The Stags reach The Last Stand Raven

Our land is in danger.

The evil sorcerer Nevar and his foul demons

have found a way to escape the desolate realm that imprisons them

and are seeking to conquer ours.

Only the one true protector of the land

can find the warriors to save us.

My name is Raven,

and I seek the true warriors.

16 of the bravest and most worthy have answered my call.

Which of them will conquer the challenges?

Who will reach the Grand Tournament

and be named as a true warrior?

Four groups of warriors have now competed in many challenges,

and three warriors have now been selected for the Grand Tournament.

Now, the fourth and final warrior will join them.

While Sharow failed in his quest

to collect enough treasure rings,

these three warriors remain.

But only one of them can take victory in The Last Stand.

It is tight at the top, as we head into today's challenges.

Scona leads the way

with 16 treasure rings.

But Cersage and Kaichir are not far behind

with 15 rings apiece.

The next few challenges are crucial

for all three of these brave warriors.

and reach the portal to the Grand Tournament,

we have arrived at a challenge

that will have you scratching your heads for answers.

Each of these statues hides a symbol

representing a creature from this land.

Most of these come in pairs,

with the twin symbol below another idol.

But four symbols are unique.

It is these that you must seek.

For each pair that you find,

you may remove it from the playing area,

until only the four unique idols are left.

Scona, you'll be first to face this challenge.

And remember, you may only turn over two idols at a time,

so memory and observation are key in this trial.

Scona must be calm, so her mind can remain clear.

Scona finds her first pair.

A raven is found.

If Scona finds another, she will gain a ring.

A single demon.

This means she must lose a ring.

Another raven, but can Scona remember where its partner is?

Two ravens, a ring is won.

Another demon found means another ring lost.

Two demons. Now they can be removed.

Scona has cleared the demons from this challenge,

but she must carry on with haste as time is running short.

Scona must move quickly if she's going to succeed.

Another pair.

Scona has a keen eye indeed, but she must be quick.

Your time is running short, warrior.

The warrior must leave only the unique symbols behind.

The unique idols must be placed on the post before the sands run out.

But is there time?

Scona, you may return from Nevar's realm,

but use of my magic comes at a cost.

I thought that Idol Wise would be quite a hard challenge,

because I don't have that great a memory.

I think I did OK, but if I would have had ten more seconds,

I think I would have gotten all the right idols up.

Kaichir is next to face this challenge,

and the demon is watching.

Can he find the symbols in time?

His first pair.

He must move quickly to find the others.

A demon symbol.

If the second symbol does not match, he will lose a ring.

A ring is lost.

Kaichir must remember where the demon symbol lurks.

This warrior is taking a methodical approach,

working from left to right in each row.

A pair is found.

This warrior has a good memory.

A raven.

He must find another to gain a ring.

A pair of ravens, a ring is won.

Close, but these symbols do not match.

Yet another pair.

Kaichir is doing well,

but his time is running out.

A demon.

Two demons. By finding its match,

Kaichir has removed both from the challenge.

Kaichir has only four idols left,

but are they unique?

Well done, warrior. The challenge is conquered.

That game went absolutely amazing,

because I got four rings out of five,

which, it was really hard to get five.

And I'm so happy because now I've got a lead, in first with 19 rings.

I'm feeling so confident after this challenge,

I'm all fired up now.

Cersage is the third warrior.

Can she equal Kaichir's victory and find all four symbols in time?

A demon symbol is found.

Without finding its pair, Cersage has lost a ring.

A raven. You must remember where this idol rests, warrior.

Two ravens, a ring is won.

Memory and speed are required

to complete this challenge successfully.

Another pair is found.

Cersage has overturned the same demon again.

Unless she finds its match,

she will forfeit another ring.

This is a tricky challenge.

A true warrior needs to strike a balance between calm and haste.

It seems this warrior has lost her way.

Time is running low.

Cersage must hurry. Time is slipping away.

With time against her,

Cersage has chosen to guess at the four unique idols.

A risky tactic, but her only chance of success.

At the cost of a precious ring, Cersage,

you may return from Nevar's realm.

Idol Wise was very tricky.

I tried my best,

and I don't think I could have done better,

because it was very hard.

The next challenge, I feel excited,

because I think I'm going to do really well.

The hunt amongst the idols is over.

Kaichir's memory is sharp

and has won him the prize of four golden treasure rings,

taking him into the lead with 19.

Cersage and Scona, on the other hand, were defeated.

Although they both found a pair of ravens,

they overturned two demons and ran out of time,

meaning they each lose two rings overall.

With one challenge remaining before The Last Stand,

the leaderboard hangs in the balance.

The warriors still need to complete one challenge

before they reach The Last Stand,

but which challenge should it be?

It seems Nevar doesn't want us trying these challenges.

Wise one, I summon you.

We must have angered Nevar,

for he has sent his demons to destroy the challenges.

Ah, the challenges' magic will restore them.

Nevar is not strong enough to destroy them yet.

True, though the warriors have one more challenge to complete

before The Last Stand.

Then you must venture deeper into the forest.

Yes. Though before we go,

I think we should distract Nevar into thinking we are here.

That way, the path forward is safer for us.

It appears you have learned quickly, Raven.

It is not long since you found my staff at the end of your own quest.

When I saw you cast a spell on Nevar in the Ultimate Battle,

I knew something had gone wrong.

I knew I had to find you.

No.

Your quest was not to find me, Raven.

It was to find the land's protector.

When you found my staff, you found yourself.

You are Raven, now.

My quest is not ended.

It is just begun.

I will find the true warriors to stop Nevar.

It seems the staff has found a worthy warrior, indeed.

It takes a stout heart to undertake the journey here

in the quest to become a true warrior.

The challenge ahead will test your bravery yet further.

Look upwards, and you will see golden rings hanging high

amongst the branches of this tree.

To take them, each warrior must ascend to the top.

There, you will face the Leap of Faith,

a jump out into the sky to grasp those rings

and claim an advantage.

She needs this gold more than her fellow warriors.

Cersage is almost at the top of her climb,

but when she reaches the rings above,

the leap awaits.

The climb is only the first part of this challenge.

The leap is the only way to earn treasure.

Oh, my.

Well done, warrior.

Look out to the rings.

The further you are prepared to jump,

the more rings you will win.

But miss them, and you will earn no treasure.

On the very edge, I felt quite nervous,

cos if I didn't get the two rings I wanted,

I'd have a major setback in The Last Stand.

Going into The Last Stand, I feel quite excited,

but Kaichir and Scona have a bit of a head start in front of me,

so I'm just going to have to give it my all and try and catch up.

Kaichir is next to face the Leap of Faith.

Will he have the strength and courage to succeed?

The climb is done, but will Kaichir's leap earn treasure?

Well done, warrior.

When I was about to jump on the very edge,

I felt quite happy for myself

for managing to climb up the tree, and I felt quite calm and collected,

and I did my jump and I felt really good.

Into The Last Stand, I feel quite nervous

because I know that Scona is very fast at running.

Scona must face up to her fear of heights if she is to succeed.

I can't reach anywhere.

A sign of hesitation.

I physically cannot reach anywhere.

I can't reach anywhere.

Can Scona conquer her fears and succeed?

You must stand before you leap.

Strength and agility are needed to make this climb,

and courage to make the leap.

Yes, man!

When I started climbing up the tree,

I felt very nervous at first,

because there wasn't that many places for me

to put my foot. But then I had to just take a few seconds, calm down,

stop panicking, and I got on with it.

When I was on the edge, I felt quite excited,

but also quite worried,

because I knew that if I didn't get two of them,

I wouldn't be left out before Cersage in The Last Stand.

And I don't think I'd be able to catch up with her

if I was let out third.

Courageous performances from all the warriors.

Each successfully scaled the tree

and brought two rings down to the ground.

Cersage's total now stands at 15,

Scona is second with 16,

and Kaichir leads the way

with 21 rings in his hoard.

With the challenges complete,

we must now make our way to The Last Stand.

Only one place in the Grand Tournament remains.

Who will claim it?

Warriors, I congratulate your courage and tenacity.

But your reward for these virtues seems ill-fitting.

For, having sacrificed much to battle your way here,

now you must face the villainous, evil magic of Nevar.

He knows of your quest to become a true warrior,

and that to achieve this,

you must pass your way through the portal that stands here.

You have displayed honour and courage to reach here.

But the path will only grow more challenging from this point on.

Spoken like true warriors.

The rings you warriors have collected

will determine your starting position.

Kaichir, you have the most rings,

so you will be the first to start.

Scona, you have 16 rings,

and will follow shortly after.

Cersage, with 15 rings,

you will start last,

but you still have a chance to succeed despite your disadvantage.

Only one of you will reach the portal,

and the others will face the demon's stare and lose their chance

to be named as a true warrior.

Now is the time for courage, my young friends.

May the luck of the Raven's eye be with you.

Kaichir begins quickly.

Can he hold on to his lead?

Scona starts, taking the first hurdle in her stride.

Cersage joins the race, but can she catch up with her fellow warriors?

There is now little to separate these warriors.

The ramp must be constructed to reach the warrior's shield.

By collecting the shield,

the warriors can deflect the demon's gaze.

The warriors are neck and neck as they enter the rope maze.

Cersage has wriggled her way into the lead.

The warriors must place the four golden symbols in their shield

in order to pass the next sentry of demons safely.

This race is incredibly tight.

Which one of these warriors will succeed?

This is anyone's race.

Whoever places their talisman into the opening

will reveal the portal and claim victory.

Cersage is victorious.

Incredible performance from Cersage.

She has braved the icy water,

outwitted demons,

and proved that she has the speed, courage,

agility and resourcefulness to win.

Like the stag, Cersage has shown that she is fierce in battle,

and a champion of the wilderness.

Going through to the Grand Tournament is brilliant,

because then I can really prove myself.

But to become a true warrior would be brilliant.

It would mean the world to me.

Scona, Kaichir,

your fortitude and tenacity should be celebrated by your people.

While you must leave this quest and return home,

do so with honour.

I am proud to have met you.

Going into The Last Stand, I felt quite nervous,

because I knew I was being let second out of my cage,

and I wasn't sure I'd be able to catch up.

My favourite part of Raven was...

..just proving that I can do things

that I never expected that I would before.

I hope Cersage does really well in the final tournament

and does the Stags proud, cos she was very fast in The Last Stand,

and she's a very good warrior.

I hope Cersage does very well in the grand final.

I couldn't ask for a better warrior to represent the Stags.
