It's like a zoo for children.

Exactly. The Earth children are divided into different classes...

Like a zoo.

..and they get fed while they're there.

Like a zoo.

They get to run around and play.

Just like a zoo.

And they have a special type of zookeeper, called...

-a teacher.

-Are they human, too?

No-one's entirely sure.

What if I wanted to go to Earth school, what would I need?

A school bag.

What's that for, putting your school into?

That would be huge-mongous.

It's for weight training.

It's filled with incredibly heavy books

-that pupils must carry with them to school.

-Oh.

You also need a uniform.

Oh, I want a doctor's uniform.

That would be coo-el.

I'd like to be a knight!

Oh, I want to be a knight, too!

The knights of the square table!

Coolest school uniform ever!

What's this thing they call "break time"?

An alarm goes off and you're allowed to go out and break stuff.

I don't think so.

Or you can just hang out in the yard with your buds.

And trade cheeses,

milk a goat,

catch up with my besties -

Riley, Michelle, James and Eldon.

Wait a second,

that's the cast of The Next Step.

If I'm going to school, I'm going to THEIR school.

True that!

One good thing about school is that you get to go home in the afternoon.

That means you can hang out, do fun stuff, watch CBBC.

You CAN do that,

but you've also got to do something called "homework".

-What's that?

-It's what it says on the tin.

The teacher gives you WORK to do at HOME.

Why would they do that?

We've been working all day.

Teachers are NOT human after all.

What if we had to go to a new school

and it's really different?

-Like, how?

-What if, in the new school, the teachers are zombies,

your classmates are giant pieces of fruit

and the playground is a gateway to another dimension?

Or Hacker is in our class.
