took along 15-year-old Kieran, who uses a wheelchair, to take a look.

And not only that, I also gave Kieran the surprise of his life.

My goodness! This is impressive. Although there are no people in it,

you can feel the energy. I know that sounds really cliche, but honestly,

it is really intense. David Weir is my favourite athlete.

Until David Weir, I had no idea there was even an Olympics or a

Commonwealth for people like us. He is one of the most special ones

here. What he does not know is that his day is about to get even better.

You Kieran? I am. Hello, nice to meet you. Surprised? Yes, very. You

OK? Yes, this is really weird. So because you want to be a

journalist, I thought you could ask David some questions for me.

Yes! Tell me how you came to realise

about wheelchair racing? Through the London Marathon. Even

from the age of four, I always wanted to watch the marathon because

it was the only race where you could see wheelchairs on television.

What are you expecting from the Commonwealth Games?

I will just do my best on the day. I do not like putting too much

pressure on myself. I train to win. I would love to win a Gold medal in

Hampden Park and for England. That is the aim. But any medal will do.
