Hi, I'm Martin, it's Friday afternoon and this is Newsround.

Here's what's coming up on the show.

It's finals weekend for The Voice and we've got the lowdown for you.

And could this be the world's most famous tortoise?

But first, today could be a big day in the fight to save elephants.

Over the last seven years the number of the animals in the wild

has dropped by a third because of poaching.

And it's all because their tusks are made of ivory.

Here's Ricky with more.

Thousands of shops across China sell ornaments like this

which are made out of ivory.

It's big business here and the items are worth a lot of money.

Ivory comes from the tusks of elephants, and in Africa

many of the animals are illegally hunted for that ivory.

Pressure has been put on China for years to end its part

in the ivory trade.

And today almost half the factories and shops that sell ivory in China

have been shut down.

And the rest will be closed by the end of the year.

China is the country with the world's largest ivory market.

That's where we see the greatest demand.

So this change is going make a real difference for African elephants

because if we can reduce that demand all law abiding citizens will not

be buying the ivory.

This move won't totally end the problem as lots of ivory

is bought and sold illegally, which is much harder to stop.

But conservationists are glad that China is closing its ivory shops

and hopes it will mean less is bought and sold in the country,

saving the lives of thousands of elephants.

Next, this rocket launch behind me is no ordinary lift-off.

It's the first time a rocket's headed back into space after having

been there before.

Normally rocket parts are used only once and then scrapped or destroyed

when it lands back on Earth.

But American company SpaceX has found a way of landing rocket parts

safely back on Earth and then re-using them to head

back into space.

It's hoped this will help make rocket launches a lot

cheaper than before.

Next, for almost three months we've been watching singers battle it out

to be crowned the winner of The Voice UK.

This weekend four finalists will be on that stage

fighting for your votes.

Ricky's been checking out the competition.

The Voice.

It may have switched channels.

But that hasn't stopped the talent from shining through.

This year, new coaches were thrown into the mix.

Jennifer Hudson, Tom came back and this guy - Gavin Rossdale.

Poor thing.

he's the only one without a contestant in this weekend's final.

So let's meet 2017's finalists.

For Team JHud, Jamie and Mo.

Tom Jones has this duo called Into the Ark - clever name!

And Michelle will be singing her heart out for will-i-am.

So can the sixth series of The Voice deliver a superstar?

It's not going to be easy.

Recognise any of these previous winners?

Well, maybe not.

This year ITV say they're doing things differently.

The winner won't release a new single straight away.

Instead a recording of their final performance will be available

to stream and download.

Then whoever wins the public vote will head into the studio to work

with top producers and release an album a few weeks later.

Next to a snake drinking a bottle of water.

That's right!

India has been hit with a serious drought, which means that there's

been no rain for quite a while and there

isn't a lot of water.

And as you can see this Cobra is pretty thirssssssty!

Look he's almost finished the whole bottle!

Finally, from one reptile to another, and this one is possibly

the most famous tortoise in the world!

This cute little fella is Bubba and he's is a major internet star -

with views of the video racking up around 60 million.

Wow!

He's not exactly a slow tortoise, is he?

Look at him go!

His family say the thing he enjoys is being out around people,
