One of the things I love about us Brits is our spirit of generosity.

0:00:030:00:07

If I can give back to somebody who had

0:00:070:00:09

a similar struggle to my own, then that's what I'd like to do.

0:00:090:00:12

Last year, nearly three quarters of us gave to charity.

0:00:120:00:16

But what if you had the chance to go back and relive moments

0:00:160:00:20

-from your past?

-I wish I was 18 again!

0:00:200:00:22

THEY LAUGH

0:00:220:00:23

I'm expecting Mum and Dad to walk out now and say hello, you know?

0:00:230:00:26

-Yeah.

-You know?

0:00:260:00:28

Moments which would inspire you to want to help someone today.

0:00:280:00:31

I want to give back to those people that are going through that

0:00:310:00:34

that I went through in the beginning.

0:00:340:00:36

If I can give something to somebody else that will change their lives,

0:00:360:00:39

-I'd really love to.

-Fantastic.

0:00:390:00:40

Someone who had no idea this life-changing windfall was coming.

0:00:400:00:44

I have got, potentially, her dream...in my hand.

0:00:440:00:48

How are you feeling?

0:00:480:00:50

-Nervous!

-SHE LAUGHS

0:00:500:00:51

There'll be surprises...

0:00:510:00:53

-How are you?

-I'm good!

0:00:530:00:54

Thank you so much.

0:00:560:00:58

-Thank you.

-Ah...

0:00:580:00:59

..with acts of generosity that will change people's lives...

0:00:590:01:03

-Really excited.

-Ah... We're all crying.

0:01:030:01:06

-Do you need a hug as well?

-Yeah, thanks.

0:01:060:01:08

THEY LAUGH

0:01:080:01:09

-..forever.

-Way!

-That's brilliant...

0:01:090:01:12

Somebody that just does that for people, it's just amazing,

0:01:120:01:15

it really is.

0:01:150:01:16

This is Going Back Giving Back.

0:01:160:01:18

Today, we're going back to the late 1940s

0:01:300:01:32

to hear a tale of unbelievable success.

0:01:320:01:35

A story of how one man escaped conflict and poverty

0:01:360:01:39

and, against all the odds, turned his life around.

0:01:390:01:42

How did a man from India without a penny to his name become

0:01:430:01:47

one of Britain's most successful businessmen?

0:01:470:01:50

I started with just £2 capital,

0:01:500:01:53

a typewriter, and somebody had given me their second-hand desk.

0:01:530:01:57

What is motivating him to want to give back to someone

0:01:570:02:01

who needs a leg up today?

0:02:010:02:03

I start my journey from a refugee camp

0:02:030:02:06

and I was given a lot of help by good people.

0:02:060:02:10

Can he help an ambitious young fashion designer

0:02:100:02:12

who's struggling to achieve her dream?

0:02:120:02:15

I'm concentrating on what I'm doing and I find it hard sometimes

0:02:150:02:18

to do that when the kids are around and they're making so much noise.

0:02:180:02:23

And there's an air of excitement as we prepare for the big moment...

0:02:230:02:27

So, how are you feeling?

0:02:270:02:29

Oh, well, I'm really excited,

0:02:290:02:30

looking forward to meeting her, and to...trying to surprise her.

0:02:300:02:34

..with a gift that will transform her life.

0:02:350:02:38

-Thank you very much, I'm so happy.

-Yes. Thank you...

0:02:380:02:41

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Give them a round of applause, yeah.

0:02:410:02:44

BIRDS TWEET

0:02:470:02:48

Today, I'm meeting an exceptional man who started life

0:02:530:02:55

in a refugee camp and is living proof

0:02:550:02:57

that you should never give up on your dreams.

0:02:570:03:00

When he arrived in the UK in the early '70s,

0:03:000:03:03

he literally had nothing,

0:03:030:03:05

but his entrepreneurial spirits took over

0:03:050:03:07

and 45 years later he now runs several successful businesses.

0:03:070:03:12

What's more, he's collected quite a few accolades over the years,

0:03:120:03:15

even a couple from Her Majesty the Queen.

0:03:150:03:17

I'm looking forward to meeting him.

0:03:170:03:19

On the outskirts of Middlesex lives 69-year-old family man

0:03:190:03:22

Dr Rami Ranger, CBE.

0:03:220:03:24

He's married, with three grown-up children and four grandchildren.

0:03:240:03:29

-Hello.

-How are you?

-How are you?

-Very well. Very

-nice to see you.

-Welcome, welcome.

0:03:300:03:34

Rami started his first business in a shed with just £2,

0:03:340:03:38

a typewriter and a borrowed desk.

0:03:380:03:40

Today, nearly 30 years later,

0:03:400:03:42

he owns two multi-million-pound companies.

0:03:420:03:46

Thank you so much for inviting me into your lovely home.

0:03:480:03:51

You're very welcome.

0:03:510:03:52

So, go on, tell me, what's motivating you to want

0:03:520:03:55

-to give something back today?

-Very simple.

0:03:550:03:57

You know, I have a very humble background,

0:03:570:03:59

I start my journey from a refugee camp and I was given

0:03:590:04:02

a lot of help by good people, and because of their generosity

0:04:020:04:07

and their help, I am where I am today.

0:04:070:04:09

And where Rami is today is a far cry from his tough start

0:04:110:04:14

in life in a refugee camp in India.

0:04:140:04:16

But in 1971, aged 23,

0:04:180:04:20

Rami came to Britain to make a new life for himself.

0:04:200:04:24

He arrived here with great expectations.

0:04:240:04:27

Because I had that perception that Britain,

0:04:270:04:30

you know, is a fantastic rich country,

0:04:300:04:33

roads are paved with gold, money grows on trees,

0:04:330:04:36

it would be just one beautiful life.

0:04:360:04:39

But he soon discovered the reality.

0:04:390:04:42

-And what happened when you got here?

-Oh, it was a cultural shock.

0:04:440:04:47

I had no idea how hard you have to work just to make end meet.

0:04:470:04:52

Rami quickly realised life in Britain

0:04:520:04:54

wasn't the stuff of his dreams and finding work was a challenge.

0:04:540:04:59

Wherever I went people said, "Do you have experience?"

0:04:590:05:02

I had no experience.

0:05:020:05:04

And then eventually, I got a job as a car cleaner.

0:05:040:05:08

Then, one fine morning, I was walking home

0:05:080:05:11

and I saw one fast food chain, there was a board...

0:05:110:05:15

"Chef required, no experience required."

0:05:150:05:18

So I said, at least if I get a job here, I'll work indoors, in warmth.

0:05:180:05:23

-Yeah.

-So, I got a job...

0:05:230:05:25

Er, 35p an hour, as a chef.

0:05:250:05:28

-35p an hour?!

-A lot of money in those days. Yes.

0:05:280:05:32

So, I worked very hard.

0:05:320:05:34

Rami worked incredibly hard,

0:05:360:05:37

starting as a chef of a fried chicken fast food restaurant.

0:05:370:05:41

He was quickly promoted to area manager.

0:05:410:05:44

But his ambitions didn't stop there.

0:05:440:05:46

A few years later, he opened his own corner shop and then, in 1987,

0:05:460:05:51

just 16 years after arriving in Britain,

0:05:510:05:54

he started his own export company.

0:05:540:05:56

Today, he has two shipping companies that transport household items

0:05:560:06:01

all over the world, and they're turning over millions.

0:06:010:06:04

Rami has gone from having nothing

0:06:060:06:08

to being one of the UK's most successful businessmen.

0:06:080:06:12

So, you've decided that you want to help somebody who maybe

0:06:120:06:15

has that sort of entrepreneurial spirit inside them?

0:06:150:06:18

If I could help some youngster with circumstances like mine, who knows?

0:06:180:06:25

There are so many people out there with dreams, ambitions,

0:06:250:06:27

and if I can, in my humble way,

0:06:270:06:30

I can help them, so that's what I try to do

0:06:300:06:33

to repay my debt to society from where I benefited so much.

0:06:330:06:37

I think it's a wonderful thing you're doing.

0:06:370:06:40

In order for you to give back though,

0:06:400:06:42

-I think that first we need to go back, if you don't mind.

-Indeed.

0:06:420:06:46

So, no time like the present. Let's go for it, shall we?

0:06:460:06:49

-Let's go for it.

-OK.

-Thank you.

-You lead the way.

-Thank you.

0:06:490:06:52

We're hoping that by taking Rami on this trip down memory lane

0:07:030:07:06

it will remind him of how far he's come and spur him on even more

0:07:060:07:10

to want to help someone.

0:07:100:07:12

-So, do you have any idea where we're going on this journey next?

-No idea.

0:07:150:07:19

Take me somewhere I might have some association.

0:07:190:07:22

Yeah, you've definitely got an association

0:07:220:07:24

with the place we're going.

0:07:240:07:26

Of course he does.

0:07:270:07:28

We're taking Rami back to West London,

0:07:280:07:30

to the site of his first business venture,

0:07:300:07:33

where his entrepreneurial spirit began to pay off.

0:07:330:07:36

And it's a world away from where he started life.

0:07:360:07:38

What was the political situation like when you were born?

0:07:400:07:44

Well, when I was born...

0:07:440:07:45

..you know, there was a division of India on the base of religion.

0:07:480:07:53

Rami was born at a time of great political and religious turmoil.

0:07:550:07:59

In 1947, India gained independence from Britain.

0:07:590:08:04

It was split in two, with the west side becoming Pakistan

0:08:040:08:07

and majority Muslim and the east becoming the Republic of India

0:08:070:08:11

and majority Hindu and Sikh.

0:08:110:08:13

What followed was a bloody civil war, and it's estimated

0:08:130:08:17

that up to a million people died in riots.

0:08:170:08:20

-NEWSREADER:

-Trains crowded with refugees

0:08:200:08:23

make their way to the east, as the fanatical hatred

0:08:230:08:25

between Sikh and Muslim takes a heavy toll of life and property.

0:08:250:08:29

At the time, Rami's father was a prominent lawyer

0:08:290:08:32

and he opposed this partition.

0:08:320:08:35

My father was assassinated

0:08:350:08:37

because he was against the partition of India.

0:08:370:08:40

Sadly, Rami never met his father.

0:08:420:08:44

His mother was seven months pregnant with him when his dad became

0:08:440:08:47

a victim of this bloodshed.

0:08:470:08:49

He tried to help some students who were protesting against

0:08:490:08:52

the partition when he was attacked.

0:08:520:08:54

-So, he was assassinated by fanatics?

-By fanatics.

0:08:560:08:58

My father was already a marked man because he made

0:08:580:09:01

so many speeches against the partition and warned them

0:09:010:09:05

of the consequences of religious disharmony and he said,

0:09:050:09:09

"If you create something on the basis of hatred,

0:09:090:09:11

-"you will never be able to remove that base."

-Right.

0:09:110:09:14

-I was born two months after the assassination.

-Goodness me.

0:09:140:09:18

So then, my mother fled.

0:09:180:09:20

We were eight children - seven brothers, one sister.

0:09:200:09:23

-That must have been so tough for her.

-Very tough. Very tough.

0:09:230:09:26

Rami's mother and her eight children

0:09:260:09:29

fled to the Indian side with nothing.

0:09:290:09:32

Rami was just a month old.

0:09:320:09:34

Their only option was to head straight to a refugee camp.

0:09:340:09:38

Their predicament was a far cry from the elevated status

0:09:390:09:43

they'd had back home.

0:09:430:09:44

My mother...

0:09:450:09:47

was very intelligent, she had brought my father's certificates,

0:09:470:09:51

press cuttings, paper, to demonstrate,

0:09:510:09:54

you know, what we were...

0:09:540:09:56

-Yes.

-..and what we had become.

-Goodness me.

0:09:560:09:58

So she presented that to the Chief Minister.

0:09:580:10:01

The person was very much impressed with the sacrifice of my father,

0:10:010:10:05

trying to save students,

0:10:050:10:07

so they allotted us a free house.

0:10:070:10:10

They said, 'you can have a free house' - and then he said,

0:10:100:10:13

'all your children will study free.'

0:10:130:10:15

It was this generosity shown by selfless people towards Rami

0:10:160:10:19

and his family that's always stayed with him

0:10:190:10:22

and motivated him to want to help others.

0:10:220:10:25

Some people will be so kind.

0:10:260:10:29

We got back to a reasonable standard of life,

0:10:290:10:33

because of the generosity of so many people.

0:10:330:10:36

So, that's how it is, giving is good.

0:10:360:10:39

-Yeah.

-You know, we can make a difference.

0:10:390:10:42

-So, that's stayed with you since childhood then, really, hasn't it?

-Yes.

0:10:420:10:45

If you're going to help somebody,

0:10:450:10:48

-you will never be short of anything.

-Ah-ha.

0:10:480:10:51

You will still get a lot of peace of mind

0:10:510:10:54

and a lot of satisfaction

0:10:540:10:56

that you have been able to make a difference, too.

0:10:560:11:00

And people remember.

0:11:000:11:02

Remembering his humble beginnings and what he's been through

0:11:020:11:06

is certainly having an effect on Rami and reminding him

0:11:060:11:09

how much in debt he is to some very kind people.

0:11:090:11:12

-But it's about to get even more emotional.

-Oh...

0:11:120:11:16

This brings back memories.

0:11:160:11:18

-Really?

-Yes.

0:11:180:11:20

This brings back memory...

0:11:210:11:24

What memories is it bringing back?

0:11:240:11:26

Well, this is... My warehouse used to be here.

0:11:260:11:29

Park Avenue.

0:11:310:11:33

Yes, just up there.

0:11:330:11:34

Oh, I see, you're bringing back to my...roots.

0:11:350:11:40

This is where it all started taking off?

0:11:400:11:42

Yes, it all started taking off in this area.

0:11:420:11:46

-There it is. You see that, er, roof?

-Yeah.

0:11:460:11:50

Because I... we built a little mezzanine.

0:11:500:11:54

You know, there was no office.

0:11:540:11:56

So, that is where we sat, in that...roof.

0:11:560:12:00

Oh, those were the days...

0:12:000:12:02

Such a small warehouse here and we really fighting to get the cargo out

0:12:020:12:07

so we could get more in.

0:12:070:12:10

It was a disaster.

0:12:100:12:11

ALED LAUGHS

0:12:110:12:12

Because, you know, so many times we couldn't take the deliveries in.

0:12:120:12:16

Brilliant.

0:12:160:12:17

We've arrived in Park Royal West London,

0:12:170:12:20

a district of warehouse businesses.

0:12:200:12:22

So, is this bringing back memories for you?

0:12:240:12:27

Oh, this brings back memories.

0:12:270:12:29

This is my humble beginning.

0:12:290:12:31

This is the place, I must salute this place.

0:12:310:12:34

This is the warehouse where Rami's export business really took off,

0:12:350:12:39

0:12:390:12:41

This was the first freehold property which I bought, so this is...

0:12:410:12:46

you know, mother of my business.

0:12:460:12:48

-I love the smile on your face.

-Yes, yes, yes.

0:12:480:12:51

Yes. You know, we were so excited when we first bought it,

0:12:510:12:54

we felt like...

0:12:540:12:56

-King of Arabia.

-ALED LAUGHS

0:12:560:12:57

That we got a freehold property for us.

0:12:570:13:00

-Brilliant.

-Amazing...

-Shall we go in?

-Let's go in.

-Come on.

-Yes.

0:13:000:13:05

Now a pet food wholesaler,

0:13:060:13:08

it was here that Rami's long-held dream of entrepreneurial success

0:13:080:13:12

was finally becoming a reality.

0:13:120:13:14

Oh, dear, oh, dear, oh, dear. This was my warehouse.

0:13:150:13:18

It was a step up from his first premises.

0:13:180:13:22

I'm so pleased to be here.

0:13:220:13:24

I never, ever thought I would ever be coming back. Yes.

0:13:240:13:29

-So, it's a busy place today as well, isn't it?

-Amazing place.

0:13:290:13:32

Oh, dear, oh, dear, oh, dear.

0:13:340:13:36

-Look at this, my office used to be up there.

-OK.

0:13:360:13:39

We used to load containers.

0:13:390:13:40

Unbelievable. We felt like king.

0:13:400:13:43

-You know, when we had our own warehouse.

-Yes.

0:13:430:13:45

-So, oh, my God, I tell you...

-How long were you here for?

0:13:450:13:48

-We were there for nearly... two years?

-Right.

-Yes.

0:13:480:13:52

So when you were here, you started with nothing, really?

0:13:520:13:54

My beginning was I started with just £2 capital,

0:13:540:13:58

a typewriter and somebody had given me their second-hand...

0:13:580:14:01

-desk.

-OK.

-Office desk.

0:14:010:14:04

Rami used these modest tools to start his export business

0:14:040:14:08

from a small rented self storage unit, which he called his shed,

0:14:080:14:12

a mile from here.

0:14:120:14:13

He was there for two years before upgrading premises.

0:14:130:14:17

This is the first warehouse which I bought, from a shed.

0:14:170:14:21

You have no idea how much I had to struggle.

0:14:210:14:23

My own bank manager refused to finance the property,

0:14:230:14:27

so I went to another bank manager and he looked at the plan, he said,

0:14:270:14:31

"Over-ambitious plan, I don't think the bank can support it."

0:14:310:14:35

Despite these knockbacks, Rami never gave up,

0:14:350:14:38

even when he was refused by a third bank.

0:14:380:14:41

It took a fourth attempt to finally get what he wanted.

0:14:410:14:45

I walked to another bank, so the bank manager came out, he said,

0:14:460:14:49

-"How soon do you want the loan?" "Quickly."

-Wow.

0:14:490:14:52

I said, "Within seven days." And we got the loan, we got the property.

0:14:520:14:55

-Wow.

-And I went back to this guy, I say, "You know, in our country,

0:14:550:14:59

"we touch somebody's feet as a mark of...respect."

0:14:590:15:03

So, let me touch your feet. He said, "Why?"

0:15:030:15:06

THEY LAUGH

0:15:060:15:07

"Because you have done me...

0:15:070:15:09

-"greatest favour."

-Yeah.

0:15:090:15:11

-"Now I'm on the road to progress."

-Absolutely.

0:15:110:15:14

"And if you did not finance me,

0:15:140:15:16

"I wouldn't have been going to the next step."

0:15:160:15:19

He was his own boss of an albeit modest operation.

0:15:200:15:24

Rami's freight forwarding company shipped consumer goods to Africa,

0:15:240:15:28

the Middle East and the Caribbean.

0:15:280:15:30

They could be anything from beds, stereos,

0:15:300:15:33

chandeliers and even the odd black cab.

0:15:330:15:36

So, who else was part of the company when you were here?

0:15:360:15:39

-Well, we only had staff of two.

-Oh, OK.

0:15:390:15:42

Yes, when we started.

0:15:420:15:44

Me and another guy, who worked as a driver.

0:15:440:15:47

And they were able to get the secretary.

0:15:470:15:49

It was very happy days here, I must say, because this was a very lucky

0:15:490:15:53

place for us and the business kept growing

0:15:530:15:56

and we were able to manage our own affairs.

0:15:560:16:01

So, without this place, you wouldn't be the company you are now?

0:16:010:16:05

-This is the mother of my companies.

-Oh.

-Yes.

0:16:050:16:07

You know, from here, now I have warehouses,

0:16:070:16:11

nearly 100,000 square feet.

0:16:110:16:13

-I mean, this was just 4,500 square feet.

-Yeah.

0:16:130:16:17

To 100,000 square feet.

0:16:170:16:18

This unit is a fraction of the size of the warehouse that Rami

0:16:200:16:22

uses for his businesses today.

0:16:220:16:24

-Thank God that this property opened the door for me.

-Brilliant.

0:16:270:16:31

And being here now has reinforced that feeling

0:16:310:16:34

that you want to help other people?

0:16:340:16:36

I do, because it's very important. Somebody helped me, yes.

0:16:360:16:41

And look where I am. So, there you are.

0:16:410:16:42

This is an amazing place to be here again.

0:16:420:16:45

-Shall we head off?

-Yes, of course.

-OK.

0:16:450:16:49

Coming up, we've been on the hunt for someone with the

0:16:550:16:58

entrepreneurial spirit that we hope was strike a chord with Rami.

0:16:580:17:02

And we think we've found them.

0:17:020:17:04

She's an ambitious mum, who's juggling looking after her young

0:17:040:17:08

family with getting her business off the ground.

0:17:080:17:11

THEY SQUEAL

0:17:110:17:12

She thinks we're making a programme about aspiring entrepreneurs.

0:17:120:17:16

She has no idea the real reason behind Rami's visit

0:17:160:17:19

and that she could be in for a life-changing gift.

0:17:190:17:22

While Rami had the vision and conviction to build his

0:17:270:17:29

enterprise into a multinational company,

0:17:290:17:32

he had a lot of people supporting and advising him.

0:17:320:17:36

There was one person in particular who was there in the early days.

0:17:360:17:39

This used to your old cafe, yeah?

0:17:390:17:41

Yes, we used to come and have lunch here sometimes.

0:17:410:17:44

Or bring your clients here.

0:17:440:17:47

Oh, my goodness. It's all changed now.

0:17:470:17:49

-You might recognise that man.

-Oh, of course. Of course.

0:17:490:17:52

This is the gentleman. How are you, sir?

0:17:520:17:55

Rami's accountant, Shuja, is here with his wife, Tajalli.

0:17:550:17:59

Rami and Shuja haven't seen each other for ten years.

0:17:590:18:02

-It's been a long time.

-A long time. 10, 12 years.

0:18:020:18:06

-Has he changed at all?

-He is getting younger.

0:18:060:18:08

-Yes.

-Oh!

0:18:080:18:10

-He was the first person to guide me.

-Really?

-Yes.

0:18:100:18:14

He was the guy who told me, "Go your own way, do your own thing."

0:18:140:18:18

Did he give you lots of advice?

0:18:180:18:20

Lots of good advice, lots of good advice.

0:18:200:18:22

"Be straight and don't do any creative accountancy."

0:18:220:18:27

-We'll have a little sit down and a cup of coffee, shall we?

-Very good.

0:18:280:18:31

Shuja was Rami's accountant and financial adviser when he set up

0:18:310:18:35

his company and for the first six years.

0:18:350:18:37

So, when you were working together, was it all work or was there a bit

0:18:380:18:42

of down time, a bit of play as well?

0:18:420:18:44

It was work plus family relationship.

0:18:440:18:47

We knew his in-laws and we just liked each other, I guess.

0:18:470:18:53

Simple as that.

0:18:530:18:56

Because, you know, we were totally novice.

0:18:560:18:58

We had no idea of business, no idea of finance.

0:18:580:19:01

We had nothing. We just started.

0:19:010:19:03

We wanted someone who would give us brotherly advice and guide

0:19:030:19:07

us and everything. So, that's why we gelled.

0:19:070:19:11

We had a very straightforward, serious business and we were

0:19:110:19:15

growing at that time.

0:19:150:19:18

The only thing funny was our own lives.

0:19:180:19:21

We were working all the hours.

0:19:210:19:23

-I've been in the accountancy business for nearly 40 years.

-Gosh.

0:19:230:19:27

A long time.

0:19:270:19:29

And I've seen a few ups and downs in my life.

0:19:290:19:33

From clients' point of view and from my personal point of view.

0:19:330:19:39

But it does give me a lot of pleasure

0:19:400:19:44

-to see people going forward full speed.

-Yeah.

0:19:440:19:48

Because that is how the world should be.

0:19:480:19:50

What I like about this story particularly as well is that he

0:19:500:19:53

hasn't forgotten his humble beginnings either.

0:19:530:19:56

-No, he will never forget it.

-No, can't forget it.

0:19:560:19:59

You can't forget your past.

0:19:590:20:01

How do you feel about Rami going back and giving back?

0:20:010:20:05

We have a duty.

0:20:050:20:08

A duty if whatever we have,

0:20:080:20:11

-different people will have different skills.

-Yeah.

0:20:110:20:16

-And they can all benefit.

-Yes, give back.

0:20:160:20:19

This has clearly been quite the nostalgic reunion for a Rami.

0:20:200:20:23

No, he is so wonderful. I can't repay you enough.

0:20:240:20:27

This is amazing.

0:20:270:20:30

Today for me, is like going to a shrine.

0:20:300:20:35

-Meeting my accountant who put me on the straight.

-Yeah.

0:20:350:20:39

-Good, I'm glad.

-Thank you.

0:20:390:20:41

-This is a great surprise.

-It's a pleasure.

0:20:410:20:43

Amazing surprise.

0:20:430:20:45

-You see, we came just because it was you.

-I know, I know.

0:20:450:20:50

I'm so humbled and so grateful.

0:20:500:20:52

-So happy to meet you.

-Yes, lovely to see you.

0:20:550:20:57

It's really great.

0:20:570:20:59

The journey back to be modest beginnings of where Rami's

0:20:590:21:02

business enterprise started has been truly inspiring.

0:21:020:21:06

This brings back memories.

0:21:060:21:08

This is my humble beginning.

0:21:080:21:10

This is the place. I must salute this place.

0:21:100:21:13

But most importantly, it's made him even more focused.

0:21:150:21:19

Being here now, has it been reinforced that feeling that you

0:21:190:21:22

want to help other people?

0:21:220:21:24

I do, because it's very important.

0:21:240:21:26

Somebody helped me, yes, and look where I am.

0:21:260:21:29

This trip down memory lane has been such an emotional one for a Rami.

0:21:350:21:39

Thanks to the people who believed in him,

0:21:390:21:41

he's turned a small business into an international enterprise.

0:21:410:21:45

An amazing achievement.

0:21:450:21:47

And, you know, he's not forgotten his humble origins.

0:21:470:21:50

Now, you want to give something back to somebody who needed helping hand

0:21:500:21:53

and I think we've found just the person.

0:21:530:21:56

On a south-east London housing estate in Peckham lives 29-year-old

0:21:590:22:03

Yetunde, with her husband and three young children.

0:22:030:22:07

Like Rami, Yetunde came over the UK.

0:22:110:22:14

She was born in Nigeria and arrived here as a nine-year-old.

0:22:140:22:18

And like Rami, Yetunde is also a grafter.

0:22:180:22:21

As well as holding down a regular job,

0:22:240:22:26

looking after the kids and doing all the housework,

0:22:260:22:29

Yetunde designs and tailor-makes dresses

0:22:290:22:31

in the confines of her kitchen.

0:22:310:22:33

She has aspirations of being a fashion designer with her own

0:22:340:22:38

label, so she has that fighting entrepreneurial spirit Rami

0:22:380:22:41

is looking for.

0:22:410:22:43

With these similarities, we've arranged for them to meet.

0:22:460:22:50

I'm going to meet a young lady called Yetunde.

0:22:500:22:52

She has very difficult circumstances,

0:22:530:22:56

but with great ambition.

0:22:560:22:59

This reminds me of my own circumstances.

0:22:590:23:02

I had big plans and I didn't know how to fulfil them.

0:23:020:23:05

This meeting is extremely important and could make a huge difference to

0:23:070:23:12

Yetunde and her family. So, let's hope they hit it off

0:23:120:23:15

and Rami feels he can help her.

0:23:150:23:16

-Good morning.

-Good morning.

-How are you today?

-Oh, I'm fine.

0:23:180:23:21

-Rami Ranger.

-Hiya.

-How are you?

-Fine.

0:23:210:23:23

Take a seat. Do you want a cup of coffee?

0:23:230:23:27

-Water?

-Water will be fine.

-OK.

0:23:270:23:30

Thank you, thank you.

0:23:300:23:32

Yetunde things were making a programme

0:23:320:23:34

about aspiring entrepreneurs.

0:23:340:23:35

She has absolutely no idea that she could be in line for a gift that

0:23:350:23:40

would transform her life.

0:23:400:23:42

So, good to meet you and I'm very curious to find out,

0:23:420:23:45

where did you get this idea to be a fashion designer?

0:23:450:23:48

When I was younger, around seven, my auntie, she was a tailor.

0:23:480:23:53

I used to sit next to her. I used to watch what she does

0:23:530:23:56

and it was fascinating,

0:23:560:23:57

to actually see from cutting to a finished product.

0:23:570:24:01

Yeah, so I would get the scrap of the fabrics and I would make

0:24:010:24:03

those clothes.

0:24:030:24:05

I actually quite enjoyed doing things with my hands.

0:24:050:24:08

Nice for the childhood.

0:24:080:24:10

Yeah, I had fashion in me, because I actually quite enjoy sketching

0:24:100:24:13

and I actually quite enjoy making stuff.

0:24:130:24:15

I'm always happy once I make stuff

0:24:150:24:17

and I see people wearing them and are happy about it.

0:24:170:24:19

-So, that's what makes me want to go.

-It satisfies you, satisfaction.

0:24:190:24:22

Yes, satisfaction.

0:24:220:24:24

But Yetunde's aspirations to be a fashion designer are fraught

0:24:240:24:26

with difficulties.

0:24:260:24:29

As well as having to run after her three young children,

0:24:290:24:32

she also has to care for her husband,

0:24:320:24:35

who has sickle cell anaemia -

0:24:350:24:36

an incredibly painful and debilitating genetic disease.

0:24:360:24:40

It means he finds it difficult to work and relies heavily on his wife.

0:24:400:24:44

I'm very proud of her, because she's a very strong woman.

0:24:460:24:50

Yetunde also does all the cooking and cleaning, whilst holding down

0:24:500:24:53

a job as a hospital appointments coordinator

0:24:530:24:56

to support her young family.

0:24:560:24:58

-Are you full-time there or part-time?

-I was full-time before.

0:24:580:25:02

I cut it down to two days, so that I can concentrate on my

0:25:020:25:05

business and also try and concentrate on my family as

0:25:050:25:08

well, because my husband has got sickle cell as well.

0:25:080:25:11

-Oh, your husband has sickle cell?

-Yeah.

0:25:110:25:12

-Is it sickle cell anaemia?

-Anaemia, yeah.

0:25:120:25:14

-That's a very painful one.

-Yes, it's a very painful one.

0:25:140:25:17

-So, you're looking after your husband?

-Yeah.

0:25:170:25:19

-You're looking at your child?

-Children, yeah.

0:25:190:25:21

-And you are also doing part-time job?

-Yeah.

0:25:210:25:24

Plus you're trying to mix with your...

0:25:240:25:27

-Business work, yeah.

-Oh, you're a tough girl.

0:25:270:25:31

Yetunde's fighting spirit in the face of all her challenges clearly

0:25:310:25:35

impresses Rami, as does her entrepreneurial resolve.

0:25:350:25:38

Yetunde specialises in designing and making dresses using African

0:25:400:25:44

prints with modern-day fabrics.

0:25:440:25:46

Her primary models are her children,

0:25:480:25:49

Arafat,

0:25:490:25:52

Alamin

0:25:520:25:54

and Amira.

0:25:540:25:56

Mum is a very great sew artist.

0:25:560:25:58

She's fantastic.

0:25:580:26:00

And she makes good clothes for us, even when we go to parties.

0:26:020:26:07

It takes Yetunde just three hours to make a simple dress,

0:26:070:26:10

but up to a week to make a more complicated bridesmaid dress.

0:26:100:26:14

So, do you already have some customers?

0:26:150:26:17

-Yes, some customers.

-And are you getting repeat orders?

0:26:170:26:20

-Yeah, I do get repeat orders.

-Well, that's it. That's a company.

0:26:200:26:23

When you start getting repeat orders, that is a very,

0:26:230:26:26

very big compliment.

0:26:260:26:27

That means your product has arrived.

0:26:270:26:31

Yetunde's friends were her first clients before she launched her

0:26:320:26:36

fashion business six months ago.

0:26:360:26:38

But already, she's in demand.

0:26:380:26:40

Just this month, she was paid £700 for her bespoke designs.

0:26:400:26:44

Are you making money?

0:26:460:26:48

I could say a bit of money, but not what I would love to make now.

0:26:480:26:52

But you wouldn't be able to give up your job full-time?

0:26:520:26:55

-Not at the moment, no.

-OK.

0:26:550:26:57

So, you've made some,

0:26:570:26:58

but if the business was to grow... And I think it will grow now.

0:26:580:27:01

-Yes, I would.

-So, then you could give up the job.

0:27:010:27:04

-Exactly, that's my... Yeah.

-I see.

0:27:040:27:07

That's wonderful.

0:27:070:27:09

So, don't give up.

0:27:090:27:10

Yetunde wants to expand her business, which is already growing.

0:27:100:27:14

She gets commissions through word-of-mouth

0:27:140:27:17

and marketing and designs on social media.

0:27:170:27:19

But her success is impacting on the whole family.

0:27:190:27:24

She makes good clothes, but she fills up the whole kitchen

0:27:240:27:29

and the sitting room, so me and my brother and my sister and my dad

0:27:290:27:34

don't have nowhere to go.

0:27:340:27:37

Just like Rami wanting to build up his business from a shed,

0:27:370:27:39

Yetunde is struggling to take things forward from her tiny kitchen.

0:27:390:27:44

And how is the business progressing now?

0:27:440:27:46

Well, I've just started, so I'm looking forward to it

0:27:460:27:49

progressing into something big in the future.

0:27:490:27:53

But right now, I'm trying to work from the kitchen as you can see.

0:27:530:27:56

Yes, yes. No, I can see.

0:27:560:27:58

You bring back my memories. I started my business from a shed.

0:27:580:28:03

-Wow.

-You know, a rented shed a few years back and coming to you

0:28:030:28:07

has taken me back to my old days when I was trying to make

0:28:070:28:11

a success of my business.

0:28:110:28:14

A lot of people didn't realise. A lot of people thought I was just

0:28:140:28:17

-talking, you know.

-I know how you feel, yeah.

0:28:170:28:20

It's clear Yetunde's passion and determination are resonating

0:28:200:28:24

with Rami and reminding him of his younger self.

0:28:240:28:27

And making a success of her business will be

0:28:290:28:31

a huge benefit for the whole family.

0:28:310:28:34

I'm going to be very happy,

0:28:340:28:36

because that's what she's wanted from the beginning.

0:28:360:28:38

So, I will be very, very happy.

0:28:380:28:40

As long as she's happy, I'm happy.

0:28:400:28:44

What Rami wants to know now is how Yetunde plans to expand her business

0:28:450:28:48

and make her dream of being a top fashion designer come true.

0:28:480:28:53

What can help you to achieve your ambition?

0:28:530:28:57

Advertising.

0:28:570:28:59

-Yeah.

-Loads of my stuff, I would need some models.

0:28:590:29:04

And I need space as well.

0:29:040:29:06

As I keep saying, I know I can do a lot, but without space,

0:29:060:29:09

sometimes I get frustrated working around here.

0:29:090:29:11

I know, I can see everywhere you've got your dresses on the tables.

0:29:110:29:14

But because I'm determined...

0:29:140:29:16

Plus you need an atmosphere of work-like atmosphere,

0:29:160:29:19

-not in the house.

-Exactly. Yeah, yeah. Exactly.

0:29:190:29:21

When I'm sewing, I'm in my own world,

0:29:210:29:23

so I'm concentrating on what I'm doing.

0:29:230:29:25

And I find it hard sometimes to do that when the kids are around

0:29:250:29:30

and making so much noise.

0:29:300:29:32

I have to pick up things for them, do this and do that.

0:29:320:29:35

But it's not just space that Yetunde needs,

0:29:360:29:39

she'd also love some new equipment.

0:29:390:29:41

I wanted to buy an industrial sewing machine.

0:29:410:29:44

These are not strong.

0:29:440:29:46

I've had to change that machine like twice now.

0:29:460:29:48

-Because it's not tough enough?

-It's not tough enough.

0:29:480:29:51

-Robust enough.

-Yeah, and also if I buy industrial, there is

0:29:510:29:54

-no space to put it round the house.

-Sure.

0:29:540:29:57

There's no doubt that Rami has been taken by Yetunde and her passion

0:29:570:30:01

and ambition to fight against the odds

0:30:010:30:03

and make it as a fashion designer.

0:30:030:30:05

So, I think you have a very bright future.

0:30:050:30:08

-I can see your positive attitude.

-Thank you.

0:30:080:30:11

You are a tough girl. It's been wonderful meeting you.

0:30:110:30:14

-Thank you for having me.

-Thank you very much. Thank you.

0:30:140:30:17

-Thank you. And have a great day.

-You too.

-Thank you.

0:30:170:30:20

OK, I'll just show you to the door.

0:30:230:30:25

This meeting has been pivotal for both Yetunde and Rami.

0:30:250:30:29

It was such an inspirational experience.

0:30:320:30:35

It brought back memories.

0:30:350:30:38

You know, I was once in her situation,

0:30:380:30:40

but I was actually moved listening to her story,

0:30:400:30:43

how determined she is. And with all the difficult circumstances

0:30:430:30:47

surrounding her, she still wants to realise her ambition and

0:30:470:30:50

wants to make the difference.

0:30:500:30:52

Rami sees so much of his younger self in Yetunde,

0:30:560:31:00

She has that drive and passion he had as

0:31:000:31:02

a young entrepreneur to build her fashion business and make

0:31:020:31:06

a name for herself, in spite of all her challenges.

0:31:060:31:09

But deciding whether Yetunde is truly deserving of his help

0:31:090:31:12

is quite a task.

0:31:120:31:14

So, he's seeking the advice of his business partners -

0:31:140:31:17

his wife, Renu, and right-hand man Ray.

0:31:170:31:19

I went to see a young lady in Peckham, her name is Yetunde,

0:31:190:31:25

and she has extraordinary circumstances.

0:31:250:31:28

Her husband is not well, so she has to take care of her husband,

0:31:280:31:32

three young kids, she works part-time in a hospital and

0:31:320:31:36

then, on top of that, she has a desire to build her own business.

0:31:360:31:39

So, she makes dresses from her living room and she is trying to

0:31:390:31:46

build that business from scratch.

0:31:460:31:48

So, I wanted to know if it will be all right for us to help her,

0:31:480:31:54

because she is a very honourable young lady and she has big plans.

0:31:540:31:58

-So, do you think we should consider her?

-Absolutely, absolutely.

0:31:580:32:02

It's very difficult to start a business, as you know.

0:32:020:32:06

It's very difficult to get the help from the bank people, for sure.

0:32:060:32:11

Yeah, I think it's a very good idea.

0:32:110:32:13

To have that little bit of pressure taken off of her.

0:32:130:32:16

What you think?

0:32:160:32:17

I'm sure she's torn between the three children and then she's

0:32:170:32:20

got her business and then trying to get that of the ground.

0:32:200:32:24

So, she's working, she is doing all that, she's being the

0:32:240:32:26

breadwinner, plus the mum, plus the cook, plus a cleaner.

0:32:260:32:30

-Everything.

-So, I think, if we could, yeah.

0:32:300:32:33

And so far, her business is giving good signs.

0:32:330:32:37

So, there is a sign to progress.

0:32:370:32:40

She reminds me of my own story.

0:32:400:32:42

Do you remember the day when we were packing, unloading, loading,

0:32:420:32:47

-going to the airport?

-Those were the days.

0:32:470:32:50

Those were the days. Standing in the queue.

0:32:500:32:52

-Where you had to do everything yourself.

-Yes, I remember.

0:32:520:32:54

We've come a long way.

0:32:540:32:56

I was lucky, because I have my wife, Renu, to help me when I started my

0:32:560:33:00

business and she supported me.

0:33:000:33:03

-So, we all agree?

-Absolutely.

0:33:030:33:05

It would be nice to give something back.

0:33:050:33:07

For Rami getting Renu and Ray's blessing to support Yetunde

0:33:070:33:10

means absolutely everything.

0:33:100:33:13

After all, Rami and Yetunde are well and truly kindred spirits.

0:33:130:33:17

Now that we've gone back into his past,

0:33:170:33:19

Rami needs to think of the future and decide in what way

0:33:190:33:22

he can make a life-changing difference

0:33:220:33:25

to Yetunde and her family.

0:33:250:33:26

So, I'm on my way to catch up with Rami.

0:33:360:33:38

I know that during the week, he met up with Yetunde.

0:33:380:33:40

I'm really interested to hear what he thought of her.

0:33:400:33:43

They are polar opposites when it comes to wealth.

0:33:430:33:45

Yes, of course they are. But rather similar

0:33:450:33:47

when it comes to entrepreneurial spirit. I think so, anyway.

0:33:470:33:50

Seeing Yetunde struggle must have really reminded Rami of how

0:33:500:33:53

he struggled when he started out in life.

0:33:530:33:55

I wonder if he's willing to help fulfil her business potential.

0:33:550:33:59

Let's go and find out.

0:33:590:34:01

Rami is waiting for me just around the corner

0:34:060:34:09

from a park where Yetunde has gathered friends

0:34:090:34:11

for a photoshoot to model her latest designs

0:34:110:34:14

to advertise on social media, so it's time to find out

0:34:140:34:17

precisely what Rami's decided for the unstoppable entrepreneur.

0:34:170:34:22

-Hey, Rami! How are you?

-How are you?

-Nice to see you again.

0:34:220:34:25

-Very good to see you. Thank you.

-So, you've met up with Yetunde.

0:34:250:34:29

-Yes, I did. What an experience.

-Really?

0:34:290:34:32

Yes, she's an inspirational young lady, and listening to her story,

0:34:320:34:36

-I was really moved.

-In what way?

0:34:360:34:39

It brought back memories for me and I felt exactly as she was feeling today.

0:34:390:34:44

Another immigrant like myself, you know,

0:34:440:34:46

trying to realise her ambition and dreams.

0:34:460:34:49

I could really experience the determination and the motivation

0:34:490:34:56

she has to rise above

0:34:560:34:57

all the challenges she's facing at the moment.

0:34:570:35:00

-Yeah, cos she's struggling with space at the moment, isn't she?

-Yes.

0:35:000:35:04

So have you decided that you're going to help her?

0:35:040:35:06

-Yes, I'm going to help her, definitely.

-In what way?

0:35:060:35:09

First things first.

0:35:090:35:10

She's looking for space and I'm going to offer her

0:35:100:35:13

a space in my warehouse, free of charge, she can stay there,

0:35:130:35:17

-no bill for electricity, no water, no gas.

-Wow!

0:35:170:35:20

And the other thing is,

0:35:200:35:22

because you know we are exporting to Africa,

0:35:220:35:25

the people from all over Africa come visit me

0:35:250:35:27

-and then she'll be able to make contact with these people.

-Wow.

0:35:270:35:31

And I will also help design her a catalogue and I have

0:35:310:35:36

-an in-house design team, so we will help her get a catalogue...

-Wow.

0:35:360:35:41

..ready for her, and she also needs an industrial sewing machine.

0:35:410:35:45

-At the moment, she's using a domestic machine...

-Right.

0:35:450:35:47

..which breaks down, it's not as fast,

0:35:470:35:49

so I'll give her the industrial sewing machine so she can work fast.

0:35:490:35:53

Wow! Rami, all this sounds like a fortune!

0:35:530:35:57

The gift of providing Yetunde with warehouse space and buying her

0:35:570:36:01

an industrial sewing machine will cost Rami around £7,000.

0:36:010:36:06

Britain has been great to me. I came here with nothing.

0:36:060:36:09

Now with the help of so many people, I have something now,

0:36:090:36:13

so it's only fair that I can also share,

0:36:130:36:15

so I'm going to help her, and also I will guide her

0:36:150:36:19

so she can learn how to build a world-class company from nothing.

0:36:190:36:23

I think you're being so, so generous, I really do, Rami.

0:36:230:36:26

Have you put all your thoughts down in a letter, have you?

0:36:260:36:29

-Yes, I have done a letter to her in my own handwriting.

-OK.

0:36:290:36:32

Well, I know that she's in a park.

0:36:320:36:34

-I think we should go and surprise her now, don't you?

-Let's do that.

0:36:340:36:36

-Come on.

-Let's do it. Thank you.

0:36:360:36:38

It's that exciting moment - telling Yetunde what we've really been

0:36:400:36:44

up to, and for her to discover that her life's about to change for ever.

0:36:440:36:49

So how are you feeling?

0:36:490:36:50

Oh, well, I'm really excited,

0:36:500:36:52

looking forward to meeting her and to trying to surprise her.

0:36:520:36:56

Well, we'll definitely surprise her.

0:36:560:36:57

She has no idea you're coming, she has no idea I'm coming.

0:36:570:37:00

-I'm getting a bit nervous.

-Oh, well. This is going to be fun.

0:37:000:37:03

Yeah, she's having a little photo session with her friends

0:37:030:37:06

just behind that bush over there, I think, so...

0:37:060:37:09

-Like to capture her expression.

-Yeah. Should be good.

0:37:090:37:12

-I want to surprise her.

-Absolutely.

0:37:120:37:15

I just hope she can read your writing!

0:37:150:37:17

-I hope so, otherwise you'll have to help her.

-OK.

0:37:170:37:19

She hasn't seen us yet.

0:37:240:37:26

She's now seen us, I think.

0:37:260:37:29

Hi!

0:37:290:37:30

-Where's Yetunde?

-Oh, Yetunde! How are you?

0:37:320:37:34

-Come over here.

-Hello!

0:37:340:37:37

-Hi! I'm Aled Jones from the BBC.

-Yeah?

0:37:370:37:41

Don't look so frightened. Nice to see you.

0:37:410:37:43

Now, listen, you thought you were doing

0:37:430:37:45

-a programme just about aspiring entrepreneurs.

-Yeah.

0:37:450:37:49

Well, it's not the whole story, is it, Rami?

0:37:490:37:52

-How are you?

-I'm fine.

0:37:520:37:54

-Nice to see you again. Yes?

-Thank you.

0:37:540:37:56

-You have done some magic on me.

-I have to come back again to meet you.

0:37:560:38:01

-Oh, I'm so shocked. I never thought you would come back.

-Yeah.

0:38:010:38:04

There you are. I have something for you.

0:38:040:38:07

I hope you can read my handwriting, so here you are, this is a letter.

0:38:070:38:12

-Will you read it out loud?

-All right.

0:38:120:38:14

-Take your time.

-When do I start?

-Just start at the beginning.

0:38:140:38:18

"It was inspiring to meet you on Monday.

0:38:180:38:21

"Listening to your life experience brought back memories

0:38:210:38:24

"of the time when I found myself in a similar situation,

0:38:240:38:29

"when I was working hard to take my business off the ground.

0:38:290:38:33

-"Your story..."

-Of courage.

0:38:330:38:35

"..of courage and determination and...I found it not only

0:38:350:38:40

"inspiring, but also moving.

0:38:400:38:43

"To help you on your way,

0:38:430:38:45

"I would like to offer you some guidance and practical help.

0:38:450:38:50

"To start with, I would like to help you design a catalogue...

0:38:500:38:54

Of your dresses.

0:38:540:38:56

"..of your dresses, and designs so that you can distribute them

0:38:560:39:02

"among your potential customers.

0:39:020:39:05

-"I would also like to buy you an industrial sewing machine..."

-Whoo!

0:39:050:39:11

-"..and also offer you space in my warehouse."

-There you are.

0:39:110:39:18

I'm shaking!

0:39:200:39:21

"And I will also offer you space in my warehouse

0:39:240:39:28

"so that you can expand and have more space to grow.

0:39:280:39:33

"Best wishes, Rami." Thank you! Thank you.

0:39:330:39:37

-Thank you. Thank you.

-How are you feeling?

-All shaky. I can't stand.

0:39:370:39:42

Don't faint on me! Don't faint on me!

0:39:420:39:45

-It's amazing, isn't it?

-Yeah.

-So you've got space in the warehouse.

0:39:450:39:50

-In the warehouse.

-For how long?

-As long as you want.

-Thank you!

0:39:500:39:55

-At least for a year.

-Thank you.

0:39:550:39:57

-And so you've got a new industrial sewing machine and also the catalogue.

-Oh, I'm so grateful.

0:39:570:40:04

It will be a beautiful catalogue with your dresses and designs,

0:40:040:40:08

-so you can send it all over the world.

-Thank you very much!

0:40:080:40:11

-I'm so happy.

-Thank you.

0:40:110:40:13

-Thank you.

-Thank you. God bless you.

0:40:130:40:15

What difference do you think this'll make to your company?

0:40:150:40:19

Um...expand it and people will be able to see what I can do

0:40:190:40:23

and offer the whole world my designs, so help me to be able to work harder

0:40:230:40:28

and more space and to be more creative, so...

0:40:280:40:33

Oh, don't cry! You'll set me off!

0:40:350:40:37

-Ah.

-There you are.

-Thank you.

0:40:390:40:41

It's your story, your determination, your courage,

0:40:410:40:47

that makes the world tick.

0:40:470:40:48

Shall we have a round of applause for them both?

0:40:480:40:51

Ah!

0:40:540:40:58

-Are you happy?

-Yes! Very.

-Thank you very much.

-Thank you.

0:40:580:41:02

-It's a pleasure.

-Can we have a picture, of, you know...

0:41:020:41:04

Yeah, are we going to have a picture? Do you want to all come in, have a photo?

0:41:040:41:08

Yes, we can all have a photo. All beautiful girls, come on.

0:41:080:41:11

-You've got to smile, yeah?

-Yes. Come on, come on, come on.

0:41:110:41:14

-Got it?

-Thank you. This is so wonderful.

-You're shaking!

0:41:170:41:21

I'm shaking.

0:41:210:41:23

Well, it's lovely to meet you, and good luck with the business.

0:41:280:41:32

-Thank you very much, really appreciate it.

-No problem.

0:41:320:41:34

-Thank you very much.

-And we look forward to seeing you.

-Thank you.

0:41:340:41:37

I'm so happy.

0:41:370:41:38

We'll leave you to it,

0:41:400:41:41

to your photoshoot now and all the very best to you. There we go.

0:41:410:41:45

-Come on, then, Rami.

-Thank you.

-Bye-bye, guys! See you!

0:41:450:41:49

CHATTERING

0:41:490:41:51

It's so good. Thank you.

0:41:530:41:55

Oh, it's...

0:41:550:41:57

I'm speechless. I wasn't expecting it. I was just shocked.

0:41:570:42:03

I just wanted to, like, show my dresses.

0:42:030:42:06

I wasn't sure what was going to happen, but I'm happy.

0:42:060:42:09

I'm just speechless! Dunno what to say.

0:42:100:42:14

I felt humbled and I felt so lucky to be

0:42:140:42:18

in a position where I am able to help someone, you know.

0:42:180:42:22

I had no idea this would be so emotional experience.

0:42:220:42:27

I nearly cried with her.

0:42:270:42:29

I can't believe what's happening.

0:42:290:42:31

Oh, my God, I'm so excited for her cos this is all what she wanted,

0:42:310:42:35

so I'm really happy for her.

0:42:350:42:37

I am so proud of her because I do... I have been behind her

0:42:370:42:41

and I know how much hard work she puts in for this work to come out looking like this.

0:42:410:42:46

I'm just so...

0:42:480:42:50

I'm excited, I'm looking forward to everything else after this.

0:42:500:42:53

I'm really excited. But now I can work towards my dream.

0:42:530:42:59
