First today, children

in the American state of Florida

who survived a shooting

at their school have met

with President Trump and lawmakers.

They went to the capital of Florida

and to Washington, DC,

where they talked about the changes

they want to happen.

They went in their hundreds

and they wanted to be heard.

Children from the school affected

by the shooting were joined

alongside hundreds of other students

in Florida and Washington, DC.

Some of the survivors of the school

shooting met with President Trump

because they want changes to gun

laws

so this won't happen again.

Trump suggested that if teachers

in America were armed

with guns themselves,

then they might be able to stop

a shooting from happening.

Some people support

President Trump's suggestion

but others say more guns isn't

the answer to this problem.

The US leader also says he wants

better checks on the backgrounds

of people who want to buy guns.

While the meeting was

taking place, hundreds

of children marched outside.

Many children across America

are now planning to come

together in Washington,

DC next month for a protest

they have called

March For Our Lives.

Dua Lipa and Stormzy

were the big winners

at the Brit Awards.

Let's start with Stormzy.

He had an amazing night,

scooping Best Male Singer

and Album of the Year.

He was the last to perform,

closing the Brits, which took place

in London last night.

Dua Lipa was the only artist to walk

away with two awards.

She got Best Female

and Breakthrough Artist

and brought her little

brother and sister on stage

with her to collect her award.

Every single female that has been

on the stage before me, that has

given girls like me,

not just girls in the music industry

but girls in society,

a place to be inspired by

to look up to and that have

allowed us to dream this big.

Ed Sheeran.

Ed Sheeran was also a winner

although he lost out

to Stormzy in two categories.

He was given a special

award for global success.

One of the awards voted

for by the fans was for Best Video.

Harry Styles got that one

for Best British Video,

although he wasn't there

to collect it.

His One Direction band-mate

Liam Payne was there

with his girlfriend Cheryl.

He performed with Rita Ora

singing their single For You.

Liam Gallagher performed live

Forever in memory of the victims

of the Manchester terror attacks

at an Ariana Grande

concert last May.

Little Mix were up for Best British

Single and Best British Video

but walked away empty-handed.

These amazing designs appearing

in the night sky were created

by a swarm of 300 drones

all working together.

They all have lights on them,

which change colour.

They're controlled by a computer

programme, which stops

them doing silly things

like crashing into each other!

A company has designed a way

of making your face into a lollipop.

Confused? Take a look at this.

First take a video of yourself on

your phone. The company then take

that video and turn it into a

chocolate lollipop. Looks cool,

right? A special machine uses the

video to carve the outline of your

face into the chocolate. And here

you go, perfect match. Well, kind

of.
