It's autumn at Lowick School.

Here comes Pandra.

Look how the leaves have turned golden-brown.

Mrs Fieldhouse has everyone ready to go, sat down for a chat.

The trees are going to lose their leaves over the wintertime,

and they get new ones in the spring.

And today I thought we could go on a leaf hunt.

-We might take our squirrel with us.

I wonder where they're off to.

-I know where the big field is.

Get your bowl filled with different leaves.

They're collecting leaves. Look how many Davy's got!

What do you think they're going to do with all those leaves?

Ah, Davy and Mitchell are making leaf prints with coloured paint.

And it doesn't matter whether you get mixed up colours on the leaves,

because that is how the leaves look - sometimes they've got mixed colours.

Anywhere you like, but not overlapping. Each leaf separate.

Are you going to do a different leaf? Hold it with one hand.

They'll go in the oven now, Pandra.

I tell you what, put some blue in and see what happens.

Makes a lovely brown, doesn't it? That's beautiful.

So when the three colours blue, red and yellow mix together,

They've got into a bit of a mess, haven't they?

Look! Pandra, Mitchell and Davy have got some squishy modelling clay.

Then we put that head onto the body.

Mm - the biscuits are smelling good. Can you smell them?

That looks difficult - pushing the clay through the holes.

a little place to put him with all the leaves?

On the tray outside, where we had them.

-OK, so what is it you need, Pandra, now?

It looks like worms coming out of a hole.

And there. We'll put the tail part down here.

And there I go.

And there you go. So if you take your squirrel out to the leaves as well,

and keep him safe and surround him with leaves.

Nice squirrel, Pandra.

And now that the biscuits have cooled down,

you have something you can definitely eat.

-How do they taste?

-Mm!

-So do you think they're a success?

-Yes.

DING-DING-DING!

-One, two, three...

-Come on, boys!

Time to go back outside for some more fun with leaves.

So we're going over to the little house, where it's less windy.

That's clever. Mrs Fieldhouse has made a crown using the leaves

and a piece of ribbon.

Stick your leaves on. All different ones on your crown.

-Can I have scissors, please?

-One second. There you go.

Actually, I think I might just wear it at a jaunty angle.

-Sticky!

-It is sticky. Look at the different colours.

Some nice leaves over here.

-Some leaves are golden, like this.
