Hi, guys, Leah here with speeding sports cars, super seal pups and

what's up with Man United and Moyes, all coming up on Newsround.

But first to the mystery of what scientists say is one of the most

amazing fossil discoveries ever - a graveyard full of five million year

old whale bones was found in a desert in South America in 2011 but

no one could figure out how they got there - until now. Here's Ayshah

Hill, in Chile's Atacama Desert. This area is well known for its

fossils. But the huge discovery of 2011 was on another level.

Scientists were left baffled after uncovering skeletons of over 40

whales, as well as other animals, dating back more than five million

years. Now experts think they've worked out why such a large number

of the mammals ended up in the same spot. They think it was caused by

whales getting stranded on four separate occasions. The evidence

suggests they died at sea after swallowing toxic algae - a group of

tiny plant-like creatures. The dead mammals were then washed towards the

coast, where they became buried by sand and preserved over time. This

really is one of the best finds for a long time. We have young and old

animals in the sample. It is a cross-section of a single population

and it is a fabulous opportunity to examine how that population might

have looked. Researchers scanned the bones with the latest 3D technology,

which means they can print them in plastic to study them further. It

should help us learn new things about whales and other species on

Earth. Back in the UK, seal pups orphaned

after extreme weather on the east coast of England have been released

back into the wild. 100 pups were brought to the wildlife hospital in

Norfolk after a major rescue mission in December. And today eight of them

were sent back out into the North Sea.

Next to the question of what is going on at Manchester United? Last

night their bad season got worse when they lost 2-0 to the worst team

left in the Champions League. It's another disappointment for a side

used to success and some of you told Ricky who you think's to blame. I

think it is David Moyes. He thinks is -- I think the club is going

wrong. I think it is the players not

putting enough ever done. I think it is David Moyes.

the land speed record for a sports car after clocking 270 miles per

hour on a runway in Florida. It needs to do two lengths of the
