We will see you later.

0:17:530:17:55

Over here, Ditty.

0:17:550:17:57

Just start by putting your colour schemes on paper.

0:17:590:18:02

What's your favourite colour, Professor?

0:18:050:18:07

That's an easy one -

0:18:070:18:09

tartan!

0:18:090:18:10

Tartan isn't a colour! It's a pattern.

0:18:100:18:13

But tartan rhymes with Martin.

0:18:130:18:15

And who in the universe is Martin?

0:18:150:18:18

It's his friend, commander.

0:18:180:18:20

Martin the Martian.

0:18:200:18:21

-A poem.

-BAGPIPES START UP

0:18:210:18:25

Many aliens I have seen

0:18:250:18:28

Some are blue and some are green

0:18:280:18:31

But none compared to the Martian called Martin

0:18:320:18:36

Who stuns them all by wearing tartan

0:18:360:18:38

Ta-da!

0:18:410:18:42

Wow! That's, er...very tartan.

0:18:420:18:46

-Not very silver, is it?

-SNIFFS

0:18:480:18:52

I smell a rhyme!

0:18:520:18:54

I thought so, it's the rhyming pair planet.

0:18:560:18:59

Everyone, on the lookout for aliens that rhyme. Hmm...

0:18:590:19:03

Red.

0:19:030:19:05

Bed.

0:19:050:19:06

Red.

0:19:060:19:08

Bed.

0:19:080:19:10

Do you think these two aliens rhyme?

0:19:100:19:13

Yes!

0:19:130:19:15

Red.

0:19:150:19:17

Bed.

0:19:170:19:18

Whoo-hoo! Yay!

0:19:180:19:21

Excellent! More rhymes for the rocket.

0:19:210:19:25

-BOTH:

-See you later!

0:19:250:19:28

Leaving the pair planet.

0:19:280:19:31

Heading for a poem next.

0:19:310:19:33

ALL: The following colour is a rhyme to my day

0:19:330:19:37

Who wants a world of weeping grey?

0:19:370:19:40

Gold tinsel sunrise

0:19:400:19:43

Deep evening blue

0:19:430:19:45

The rainbow of assortments which the sky wizard drew

0:19:450:19:49

The magic of colour

0:19:490:19:51

The tangerine tree

0:19:510:19:53

The yellow banana

0:19:530:19:55

Tasted daily by me

0:19:550:19:57

The duller the colour

0:19:570:19:59

The more I feel grey

0:19:590:20:00

The fuller the colour

0:20:000:20:01

The brighter my day!

0:20:010:20:03

Yay!

0:20:030:20:06

Whoosh!

0:20:070:20:09

The problem is we've got too many colours to choose for the Commander.

0:20:110:20:15

I know. A ditty from Officer Ditty.

0:20:150:20:19

Ip-dip-dip My blue ship.

0:20:200:20:23

No, that's too blue.

0:20:240:20:26

OK. Um, ip-dip-doo, cat got the flu.

0:20:260:20:29

No, that's too green.

0:20:310:20:33

OK. Ip-dip-doo, doggy needs the loo.

0:20:330:20:37

No, that's too orange.

0:20:370:20:39

Hang on, you didn't buy any orange paint!

0:20:390:20:42

Oh, it's me. Just carry on.

0:20:420:20:45

I'm just looking for something. Um...

0:20:450:20:47

Oh, toothbrush! No. Nailbrush? No.

0:20:470:20:51

Toilet brush? No.

0:20:510:20:53

Paintbrush - that's it! Yeah!

0:20:530:20:56

Wow! It's amazing what you can do with a paintbrush.

0:21:000:21:05

Take a brush

0:21:080:21:09

The sky is green

0:21:090:21:11

The grass is blue?

0:21:110:21:14

You are purple?

0:21:140:21:16

The house is silver?

0:21:160:21:18

The river is gold?

0:21:190:21:21

The sun is black?

0:21:210:21:23

The world has changed

0:21:230:21:25

Did you do that?

0:21:250:21:26

The house is silver! Now, that's a nice colour.

0:21:300:21:35

But the poem was about changing colours.

0:21:350:21:39

Things you wouldn't expect.

0:21:390:21:41

Ha! I wasn't expecting this - blue. Blue, it's, it's awful!

0:21:410:21:47

I know, Commander. How about scary scarlet?

0:21:470:21:51

It's very scary! And rather red.

0:21:510:21:55

Where did we see something red before?

0:21:570:21:59

Ah! The rhyming pair planet.

0:21:590:22:02

Red. Bed.

0:22:020:22:05

Red. Bed.

0:22:090:22:12

Yeah! Whoo-hoo!

0:22:120:22:14

Oh, no! Who's this?

0:22:140:22:17

Car?

0:22:170:22:18

Red.

0:22:200:22:21

Bed. Car?

0:22:210:22:24

That doesn't rhyme. Quick! Get away!

0:22:240:22:27

Hang on. Who's this?

0:22:290:22:32

0:22:480:22:49

-OK, so this one's white, but with a hint of Brussels sprout.

-Oh!

0:22:510:22:56

-Put a lid on it.

-Not your colour?

-Ah!

0:22:560:22:59

ALARM BLARES

0:22:590:23:00

Oh, no! We're entering a rhyme hole!

0:23:030:23:07

-Oh! I quite like it.

-It's a rollercoaster.

0:23:130:23:16

The correct term is a rhyme hole, and we have just been sucked in.

0:23:160:23:20

-Look!

-All that space junk!

0:23:200:23:23

There's no other choice - we'll have to rhyme our way out.

0:23:250:23:28

There's a rainbow. A crow and a lovely pink bow.

0:23:280:23:31

# A rainbow, a crow, a lovely pink bow

0:23:330:23:36

And some seeds to sow.

0:23:420:23:44

And a great big toe!

0:23:440:23:45

0:24:070:24:11

-ALL:

0:24:170:24:19

# Well, what do you know, let's wave hello! #

0:24:190:24:21

-Oh, there they go.

-I think we're through.

0:24:220:24:25

-That's it - pink!

-Pardon?

0:24:250:24:29

The lovely pink bow. You'd like a pink spaceship, wouldn't you?

0:24:290:24:32

-I'll get the paint brushes.

-Hang on, I hate pink.

0:24:330:24:36

0:25:330:25:35

I might have rewired the flight deck this morning. Try again, Commander.

0:25:350:25:38

-Are you ready?

-But what about the paint?

0:25:380:25:40

Don't worry, you leave that to me! Are you steady?

0:25:400:25:44

-Hang on, didn't we all decide on pink?

-No, you chose pink.

0:25:440:25:47

After picking up a signal of rhyme activity from children in Newcastle, the team blast off on a journey through the universe of words to join them.

First Officer Ditty and Professor Poet have decided to surprise Commander Rhyme-a-Lot by painting the rhyme rocket in a new colour scheme, but the commander isn't sure she wants a change.

As they zoom through space they pass a poem by Stewart Henderson and have to escape a rhymehole full of space junk.
