Hi, I'm Dani and today I'm in Berkshire

to surprise an 11-year-old girl

who needs my help to swap her casual style

for something extra special for an important party.

Hi, I'm Bronwyn and I'm 11.

I live with my mum, my brother and my dad.

It's my dad's birthday party tomorrow and I don't know what to wear

cos I want to wear something I haven't worn for a while or something new.

I know Bronwyn wants to dress up

so any help that she can get to look great would be fantastic.

Bronwyn goes for really casual types of clothes.

She wears leggings daily and just puts her usual tops.

Bronwyn might be unsure of a new look right now,

but I know just how to give her confidence to try out new looks and share them with the world.

But first I need to meet Bronwyn face-to-face. I'm a bit nervous cos she has no idea I'm coming.

So I'm going to sneak round the side. Wish me luck!

-Huh!

-Hey, guys! Hello!

You must be Bronwyn, right?

So, I hear you've got a special party coming up, what is it?

It's my dad's 40th birthday party.

And you need an outfit, right?

-Yeah.

-Do you mind if I help you?

-Nope.

-Cool! Let's sit down and talk about it, then.

It'd be really nice to see Bronwyn in some dresses and skirts

cos she'd look really good in them.

She's got a blue and spotty dress that really did look nice on her,

but she doesn't wear it any more.

I never see her in a dress or shorts or a skirt or anything.

-Have you got any ideas what you'd like to wear?

-A dress and some leggings,

cos I don't normally wear dresses.

I think I know what the problem is - you're neglecting half of your wardrobe

cos you're so used to wearing your casual stuff.

I reckon if we go in and try a load of stuff and see what works and what doesn't,

I think we can come up with a great outfit for your dad's party.

-Yeah.

-Cool.

-Shall we head on up there?

-Yeah.

Wow! You have THE neatest wardrobe I have ever seen in my life.

I think we need to get you, missus, out of your comfort zone. What do you reckon?

-Yeah.

-So I think we should make a pile. A pile of stuff that you don't normally wear, but like.

Then keep all the stuff that you wear all the time still in here.

I don't normally wear nice dresses,

like some of them.

Oh, OK. Why? It's so beautiful!

We have pulled out loads of really great clothes,

so I think we should get you trying them on and make sure you feel comfortable.

-Yeah.

I am absolutely loving that, and I tell you what,

the best way to build your confidence up

So first we went for a funky casual look.

If you mix and match patterns

make sure the colours complement each other.

Don't be afraid to have fun with footwear.

I think it was really good. I'd love to see her in that sort of thing more often.

It looked really good on her. I couldn't believe it was my sister!

The second look was party glam.

Bright pinks with tropical turquoise.

Be bold with bright print pumps.

-So which one are we going to choose? What do you reckon, Adam?

-Which one will you choose?

-Both looked great, but number two.

Couldn't agree with you more. I'll go and tell her.

So, this is the chosen outfit. What do you reckon?

I really like it. It's really summery.

It's really cool and cool for a party, as well.

Today's been awesome cos I've had all my friends and family here

and I feel a lot more confident in dresses.
