-First of all, congratulations.

-Wales manager. How does that sound?

-Sounds good. Obviously,

-my first role in management.

-What a huge role,

-what a huge responsibility.

-Mixed emotions. Obviously proud,

-nervous but excited.

-Looking forward to March

-and seeing the players.

-With the fans, they're never happy.

-There's this perceived image that

-you did miss a lot of friendlies.

-Throughout my career,

-I had problems with my hamstrings.

-When I played for Wales, it was one

-of the proudest moments of my life.

-My family live in Cardiff and I

-always loved playing for my country.

-Selling out the Millennium Stadium

-against Italy and Germany...

-..I've got great memories

-of playing for my country.

-Taking that into management,

-that's a plus for me.

-I've been in the same situation

-as the players.

-I remember those games, when we were

-both younger. You've aged better.

-There was an excitement

-around that team.

-When you got the ball, people

-were on the edge of their seats.

-Is that the ethos

-you'll instil in your Welsh team?

-I want us to be aggressive...

-..when we've got the ball

-and haven't got the ball.

-Excite fans, make fans

-want to come to watch Wales play.

-A winning team but also an exciting

-team doing it in the right way.

-You were a teenage sensation.

-How can you help their development?

-By making things

-That can only improve everyone.
