Today, we're growing seeds in recycled CD cases.

Let's Goer Leo shows us his fast fingers on the piano.

We'll be making lots of noise with our clapping game.

And we'll be finding out about Eid with a special song.

Hi, I'm Leo and I'm eight years old.

I have two pet dogs and I really like playing with them.

I also like to build things with my building blocks.

And I really like swimming with my friends.

But there's one thing I love doing the most - playing my piano.

I started playing the piano

because my mum said that I had too much energy.

I think she thought I might mess up our house because I was

always running and jumping around.

When I started, my grandma helped me to learn things like this.

After lots of practice, I could play things like this.

I love going to school.

My favourite lessons are science and maths.

But one of the best things is that I also get to play piano here too.

When I get home, I really like to play with my little brother, Alex.

He likes to watch me play the piano too,

and he sometimes tries to join in.

I'm really lucky, because I get to travel all around the world

and play in lots of different countries.

So I have to pack all the things that I need in my suitcase.

It's a good job that I don't need to fit my piano in here too.

My mum helps me to pack.

I'm going to do a video diary so you can come with me.

I have to go to the airport and catch a plane.

Hi, New York! Here I am.

That's me on the stage, playing.

I never get nervous when I go on stage. It's too exciting.

Wow, that was so much fun, but I'm really happy to be home again.

There are so many brilliant things about playing the piano,

but the best thing is making people happy.

Especially my little brother.

I'm Leo and this is what I do.

We're going to be growing seeds inside CD cases.

Are you up for that, you both? KIDS: Yes!

OK, so first, we need an empty CD case

like Briana's or Freddie's here.

We're going to lay it out flat on the table.

So, what's next? We need to put the water in the soil. Absolutely.

Freddie, would you mind doing that for me?

You need to remember just to pour a little bit to make it damp.

Fantastic. Then we need to get stuck in. What does it feel like, Freddie?

It feels really damp. Damp and ucky.

Next, we're going to fill up just the bottom half of this CD case,

cos we want to be able to see your beans growing.

The next step is we're going to put in our broad bean.

So you can use any seeds you like,

but we, today, are using broad beans.

Make sure you put your broad bean at the top of the damp soil.

Before we put it in, we're going to make sure that our broad bean

is frowning and not smiling. Let's see those frowns, both of you.

Mm. Let's see those happy faces.

The reason we put in our broad beans frowning is to make sure

the roots grow down into the soil.

Fantastic.

Close up our cases. We're going to close it by putting sticky tape

around three sides of our case.

It's very important that we only do the left,

bottom and right-hand side.

The reason we put soil in the bottom half

is because the top half of this case is a gap.

This is where we're going to water our bean so that it can grow.

Stick down that side to make sure when you're watering your beans,

it doesn't escape. Are you all finished, Briana? Mm-hmm.

Do you want to hold your case up?

Here we go. Look at that! Where are your beans?

My bean's over here.

There it is.

All we need to do now is stick your background on to your CD case

with some sticky tape and wait for your plant to appear.

Remember that gap you left at the top?

That's where we're going to water our seed with some drops each day.

Make sure that you leave your CD cases somewhere

with plenty of light. Now it's time to wash our mucky hands. Come on.

There are plenty of green fingers this week, like Alice,

who has been busy growing tasty beans, tomatoes and cucumbers.

Aidan has planted and watered his neat and tidy flower garden.

Caitlin has drawn some flowers and stuck on real flower stems

and cotton wool clouds.

Nathanial likes to dance, dance, dance. What funky feet! Matilda has

made an Olympic Stadium, complete with flags and medals,

all ready for the Rio Paralympics.

Joyce, Oliver and Chloe have made this brilliant cardboard pony

called Poppet.

Jack is ready and raring to go bodyboarding on holiday in Cornwall.

Insiya is enjoying a lovely last summer day at the beach.

Axum, how long have you been playing for? Two years.

Two years?! That's a long time. Tell me a bit more about this pan.

They were invented in the 1930s in Trinidad and Tobago

out of old barrel drums. I see. What's with all of these bubbles?

They're notes which have been tuned by some people.

They use hammers and chisels to make different sounds.

How do you know where the low notes and where the high notes are?

Because the lower notes have bigger bubbles

and the higher notes have smaller bubbles. Could I have a go?

Yep. Thanks.

Millie was inspired by our beach art.

She made her name from things she found on the beach.

Anya has collected shells and seaweed

to create this cool underwater picture.

Isabel and Tamsin have made their own beach

from bits and pieces they found at home, and sand from the beach too.

Hassa decorated some pine cones that she brought back from her holiday.

Freya and Holly went on a boat trip. They were so excited!

Cecile has filled her bird feeder,

so her feathered friends don't go hungry.

Alexander and Sophie have made cardboard-tube moths

after they found an elephant hawk-moth on holiday.

This is Rosie. She loves bouncing on her mini trampoline

when it's rainy outside.

Jose couldn't resist a ride on this terrific tree trunk tractor.

Bethan is being super brave riding this tree top zip wire.

I'm going to keep practising with my friends.

We're going to form a band called The 3 As, aren't we? Yep. Yes.

While we do that, let's check in with Tallulah and her friends

to find out what they've been up to. It's We Did This.

I'm Tallulah. These are my friends,

Lacey, Kyra, Lacey and Alisha.

We like finding out about other religions.

So Alicia is going to tell us what families do at Eid al-Adha.

When it's Eid al-Adha, people put on their best clothes to go to mosque.

And sometimes paint their hands with henna to make them look nice.

I've already got henna on my hands,

but I'm going to show these guys how much fun it is.

Let's get painting.

This henna is all natural and not bad for us.

We're using stencils to make patterns.

We have to fill in all the gaps.

We have to keep it on until it dries.

I like everyone's patterns because they're all nice and different.

Some are big and some are small. They're all very pretty.

Another thing people do at Eid is have a special feast.

Family and friends come over to visit.

And share lots of delicious food.

There's samosas...

..biryani...

..chicken...

and there's a special dish called seviyan, which is nice and sweet.

We like sharing with our friends.

So we did this.
