Hello, Martin here with your Sunday newsround. It was a record-breaking

night for Arsenal who became the first team to lift the FA Cup for

the third time. Alexis Sanchez gave the gunners the lead. And while BA

or cost the revived Chelsea's hopes in the second half Ramsey scored the

winner with a late header. The winner means Arsene Wenger becomes

the first manager to win the FA Cup seven times. And in Glasgow Celtic

have won the Scottish cup with this goal from Ms Roddick which is about

to come in a couple of seconds. Aberdeen have scored first but

Burson equalled by Stuart Armstrong and the winning goal came from Tom

Roddick 's going that it secure the cup. In a land in the middle of the

ocean is a large rubbish dump. Anderson Island in the South

Pacific, this desert island lies 3000 miles off the coast of South

America and it is far from paradise. The one this year and it is littered

with plastic people throw away. Research teams spent three months

here and see the phone so much rubbish, nearly 17 tonnes of it

dumped along the coastline, so what is going on? Why plastic ends up in

in the ocean. Plastic does not always break down so badly it enters

Pacific garbage patch which is halfway between Hawaii and

California and some people think that Henderson Island is suffering

because of where it sits on the planet. It is shocking because as

you step along the beach and the plastic is absolutely everywhere, --

plastic is everywhere. Could best help clean up the rubbish dump? If

floating barrier designed to attract plastic in the ocean while allowing

marine life to pass by without getting caught. The team say the

technology, ready in 12 months, could remove half of all the rubbish

in the Pacific in five years. Plastic in the ocean causes a big

environmental issue, over 100 species are already threatened by

extinction. And also it becomes more hazardous overtime. Back on

Henderson Island the wildlife has had to adapt, making plastic tubs

and bottle tops the home. And with thousands of new items washing up

every day this protected site for now will remain the planet stamping
