Mars, because earlier today India made space history.

After successfully putting a satellite into orbit

around the red planet, India became the only country to do

A final push from its main engine and India's spacecraft finally slips

into the red planet's orbit. It's a journey that has taken ten months

and the success of the mission has catapulted the country into an elite

club of deep space explorers. Only the US, Europe and Russia have

previously sent missions to Mars and India is the first country to

succeed on its first attempt. History has been created today. We

have dared to reach out into the unknown, and have achieved the near

impossible. Getting a spaceship successfully into or orbit round

Mars is no easy task. More than half the world's previous attempts have

failed. They have managed to make it one of the cheapest missions to Mars

ever. It is less than the estimated budget of the sci-fi blockbuster

Gravity. We are proud to be Indian, we are proud to be born into a

country that can do anything. It has made an inusual space buddy. US

NASA's Curiosity Rover gave them a welcome to the planet.

Congratulations. The probe will circle Mars for at least six months,

taking pictures of the planet and studying its atmosphere.

They are some of the biggest stars of children's TV and this Friday

Elmo, Cookie Monster and some new friends are back on your screens.

The Furchester Hotel is the first time the American characters have

starred in a British made series. Filming has been top secret, but BBC

entertainment reporter Colin Patterson managed to get a sneaky

peek and chat with the stars. Cookie Monster, Elmo, hi. Tell me all ant

this fantastic hotel. . It is called The Furchester Hotel. It is a

terrific place. It is a monster hotel. What do you do? ? Head

waiter. I do room service. The idea is that the gang all work in the

hotel, causing all kinds of chaos for the guests and other staff. Me

love breakfast. Signing Cookie Monster was such a big deal it made

it on to Newsnight. Why Britain, why the BBC? Cookie! Bye. The hotel has

been built from scratch, with all kinds of cool features to make the

characters feel right at home. And there is no prizes for guessing what

anyone checking in can expect for breakfast. Cookie! Nom, nom.
