metre breaststroke world record for the second time

in a day as he reached the World Aquatics Championships

22-year-old Adam is the defending champion and after winning his

semi-final he is now the first person in the world to swim faster

Honestly, this morning I knew it was going to be hard to beat that, but

coming out tonight, I was a bit down because it's been such an emotional

last few days, so I thought I would do what I do, and I'm not going to

waste a day and an opportunity because I don't know if it will be

my last. I just went out there and did what I do.

But since the massive fire at Grenfell Tower in London five

weeks ago, there have been concerns about how safe they are in

Ricky has been to meet Shania who lives in a tower block in London.

Hello, Ricky. How long have you lived here for? Basically a year.

What have we got here? This is the kitchen. Wow, what a view. This is

incredible. What is it like living here and having this view? I love

it. The Shard is there. After a long day at school, Chennai is home and

showing the round her flat in South London. I used to irritate my mum

with my friends. I have lived here for a year and I enjoy it. I like

the view, I like my bedroom and I like the bigger space, and it's got

a roof garden. I prefer it. Since last month's fire at Grenfell Tower,

people who look after other tower blocks around the country have been

working to make sure buildings are safe in the future and to make sure

a tragedy like that never happens again. What was it like when the

fire happened at Grenfell Tower? Did you see anything? Yes, I could see

the smoke. Yes, shocking. One of the big things that has been

talked about at the Grenfell Tower Fire is this stuff. It is called

cladding and it is wrapped around buildings to try and protect it from

the weather and to also change the appearance of the tower. Some

experts have said that the type of cladding used could have had a part

in making the fire at Grenfell Tower much worse.

The building here has the same type of cladding that -- but the company

that owns it said it would be taken off and replace. They say the fire

brigade have checked the building and say it to live in right now

because of all the other safety features, including sprinklers and

smoke alarms in every home. They told us to test our fire alarms,

both of them, and to be careful. We have been given a lot of advice. We

have sprinklers basically everywhere. Every room you going,

there is a sprinkler. We have been told we are safe and there is

nothing for us to worry about. Shania and her mum have heard a lot

about tower blocks since the fire at Grenfell Tower. Many people in the

blocks with cladding won the authorities to do more to make them

feel safe, but Shania and her mum say they are happy living here.
