Previously on Glee Club, 24 acts took part in the heats.

Our expert judges selected the top five,

but only three can make it to the Grand Final.

So now, it's time for you to get involved

It's always a pleasure working with you boys, you know that.

-Pretty busy, actually. It's the semifinal!

Yes, this is the semi-final, where you guys at home decide

the fate of our Glee Clubs.

The top five made it this far by impressing our judges,

but now they need to perform to win for your votes.

Earlier today, our acts recorded their performance especially for you.

The three groups with the most votes will go through to the Grand Final

and compete to become the winners of Sport Relief Does Glee Club 2012.

-And will take home this awesome trophy!

We've been polishing up that bad boy

to make sure it's very shiny for our winners. We really have.

-Now, we've got the trophy, we just need some judges.

There's a really nice Glee Club feel about you, which I love.

I think we'll give it more percentage than we did last time.

I think with the Glee Club, you're looking for uniformity,

and that you gave us in shed loads.

Really great blending, lovely arrangements of the vocals,

no-one poking out more than the next person.

Really lovely to watch. Your soloist, a little weak.

That's my only criticism. But overall, a fantastic performance.

Nice!

Sisco, did the choreography complement the vocals?

It definitely did. Some Glee Clubs go a little too crazy

and make the vocals suffer.

You guys stuck to what you know, you stuck to the song.

It was great to watch. I love the soloist, the boy.

It was a nice, nice, nice little package. Well done, guys.

We are going to try and play to our strengths like use what we've

I really loved everything you came out with.

You said that you were going to give it all that you got.

I loved the piece that you chose. I loved the blend of the vocals.

You worked really hard on getting those really precise.

The dancing was energetic,

but you allowed the vocals to shoot out at us.

It was brilliant. Well done, girls.

How were the vocals?

One of the things you see on stage, they have to find the right balance between energy and accuracy.

Energy in the performance, but the vocals have got to be on point

otherwise the whole thing falls apart.

Your vocals were crisp and the harmonies were good.

The balance of the harmonies within the group were good.

You You wobbled a bit at the end, but by then I was sold.

The whole performance vocally was very,

very strong and the best I heard you sing.

I'm shattered just watching. Sisco, what did you think?

I thought it was a great song choice.

My only critique was with the soloist, your voice is

so angelic, I would have preferred a raw voice, maybe a male vocal.

As soon as the harmony came on, you guys sounded excellent.

Overall, it was a very energetic and fun performance, well done, guys.

Carrie, earlier you said Vocalise looked and sounded like a Glee Club?

I stand by that. I wanted to pick up on what Sisco said.

Harmonies wise, it sound good.

It's a strong semi-final. Strong semi-final.

OK, while you decide who to vote for, a chat with our judges.

David, were there any surprises for you today?

What surprised me is some of the song choices.

At this stage, song choice is really important.

And I think that they chose songs

that really showed the kind of glee clubs they are.

But some of them did not play fully to the strengths that they have got.

Now, everything that was done, was done well

but for some you just thought, if you had chosen that song

for the style that you are, it would have been better, even stronger.

To be specific though, I thought Move On Up were really good,

dance school style, musical theatre,

they stuck with their style.

Blaze have really good soloists.

Vocalise, they had a great song choice and they performed well.

Real Deal, cute, lots of energy,

sloppy tight, nice.

Loads of charm. Origin8, they were the most polished.

It's going to be really interesting to see which of those viewers go,

yes! I love. Because they are very, very different.

Cheers, David. And Myleene, how difficult is it

to sing and dance at the same time?

It doesn't always come naturally when it comes to singing and dancing.

You get a person who can sing better than they can dance and vice versa.

So keep on practising even though you think you've got it.

Nerves suddenly kick in if they are in an unusual environment.

Doing anything on a stage like this in front of a crowd,

with the lights going on, and the cameras, knowing you're live,

it changes the dynamics from singing in your bedroom with a hairbrush

or in your garage. Even in a rehearsal space.

So anyone who says they can do both, it's a real gift

and even they have to work at it.

So if you're not naturally inclined to be able to do both,

you have to work until it becomes muscle memory.

You just hear that track and you're doing it.

-Practice is the key.

-Sisco, what did you think to the choreography?

I'm relieved that every single Glee Club stuck to the song.

Because sometimes the choreographers get too adventurous

and the song is doing one thing, the choreography is doing another.

It needs to marinate. Every single glee club did that very well today.

All right. And Carrie? Final word from the head judge?

Following up from what Myleene said, the nerves here today.

And also, when you are competing, you think, they were so good before us.

We've seen what they're like in rehearsals.

Unbelievable nerves. Some stood and did well, and some fell a little.

With some people, you were like, I wish they had brought more today.

But they are so diverse. That's what I love about these five finalists.

There is really something for everyone.

We are not judging the songs, we are judging the Glee Club.

All of today's acts have been going the extra mile for Sport Relief.

to help people who really need it here in the UK

and in the UK's poorest countries.

Recently, we met a brilliant young girl from Hull

and found out how the money you raise really does make a difference.

Sport Relief money is funding over 1,300 projects in the UK.

We went to Hull to see how money is being spent there.

We are here in Hull to meet a special girl called Shauna.

And see how Sport Relief funding has helped her.

Shauna is like most 11-year-old girls.

She's at secondary school, loves One Direction,

and is a huge fan of Hull FC rugby league team.

But her life can sometimes be quite different to other children

as Shauna is a carer to her mum Kerry.

All right, Shauna, tell us about your lovely mum.

My mum has got multiple sclerosis, which is an illness that

affects the muscles and makes her really tired and get her down.

I mainly help my mum with the cooking and the washing up

and I help with the injections and getting things ready for her.

She does put herself down a bit

because she does a lot more than what she makes out.

She also sleeps downstairs.

I sleep on the recliner and Shauna sleeps on the settee.

She is always the first one to say I am staying downstairs with mum.

-And she stays downstairs every night.

-Wow, that is amazing.

Now, it's obvious that Shauna is a great support to her mom.

And there is a place that is a great support to Shauna, too.

Hessle Road Network is a community-run organisation

that delivers a wide range of services to young people like Shauna.

They have a fantastic youth project running activities including

arts and crafts, dancing, and sports.

Support is provided through project workers like Susan Cairns

who is Sport Relief funded and works with the group that Shauna attends.

Shauna has developed her confidence

since I have been working with her. She is lovely to work with.

And she receives one-to-one mentoring from me.

It is just any issues that are concerning her anywhere.

She is a breath of fresh air. When we met her, we were like, yeah.

-You're really bad at this!

-I need to stop doing that.

It's obvious how important Hessle Road network is to young people

like Shauna.

It's a place where they can have fun and where have someone to talk to.

And through the Sport Relief mile,

your money will continue to help projects just like this one.

Hurray!

Now, as we know, Shauna is a massive rugby fan

and we have set up a surprise for her.

So we are just about to play is very important game of dodgeball.

But Shauna, we've got everyone on our team, you've got nobody on your team.

Yeah. So we got a little bit of a surprise for you.
