First up, medal news for Team GB.

And overnight there was a bronze

for Great Britain -

making this our most successful

Winter games ever!

The second to last day

of the Winter Olympics

and Billy Morgan was the hero.

It was a chance for the big jumpers

to show off their skills

on their snowboards in the Big Air

event in South Korea.

A huge 49 metre ramp stands in front

of Billy and medal glory.

Complicated tricks and a nice clean

landing are what's needed

to impress the judges.

He'd only just qualified

for the final - but on his

second jump, he did this.

COMMENTATOR:

He holds it up. Yes. It

was huge and put the nose clap on

it, the hardest grab. Yes, Billy.

That left one last

chance to secure a spot

in the medal positions.

Morgan, yes. Billie Morgan with the

double grab fun site triple. That is

massive, is huge. -- frontside.

Medal position and a long, nervous

wait.

Canada's Max Parrow

was his biggest threat

for the bronze medal.

But he had a bit of a nightmare

and crashed out on his final jump.

So Billy did it!

An injury last year meant he almost

missed out on the Games.

But lots of hard work meant that

instead, he helped Team GB come home

with a fifth medal to make

it their best performance

at a Winter Olympics ever.

Get your hats and gloves

on and get wrapped up!

Well, the Beast from

the East is on its way!

What am I talking about?

Well, take a look at this...

The gritters are getting

ready as Britain braces

itself for a big freeze.

What weather forecasters

are calling the

Beast from the East is sweeping

in from Siberia in Russia.

Basically, there's lots of cold air

hanging around there -

and easterly winds are blowing it

all over to the UK.

Weather experts have issued

a cold weather alert

for the whole of the country.

It's a level three warning,

which means there's a 99% chance

of icy conditions or snow

between now and Thursday.

It's certainly not the first snow

we'll have this winter -

But it could feel chillier because

of the wind.

Next week, it's supposed to be

the official start of spring -

but it looks like that's

going to be delayed.

Don't put away those hats

and gloves just yet!
