Today, we'll be zooming off

to meet a Let's-Goer with some out-of-this-world scooter tricks.

Basketball player Andrew will teach us

a super skill you can impress your friends with.

And dance group Aim Sky High

will be showing off their amazing street-dance moves!

Hi, I'm Charlie, I'm eight years old,

and my favourite things to do is riding my bike,

playing cricket with my friends, and I really like watching wrestling.

But there's one thing that I love doing the most - riding my scooter.

-Got any homework, Charlie?

-No.

-OK.

'As soon as I come home from school, I get my scooter gear together

'and head off to the skate park to train.

'I got my first scooter when I was four years old,

'and I used to ride it to nursery school.

'Since then, I've never been without it.'

Scootering is tricky, and you can get hurt. I wear a helmet.

And knee pads.

And elbow pads.

Sometimes I wear bum pads!

Come with me. I will show you where I ride my scooter.

'I go around the world and ride in competitions,

'and I won my first ever competition when I was six years old.

'I want to be the best scooter rider ever.'

To make sure I never miss a trick,

I have to practise loads here at the skate park.

'It's really fun, and everyone is friendly.

'We like to show our tricks to each other,

'and we try and see who's the highest, fastest and most daring.

'Sometimes it takes ages to get a trick right.

'Or sometimes it can be really easy. It just depends.'

The most fun thing about riding a scooter

is that you don't have to walk.

You can just keep going and going and going!

All you have to do is put your foot down and push.

'Scootering is pretty cool.

'This was the first trick I ever learnt. It's called a 360 spin.

'It took me two weeks to get it just right.'

Now I can do tricks like this.

Today, I'll be showing these guys how fun riding a scooter is.

I'll show you, too.

'It's really important to me,

'because I love to see other children learning to ride.

'We went round the whole course, and they really enjoyed it.

'Then I showed them one of my tricks. This is called the fly.

'Riding around on a scooter is so much fun.'

just like Robin here. Way to glow!

Evelyn made her lamp with help from her mummy.

Rainey has gone for purple and blue lava. Cool!

Emily and Katie had great fun making their orange lamp.

Zak was super-excited to make his gloopy lava.

Lucy is really in the pink with hers.

And Tilly has made her own version of

a lava lamp using raisins and lemonade!

They're floating up and down.

This is Eddie proudly showing off

the broad bean he's grown in his seedy-case greenhouse.

And Hannah and Sam have been trying out marbling to print amazing

patterns on paper.

I love seeing the brilliant things you get up to outside the clubhouse.

Now, I want to show you something brilliant IN the clubhouse.

DANCE MUSIC PLAYS

You guys are brilliant dancers! How do you get to be

-such good street dancers?

-Well, we have to do a lot of exercise.

We have to do star jumps and we have to do press-ups

and plank and we have to work a lot harder.

That is a lot of exercise,

but it's worth it, isn't it?

I've also heard you guys have won some awards. What have you won?

We've won European champions and we came first place.

And we also won World and we came sixth.

-You came sixth in the whole world?!

-Yeah.

I loved those moves you were doing.

So, Anneya, do you think you can teach me some of those moves?

-Yeah, definitely.

-Great.

-Right, let's go.

that you like telling people that you find important, isn't there?

I wanted to talk about people's disabilities

and how they get over their disabilities.

And Charlie, what was your favourite thing

about doing the radio report?

-The microphone.

-So you liked using the microphone?

I liked how the little bits were very powerful.

Was there anything you had to remember to do

-when you were using it?

-Don't touch it or put your lips near it.

You couldn't touch it or hold it too closely to your mouth.

They are really good tips.

Well, you've both done a fantastic job,

and as you're both pros, I think we should hear from you now.

It's called the crisscross combo. It looks a little bit like this.

-Cool, right?

That is so cool. That is amazing.

I know it looks pretty tricky,

but I've got a part that I think you guys could master.

-Do you want to give it a go?

-Yes.

-Awesome!

So, I've got three simple steps.

The first step is you need to put the ball onto the ground.

Cross your arms, pick the ball up,

make sure your thumbs are pointing down, pick the ball up.

That's step one. Step two, you need to throw the ball into the air,

use your elbows to catch it, just like this.

-Yes!

-Oh, good job!

All right. Now, it's been hard, but we've got to make sure we look good.

There we go, slick eyebrows, make sure your hairdo's on point.

Excellent, here we are. Now - final step,

all you have to do is throw the ball up, cross your arms and catch.

Good job! Now, all you need to do is throw the ball up into the air,

by your side, and that is the crisscross combo.

-Guys, would you like to have another go at that?

-Yes!

Yes, OK, then. Let's go.

All right, shall we go from step one?

Ball on the ground, cross your hands. Pick the ball up.

Step two, throw the ball into the air. Catch it in your elbows.

Good job. Check the hairdo.

Slick your eyebrows. Make sure you're looking good.

Now, step three, throw the ball up,

cross your arms and catch.

-Oh, nicely done.

-Not bad. Oh, good job.

Once you've got it with your arms crossed,

you're going to throw the ball into the air,

catch it in your hands, then by your side,

and that is the crisscross combo.
