We've only got a few minutes, so get ready for more fun

from the Let's Go Club.

I'm Cuba and I'm seven years old.

I've been for a walk and now I'm heading home.

I live on this canal boat with my mummy and daddy,

my sister Mia and my cats Tabby and Slinky.

I've always lived on this boat.

This is the front room.

This is Mia's and mine's drawing.

And that's the doll house.

And we're going to go in the kitchen.

This is where we make some food, like soup.

And this is all the fruit.

Now we're going to go through to the bedrooms.

This is my bed, this is where all my toys are hanging up.

The best thing of living on a boat is moving around.

Most days there's something new to see.

Put that in there. Really gently. I'll help you.

'I like cooking with my mum.

'Today, we're making gingerbread men.'

Really squish it.

'I love getting my fingers messy.

'And cutting out the shapes.'

Push it down really hard.

'Our cooker is a bit like a fire. It burns wood to make things hot

'and it's always running, so it's nice and warm in the winter.

'As we live on the canal, we don't have a big back garden,

'but I don't mind.

'Because sometimes we moor our boat right next to the park.

'So I get to run around there.

'Today, me and Mia are having a race.'

Hey!

'I love wildlife.

'I get to see lots of animals here on the canal.

'Now I'm going pond dipping in the stream.

'We're using a net and a glass to look at things in the water.'

Look, see, stop there, Mia. Look right in front of you

in the shallow bit. Do you see them?

Come and have a look, Cuba, quick!

'And we found a tadpole.

'One day it will turn into a frog.'

Well done.

'Outside our boat, we grow flowers and herbs.'

Needs some more water.

'And I help look after them.

'I love watering the flowers and seeing them grow.'
