We Love to Ballet Dance! The Let's Go Club

This is The Let's Go Club - but mini!

Expect making, exploring, supersizing, dancing,

fact-finding and laughing.

We've only got a few minutes, so get ready for some more fun

from The Let's Go Club.

-Hi, I'm Max.

-And I'm Luca.

-BOTH:

-We're twins!

We really love playing in the garden

with our little brother Otto.

We like jumping on our trampoline.

I play the trumpet.

And I play the violin.

But mostly we like to do things together.

Especially ballet dancing.

Welcome to the boys' dorm.

We share our bedroom with our older brother Joel.

Luca is very tidy.

But I like to be a bit messy.

When we're dancing, we have to wear a white T-shirt,

blue ballet shorts,

white socks and black ballet shoes.

We first started dancing when we were three years old.

We come to this ballet class every Saturday.

PIANO MUSIC PLAYS

-TEACHER:

-Thank you very much.

And skip, two, three, four, knees up.

We start by skipping around the room to warm up.

We really like skipping.

Keep going.

We have to use our whole bodies when we're doing ballet.

So it takes a lot of practice.

Dancing is great, because we love moving to the music.

Step together, step. Hop.

This step is called the polka.

Again.

And we have to be good at doing the moves

the same way every time.

Last one! Finish.

Thank you very much, everybody.

We can do a move called echappe saute.

Prepare.

We have to jump in and out on the spot.

It's quite tricky to land the same way every time.

And fin-ish.

Well done.

We also love learning new routines.

Carry on.

We get to run around the room pretending to fly.

I like to be a dragonfly.

And I like to be an aeroplane.

Skip to the pond!

And give some bread to the ducks.

Ballet tells a story.

So we have to be actors...

when we're dancing, too.

Pick up that basket. And finish your dance.
