Hi, Whitney here live
from the Newsround studio. | 0:00:04 | 0:00:07
Coming up in the next few minutes... | 0:00:07 | 0:00:11
The record-breaker
sailing to success. | 0:00:11 | 0:00:13
And a boy with a cracking
business idea. | 0:00:13 | 0:00:21
First up... | 0:00:27 | 0:00:28
With the Winter Olympics just ten
days away, some British athletes | 0:00:28 | 0:00:31
have been getting a taste
of medal success already. | 0:00:31 | 0:00:37
Britain's Izzy Atkin,
who is just 19, won silver | 0:00:37 | 0:00:40
in the ski slopestyle,
while 2017 champion James Woods came | 0:00:40 | 0:00:44
third in the ski big air. | 0:00:44 | 0:00:47
But as well as British success,
there has been a lot of extreme | 0:00:47 | 0:00:51
action at this year's Games. | 0:00:51 | 0:00:55
Take a look at this. | 0:00:55 | 0:00:59
I couldn't even begin to count
the number of flips he did there, | 0:00:59 | 0:01:02
but it's not just the men
who have been impressing. | 0:01:02 | 0:01:05
This run was enough to get
Anna Gasser her first | 0:01:05 | 0:01:07
X Games big air gold medal. | 0:01:07 | 0:01:09
But if you think the X Games
are all about skiing | 0:01:09 | 0:01:11
and snowboarding, well,
you'd be wrong. | 0:01:11 | 0:01:13
Check this out. | 0:01:13 | 0:01:21
I wonder who actually figured out
you could flip a snowmobile. | 0:01:21 | 0:01:29
Now, here is one boy who has found
an EGG-cellent way of making a bit | 0:01:29 | 0:01:33
of extra pocket money. | 0:01:33 | 0:01:34
Watch this. | 0:01:34 | 0:01:36
Most kids want a puppy
or a kitten as a pet. | 0:01:36 | 0:01:39
But not Avi. | 0:01:39 | 0:01:41
He wanted chickens. | 0:01:41 | 0:01:44
I like keeping them because it's fun
to, like, play with them, | 0:01:44 | 0:01:47
and I give them cuddles. | 0:01:47 | 0:01:51
Here's your breakfast! | 0:01:51 | 0:01:52
Every morning and night
after school, Avi braves the weather | 0:01:52 | 0:01:54
to look after his hens. | 0:01:54 | 0:01:56
We have to clear the poo
in the coop, we have to fill | 0:01:56 | 0:01:59
the water and food up,
collect the eggs. | 0:01:59 | 0:02:03
But they're not just pets any more. | 0:02:03 | 0:02:05
Avi realised he could make some
extra money selling their eggs. | 0:02:05 | 0:02:09
So we started off with four hens,
and now we've increased to 56. | 0:02:09 | 0:02:14
We get orders, we've got a Facebook
page and we deliver them every week. | 0:02:14 | 0:02:20
And the whole family's got involved
with his egg selling business. | 0:02:20 | 0:02:24
His parents are the delivery
drivers and his brothers | 0:02:24 | 0:02:26
help with packing them. | 0:02:26 | 0:02:28
I didn't think it would
get this big so soon. | 0:02:28 | 0:02:34
So it's... | 0:02:34 | 0:02:35
I'm proud of my brother. | 0:02:35 | 0:02:37
So what's so special
about Avi's eggs? | 0:02:37 | 0:02:39
Our chickens are well loved. | 0:02:39 | 0:02:40
All day they can walk around
the grass and eat all the bugs, | 0:02:40 | 0:02:43
and our yolk is really orange. | 0:02:43 | 0:02:47
Looks like you're running an
absolutely cracking business, Avi! | 0:02:47 | 0:02:55
Next, to one of the toughest ocean
races in the world - | 0:02:58 | 0:03:01
the World Yacht Race -
and to Nicki Henderson, | 0:03:01 | 0:03:03
the youngest ever winner. | 0:03:03 | 0:03:04
Watch this. | 0:03:04 | 0:03:06
Sailing across open
oceans under blue skies. | 0:03:06 | 0:03:08
Sounds like a dream, doesn't? | 0:03:08 | 0:03:11
But these crews have to sail 40,000
nautical miles across the world. | 0:03:11 | 0:03:14
The incredible journey
starts here in the UK, | 0:03:14 | 0:03:17
sailing from Liverpool to South
America. | 0:03:17 | 0:03:19
Then up to the tip of Africa,
round Australia, up to China, | 0:03:19 | 0:03:23
all the way to Seattle
on the West Coast | 0:03:23 | 0:03:26
of the United States,
to New York on the east coast, | 0:03:26 | 0:03:28
and back to the UK again! | 0:03:28 | 0:03:32
It takes almost a whole
year to complete! | 0:03:32 | 0:03:36
I feel exhausted just
thinking about it. | 0:03:36 | 0:03:40
But it has not been too much
for Nikki's crew to handle. | 0:03:40 | 0:03:43
She is sailing in the Clipper Round
the World Yacht Races, | 0:03:43 | 0:03:45
as part of Team Visit Seattle. | 0:03:45 | 0:03:49
And they have won one of the most
difficult race stages, | 0:03:49 | 0:03:52
sailing from Hobart on the island
of Tasmania up to the east | 0:03:52 | 0:03:55
coast of Australia. | 0:03:55 | 0:03:59
The big win means 24-year-old Nikki
from Guildford is now the youngest | 0:03:59 | 0:04:02
ever skipper to win a race
in the competition. | 0:04:02 | 0:04:05
This route alone took 11 days,
with the crew facing massive | 0:04:05 | 0:04:09
lightning storms and winds
as powerful as a small hurricaine. | 0:04:09 | 0:04:13
So, how are they feeling? | 0:04:13 | 0:04:16
The race was really tough, actually. | 0:04:16 | 0:04:17
Tougher than any
of us were expecting. | 0:04:17 | 0:04:19
It was a challenging race. | 0:04:19 | 0:04:22
They are now halfway
through the entire race route, | 0:04:22 | 0:04:24
all 40,000 nautical miles of it. | 0:04:24 | 0:04:29
But thankfully they get a little bit
of a break before starting | 0:04:29 | 0:04:31
the next race stage,
which will take them almost | 0:04:31 | 0:04:34
6000 miles to China. | 0:04:34 | 0:04:35
Best of luck, guys! | 0:04:35 | 0:04:36
And enjoy your time off. | 0:04:36 | 0:04:37
Sounds like you have
definitely earned it. | 0:04:37 | 0:04:44
Now - if you're potty about Potter
you won't want to miss this. | 0:04:44 | 0:04:48
Imagine living in the Hogwarts world
while on your phone or tablet. | 0:04:48 | 0:04:50
Hayley's been looking into it. | 0:04:50 | 0:04:55
Calling all Potter fans. | 0:04:55 | 0:04:57
Are you still waiting
on your letter to Hogwarts? | 0:04:57 | 0:04:59
Wish you could take
part in a wizard duel? | 0:04:59 | 0:05:01
Then this news is right
up your Diagon Alley. | 0:05:01 | 0:05:04
A trailer has been released
for a brand-new Harry | 0:05:04 | 0:05:06
Potter mobile game. | 0:05:06 | 0:05:07
It's called Harry Potter:
Hogwarts Mystery. | 0:05:07 | 0:05:11
Players can create their own
character and attend Hogwarts' set | 0:05:11 | 0:05:14
in the 1980s. | 0:05:14 | 0:05:16
Characters like Hagrid,
Snape and Professor | 0:05:16 | 0:05:18
McGonagall will all be there. | 0:05:18 | 0:05:21
You can attend spells
and potion classes | 0:05:21 | 0:05:23
and even have wizard duels. | 0:05:23 | 0:05:26
The app will be released
later this year but | 0:05:26 | 0:05:28
there's more Harry
Potter on the way. | 0:05:28 | 0:05:35
A game called Wizards Unite is also
in the works which will be | 0:05:35 | 0:05:38
similar to Pokemon Go. | 0:05:38 | 0:05:39
