The houses which have more in common with frogs than you might think.

And the two giant pandas making a big journey to Belgium.

First to Ukraine, a country that looks on the brink of revolution. In

the capital city Kiev, there have been weeks of demonstrations against

the country's president, Victor Yanukovich. Those clashes turned

more violent in the past few days, with dozens killed and many injured.

A deal was signed yesterday, promising elections before the end

of this year. But today things have moved even further on. At the

moment, there is no sign of the president in the capital city. His

official government buildings have been abandoned. As you can see from

these live pictures, protestors still line the streets of Kiev,

demanding that President Yanukovich resign immediately. They don't want

any deals to be done. Not they will not except any

agreements and demand that he stands down. Some people say he is hiding

in a city in eastern Ukraine, loyal to the current government. Others

say he has left the country altogether. Is no way to confirm or

deny the reports. It is empty and calm in Kiev for now.

We'll keep you updated on what happens as the day goes on and if

Next, the recent flooding in the UK has caused chaos, and millions of

pounds worth of damage. But rather than turning to sandbags in times of

crisis, there could be a new way to build flood proof houses. In the

Netherlands, they have built floating, amphibious homes that

adapt to the rising water levels. Take a look at this.

On the inside, they look like any regular house but on the outside the

view tells you they are anything but. These are floating houses in

the Netherlands built on cement blocks. When the water rises - so do

the houses - making them flood-proof. Let's take a look

around one. I am on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Is a floating community.

The homes work on the basis of the Archimedes principle. Have a look at

this view. If we go into the basement, life goes on below the

surface of the lake. So is this something we should be doing in the

UK, in areas at risk of flooding? We are looking at the possibilities in

the UK. It is a combination of floating houses and amphibious

houses. Like frogs, amphibious houses can live on land and on

water. It does cost a bit more to build them but the idea is that

spending more money making houses flood-proof means you won't have to

pay the expensive clean-up costs that flooding can cause. Housing

planners from Britain, America and India have already been over to the

Netherlands to check out this buoyant idea. So it may be that in

the future, this could be the view you wake up to in the morning.

It's another big weekend of Six Nations rugby action. In today's

early kick-off, Italy take on Scotland in Rome, with both sides

looking for their first win. Last night, Wales put in a thumping win

over France. A try from George North helped give the Welsh a healthy 20

points to six lead at half-time. And when France had Louis Pickamole sent

to the sin bin, Wales captain Sam Warburton made it over the line to

finish the job. That result means Ireland are the

only side unbeaten in the championship now. Centre Brian

O'Driscoll will equal the world record for international caps with

139, when his side take on England at Twickenham at 4pm.

The home support will count in my side's favour. Twickenham is an

inspirational place to play. You walk down the corridor of fans and

it brings it home to the magnitude of the game.

The Winter Olympics in Sochi draws to a close this weekend, and we now

know who will have the honour of carrying Team GB's flag in

tomorrow's closing ceremony. And it will be Lizzy Yarnold - the gold

medal-winning skeleton superstar - who will wave the Union flag and

lead her team-mates out in Sunday's grand finale to the Games.

One British star who might be glad to see the back of these games is

speed skater Elise Christie, who was disqualified for the third time

yesterday. The Brit was penalised for a collision, in her 1,000 metre

short track semifinal. Had she won GB's fifth medal, it would have been

the nation's best ever total at a Winter Olympics. Afterwards she said

she couldn't understand what had gone wrong.

I am devastated. Not being given the chance to do the final, I can't

believe it has happened again. I will come back in four years try

again. I will work hard. Last up, two giant pandas from China

are on their way to Belgium where they will be the star attractions in

a zoo. Xing Hui, who's a boy, and Hao Hao, who's a girl, are both four

years old and have been leased to the zoo in Belgium for 15 years.
