My School Day School of Roars

Roooaaaar!

My school day starts

first thing at night.

ALARM RINGS

I jump out of bed, have a swamper and munch on my Monster Flakes

while Mummy gets my lunchbox ready.

I'm always on time.

Wafflebump!

Hee-hee!

Then I race up Monster Mountain to school.

-And when the bell rings...

-Bye, Mummy!

-..it's time for class.

My teacher, Miss Grizzlesniff, is very friendly and a bit silly.

Ta-dah!

She teaches us lots of things.

-We learn our monster alphabet.

-"A" is for...?

-ALL:

-Aggggh!

-We learn monster maths.

-A spider has eight legs.

Well done, Meepa.

And we do monster art...

Ah, a masterpiece!

..monster games...

Oh! Haa-haa!

..and sometimes we do cookery.

I love making cakes.

Yum-num-num!

If we work hard, we get a gold star.

I have lots of friends at school.

We always have fun playing together.

We learn how to share and be kind monsters

and help each other when we're feeling sad.

At the end of school, Mummy comes to collect me,

and I tell her all about my monster-mazing day.

And when it's time for bed,

I snuggle down and dream about the fun I'll have at school tomorrow.
