0:32:430:32:46

Stink.

0:32:480:32:50

Sink.

0:32:500:32:52

Wink!

0:32:520:32:53

Look, I can wink.

0:32:530:32:56

Look, I can wink with both eyes.

0:32:560:32:58

And we can both blink.

0:33:010:33:04

Drink.

0:33:100:33:11

My T-shirt is pink.

0:33:110:33:13

Pigs are pink.

0:33:130:33:15

Pigs make this noise... Oink, oink!

0:33:150:33:17

See you later!

0:33:180:33:20

Oh, that was a tasty sandwich.

0:33:210:33:24

-I'm hungry now. I don't know what to have.

-Never fear,

0:33:240:33:27

my magic pocket is here. A poem.

0:33:270:33:30

Whatever you fancy, from ice cream to fish,

0:33:300:33:33

Mr Pocket will grant your wish.

0:33:330:33:35

Oh, OK - um... I don't know, there's too much choice!

0:33:350:33:38

-Maybe I can choose for you.

-OK.

0:33:380:33:40

How about a tasty cupcake?

0:33:400:33:42

Or a yummy fruit milkshake?

0:33:420:33:46

Oh, no - too sweet.

0:33:460:33:48

-OK, don't worry, I'll have them later.

-OK.

0:33:480:33:51

How about a toad, without the hole?

0:33:510:33:54

-A bacon, egg and liquorice roll?

-Liquorice?

0:33:550:33:58

A rainbow trout?

0:33:580:34:00

A Brussel sprout?

0:34:010:34:04

A lovely jar of sauerkraut?

0:34:040:34:07

A wobbly jelly?

0:34:070:34:09

Oh, that's smelly!

0:34:110:34:13

Commander, what have you sniffed out?

0:34:130:34:16

Carrots!

0:34:170:34:19

I thought so! It's the Rhyming Pair planet!

0:34:210:34:23

Everyone - on the lookout for aliens that rhyme!

0:34:230:34:26

Carrot. Parrot.

0:34:260:34:30

Carrot...parrot.

0:34:300:34:32

Do you think these two aliens rhyme?

0:34:320:34:35

Yes! Carrot. Parrot.

0:34:350:34:38

Excellent! More rhymes for the rocket!

0:34:380:34:42

BOTH: See you later!

0:34:420:34:44

Leaving the Pair planet.

0:34:440:34:46

Heading for a poem by Michael Rosen next.

0:34:470:34:50

Melon's squashy!

0:34:500:34:53

Melon's sloshy!

0:34:530:34:54

Melon's yummy!

0:34:540:34:56

Melon's scrummy!

0:34:560:34:58

Melon smelling.

0:34:580:35:00

Lovely jubbly!

0:35:000:35:02

Now I'm telling my friend Helen!

0:35:020:35:05

Eat your melon, slurp, slurp, slurp.

0:35:070:35:10

Gobble your melon, burp, burp, burp.

0:35:100:35:13

Do what you want, do what you do

0:35:130:35:17

I don't mind, it's up to you!

0:35:170:35:20

But don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, DON'T

0:35:200:35:25

sit on your melon, Helen.

0:35:250:35:29

Melon. I like melon. Tasty and healthy.

0:35:290:35:33

Not a problem. I'll ask my magic pocket.

0:35:330:35:36

When we want food in our tums,

0:35:360:35:38

ask Mr Pocket, and out it comes!

0:35:380:35:41

Can I have a melon, please?

0:35:410:35:44

POCKET WHISTLES

0:35:440:35:45

That's not a melon, Professor. That's a lemon.

0:35:450:35:48

"I'm not a melon, I'm a lemon. I'm not a melon, I'm a lemon."

0:35:480:35:53

That sounds fun. I want a go. Can I have a lemon, please?

0:35:530:35:57

That's not a lemon. That's a melon!

0:36:020:36:04

HE LAUGHS

0:36:040:36:06

"I'm not a lemon, I'm a melon. I'm not a lemon, I'm a melon."

0:36:060:36:10

-"I'm a lemon!"

-"I'm a melon."

-"Lemon."

-"Melon."

0:36:100:36:14

-"Lemon."

-"Melon."

-"Lemon."

-"Melon."

-Enough!

-"Lemon."

-"Melon."

-Stop it!

0:36:140:36:19

"Melon."

0:36:190:36:20

HE WHIMPERS

0:36:200:36:22

Ah, the Rhyming Pair Planet. Melons and lemons down, please.

0:36:240:36:28

Carrot, parrot.

0:36:280:36:30

There they are! They rhyme. Parrot, carrot, oh, it's great here,

0:36:300:36:35

on the Rhyming Pair Planet. Oh, no, who's this?

0:36:350:36:38

Carrot, parrot.

0:36:380:36:40

Note?

0:36:400:36:42

That doesn't rhyme! Quick, get away!

0:36:420:36:45

Hang on! Who's this?

0:36:490:36:51

Boat.

0:36:510:36:53

-Yes!

-ALL: Yay!

0:36:530:36:55

I think they've found their rhyming pair. Note, boat.

0:36:550:36:59

-Boat, note.

-ALL: Yay!

0:36:590:37:02

Yeah, more rhymes for the tank. Full speed ahead!

0:37:020:37:07

Zoom!

0:37:090:37:10

Mm, that melon was nice. Just enough to keep me going.

0:37:130:37:17

I'm struggling here. I won't get through it.

0:37:170:37:20

I'm not surprised.

0:37:200:37:22

Can you even remember what you ordered from your magic pocket?

0:37:220:37:26

I put my hand in my pocket and pulled out

0:37:260:37:28

a magnificent milkshake, a crumbly cake,

0:37:280:37:31

a teensy-weensy Brussels sprout, a super-duper rainbow trout.

0:37:310:37:35

A jolly lolly, a jolly jelly, something smelly,

0:37:350:37:39

cucumber, sausages, pasta, bread, melon, lemon, oh, my head!

0:37:390:37:45

What have I said to you about snacking?

0:37:450:37:49

THEY SIGH

0:37:490:37:50

-Commander, look over here. Someone else is eating.

-That's right!

0:37:500:37:55

The constellation of Little Miss Muffet.

0:37:550:37:58

ELECTRONIC BLEEPS

0:37:580:38:00

Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet,

0:38:040:38:10

eating her curds and whey. Along came a spider

0:38:100:38:14

who sat down beside her

0:38:140:38:17

and frightened Miss Muffet away.

0:38:170:38:20

How are we doing, Ditty?

0:38:270:38:29

On course to reach planet Earth.

0:38:290:38:31

We need more rhymes in the rhyme tanks. They're not very full.

0:38:310:38:34

Unlike Professor Poet here.

0:38:340:38:37

-I couldn't eat another thing.

-That's because you've been snacking!

0:38:370:38:42

Look, the rhyme rock!

0:38:420:38:43

And I know just the act to teach Professor Poet a lesson!

0:38:430:38:47

Ready the transporter, Ditty, and we'll beam up

0:38:470:38:50

Sally Stapleton and members of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra!

0:38:500:38:56

After receiving a signal of rhyme activity from children in Stockport, the team blast off on a journey through the universe of words to join them.

Professor Poet shows off his magic pocket which can produce any food he asks for, but the professor finds it isn't wise to be snacking when you're travelling at the speed of light.

On the way, the team pass a poem by Michael Rosen, they discover planet Little Miss Muffet and beam aboard singer Sally Stapleton and members of the BBC Philharmonic.
