and pH readings sometimes go on to surprise us all and do really well.

She got over her infection.

Yeah, and the next thing is to get her breathing by herself.

You're not going to take her off the ventilator, are you,

No, we wouldn't do that. We won't just take her off.

-We gradually reduce the pressure and...

We get her to stretch her lungs and in a couple of days, hopefully,

the ventilator will just be kicking in when she needs it.
