this Monday morning.

Coming up in the next few minutes: England are on top of the world.

And find out why it was a happy ending for these two elephants.

First up - England's cricket team completed an amazing fightback

to beat India by nine runs yesterday and win the Women's

World Cup at Lord's.

Here's how England got their hands on the winning trophy.

After losing their opening game against India, England's cricket

team won the rest of their matches and faced India in

the World Cup final.

Fans were queuing round the block as they waited to see the England

team come out to a sell-out crowd of 26,500 fans in one of the biggest

matches of their lives.

After tossing a coin, England chose to bat first.

They scored 228 runs.

This meant India then had to score 229 to win.

At one point, it looked like India were going to win easily.

But then in a short amount of time, England had an amazing comeback

by taking seven more wickets to get India all out for 219 and win

the World Cup final.

Anya Shrubsole got six out of the ten wickets that England

needed to win the game.

England's Tammy Beaumont was also named player of the tournament.

It was a spectacular way for England to be

crowned champions of the

world.

And BBC Sport's David Ornstein was actually at Lord's

to see the winning match, and he sent us this.

This tournament had already been an amazing success

with record ticket sales, record television audiences

and some fantastic cricket.

But the final took it to a totally new level

with almost 27,000 fans packed into Lord's,

that's the biggest crowd for

a women's cricket match in British history.

And what a match it was, with England winning

the World Cup, it's

not often we can see that.

It wasn't only a victory for them, but also

for women's cricket and women's sport as a whole on a day that

brought new audiences, young people and family into cricket.

And dreams certainly did come true for star player Anya Shrubsole.

Before the final, her dad tweeted a picture of his daughter

as a nine-year-old who said she wanted to play in

a World Cup final at Lord's.

And there has been even more sporting success over the weekend.

In cycling - Britain's Chris Froome won the Tour de France

for the fourth time.

England beat Spain 2-0 to take a huge step towards

the Women's Euro quarter-finals.

And although Scotland lost 2-1 to Portugal,

there is a chance they could qualify in the championship.

And Sammi Kinghorn won gold on the final day of the World

Paraathletics Championships as Britain finished with their best

medals result for 19 years.

Next, Great Britain's under 23s team took on Turkey at the World

Wheelchair Basketball Championships last month - and for the first

time they won gold!

Hayley went to meet the team in Sheffield, where they train.

It was this match with this shot that gave the GB team the winning

trophy.

But it hasn't stopped there, the team have

reunited here in Sheffield

because they are now training around the clock

for the European basketball

championships, and is even some hope for Paralympic success in the

future.

We'd been back just over two weeks, so it is starting to set in.

You look back, since I've been back I've not thought about it too much.

It's good to have a think back, you don't get much time to stop and

think about the stuff we've achieved.

What is it about wheelchair possible you love?

Everything, I'm really competitive.

I've always been so competitive, every aspect has made

my life a million times better than without it.

What is next for you guys?

Could we be seeing Paralympics in 2020?

I hope so, if we could achieve gold, that is my

dream.

We will keep our eyes open.

Doctor Who fans have often wandered

Well, Doctor Who boss, Steven Moffat has revealed his name

is Doctor Who and not the Doctor, as many believe.

And it was a happy ending for two elephants washed out to sea.

The two young elephants were saved from drowning yesterday

by the Sri Lankan navy.
