Five more pampered kids will be working in the factories

and farms where their favourite things are made.

And this time we're in Brazil.

This colourful country is next to host the Olympic Games

and the World Cup.

The question is, can our five kids keep up?

Don't leave things like messed up like this.

-You cannot be talking to each other.

Let's meet our five kids, they are:

I can't go out the house without not looking good.

..Shopaholic Rhianna...

I wouldn't say I am addicted to spending money

but I like buying lots of clothes.

My phone is my world.

..Demanding Kassia...

I think washing up and doing chores is slave labour at this age.

..And princess Mali...

I was really privileged in India.

I had a maid and she tidied our rooms every day.

It was lovely.

Today is their first day in Brazil, one of the biggest

countries on earth.

And I'm taking our kids to a factory that makes something that

every kid has, bikes.

Can they meet tough factory targets?

Rhianna, you have to do it quickly.

They don't go on. It's probably the most work I've done in me whole entire life.

Report to strict bosses?

It's not good enough.

-I'm sick of it, absolutely sick of it.

-Live in workers homes?

-Where's our beds?

-Here, these hammocks.

It's a very difficult situation

but arguing is going to make it a hundred times worse.

We are kicking off nearly

5,000 miles from home in the baking north east of Brazil.

This vast country has a population of just over 200 million people.

Famous for its beaches, its rainforest, its farms

and its football.

First stop for our five on their epic adventure is

here in Teresina.

Which also happens to be the hottest city in the entire country.

What are you most worried about?

I don't want to be anywhere near snakes, bats or rats.

OK, I can't guarantee that you won't come across any of them.

And, Michael, this is your first trip away from home.

You've never left the UK

-How are you finding it.

It's just weird to see how different it is to England.

It's just very, very strange.

Right now we are on our way to our very first factory.

But before that I've got a massive surprise in store for our five kids.

The kids won't just be working in this city,

they'll be sleeping here as well.

I thought before I took you to the first factory it might be

worth showing you where you're going to be staying tonight.

THEY GASP

So, boys, this is your traditional mud hut.

This is a typical home for a factory worker here.

It's a million miles from what they are used to.

Kassia, how you feeling about your new home?

I don't even know what to say. I can't...

You're literally flabbergasted...completely shocked.

The Costa family of seven built these huts themselves.

And they are putting up our kids for the night.

I can't really point stuff out it's just everything's horrible.

Thirteen year old Michael is a real homebody

and this trip is the first time he's left the country.

I actually thought Brazil was in Spain

but I found out it's in South America, which is

quite embarrassing but can't say geography is one of my strengths.

But Michael is particularly good at doing as little as possible.

Didn't really want to get up today

but I was just like, "Oh, just go back to sleep."

Michael's exceptionally lazy. He's got the gold award for laziness.

Michael doesn't even look after his collection of pets.

Mam, mam.

It is fair to say that my mum is wrapped around my finger.

He just drops everything and it's me that has to pick it up.

I think she gives into us too easily.

I have spoiled him but he is my only one.

Dawn gives Michael around £160 every month.

And if he asks, he gets.

I would like him to understand how hard people have to work

to get money to get what they want.

If someone told me that I would move to Brazil

and this is my new house I think I would be devastated.

It's indescribable. Just so, so strange.

I think they are all finding it difficult but Michael seems

massively overwhelmed so I think that the whole scene is daunting and

it's completely understandable but we haven't even got to the factory yet.

And the factory we are going to is Houston Bikes.

It's the size of five football pitches. Their 800 workers

make 4,000 bikes every single day. Bikes sold in the UK come

from factories like this. It's time for the kids to meet their bosses.

It is the biggest facturer,

bike facturer in South America.

Here in Brazil bikes are very important.

Half of the population of Brazil have a bicycle.

What are your expectations for our five?

Remember you are here to work, not to have fun.

He will keep his eyes on you so be aware of it.

With two bosses watching their every move,

the kids set off for the factory floor. It's hot,

noisy and physical work. Will the bosses decide they are up to it?

Your first job in the factory is to build a wheel.

To construct the wheel, the inner tube is fixed to the frame

and then the tyre is placed on top.

My workers can do 200 in an hour.

200 in an hour?

-200 in an hour.

-They do it every day and we have never done it before

but we'll all have a go, won't we?

The kids have been given a target of half a normal worker.

They each have to do 100 wheels in an hour.

This is a fiddly task and the skills needed to do it

well are attention to detail and keeping your mind on the job.

You've got to be very quick and very fast but it has to be done properly.

Kassia is really going for it.

She's already told me very, very clearly that she hates losing

so I think that's her incentive to be as fast as possible.

They are in their fourth and we are on our second.

Rhianna is worried because her and Michael are falling behind.

Work, Michael, don't mess about.

Michael, what is happening to you. You look lazy.

It's just getting repetitive. I'm sick of it.

-Michael is massively struggling.

I think Rhianna is getting a bit frustrated with how difficult he is finding it.

Especially now she is getting more confident doing it herself.

14 year old Rhianna from Yorkshire has no worries about sharing

her opinions with the world.

If she sees something happening and she doesn't agree with it,

With gadgets piled high and two wardrobes stuffed full,

Rhianna has all that she could wish for.

All the money I get goes on clothes, bags and shoes.

I don't think Rhianna appreciates the value of money

and where things come from.

I ask my parents for money probably every week, every weekend

and some days in the week as well.

I'm quite used to getting my own way.

But her dad would like his eldest daughter to take some new

things on board in Brazil.

I'm hoping she's going to get a different slant on life.

Back in the bike factory Rhianna

and Michael are still getting on each other's nerves.

He's not doing any work.

Depending on how the kids do,

the bosses will either promote or demote them.

He did a good job but he wasn't great.

but she paid attention to what she was doing and she was perfect.

I think I did really well. Not being big headed but...

I'm pleased I got promoted because I am really competitive

so it's good to know that I am better than everyone else.

We are just finishing up now long after the other factory workers.

I think it's been a bit of a rollercoaster for our five.

Two of them were great, they were promoted. Three of them really struggled.

Michael in particular found the whole thing incredibly hard.

They've got the mud hut to contend with, I think

it's going to be a long night ahead of them.

At the huts, Michael, Mali and Olly want to find out more about

their temporary home from one of the families who live here all year round.

How long did it take to build these homes?

TRANSLATOR: 10 plus 5...15 days.

These huts might be built in two weeks

but that doesn't mean they'll stay up for ever.

How long will this house last?

It hasn't fallen down yet because we keep adding mud to these walls.

But every winter these walls fall down.

What do you do when the house falls down?

When the wind, rain and thunderstorms come I stay here,

trembling and scared.

-I feel so sorry for them.

With their home at the mercy of the weather it's

hard for the family to feel safe.

Is it your dream to eventually have a house made out of bricks?

I pray to God every night for this dream to come true.

And I have faith in God that this will happen one day.

For sure.

I hope it will.

She dreams of having a house with bricks

and that's what I've got and I've never lived in any other way

and it's just weird to think that, that could have been me.

As they all bed down,

in the girls hut they are trying to put a brave face on the night ahead.

It's going to be an interesting night, I don't want to get bitten.

It'll be an experience because I've never been in a hammock before.

I just don't want to fall out.

Over in the boys hut the hammocks are proving a challenge too.

There are lots of spiders above my bed and it's not even a real bed.

It's the morning of day two in Brazil

and the girls are getting to grips with their cold shower.

It's freezing.

But after little sleep the boys are finding it hard to get up.

My night was horrible. Absolutely horrible.

I don't want to go back to that factory.

But before we go anywhere I've got another surprise for them.

They are going to start their working day re-building

the hut they have slept in.

This is an everyday job here

and the family have asked the kids to help out.

This is something that they constantly have to keep on top of.

Else the house falls down. You heard that last night.

They'll have to mix the mud with the water

and wedge it between the wooden supports.

I actually want to do something for them.

It's really, really like, eww.

It's gross and I don't really want to do it.

The boys will have to pick up and pack the mud with their hands.

Michael isn't enjoying this job either,

but Olly and Mali are getting stuck in.

I never thought that I would have to rebuild someone's home out here.

They are joining the ranks on a real production line, making brakes.

The girls are adding the brakes to a bike order that has to be

finished today.

Kassia is threading the cable through the brakes

and Rhianna is putting the grip onto the handle bars.

The average worker here does an average of 250 per hour.

250 an hour?

250 an hour is a lot.

That's one every fourteen seconds.

Exactly what the girls are being asked to do.

You have to imagine that you are in an Olympic Games.

You have to break all the records.

It's a lot of pressure in making sure we are doing things right

-but we will work together and do it.

because it is quite a nice task to do unlike yesterday.

I don't have to go there and there move around.

I was getting really confused with the last task.

This task is fun. It is so much better than yesterday.

I could do this for a living.

I don't think the smell of it is very good but it's fun.

To be on a real production line is horrible.

I think our kids are just

so used to coming from an environment where they are

always told that as long as you try your hardest that is good enough

that they can't get their heads round that that isn't the case here.

The boss isn't interested in effort, he is interested in results.

So now it's time for the kid's big result.

Who has done enough to win over the bosses in the last two days

and earn a wage?

So you know that the bosses have been watching your every

move and they want to let you know how they think you've got on.

I realise that Rhianna and Michael didn't get on well sometimes.

We're fine now, we just disagreed on some things.

And maybe I'd been a bit harsh but we are all right now.

OK. But you have to realise that you are working together

and you are co-workers so you have to agree.

I just didn't want to get it wrong so that's why I am quite nervous.

that you are here as a team so you have to work as a team.

It's so important for them to all stick together.

I think it's very easy to point the finger and shout and bawl but

they are here in Brazil experiencing this once in a life time opportunity.

It makes it so much easier when you are a solid unit, I think.
