-I had my first audition in February.

-so started the show with a bang.

-It's been brilliant and my Facebook

-has crashed so I can't use it!

-People are going nuts on Twitter

-and Wales and Trinity are behind me.

-I keep getting text messages

-and phone calls.

-Mam-gu doesn't use the Internet...

-..so I had to tell her

-that she's in the newspaper.

-is almost as famous as you.

-she's my biggest fan.

-you auditioned for The X Factor.

-Me, Mam, Dad and Mam-gu left home at

-8.00am and travelled to Manchester.

-It was incredible.

-Mam-gu is a bit older so they made

-sure we had tea and some seats.

-It was about twelve hours of filming

-so we didn't get home until 3.00am.

-Mam-gu was still smiling and said

-it was the highlight of her life.

-Christine looks good on that panel.

-I know Nanny Chris was with you

-but how did you feel?

-That room looks massive

-on the television.

-Yes, and it was so quiet.

-The judges have high expectations

-I was shaking so held Mam-gu's hand

-Were all the judges nice?

-It was unusual because Alesha was

-on the panel sitting in for Nicole.

-The judges were lovely

-and very welcoming to me and Mam-gu.

-Sharon was blowing Mam-gu kisses

-and it made us feel relaxed.

-We were nervous but agreed that they

-were lovely and it was so memorable.

-I think it's a great track

-Having an indoor facility and not

-an outdoor track was disappointing.

-Lee has suffered terribly during his

-life but agreed to chat to Rhodri...

-How is the first album coming along?

-It's great and

-I'm enjoying every moment.

-I've written and composed

-the album...

-..and we're currently in the studio

-recording it with other musicians.

-We have a sponsorship website

-and 10% of the profit...

-..will go towards the hospital

-that cared for me.

-The album tells

-your incredible story.

-I had cancer

-in the roof of my mouth.

-They had to remove the roof of my

-mouth, the teeth and gums.

-They reconstructed it with the

-bone from my leg.

-I couldn't walk and was fed

-through a tube into my stomach.

-I couldn't talk or sing and it was a

-very difficulty and long process.

-I broke down after everything that

-had happened to me through my life.

-How bad did things get?

-I tried to commit suicide.

-It wasn't depression, but something

-different, something far stronger.

-Everything had caught up to me

-and I had a complete breakdown.

-I didn't think I could ever live

-and be perfectly happy.

-Over the months

-after leaving hospital...

-..I felt there was something

-important happening to me.

-The things I was upset about and

-couldn't accept had gone.

-You've rediscovered music and that

-is a big part of your story.

-The idea for the album came...

-..when I wanted to know

-what had happened to me...

-..and when I needed to realise

-what my life was actually about.

-The questions I ask myself are very

-spiritual and are put into my songs.

-What are our lives about and

-why are we all here?

-There are a few Welsh talents

-on the album.

-The album is being recorded in Wales

-and this is where it all started.

-Brad Jones will be singing on the

-album and he has a wonderful voice.

-Ffion Wyn Davies is a wonderful

-saxophonist on the album.

-Lee sent me a message a few months

-ago and told me about the idea.

-He wanted a song with voices, piano

-and the saxophone.

-I had no idea how it would work,

-but was excited.

-It's wonderful to see Lee's vision

-coming together.

-Lee is great as helps me to sing

-and he's very patient.

-He also likes to help people.

-How does it feel at your age

-to be on an album?

-I'm delighted as many other children

-wouldn't get this opportunity.

-I hope people will listen

-to the album...

-..and feel better about themselves.

-you must be happy with yourself.

-the annual Crymych Food Festival.

-in 2000 by a small group of people.

-Five years ago, the Welsh Language

-Initiative took over the meetings.

-Local help means the festival

-is going from strength to strength.

-Last year, we held it at Preseli

-School to have it on one site.

-There's cooking demonstrations,

-craft workshops, home crafts...

-..a fair for the children

-and a whole lot more.

-It unites the community

-and showcases the local produce.

-There's a lot of local producers...

-..and they get to show their work

-at the Crymych Food Festival.

-As a local girl, I was honoured

-to officially open the festival.

-We're lucky

-to have high quality produce...

-..and would be at a loss

-without our food producers.

-It's very important

-to have these food festivals.

-I'm delighted to announce

-that the food festival is open.

-Spend and sample the wonderful food

-we have in the Welsh countryside.

-Like every food festival,

-we got to see experts at work.

-It's my first time and

-good to meet the local producers.

-This is also a day out

-marks a milestone for one performer.

-Yes, it's Bryn Fon and his band who

-were formerly Sobin a'r Smaeliaid.

-They have played here for many years

-but their time comes to an end.

-How are you feeling?

-I'm very emotional as I've had

-a long relationship with the show.

-We started in 1991 and Sobin

-had been running for a few years.

-This small, local show

-was struggling...

-..so a group of local youngsters

-approached the committee...

-..with the idea of hosting a gig

-in this marquee.

-Over the years, the gig attracts

-close to 2,000 people...

-..to this small corner

-of West Wales.

-What's the audience like?

-It's big, loud, wild and noisy!

-We're proud of all we've achieved

-as a rock 'n' roll band.

-People think bands turn up,

-play and get drunk!

-All of a sudden, this rock 'n' roll

-had saved a small, rural show.

-It united the community and

-attracted people from across Wales.

-These days,

-people flock here by the bus load!

-The band did their sound check a few

-hours before the live performance.

-Things tend to go wrong

-after the audience has arrived!

-I'll have some food and relax

-and watch the Wales v Austria game!

-..by the organizers, Jones family

-and Blaencyff Farm.

-A coffee is lovely.

-Twenty years ago, it would have been

-a bottle of whiskey or ten pints!

-We didn't know anyone at our first

-year and just made the booking.

-We gave the fee

-and asked for a hotel.

-We got the best price by organizing

-accommodation for them.

-They stayed here

-so we got it cheaper.

-They have stayed here every year

-since that time.

-Our family would move out

-to sleep in the caravan.

-Bryn Fon sleeps in my bed

-during the Llandysul Show.

-He isn't in bed with me

-but I thought it was great.

-I had to explain it to everyone.

-It's 27 years so he's been singing

-for almost half of my life.

-We're all country folk who have

-something for the countryside.

-quite a distance to get here.

-It takes an hour to get here by bus.

-and it's a great night.

-sang the favourites with gusto.
