I think I'm looking forward to the very first moment | 0:00:09 | 0:00:15
when we walk out on stage and we just experience the fans. | 0:00:15 | 0:00:20
When the lights come up, the very first, | 0:00:20 | 0:00:23
very first moment that the fans are going to see us because they have | 0:00:23 | 0:00:26
no idea how much we appreciate them | 0:00:26 | 0:00:29
and how much they actually mean to us. | 0:00:29 | 0:00:31
The Mall Tour last year, we were expecting 500 kids at each city | 0:00:32 | 0:00:36
and we walk in and there's like 1,200 kids, 2,200 kids. | 0:00:36 | 0:00:41
Like, 3,000, 5,000 kids. We were blown away. | 0:00:41 | 0:00:45
Today is the day. | 0:00:45 | 0:00:47
Today we are in St John's, Newfoundland, | 0:00:47 | 0:00:49
and we are having our very first show. | 0:00:49 | 0:00:52
Of our first ever Next Step Live tour. | 0:00:52 | 0:00:55
It's super, super exciting. | 0:00:55 | 0:00:57
-I'm very anxious. -I'm kind of overwhelmed. | 0:00:57 | 0:00:59
I'm getting emotional. | 0:01:01 | 0:01:03
And I'm excited. | 0:01:03 | 0:01:05
I'm a little bit nervous but I think my excitement overpowers that | 0:01:05 | 0:01:07
and it's just going to be amazing. | 0:01:07 | 0:01:09
I think it's going to be pretty epic | 0:01:09 | 0:01:11
because the venue we're in is huge and | 0:01:11 | 0:01:14
the stage is massive. We're going to have so much space to tumble and do, | 0:01:14 | 0:01:18
like, big tricks and stuff. | 0:01:18 | 0:01:19
It's going to be crazy, I can't wait. | 0:01:19 | 0:01:21
We've done a whole bunch of preparations, rehearsals, | 0:01:21 | 0:01:25
tech runs and today's actually the first day that we get to | 0:01:25 | 0:01:28
go on stage and perform in front of all the fans. | 0:01:28 | 0:01:30
I'm just excited for that first moment where we walk | 0:01:30 | 0:01:33
out on stage and see, like, the entire crowd and the screaming. | 0:01:33 | 0:01:38
I know my adrenaline will go up | 0:01:38 | 0:01:40
and all of a sudden we'll start killing the dance. | 0:01:40 | 0:01:42
I feel like, in that moment, it just really, | 0:01:42 | 0:01:46
really reminds me of how truly blessed | 0:01:46 | 0:01:48
and grateful I am for everything that I've accomplished so far. | 0:01:48 | 0:01:51
One, two, three, The Next Step. | 0:01:51 | 0:01:53

CHEERING | 0:04:41 | 0:04:43
As you can see, it's a very rainy day here in St John's. | 0:04:50 | 0:04:54
Today is definitely not the day for the beach but we went. | 0:04:54 | 0:04:58
We did manage to get to Middle Cove Beach | 0:04:58 | 0:05:01
and see the furthest east point we're ever going to be on the tour. | 0:05:01 | 0:05:06
I've never experienced anything like it. | 0:05:09 | 0:05:11
It was freezing cold and windy as ever. | 0:05:11 | 0:05:14
It was beautiful, even in the rain. | 0:05:18 | 0:05:20
I can only imagine how beautiful it would be with the sun | 0:05:20 | 0:05:22
and warm weather. | 0:05:22 | 0:05:24
I threw the rocks. I wanted to see how far I could throw the rocks. | 0:05:27 | 0:05:30
I tried to skip some rocks. | 0:05:30 | 0:05:32
You don't get to see a lot of those kind of rocks where we're from. | 0:05:32 | 0:05:35
I mean, we're from the city, so you | 0:05:35 | 0:05:36
don't see any of that stuff very often. | 0:05:36 | 0:05:38
Guys, I'm pretty sure we found an olive. I'm almost certain. | 0:05:38 | 0:05:42
At the beach, you have to take a few selfies, | 0:05:42 | 0:05:45
so, yes, we took some selfies and some group shots. | 0:05:45 | 0:05:48
Guys, I want to take a picture. You got it? | 0:05:48 | 0:05:51
At least pull your hoods back, so we can see who's who. | 0:05:51 | 0:05:53
We were trying to take pictures | 0:05:53 | 0:05:55
and you can't even see half of our faces because | 0:05:55 | 0:05:57
our hoods are up and we're, like, trying to smile | 0:05:57 | 0:06:00
and, like, get in the frame of the camera. | 0:06:00 | 0:06:02
Newfoundland on three. One, two, three. | 0:06:02 | 0:06:05
Newfoundland. | 0:06:05 | 0:06:06
It's really rainy! | 0:06:08 | 0:06:09
I picked up a really cool stone, actually. | 0:06:10 | 0:06:13
I'm going to bring it with me all the way to Vancouver | 0:06:13 | 0:06:16
and maybe like trade it off. | 0:06:16 | 0:06:17
Drop one there, bring one back with me. | 0:06:17 | 0:06:19
So I think it's going to be cool. | 0:06:19 | 0:06:21
It was extraordinary, all of the mountains and the water | 0:06:23 | 0:06:27
and, even though it is raining, it was still really, really nice | 0:06:27 | 0:06:30
and a nice moment for all of us as a team to | 0:06:30 | 0:06:34
kind of take in where we are and what exactly we're doing here. | 0:06:34 | 0:06:38
-OK, ready? -One, two, three. | 0:06:38 | 0:06:42
To get ready for this tour, we've done a lot of prep work. | 0:06:54 | 0:06:57
I mean, it's just mostly rehearsals. | 0:06:57 | 0:06:59
Like, we've been rehearsing this past month. | 0:06:59 | 0:07:02
# Na-na na-na na-na-na... # | 0:07:02 | 0:07:05
A lot of review and we've also | 0:07:05 | 0:07:06
come up with a whole bunch of new routines | 0:07:06 | 0:07:09
and stuff like that for the fans to see. | 0:07:09 | 0:07:11
It's been a lot of work. | 0:07:13 | 0:07:14
Rehearsals was a lot for us. | 0:07:14 | 0:07:16
We learned so many dances in such a short amount of time. | 0:07:16 | 0:07:19
And just running through the show every day continuously | 0:07:25 | 0:07:28
and, like, doing it full-out without an audience was, like, hard for us | 0:07:28 | 0:07:32
and I feel like, with the audience, | 0:07:32 | 0:07:34
it's going to be a little bit easier. | 0:07:34 | 0:07:36
Before a show we just like to warm up and get together as a group. | 0:07:42 | 0:07:46
Do some stretching and stuff. | 0:07:46 | 0:07:48
In a typical warm-up, we start with a little cardio, like jogging, | 0:07:48 | 0:07:51
jumping jacks, that kind of stuff. | 0:07:51 | 0:07:53
Sometimes I lead it, sometimes other people lead it. | 0:07:57 | 0:07:59
Er, Jordan actually lead it the other day | 0:07:59 | 0:08:01
and that was pretty intense. | 0:08:01 | 0:08:03
You know, we're all from different studios, so everyone | 0:08:05 | 0:08:08
has, like, different exercises that they do in their warm-up. | 0:08:08 | 0:08:11
So when each person gets to lead their warm-up, it's cool to see | 0:08:11 | 0:08:16
the way each person has trained and, you know, what they focus on. | 0:08:16 | 0:08:20
Is it the breath you're putting into the stretching or is it the, | 0:08:20 | 0:08:24
you know, the alignment of your body, making sure you're | 0:08:24 | 0:08:27
stretching the proper muscles or is that the conditioning? | 0:08:27 | 0:08:30
I remember the first day we had rehearsals, | 0:08:31 | 0:08:33
Jenny did abs with us and we were dead. | 0:08:33 | 0:08:36
Jenny got up she was like, "OK, let's go." | 0:08:36 | 0:08:39
We were all like beat on the ground, like, my stomach | 0:08:39 | 0:08:42
was like throbbing it hurt so much. | 0:08:42 | 0:08:45
Warm-ups before we do the show, they're pretty intense. | 0:08:45 | 0:08:47
I love them, actually, because it makes sure that we're nice | 0:08:47 | 0:08:50
and warmed up, it keeps us in shape throughout the whole tour. | 0:08:50 | 0:08:52
So I'm really looking forward to being in top shape once this | 0:08:52 | 0:08:55
tour is done. | 0:08:55 | 0:08:57
So my solo in the show is called Showstoppa. | 0:08:57 | 0:09:00
It's from season two of The Next Step. | 0:09:01 | 0:09:03
It's the solo that I performed at Nationals | 0:09:03 | 0:09:05
and I love it. It's so high energy and it's so much fun to do. | 0:09:05 | 0:09:10
The song is so catchy, | 0:09:10 | 0:09:12
so every single time I perform my solo I come off stage | 0:09:12 | 0:09:15
and everyone else on the cast is singing my song and I'm just like, | 0:09:15 | 0:09:18
"Ugh, stop singing it because I already have to hear it enough." | 0:09:18 | 0:09:21
# When we hear that beat... # | 0:09:21 | 0:09:23
I have a blast when I dance. Dance is kind of an escape for me. | 0:09:25 | 0:09:29
So if I am smiling on stage, it's not false, it's really true. | 0:09:29 | 0:09:33
Because I just love it so much, it just makes me feel really happy | 0:09:33 | 0:09:36
and, you know, especially on tour, | 0:09:36 | 0:09:38
seeing all the kids smiling at us, it just makes me smile even bigger. | 0:09:38 | 0:09:42
So, yeah, I have a lot of fun when I'm on stage. | 0:09:42 | 0:09:45
# Fierce | 0:09:47 | 0:09:49

Michelle, you're in the way. | 0:11:43 | 0:11:46
-Her name's Victoria. -Her name is Victoria? | 0:11:46 | 0:11:49
-I like calling you guys by your character names. -OK, Riley. | 0:11:49 | 0:11:53
Don't call me Riley! Kidding. Don't do it to me. | 0:11:53 | 0:11:56
I don't think I look like a Michelle. | 0:11:56 | 0:11:58
-I don't think I look like an Amanda. -Yeah, you do. | 0:11:58 | 0:12:02
No, I don't see a Logan. | 0:12:02 | 0:12:04
-What? That's my name. -I know, I don't see it for you, though. | 0:12:04 | 0:12:07
-I see you differently. -I was supposed to be named Raquel. | 0:12:07 | 0:12:10
I was supposed to be Alexandra. | 0:12:10 | 0:12:12
I'm supposed to be named Lauren. | 0:12:12 | 0:12:13
-Really? -Yeah. -You don't look like a Lauren. -I like Lauren much better. | 0:12:13 | 0:12:18
-Really? Than Victoria? -I don't think it suits me. | 0:12:18 | 0:12:20
What about the boys? Who's been helping with the boys... look good? | 0:12:20 | 0:12:24
-They don't have to do anything. -We pluck Trevor's unibrow sometimes. | 0:12:24 | 0:12:27
Wow, exclusive. | 0:12:27 | 0:12:30
Exposing everyone. | 0:12:30 | 0:12:31
Flaws, like bathroom things, nobody wants to know. | 0:12:31 | 0:12:34
Nine weeks is a long time, so it will be | 0:12:34 | 0:12:36
interesting to see how we all work together and live together. | 0:12:36 | 0:12:39
I'd be lying if I said that there aren't going to be little | 0:12:39 | 0:12:42
arguments and we're not going to get sick of each other a little bit. | 0:12:42 | 0:12:45
Hopefully none of the boys are too messy because I'm not very | 0:12:45 | 0:12:48
messy and I don't think I'll be able to deal with the messiness. | 0:12:48 | 0:12:52
Actually, the girls, they get pretty messy but | 0:12:52 | 0:12:54
Myles and Lamar keep their stuff really clean. | 0:12:54 | 0:12:58
You come to our room now, everything is already folded in our suitcases. | 0:12:58 | 0:13:01
After we wear something, we'll fold it up and we have a routine. | 0:13:01 | 0:13:05
I'm going to have to work on keeping my area clean. | 0:13:05 | 0:13:09
I'm a little bit messy and so is Trevor. | 0:13:09 | 0:13:11
Definitely, I can tell you, I am the cleanest one. | 0:13:11 | 0:13:13
I actually live with Lamar and Isaac and I'm only one who cleans. | 0:13:13 | 0:13:17
I think we'll still love each other even though | 0:13:17 | 0:13:19
we might want to have some alone time sometimes. I know I will. | 0:13:19 | 0:13:24
But we definitely will get along still. | 0:13:24 | 0:13:27
Can I please have Logan and Samantha? | 0:13:27 | 0:13:30
-Whoo! -Whoo! | 0:13:30 | 0:13:31
My role on the tour is I am a substitute. | 0:13:32 | 0:13:35
OK. | 0:13:35 | 0:13:36 | |
So just in case anybody gets hurt or someone feels sick, | 0:13:36 | 0:13:40
I would replace them in the group dances. | 0:13:40 | 0:13:42
SHOUTING | 0:13:42 | 0:13:45
My role on this tour is the understudy. | 0:13:47 | 0:13:50
So if anybody gets hurt, any one of the boys gets hurt, | 0:13:50 | 0:13:53
I'm going to go on and take their place. | 0:13:53 | 0:13:56
It's a lot harder being a sub than some people think that it is | 0:13:56 | 0:13:58
because I have to learn everybody's part in everything. | 0:13:58 | 0:14:02
So, because... God forbid, Logan gets hurt | 0:14:02 | 0:14:05
or Victoria gets hurt and they do two different sections... | 0:14:05 | 0:14:08
So, in rehearsals yesterday, Victoria was getting a massage | 0:14:08 | 0:14:13
by our physiotherapist, so when we were doing the run-through of | 0:14:13 | 0:14:17
the show, there was a spot missing, therefore I had to fill in for her. | 0:14:17 | 0:14:21
Which is kind of scary but it was fun, it was cool being on the stage. | 0:14:21 | 0:14:24
# Everybody, lose control | 0:14:26 | 0:14:27
# Everybody, lose control | 0:14:27 | 0:14:29
# This dance is on fire and we own the world. # | 0:14:29 | 0:14:33
Bowling was a lot of fun last night. | 0:14:40 | 0:14:43
I never went bowling with any of the cast members, | 0:14:43 | 0:14:45
so it was cool to just have fun and just unwind and just go bowling. | 0:14:45 | 0:14:49
It was funny, because I was expecting the big bowling balls | 0:14:50 | 0:14:54
with the three holes, they're like ten pounds. | 0:14:54 | 0:14:56
We walk in, the balls are like this big and we were like, "Oh." | 0:14:56 | 0:15:00
I'm not the best bowler. | 0:15:04 | 0:15:06
I'll be honest with you, man, I kind of suck at bowling | 0:15:06 | 0:15:08
but it was fun, it kind of just made us feel like a family. | 0:15:08 | 0:15:11
SHE SCREAMS | 0:15:16 | 0:15:18
I got one! | 0:15:23 | 0:15:25
THEY CHEER | 0:15:28 | 0:15:31
We're gone for two months and we've never gone for this long | 0:15:35 | 0:15:38
period of time, so maybe someone will get homesick. | 0:15:38 | 0:15:42
I mean, maybe I will get homesick. | 0:15:42 | 0:15:44
I'm going to miss my sister, I think, the most | 0:15:44 | 0:15:47
because I live with her and being away for nine weeks is going | 0:15:47 | 0:15:50
to be crazy hard just because I usually see her almost every | 0:15:50 | 0:15:53
day and I always tell her about my day and stuff like that. | 0:15:53 | 0:15:56
I'm definitely going to miss my mom and my dad. They've always | 0:15:56 | 0:15:59
been my biggest supporters, front row to every dance show I've ever | 0:15:59 | 0:16:03
done, so it will be hard to not have them in the audience for every show. | 0:16:03 | 0:16:06
I mean, I spend every living, breathing moment with my mom | 0:16:06 | 0:16:10
and I know she's feeling it too. | 0:16:10 | 0:16:12
I've already called my mother probably about twice already. | 0:16:12 | 0:16:16
I don't go to sleep unless I call my mom. | 0:16:16 | 0:16:19
She just helps me sleep at night, to know that she's still out there | 0:16:19 | 0:16:22
somewhere. Just not with me. | 0:16:22 | 0:16:23
There's going to be some time where I'll definitely really, | 0:16:23 | 0:16:26
really miss my family. | 0:16:26 | 0:16:28
They know I love them and, I mean, smartphones, FaceTime, | 0:16:28 | 0:16:32
we've got texting. We're good. | 0:16:32 | 0:16:35
I won. So it was guys versus guys and it was girls versus girls. | 0:16:35 | 0:16:39
I won two times in a row. | 0:16:39 | 0:16:40
The two games that we played, I was number one both times, | 0:16:40 | 0:16:43
so I'm really happy about that. | 0:16:43 | 0:16:46
Injuries are constant. It's a thing, it's going to happen. It really is. | 0:16:46 | 0:16:51
You'll have like maybe a pain in your ankle or in your shoulder | 0:16:51 | 0:16:54
but we have our massage therapist and she is incredible. | 0:16:54 | 0:16:59
She somehow, like, massages the injury out of your body. | 0:16:59 | 0:17:03
In my solo, yes, I did... I did hurt my chin a couple times. | 0:17:05 | 0:17:10
They love the spider. Every single time I do it | 0:17:13 | 0:17:15
I feel like it goes quiet like, they're like, "Ohhh." | 0:17:15 | 0:17:18
I'm like, "I hope that's a good thing." | 0:17:18 | 0:17:21
In Jordan's solo, she does a lot of salsa, | 0:17:23 | 0:17:25
so we'll all go back and salsa dance with each other, look at her | 0:17:25 | 0:17:30
and she looks over in the solo, so she can see us right in the wing. | 0:17:30 | 0:17:34
We mess around with each other, you know. | 0:17:34 | 0:17:36
Competing with the boys is always a big thing for me. You know? | 0:17:36 | 0:17:41
Because they do their flips and so on but I have my flip, so... | 0:17:41 | 0:17:45
I guarantee you, if I told Jordan to become a break dancer, | 0:17:45 | 0:17:48
she'd be full-out battling, B-boys. Like, she's crazy like that. | 0:17:48 | 0:17:53
Yeah, bring it, boys, eugh! | 0:17:53 | 0:17:54
# Little princess got you running in circles | 0:18:06 | 0:18:10
# Again, you know it's me | 0:18:10 | 0:18:14
# And now you look like you're living in a circus | 0:18:14 | 0:18:17
# Oh, I know you'll see | 0:18:17 | 0:18:20
# Come here and show me all your moves | 0:18:24 | 0:18:26
# The way you bump and grove | 0:18:26 | 0:18:28
# I want to feel what you feel when you're on the floor | 0:18:28 | 0:18:32
# Babe, he's got you running round and now you're falling up and down | 0:18:32 | 0:18:35
# I can't let you see until I know what's going on and on | 0:18:35 | 0:18:41
AND THE BEAT KICKS IN | 0:18:41 | 0:18:44
# Want you to want me like I want you | 0:18:44 | 0:18:47
# Cos I know what to do | 0:18:47 | 0:18:52
# I bet you can't survive and here I'm more... | 0:18:52 | 0:18:55
# Uh-uh-uh-oh, uh-uh-uh-oh | 0:18:59 | 0:19:03
# Uh-uh-uh-oh, uh-uh-uh-oh | 0:19:07 | 0:19:11
# Little princess | 0:19:11 | 0:19:13
# Got you running in circles | 0:19:13 | 0:19:15
# Again, you know it's me | 0:19:15 | 0:19:17
# And now you look like you're living in a circus | 0:19:19 | 0:19:22
# Oh, I know you'll see | 0:19:22 | 0:19:25
# You'll see, you'll see you'll see, see, see, see... # | 0:19:25 | 0:19:29
CHEERING | 0:19:29 | 0:19:33
# Come on and take a chance and see | 0:19:37 | 0:19:40
# Where is it now? Where is it now? | 0:19:40 | 0:19:43
# Where is it now? | 0:19:44 | 0:19:46
# Where is it now? # | 0:19:46 | 0:19:48
APPLAUSE | 0:19:50 | 0:19:52
-Done! -45 more to go. -27 more cities. | 0:19:52 | 0:19:55
# From the first time that I saw you | 0:19:56 | 0:19:59
# There was something that took me by surprise | 0:19:59 | 0:20:02
# And then I fell | 0:20:02 | 0:20:03
# Oh, yeah, I fell for you...# | 0:20:03 | 0:20:08
On the bus, you're living very closely with all these people. | 0:20:08 | 0:20:12
There's the front living room. | 0:20:12 | 0:20:14
You know, we've got a couple of couches and a TV. | 0:20:14 | 0:20:16
-We've got a fridge here, fridge here. -Freezer. -Microwave. | 0:20:16 | 0:20:19
Yeah, thermostat, you need that. | 0:20:19 | 0:20:21
We all have our own bunks and then we have the... | 0:20:21 | 0:20:24
Tiny little bunks to just kind of lay in your coffin. | 0:20:25 | 0:20:29
So we've got three here, boom, one, two, three. | 0:20:29 | 0:20:31
On each side, three, three, so it's three, six, | 0:20:31 | 0:20:34
nine, twelve people can fit in this bus. | 0:20:34 | 0:20:36
-It gets kind of tight here but we only ever really sleep here. -Yeah. | 0:20:36 | 0:20:40
You know what? | 0:20:40 | 0:20:41
-The thing about the coffins is... -We're calling them coffins! | 0:20:41 | 0:20:44
..that is your own space. You know what I mean? | 0:20:44 | 0:20:46
So if you want it messy, that's fine, | 0:20:46 | 0:20:48
cos that's the only space that's yours. | 0:20:48 | 0:20:49
Much more comfortable than you would think. | 0:20:49 | 0:20:51
Actually, believe it or not. Hey, are we in the back? | 0:20:51 | 0:20:54
The back living room also has couches and a TV, so... | 0:20:54 | 0:20:57
-It's not that bad. -Yeah. | 0:20:57 | 0:20:59
Boom, boom. We make it rain in here. | 0:20:59 | 0:21:00
So here is our back lounge. | 0:21:00 | 0:21:02
This is usually where the guys kind of hang out. | 0:21:02 | 0:21:04
This is where we have, like, group movies. | 0:21:04 | 0:21:06
-Lots of movies. -Yeah. -Every night, movies, movies, movies. | 0:21:06 | 0:21:09
Oh, my gosh. | 0:21:09 | 0:21:11
What I find difficult is like not having a private space. | 0:21:11 | 0:21:14
Like, I like to read my book before I go to sleep but | 0:21:14 | 0:21:16
there's always so much happening, people are watching movies. | 0:21:16 | 0:21:20
The boys usually stay up late | 0:21:20 | 0:21:22
and talk like either in the back room of the bus or the front room. | 0:21:22 | 0:21:25
-There's been one, a couple... -I mean, you know what? | 0:21:25 | 0:21:27
..moments where we've been up too late | 0:21:27 | 0:21:29
-and we've been kind of loud but... -Yeah, yeah. | 0:21:29 | 0:21:31
So, I mean, we've had to tell them to be quiet a few times. | 0:21:31 | 0:21:34
Sometimes we'll be up at like, I don't know, really late | 0:21:34 | 0:21:38
and the girls are trying to go to bed and we're just laughing. | 0:21:38 | 0:21:40
Like the most energy, just cracking jokes. | 0:21:40 | 0:21:43
Turn the lights down, can you guys keep it down? | 0:21:43 | 0:21:45
How are you feeling? Are you blue? | 0:21:45 | 0:21:47
-Or orange? -Hmm. | 0:21:49 | 0:21:50
When all three guys are together, we get on a certain, like, speed, | 0:21:50 | 0:21:56
I guess. It doesn't stop. | 0:21:56 | 0:21:58
We just get a lot of testosterone. We just need to | 0:21:58 | 0:22:02
be like moving and cracking jokes. | 0:22:02 | 0:22:04
I do have an older brother, | 0:22:04 | 0:22:06
so I know what it's like to be around that teto... | 0:22:06 | 0:22:09
-Excuse me, I can't say it. -Testosterone. | 0:22:09 | 0:22:12
-Isaac likes to sleep back here... -Yeah. -..for some reason. | 0:22:12 | 0:22:16
Isaac sleeps until about 3.30 every day. | 0:22:16 | 0:22:19
This guy will sleep in. When I say sleep in, it's like IN. | 0:22:19 | 0:22:22
He's IN a coffin, like, literally. | 0:22:22 | 0:22:24
This is my favourite part of the whole bus. This is the washroom. | 0:22:24 | 0:22:28
-Luckily, there's been no stenches. -There's been no stenches, actually. | 0:22:28 | 0:22:31
-That is crazy. -It's pretty small. | 0:22:31 | 0:22:34
But, you know, we make it work. | 0:22:34 | 0:22:36
-Maybe the girls have a different opinion but... -Yeah. | 0:22:36 | 0:22:39
There's no showers on the bus, so we've got to shower here | 0:22:43 | 0:22:46
and we take turns. Whoo! | 0:22:46 | 0:22:47
So whoever's the smelliest, they go first. | 0:22:48 | 0:22:51
# Prime time, my time | 0:22:51 | 0:22:53
# Turn it up... # | 0:22:53 | 0:22:55
Where's my mascara? | 0:22:55 | 0:22:56
It's kind of just been like a massive slumber party | 0:22:56 | 0:22:59
with the whole cast cos we've been living together on the same bus. | 0:22:59 | 0:23:02
Jordan takes the most body showers. The most. | 0:23:02 | 0:23:05
And does not wash her hair, so... | 0:23:05 | 0:23:07
I don't want to damage it. | 0:23:07 | 0:23:09
-Jordan, cleanliness is key. -Can you guys stop arguing? | 0:23:09 | 0:23:12
I'm trying to do my hair. | 0:23:12 | 0:23:15
We've never really had that moment where | 0:23:15 | 0:23:17
we're like yelling at each other. | 0:23:17 | 0:23:18
If there's something we want to talk about we bring it up | 0:23:18 | 0:23:21
and we work through it. | 0:23:21 | 0:23:23
Guess what? Tonight's the night I'm washing my hair. | 0:23:23 | 0:23:25
Whoo! | 0:23:25 | 0:23:26 | |
Whoo! Jordan! | 0:23:27 | 0:23:30
We definitely have become closer, believe it or not, | 0:23:30 | 0:23:33
the amount of time that we spend together has really affected us. | 0:23:33 | 0:23:38
They truly, truly are like my brothers and sisters now. | 0:23:38 | 0:23:42
If they weren't before, now they for sure are. | 0:23:42 | 0:23:44
The trio that we do... Well, at first, it was actually four of us. | 0:23:53 | 0:23:56
It was myself, Zac, Trevor and Isaac but Zac's not on the tour, | 0:23:56 | 0:24:01
so we made it into a trio, it's called Never Get Lost | 0:24:01 | 0:24:03
and it was choreographed by Luther Brown. | 0:24:03 | 0:24:06
Shoot, shoot, and then you're going to bring it in. | 0:24:06 | 0:24:08
You've got to really like control that, bring it in. | 0:24:08 | 0:24:10
Stupid question, do we look at that? | 0:24:10 | 0:24:13
Look at that. That's like the power is coming out of that chest. | 0:24:13 | 0:24:16
-You feel me? -The trio is a good number for us. | 0:24:16 | 0:24:18
We like to have a number with just the guys but Luther Brown, | 0:24:18 | 0:24:20
he's a huge hip-hop choreographer, so we love to perform it | 0:24:20 | 0:24:23
for that reason because he uses different choreography for us. | 0:24:23 | 0:24:26
The thing about this is, if it feels good, trust me, it's going | 0:24:26 | 0:24:29
-to look good. -Yeah. -Yes. | 0:24:29 | 0:24:31
If it feels whack, you know what that looks like. | 0:24:31 | 0:24:33
All of us kind of really wanted to work with him and, you know, | 0:24:33 | 0:24:36
they made it happen, so it was great to get to experience that, for sure. | 0:24:36 | 0:24:40
# Twist on force | 0:24:42 | 0:24:44

-Hello, everyone. -Hello. -Hey, guys. | 0:26:15 | 0:26:17
On stage, I love speaking on the mic. I love that part of the show. | 0:26:19 | 0:26:23
It's different for us. | 0:26:23 | 0:26:25
We haven't really done, ever, performances on stages before | 0:26:25 | 0:26:29
and we've never really talked on a mic before, really, | 0:26:29 | 0:26:32
so that, I think, is probably my favourite moment of the show. | 0:26:32 | 0:26:35
They were so good. | 0:26:35 | 0:26:37
-So good. -They were great but, erm... | 0:26:37 | 0:26:40
I mean, I know I'm not a tricker, per se | 0:26:40 | 0:26:42
-but I've been working on this trick for like the past year. -OK... | 0:26:42 | 0:26:46
And I think it's going to top every one of the tricks that they just | 0:26:46 | 0:26:48
-did on the stage, so... -Really? -Wow. | 0:26:48 | 0:26:52
Well, audience, do you want to see Brittany Raymond's new trick? | 0:26:52 | 0:26:55
CHEERING | 0:26:55 | 0:26:58
Ready, Britt? | 0:26:58 | 0:27:00
Everyone, whoo, Brittany! | 0:27:00 | 0:27:01
I was actually surprised when you came out with that front roll. | 0:27:06 | 0:27:08
-My trick is amazing. -That was insane. -Yeah... | 0:27:08 | 0:27:11
-I didn't expect that from you, man. -I'm so... | 0:27:11 | 0:27:15
You killed that. | 0:27:15 | 0:27:16
Wait, wait, wait. | 0:27:18 | 0:27:20
What just happened? | 0:27:20 | 0:27:21
'Since the characters in the show are so competitive, | 0:27:21 | 0:27:23
'we thought it would be fun to have the boys get | 0:27:23 | 0:27:25
'upset at Brittany's somersault and start a competition.' | 0:27:25 | 0:27:28
THEY ARGUE | 0:27:28 | 0:27:31
Settle down. | 0:27:32 | 0:27:35
Take a moment. | 0:27:38 | 0:27:41
Audience, why don't we settle this with a friendly trick-off? | 0:27:41 | 0:27:46
CHEERING | 0:27:46 | 0:27:48
Whoa! | 0:27:55 | 0:27:56 | |
Audience, did you see that? Did you see the height that he got? | 0:27:56 | 0:28:01
How great is that? | 0:28:01 | 0:28:03
Thanks for warming up the stage. | 0:28:03 | 0:28:05
Whoo! | 0:28:09 | 0:28:10 | |
Tell me he doesn't have springs in his jeans! | 0:28:11 | 0:28:14
Can you please show them how it's done? | 0:28:14 | 0:28:16
That's right. Trevor, everybody. | 0:28:22 | 0:28:25
Guys, I've got to be honest. | 0:28:28 | 0:28:30
-It's kind of a close call. -What? | 0:28:30 | 0:28:33
-What do you mean? -Trevor, sorry. | 0:28:33 | 0:28:35
OK, OK, I have another idea. | 0:28:36 | 0:28:39
If you guys are up for it, what do you say to another round? | 0:28:39 | 0:28:42
-OK. -Yeah. | 0:28:44 | 0:28:46
Oh, my gosh! Do you see that? | 0:28:52 | 0:28:55
-OK, thank you. -I'm amazed, amazed. | 0:28:56 | 0:29:00
OK. Lamar? Lamar! | 0:29:00 | 0:29:02
Whoo! | 0:29:07 | 0:29:08 | |
OK, Brittany, Brittany. | 0:29:12 | 0:29:14
-Should I just wrap this up? -Can you please wrap this up, Trevor? | 0:29:14 | 0:29:18
Come on. | 0:29:18 | 0:29:20
Give it up, give it up. | 0:29:20 | 0:29:22
That is what I'm talking about. | 0:29:25 | 0:29:29
I think it's pretty clear who wins. | 0:29:29 | 0:29:31
Guys, you guys are incredible. | 0:29:31 | 0:29:33
-Amazing. -Yeah, they're kind of really good. | 0:29:33 | 0:29:35
OK, ladies, can we huddle over there to discuss? | 0:29:35 | 0:29:38
We're just going to talk about this for a minute. | 0:29:38 | 0:29:41
Guys, guys, you guys over here, who do you think won? | 0:29:41 | 0:29:44
Me, right? | 0:29:44 | 0:29:45
-CHEERING -Yes! | 0:29:45 | 0:29:47
Let's just be honest, guys, who do you think won? Let me hear it. | 0:29:47 | 0:29:50
CHEERING | 0:29:50 | 0:29:52
-Whoo! Hear that! -OK, OK, OK, OK. | 0:29:52 | 0:29:56
Come on, really? Left side, who won? | 0:29:56 | 0:29:59
CHEERING | 0:29:59 | 0:30:02
I think it's pretty clear who the winner is. | 0:30:04 | 0:30:07
Yeah, I know. It's me. | 0:30:07 | 0:30:08
OK, boys, I think we have a winner. | 0:30:08 | 0:30:10
It's a tough call. | 0:30:10 | 0:30:11
It was a very tough call. Logan, can you please take it away? | 0:30:12 | 0:30:15
Drumroll please, Jordan Clark. | 0:30:15 | 0:30:19
Brittany Raymond, is our winner, her front roll was just amazing. | 0:30:19 | 0:30:23
I worked so hard on that. | 0:30:23 | 0:30:25
'It's so funny, because there was one show where | 0:30:25 | 0:30:28
'I actually did the front roll on the stage' | 0:30:28 | 0:30:29
and, like, I actually hurt my neck. It's hard. | 0:30:29 | 0:30:32
-Actually, like... -It's hard. | 0:30:32 | 0:30:34
-Like, I bruised my neck. -Not everyone can do it. -I guess not. | 0:30:34 | 0:30:37
Congratulations as well, but, actually, audience, I think | 0:30:37 | 0:30:40
we're going to show them how it's done. | 0:30:40 | 0:30:43
-Is that OK? -CHEERING | 0:30:43 | 0:30:45
I love this dance. | 0:30:50 | 0:30:52
I was so excited because it's, like, my favourite dance in, | 0:30:52 | 0:30:55
like, seeing it. | 0:30:55 | 0:30:56
I remember watching and being, like, "Oh, I want to do it", | 0:30:56 | 0:30:59
-and then I got to do it. -I mean, yeah, it is a lot of fun. | 0:30:59 | 0:31:01
There is a lot of head-whipping. | 0:31:01 | 0:31:03
Yeah, I mean, you get some strains in the neck. So, um... | 0:31:03 | 0:31:06
I mean, I actually texted Jordan one day and I was like, | 0:31:06 | 0:31:08
"I think I might have whiplash." | 0:31:08 | 0:31:10
She's like, "I think I have a concussion." I'm like, "From what?" | 0:31:10 | 0:31:13
She was like, "Our trio." I was like, "Did you hit your head?" | 0:31:13 | 0:31:16
She was like, "I don't know, the amount of head whips | 0:31:16 | 0:31:18
"that are happening, I'm pretty sure I have a concussion. | 0:31:18 | 0:31:21
"I can't see straight." I'm like, "Are you OK?" | 0:31:21 | 0:31:23

So Lamar and I get to do a hip-hop / ballet mashup duet. | 0:33:14 | 0:33:19
Yeah, it's just, like, a blend of who I am as a dancer | 0:33:19 | 0:33:23
and who Lamar is as a dancer. Then we come together. | 0:33:23 | 0:33:25
-We kind of just make... -Do a dance. -Make a dance. | 0:33:25 | 0:33:30
It came from season one when Daniel and I, | 0:33:30 | 0:33:32
we had a duet where we had to combine ballet and hip-hop. | 0:33:32 | 0:33:36
You are going to choreograph a ballet routine for me, | 0:33:36 | 0:33:38
and I am going to choreograph a hip-hop routine for you. | 0:33:38 | 0:33:42
We actually got to do it on the mall tour which we did last year, so we | 0:33:42 | 0:33:46
kind of went off of what Lamar and Brennan did, | 0:33:46 | 0:33:49
but we made it more fit for us. | 0:33:49 | 0:33:52
-It's a bigger version of what we did on the mall tour. -Yeah. | 0:33:52 | 0:33:54
What we do in the show. | 0:33:54 | 0:33:55
I don't have very many tricks under my belt, | 0:33:55 | 0:33:57
but we do do synchronised backhand springs. It's very scary for me. | 0:33:57 | 0:34:02
I do not like flipping, I do not like going backwards | 0:34:02 | 0:34:04
and not knowing where my hands are going. I don't like it. | 0:34:04 | 0:34:07
-But I'm getting better at it. -She does it every single show. | 0:34:07 | 0:34:10
She does it every single show, and she hits it perfectly. | 0:34:10 | 0:34:13
Ballet and hip-hop are two completely opposite dances. | 0:34:13 | 0:34:17
It's two different worlds. It's like Vancouver and St John's. | 0:34:17 | 0:34:20
-It's like two different ends of the spectrum. -Opposite ends. | 0:34:20 | 0:34:23
Yeah, so it's cool to kind of showcase that in the same number. | 0:34:23 | 0:34:26
Yeah. | 0:34:26 | 0:34:28 | |

My favourite dance is called Smile At The End Of The World. | 0:36:19 | 0:36:23
I guess I just love the musicality in it, just the accents they hit | 0:36:25 | 0:36:29
and the swag of the choreography, the way it feels on your body. | 0:36:29 | 0:36:34
It just feels like one of those dances you can kind of chill | 0:36:34 | 0:36:38
and do some nice choreo without having to | 0:36:38 | 0:36:40
worry about lots of tricks and things like that. | 0:36:40 | 0:36:43
That's the dance I do that lift with Jordan. | 0:36:43 | 0:36:47
I guess I don't really partner with anybody but Isaac, | 0:36:47 | 0:36:50
and we do some pretty cool lifts. | 0:36:50 | 0:36:54
It looks like I'm just literally picking her up with one arm | 0:36:54 | 0:36:57
and launching her like that, but with partnering, | 0:36:57 | 0:37:00
there's always technique to it and all that. | 0:37:00 | 0:37:02
I always feel pretty cool, and secretly I make faces at Trevor | 0:37:02 | 0:37:06
and Brittany and Vic when they come in, because no-one can see my face. | 0:37:06 | 0:37:09
I'm like... | 0:37:09 | 0:37:10
They just laugh. It's a good time. These are the secrets. | 0:37:10 | 0:37:13

My daily routine is usually wake up, eat some breakfast | 0:40:17 | 0:40:20
and then chill through the day. | 0:40:20 | 0:40:22
I try and keep it, like, super normal through the day - | 0:40:22 | 0:40:24
like, check my e-mails, catch up on everything outside of the tour. | 0:40:24 | 0:40:29
If we have time before the show, we'll go, like, for a walk, | 0:40:29 | 0:40:32
to a mall, like, to watch a movie or something like that, | 0:40:32 | 0:40:34
just to get out of the venue and to experience fresh air. | 0:40:34 | 0:40:38
But after that, we'll just come in and the girls will do their make-up | 0:40:38 | 0:40:41
and the boys kind of just do whatever they want to do. | 0:40:41 | 0:40:44
Then usually we go on the stage at around 4. | 0:40:45 | 0:40:48
Then headspace goes into the show, "Let's do this, let's have fun." | 0:40:51 | 0:40:54
Then we do, like, a mic check. | 0:40:58 | 0:40:59
What's up, Victoria?! | 0:40:59 | 0:41:06
A little stage rehearsal, get used to the space. | 0:41:06 | 0:41:10
Then we always do a huddle before a show, always. | 0:41:10 | 0:41:14
-ALL: -One, two three - let's dance! | 0:41:14 | 0:41:17
It happens pretty quickly. | 0:41:17 | 0:41:19
Before we know it, we're on stage performing | 0:41:19 | 0:41:21
and then we're on the bus heading to the next city. It all goes by. | 0:41:21 | 0:41:24
Yeah, our days are literally just a flash. | 0:41:24 | 0:41:26
-Let's go to bed. -Pizza first, pizza first. | 0:41:28 | 0:41:30
Pizza and then bed, because we have two more shows. | 0:41:30 | 0:41:34
Pizza! | 0:41:34 | 0:41:35
Whoo! | 0:41:35 | 0:41:36 | |
There's been so many cities I can't even remember where exactly | 0:41:39 | 0:41:44
these things happen. | 0:41:44 | 0:41:45
Well, we've done the show.... I don't know where... | 0:41:45 | 0:41:48
We're travelling every single day, | 0:41:48 | 0:41:50
and I can't remember which one is which. | 0:41:50 | 0:41:52
There were times when I'd wake up on the bus, get off the bus, | 0:41:52 | 0:41:55
get into the venue, not know what city I'm in, what time zone it is. | 0:41:55 | 0:41:58
-Where are we? Oh, OK, that's where we are. -What day is it? | 0:41:58 | 0:42:01
When we talk about Montreal, I'm like, | 0:42:01 | 0:42:03
"Wait, which one was Montreal?" | 0:42:03 | 0:42:05
I don't remember that. | 0:42:05 | 0:42:06
-We have to, like, say... -Was that the one with the two... | 0:42:06 | 0:42:10
-Yes, the two theatres. -Oh! -See? Like that. | 0:42:10 | 0:42:13
Got it. | 0:42:13 | 0:42:14
# Let's go out to see... # | 0:42:14 | 0:42:17
Luckily, we have gotten some chances | 0:42:17 | 0:42:20
to actually go out into the cities that we're in | 0:42:20 | 0:42:22
and see some of the things that the city has to offer. | 0:42:22 | 0:42:25
-OK, what do you guys want to do? -Let's all go to the mall. | 0:42:25 | 0:42:27
Let's go to the mall, let's go out and go to a movie. | 0:42:27 | 0:42:29
Let's all go, you know, to dinner. | 0:42:29 | 0:42:31
It was really cool for me, personally, | 0:42:33 | 0:42:35
to kind of be in a place where I've never personally done a show before. | 0:42:35 | 0:42:41
I never did a show in Montreal. | 0:42:41 | 0:42:43
To go to Montreal, people that talk a completely different language, | 0:42:43 | 0:42:46
to go to the show and understand what we're saying | 0:42:46 | 0:42:48
and laugh at our jokes, you know, | 0:42:48 | 0:42:50
I think Montreal was definitely one of my favourite ones for sure. | 0:42:50 | 0:42:53
-Kitchener was huge. -Vancouver. -Saskatoon was huge. | 0:42:53 | 0:42:56
-London was huge. -London was huge. | 0:42:56 | 0:42:57
-Red Deer. -Red Deer. -Sudbury. -Sudbury. | 0:42:57 | 0:43:00
-Medicine Hat. -Medicine Hat, yeah. | 0:43:00 | 0:43:02
Winnipeg. Was it Winnipeg? No, Saskatoon. | 0:43:02 | 0:43:04
Saskatoon. | 0:43:04 | 0:43:06
-Vancouver was amazing. -Vancouver was incredible. | 0:43:06 | 0:43:09
I'll probably always remember Vancouver. | 0:43:11 | 0:43:14
Vancouver was beautiful. | 0:43:14 | 0:43:16
Same with Banff. Banff, that was insane. | 0:43:16 | 0:43:18
-Banff was crazy. -Yeah, that was beautiful. | 0:43:18 | 0:43:20
It's nice to have a day off and actually just realise | 0:43:20 | 0:43:23
where you are, you know what I mean? | 0:43:23 | 0:43:26
What's up?! | 0:43:32 | 0:43:36
CHEERING | 0:43:36 | 0:43:40
You know, I think we can all agree | 0:43:40 | 0:43:41
that we absolutely love our fans so much. We love you guys. | 0:43:41 | 0:43:44
We get a lot of questions over social media, | 0:43:46 | 0:43:49
so we picked a few and we're going to get right to it. | 0:43:49 | 0:43:51
Here we go. | 0:43:51 | 0:43:52
Our first question - if you could have one superpower, | 0:43:52 | 0:43:56
what would it be, Jordan? | 0:43:56 | 0:43:58
Oh, gosh. | 0:43:58 | 0:44:00
If I could have one superpower, | 0:44:00 | 0:44:03
I would want to be able to turn into a mermaid. | 0:44:03 | 0:44:06
LAUGHTER | 0:44:06 | 0:44:08
You know? Do a little mermaid dance. | 0:44:08 | 0:44:11
I've been working on it. I've been working on it. | 0:44:13 | 0:44:16
But, Trev, what's your superpower? | 0:44:16 | 0:44:18
Superpower? Um, I would want super strength, straight up. | 0:44:18 | 0:44:21
I would want to pick up cars and stuff. | 0:44:21 | 0:44:24
What about you, Isaac? | 0:44:29 | 0:44:31
I want the power to fly. | 0:44:31 | 0:44:34
CHEERING | 0:44:34 | 0:44:36
It didn't work that time. Usually it does. | 0:44:36 | 0:44:38
Usually I just kind of take off. | 0:44:38 | 0:44:40
Next question - what's your favourite dance move? Trevor? | 0:44:40 | 0:44:44
Yo, I like the running man. | 0:44:44 | 0:44:47
I think everyone needs to answer this. Right? | 0:44:51 | 0:44:53
Everybody needs to answer it. All right, Jordan, | 0:44:53 | 0:44:56
what's your favourite dance move? | 0:44:56 | 0:44:58
Well, I'm sorry to take this away from Vic, | 0:44:58 | 0:45:00
but what's Victoria's favourite dance move? | 0:45:00 | 0:45:04
CROWD RESPONDS | 0:45:04 | 0:45:05
So Victoria and I are hair whip sisters. I think you should do it. | 0:45:05 | 0:45:09
-Yeah! -You know, it's always good to just do one hair whip, | 0:45:12 | 0:45:15
then you've got to give it the look. | 0:45:15 | 0:45:17
When the hair is not in your face. | 0:45:17 | 0:45:19
Brittany, what's your favourite? | 0:45:19 | 0:45:21
I've got hair in my face. | 0:45:21 | 0:45:23
Um, my favourite dance move. Mine is a little weird, so bear with me. | 0:45:23 | 0:45:27
It's two body rolls, and on the second one you | 0:45:27 | 0:45:29
throw your arms down, so you go roll, throw, roll throw. | 0:45:29 | 0:45:33
Then, as you do it, you have to do, like, a really weird, | 0:45:33 | 0:45:36
ugly face with it. | 0:45:36 | 0:45:38
So it looks like this. | 0:45:38 | 0:45:39
CHEERING | 0:45:41 | 0:45:43
Yeah, that's my favourite dance move. | 0:45:43 | 0:45:45
Well, my dad is my number one fan, so he likes to think | 0:45:48 | 0:45:51
he taught me everything that I know, but he really can't dance at all. | 0:45:51 | 0:45:54
The only move he can really do is "raise the roof" | 0:45:54 | 0:45:57
so that's my favourite too. | 0:45:57 | 0:45:59
What about you? | 0:46:01 | 0:46:03
My favourite dance move is the Carlton. | 0:46:03 | 0:46:06
Do it, do it, do it! | 0:46:06 | 0:46:07
CHEERING | 0:46:09 | 0:46:11
Yes! That is my favourite move, I absolutely love that move. | 0:46:13 | 0:46:17
Reason why is because you can pull it out anywhere | 0:46:17 | 0:46:20
and people will laugh at you. | 0:46:20 | 0:46:22
There it is, the Carlton, everyone. | 0:46:24 | 0:46:26
Logan? | 0:46:26 | 0:46:28
I'm a fan of the ponche. | 0:46:28 | 0:46:30
Almost. You were really close, buddy. You were almost there. | 0:46:39 | 0:46:42
And he's the calmest member. He's the calmest. | 0:46:42 | 0:46:45
-I think I just tore my hip. -You good? | 0:46:45 | 0:46:50
Yeah, I'm good, I'm good. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. | 0:46:50 | 0:46:54
Really took it that far. | 0:46:54 | 0:46:57
What about you, Isaac? | 0:46:57 | 0:46:58
OK, my favourite dance move, it's very artistic. | 0:46:58 | 0:47:01
There's a lot of back-story behind it that inspires me to do the move. | 0:47:01 | 0:47:05
It's called the pizza dance. | 0:47:05 | 0:47:06
Here, I'll show you. | 0:47:07 | 0:47:09
Five, six, seven, eight. | 0:47:09 | 0:47:11
Serve the pizza. Serve the pizza. Serve the pizza. Serve the pizza. | 0:47:11 | 0:47:15
BEATBOXING | 0:47:15 | 0:47:17
Serve it up, serve it up! | 0:47:22 | 0:47:24
CHEERING | 0:47:24 | 0:47:26
So Isaac and I have been doing this duet for a couple of years now. | 0:47:33 | 0:47:37
So the name of the song is Inside Out. | 0:47:41 | 0:47:42
It's actually been playing on the radio, apparently, a couple times. | 0:47:42 | 0:47:46
-Yeah. -Which is crazy. -That's crazy. | 0:47:46 | 0:47:47
A couple of people told me that they heard our duet song on the radio. | 0:47:47 | 0:47:50
I was like, "What?!" | 0:47:50 | 0:47:52
I think for me, personally, just being a guy dancer, | 0:47:52 | 0:47:56
it's nice to do some lifts. | 0:47:56 | 0:47:57
And I love being lifted. It's so much fun. It's awesome. | 0:47:57 | 0:48:00
You're like flying in the air. | 0:48:00 | 0:48:02
That's probably my favourite as well. | 0:48:02 | 0:48:04
Even if we are in the middle of the lift and it's not exactly | 0:48:04 | 0:48:07
where it needs to be, | 0:48:07 | 0:48:09
we'll always find a way to make sure it's right by the end of the lift. | 0:48:09 | 0:48:12
I don't think anything has ever gone too wrong, knock on wood. | 0:48:12 | 0:48:17
Even if the girl messes up, it's still the guy's fault. | 0:48:17 | 0:48:20
It is always the guy's fault. | 0:48:20 | 0:48:22
It is your responsibility to make sure the lift goes right, | 0:48:22 | 0:48:25
so no matter what, you get her up there. | 0:48:25 | 0:48:30
Isaac and I are really good friends. I feel like... | 0:48:30 | 0:48:35
Isaac and I just have these jokes that we just take to the next level, | 0:48:35 | 0:48:39
so basically before we go on stage... | 0:48:39 | 0:48:42
It's either a really serious talk | 0:48:42 | 0:48:43
or it's a really funny laughing session that we have. | 0:48:43 | 0:48:47
We're just really silly together. | 0:48:47 | 0:48:49
We have that sort of chemistry on stage | 0:48:49 | 0:48:52
where it's good to work with each other. | 0:48:52 | 0:48:54
-Yeah. -Yeah. | 0:48:54 | 0:48:55
-We like working with each other. -Yeah. | 0:48:55 | 0:48:57
CHEERING | 0:48:57 | 0:48:59
SONG: Inside Out | 0:49:01 | 0:49:04
# Bang bang | 0:49:12 | 0:49:13
# The gun rang in my head again | 0:49:13 | 0:49:17
# The light, it shines | 0:49:17 | 0:49:20
# Nobody sees it | 0:49:20 | 0:49:24
# A bird circling over my head yet | 0:49:24 | 0:49:29
# The pitter patter | 0:49:29 | 0:49:32
# It draws my halo | 0:49:32 | 0:49:39
# Here your light is a ghost | 0:49:39 | 0:49:42
# On my mind, you weigh the most | 0:49:42 | 0:49:44
# Like a country at war | 0:49:44 | 0:49:48
# Trading towns, keeping score... # | 0:49:48 | 0:49:52
CHEERING | 0:49:52 | 0:49:56
# Cracks in the glass when you're moving too fast | 0:49:59 | 0:50:02
# And the time will turn inside out | 0:50:02 | 0:50:04
# The moral isn't lost on me | 0:50:04 | 0:50:07
# I know I'll never see the light | 0:50:07 | 0:50:12
# If I was brave, if I was stronger | 0:50:15 | 0:50:19
# Would you hold the candle longer? | 0:50:19 | 0:50:22
# If I burned it to the ground | 0:50:22 | 0:50:25
# If I fall, do I make a sound? | 0:50:25 | 0:50:29
# I can see your head in the crowd like a soul through the clouds | 0:50:29 | 0:50:33
# You're always turning me inside out | 0:50:33 | 0:50:36
# Gonna fall through the cracks in the glass | 0:50:36 | 0:50:37
# When you're moving too fast | 0:50:37 | 0:50:39
# And the time will turn inside out | 0:50:39 | 0:50:41
# The moral isn't lost on me | 0:50:41 | 0:50:43
# I know I'll never see the light. # | 0:50:43 | 0:50:49
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:50:52 | 0:50:55
My point solo is tiresome just because it's in the second act and | 0:51:04 | 0:51:08
it's the first number, then right after that, I have my duet with Trev | 0:51:08 | 0:51:12
and the finale, so I'm kind of like doing it so many times. | 0:51:12 | 0:51:15
Especially on point, it's very difficult especially | 0:51:15 | 0:51:17
because I haven't really been training in point as much, | 0:51:17 | 0:51:20
but it's really, really fun and it's kind of awesome to do | 0:51:20 | 0:51:23
something different because it's not as upbeat as the rest of the show. | 0:51:23 | 0:51:27
It's actually a more intense number, | 0:51:27 | 0:51:29
so it's kind of cool to have that contrast. | 0:51:29 | 0:51:32
I'm a little nervous for my point solo, to be honest, | 0:51:32 | 0:51:34
just because the stage is a little bit slippery. | 0:51:34 | 0:51:37
I have this resin, though. | 0:51:40 | 0:51:41
It's this rock stuff that you put in a container, | 0:51:41 | 0:51:44
then you crush it and it makes your point shoes nice and sticky | 0:51:44 | 0:51:46
so that you don't slide all over the stage, but still nervous cos, | 0:51:46 | 0:51:50
you know, I haven't done it full out too many times, | 0:51:50 | 0:51:53
but it should be good. Fingers crossed. | 0:51:53 | 0:51:56
CHEERING | 0:51:56 | 0:51:58
# So this is how it ends | 0:52:04 | 0:52:07
# No worlds left to avenge | 0:52:10 | 0:52:15
# All the talk of fire and brimstone has gone | 0:52:17 | 0:52:21
# And now we make amends | 0:52:21 | 0:52:24
# And all the talk of worlds we have to conquer | 0:52:29 | 0:52:34
# We will fight again | 0:52:34 | 0:52:39
# When the war is over | 0:52:39 | 0:52:43
# Don't take enemies | 0:52:43 | 0:52:49
# Don't take enemies for friends | 0:52:49 | 0:52:52
# When the war is over | 0:53:04 | 0:53:08
# When the war is over | 0:53:08 | 0:53:12
# When the war is over | 0:53:12 | 0:53:16
# When the war is over | 0:53:16 | 0:53:19
# When the war is over | 0:53:19 | 0:53:23
# When the war is over. # | 0:53:23 | 0:53:27
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:53:30 | 0:53:33
The little solo I have, it starts the duet I have with Brittany, | 0:53:39 | 0:53:43
another dance that we did at nationals. | 0:53:43 | 0:53:45
I was given a little bit of freedom with that solo, | 0:53:54 | 0:53:57
so I did the choreography for that. | 0:53:57 | 0:53:59
I took a little break-dancing approach. | 0:53:59 | 0:54:01
I thought it would be a cool moment to do a lot of floor work and stuff. | 0:54:01 | 0:54:04
Hey. What are you doing? | 0:54:04 | 0:54:06
I'm in the middle of an interview. | 0:54:06 | 0:54:08
You're doing an interview without me? | 0:54:08 | 0:54:11
Oh, like you tried to do the solo without me. OK. | 0:54:11 | 0:54:15
We're going to just join in there. | 0:54:15 | 0:54:18
What are we talking about? | 0:54:18 | 0:54:19
-OFF-SCREEN: -Your dance together. | 0:54:19 | 0:54:21
Oh! Our dance. It's great, I love it. | 0:54:21 | 0:54:24
He was talking about how much he loved the solo part. | 0:54:24 | 0:54:26
My favourite part is when I come into the dance. | 0:54:26 | 0:54:29
We were just talking about how much he loved the solo part. | 0:54:34 | 0:54:36
Yeah, it's really awesome, because, like, when I come in, | 0:54:36 | 0:54:39
fans don't expect it, so they just come out of nowhere. | 0:54:39 | 0:54:41
It's the best. Like, they love it, cos, you know. | 0:54:41 | 0:54:43
They love James, but James and Riley together is like... | 0:54:43 | 0:54:46
-They get upset at that part. -No, they love it. | 0:54:46 | 0:54:49
-Have you ever dropped Brittany? -Yes! -No, I haven't. | 0:54:51 | 0:54:54
-He did it once. -I have never actually dropped you. | 0:54:54 | 0:54:57
-I'm kidding. -Don't lie. -He actually hasn't. | 0:54:57 | 0:54:59
This is truthful here. | 0:54:59 | 0:55:00
We were doing a lift and I had to lean into it. | 0:55:00 | 0:55:03
He literally didn't hold me at all. I just fell on the ground. | 0:55:03 | 0:55:06
Oh, yeah. But, no, no, that was because | 0:55:06 | 0:55:08
we were in the middle of choreography. | 0:55:08 | 0:55:10
We were like, flowing, flowing. She was like, "Oh, yeah, boom." | 0:55:10 | 0:55:13
-I was like, "What?" -We were in it. We were doing it. | 0:55:13 | 0:55:15
No, we weren't doing it full out. But you went for it. | 0:55:15 | 0:55:17
We were. We were doing it. | 0:55:17 | 0:55:19
He doesn't know what he's talking about. | 0:55:19 | 0:55:22
What's your favourite part of the duet? | 0:55:22 | 0:55:24
I actually kind of like one of the lifts that we do. | 0:55:24 | 0:55:27
-Which one? That one? -Yeah. | 0:55:27 | 0:55:29
It's the last one, it's really, really hard, | 0:55:33 | 0:55:35
so when it's done, it's like... | 0:55:35 | 0:55:37
"Yes, we did it." | 0:55:37 | 0:55:38

Right now, I'm practising my solo for Oxygen. | 0:57:56 | 0:57:59
Oxygen was originally Isaac's solo song for season two. | 0:57:59 | 0:58:04
SONG: Oxygen | 0:58:04 | 0:58:06
But they gave it to me because they want to see what | 0:58:10 | 0:58:13
I can do with the song and the dubstep-y feel to the music. | 0:58:13 | 0:58:16
Depending on the city, I'll still perform the solo. | 0:58:19 | 0:58:21
We kind of switch on and off depending on, you know, | 0:58:21 | 0:58:25
if maybe Lamar's ankle hurts or my hip hurts today. | 0:58:25 | 0:58:29
You know, we'll kind of tag on and off of who does the solo. | 0:58:29 | 0:58:33
Isaac is all about spins, jumps, turns, legs, | 0:58:33 | 0:58:37
whereas I have a much more street, hip-hop flavour when I dance. | 0:58:37 | 0:58:41
So everyone kind of has their own, kind of, certain style. | 0:58:41 | 0:58:45
Now it's my turn to bring my style to that stage. | 0:58:49 | 0:58:52
You'll be able to do it. | 0:58:55 | 0:58:57
'Lamar and I, we do a lot of choreography together, | 0:58:57 | 0:58:59
'so when one of us has a piece to do,' | 0:58:59 | 0:59:01
we like to just help each other, cos we get inspired by each other. | 0:59:01 | 0:59:04
We have, like, two really different styles, | 0:59:04 | 0:59:07
but when we collab them, we can work so fast. | 0:59:07 | 0:59:09
He's just doing his solo just now, | 0:59:09 | 0:59:11
I thought I' just come up and help him. | 0:59:11 | 0:59:14
We get it done so quick. Plus, it's fun. | 0:59:14 | 0:59:16
It's great working with Trevor. | 0:59:20 | 0:59:22
We really excel in working together, you know? | 0:59:22 | 0:59:25
That's why people love The Next Step, | 0:59:25 | 0:59:27
because of how we come together. | 0:59:27 | 0:59:28
-Hey. -Yeah. | 0:59:38 | 0:59:39

# Oh, I just can't complain | 1:00:07 | 1:00:11
# I see the rain and watch my problem gets washed away | 1:00:13 | 1:00:19
# Oh, the same day, same routine | 1:00:20 | 1:00:25
# All I need is just a little... | 1:00:27 | 1:00:30
# All I need is just a little bit of oxygen | 1:00:31 | 1:00:34
# Oh, I just can't complain | 1:01:01 | 1:01:06
# I see the rain and watch my problems get washed away | 1:01:08 | 1:01:12

APPLAUSE | 1:01:30 | 1:01:32
'You don't ever get to see us teach.' | 1:01:32 | 1:01:34
-Both Isaac and I teach all the time. -Yeah. | 1:01:34 | 1:01:37
And it's something we really enjoy doing, so it's fun to go | 1:01:37 | 1:01:40
all across Canada and teach everyone steps that everyone can do. | 1:01:40 | 1:01:45
All right, you guys have been such an incredible audience | 1:01:45 | 1:01:48
all night watching us dance. | 1:01:48 | 1:01:50
Now it's time for you guys to get up and on your feet and dance with us. | 1:01:50 | 1:01:55
-A lot of the parents are very hesitant. -Yes. | 1:01:55 | 1:01:58
You can see them, so I come in on the mic and I'm like, | 1:01:58 | 1:02:00
"That means moms, that means dads..." | 1:02:00 | 1:02:03
That means grandmas, grandpas, uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters. | 1:02:03 | 1:02:08
Everyone on your feet, let's gooo! | 1:02:08 | 1:02:11
'A lot of the cities, there will be parents that won't | 1:02:13 | 1:02:16
'and they'll just sit there and let their kids do it. | 1:02:16 | 1:02:18
'I saw a few parents sitting down and I was like,' | 1:02:18 | 1:02:21
"Come on, guys," and instantly they were like, "All right, fine," | 1:02:21 | 1:02:24
and they stood up right away. | 1:02:24 | 1:02:26
We are lucky enough to have the leader of the TNS Spirit Squad, | 1:02:26 | 1:02:31
Miss Jennie Pappas. | 1:02:31 | 1:02:33
Give her a hand. | 1:02:33 | 1:02:35
And she was lucky enough to get us | 1:02:37 | 1:02:39
two of the TNS Spirit Squad team-mates... | 1:02:39 | 1:02:43
Can I have Victoria and Logan out on the stage? | 1:02:43 | 1:02:45
We come out and we help... | 1:02:48 | 1:02:50
-We assist them. -It's pretty awesome. | 1:02:50 | 1:02:52
Basically so the kids can, like, mimic us, | 1:02:52 | 1:02:54
so if we go left, they go right. | 1:02:54 | 1:02:56
The first move, we start with this arm | 1:02:56 | 1:03:00
and all we're doing is pulling down and then we push down. | 1:03:00 | 1:03:03
'Having them up there, it just gives us, like, a second...' | 1:03:03 | 1:03:07
If we don't have to do this move, we can just watch and point at them. | 1:03:07 | 1:03:11
Dougie and Dougie and Dougie and Dougie. Yes! | 1:03:11 | 1:03:16
'Any time that everyone is just excited to dance with us' | 1:03:16 | 1:03:19
is awesome and there so many people who don't dance | 1:03:19 | 1:03:22
that come to see the show. Like, you don't have to be a dancer | 1:03:22 | 1:03:25
to learn the steps that we're doing. | 1:03:25 | 1:03:27
And now the fourth move in my section, OK, | 1:03:27 | 1:03:30
it's very, very important, OK? It's my favourite dance move. | 1:03:30 | 1:03:34
Do you guys remember what my favourite dance move is? | 1:03:34 | 1:03:37
AUDIENCE CHEERS | 1:03:37 | 1:03:39
Yeah, we're doing the pizza dance! | 1:03:39 | 1:03:41
So we just Dougie-d, here we go. Serve the pizza, serve the pizza. | 1:03:43 | 1:03:49
Is it Canadian pizza? Or Hawaiian pizza? | 1:03:49 | 1:03:52
Are you going to add green peppers to it? Maybe add some bacon? | 1:03:52 | 1:03:55
-Have a creamy garlic dipping sauce? -Isaac! | 1:03:55 | 1:03:57
Every time he gets super excited about the pizza dance | 1:03:57 | 1:04:00
and then we get distracted, you get hungry... | 1:04:00 | 1:04:02
-It's not cool! -I'm sorry I'm hungry. | 1:04:02 | 1:04:04
'Everyone wants to join in. I think it's, like, the first time' | 1:04:04 | 1:04:07
where we kind of break the wall of dancers and audience | 1:04:07 | 1:04:10
and it's the first time we get to be, like, with the audience | 1:04:10 | 1:04:14
for something, which is really cool. | 1:04:14 | 1:04:16
All right, DJ Junior, spin that track. Five, six, seven, eight. | 1:04:16 | 1:04:21
MUSIC PLAYS | 1:04:21 | 1:04:23

And serve the pizza! | 1:04:32 | 1:04:35
Chest pump! | 1:04:35 | 1:04:37
What up? | 1:04:39 | 1:04:40
Dougie and Dougie and Dougie and... | 1:04:43 | 1:04:47
AUDIENCE CHEERS | 1:04:50 | 1:04:53
'It's really cool when the whole audience,' | 1:04:53 | 1:04:55
you're just staring out and everyone's doing the same move. | 1:04:55 | 1:04:58
-It's really cool. -Yeah, it's like a big flash mob. -Yeah. | 1:04:58 | 1:05:01
I don't know about you guys, but I want to see if we can get | 1:05:03 | 1:05:05
the whole country dancing with us from coast to coast. | 1:05:05 | 1:05:07
Are you guys up for it? | 1:05:07 | 1:05:09
All right, everybody back on your feet. Let's do it! | 1:05:11 | 1:05:14
Five, six, seven, eight. | 1:05:14 | 1:05:16
'The pizza dance is going down in history, I feel it!' | 1:05:59 | 1:06:02
It's going viral. It's happening. | 1:06:02 | 1:06:04
The fans have been insane. | 1:06:12 | 1:06:14
-FAN: -We love The Next Step! | 1:06:14 | 1:06:16
Every show, you feel the different energy that they give us. | 1:06:19 | 1:06:22
It's just crazy, the energy that our fans have. | 1:06:24 | 1:06:27
Everyone is just so excited to see us. | 1:06:27 | 1:06:30
It so interesting going from city to city to see what our fan base is. | 1:06:30 | 1:06:35
In every city we go to, there's the same amount of screams | 1:06:35 | 1:06:38
and the same amount of appreciation. | 1:06:38 | 1:06:41
CROWD ROARS | 1:06:41 | 1:06:43
I can't even describe it. | 1:06:43 | 1:06:44
It's so crazy that 3,000 people feel the same as, you know, | 1:06:44 | 1:06:48
the 100 or 200 people. | 1:06:48 | 1:06:50
Even in some cities, like, they're quieter | 1:06:53 | 1:06:55
but you can tell that they appreciate us more. | 1:06:55 | 1:06:57
Like, they are watching us and they are so into us, like this. | 1:06:57 | 1:07:00
They are so intrigued. It's the most amazing thing. | 1:07:00 | 1:07:03
I remember specifically my solo, I'd go into this one part | 1:07:04 | 1:07:08
and I stay at this one corner and this one little girl was just... | 1:07:08 | 1:07:12
staring, so I was like... | 1:07:12 | 1:07:13
And she...just kind of had a moment like... | 1:07:15 | 1:07:17
-"Oh, you waved to me?!" -"Hi, hey, how's it going?" | 1:07:17 | 1:07:20
You know, and that's just really cool. | 1:07:20 | 1:07:22
It's really awesome just for them to see | 1:07:22 | 1:07:24
and almost feel like they've met us because we are closer to them. | 1:07:24 | 1:07:28
What's up, Saint John! | 1:07:28 | 1:07:30
We're not on a TV, we're right there in front of them and for us | 1:07:32 | 1:07:36
to see them and them to see us is just a really awesome connection. | 1:07:36 | 1:07:40
It's really cool. | 1:07:40 | 1:07:42
-Hi! What's your name? -I like your hair. -Oh, thank you! | 1:07:42 | 1:07:45
What's your name? Oh, we're taking a photo? OK. | 1:07:45 | 1:07:48
Hi, how are you guys? I'm Jordan. Nice to meet you. | 1:07:48 | 1:07:53
And what's your name? Sorry, I missed it. Brie? | 1:07:53 | 1:07:56
'Usually we don't leave the venue until, like, 11:30.' | 1:07:58 | 1:08:01
-Yeah, we leave later. -Yeah. | 1:08:01 | 1:08:02
The fans have been waiting outside the venue sometimes near our bus | 1:08:05 | 1:08:08
and we go out and we get to see them and actually talk to them and take | 1:08:08 | 1:08:11
-pictures with them and stuff. That's been pretty crazy. -Yeah. | 1:08:11 | 1:08:14
And sometimes they even write on our bus. | 1:08:14 | 1:08:16
Yeah, if the bus is dirty cos the bus is really dirty, | 1:08:16 | 1:08:19
-they'll write, like...notes. -"I heart Michelle, I heart Amanda." | 1:08:19 | 1:08:23
-Stuff like that. -It's really cute. | 1:08:23 | 1:08:25
You guys have any questions or anything? | 1:08:25 | 1:08:28
Anything that you've been dying to ask? | 1:08:28 | 1:08:30
Want to come home with me? | 1:08:30 | 1:08:32
Yeah, I mean, can I get a drive? We haven't slept in a real bed | 1:08:33 | 1:08:36
-for a while. -Yeah. -We just slept in a real bed last night. | 1:08:36 | 1:08:40
A real bed would be really nice. | 1:08:40 | 1:08:43
'Our first show, the lights came up and it was just so large and | 1:08:43 | 1:08:47
'enormous and I was so taken aback by it and I came off the stage | 1:08:47 | 1:08:52
'and...could barely breathe because of the effects that they put on us | 1:08:52 | 1:08:56
'and our tour manager, she was like, "Are you OK?" I was like...' | 1:08:56 | 1:08:59
"Just, it's all good, I'm not going to cry, that was amazing!" | 1:09:00 | 1:09:04
I remember when we were in Montreal, we were walking to our buses | 1:09:04 | 1:09:08
and there were a couple of fans waiting and I was like, "Hold on... | 1:09:08 | 1:09:11
"It's been, like, three hours since the show." | 1:09:11 | 1:09:13
And they were waiting outside the whole time, so it kind of | 1:09:13 | 1:09:17
blew me away that people will actually wait that long to meet us. | 1:09:17 | 1:09:21
That's why I love this tour so much, that's why I am loving | 1:09:21 | 1:09:23
performing on stage, because you actually get to see the fans, | 1:09:23 | 1:09:26
you get to watch them enjoying it, you see the reactions and stuff. | 1:09:26 | 1:09:29
It becomes so much more real. | 1:09:29 | 1:09:30
Yes, they are watching us dance, but, in the same way, | 1:09:30 | 1:09:33
we're watching the fans, too. We're watching them react, | 1:09:33 | 1:09:35
we're watching them enjoy it, which is really special. | 1:09:35 | 1:09:38
