-minister for many years.

-I can now pronounce you

-husband and wife.

-I was in college with Sian

-and today is very emotional.

-Sian is my best friend and she

-calls me her oldest friend - whoa!

-It's a fantastic day

-and she looks spectacular.

-I've known Sian for over 15 years

-and have been on holidays together.

-I was starstruck when we first met

-and haven't stopped talking since.

-Today brings back those memories

-as she marries Don.

-When she announced her wedding I

-hoped she wanted one of my dresses.

-We only had a month to prepare

-and the fabric arrived ten days ago.

-We haven't stopped sewing but it's

-an honour as she's a dear friend.

-Sian and I have been friends

-for about 25 years...

-..so she's a very good friend.

-The dress is stunning

-and she looks beautiful today.

-We're all going to enjoy the day.

-It's been a long time coming and

-planned it for about five months.

-In reality, we've been planning it

-for about 15 years.

-I woke this morning

-and I was staying with Angharad.

-Both of us couldn't believe

-it was Sian's wedding day.

-Don and Sian have been together for

-so many years and suit each other.

-I'm so delighted

-to be part of their day.

-I thought we'd need a canoe

-as there were floods up the valley.

-The car made its way through it

-and everything has gone to plan.

-the Yonex Badminton Championships.

-I started playing with a local club

-when I was about 8 years old.

-I fell in love with the sport.

-and won on the Pan-European circuit.

-It's a hard game but a fantastic

-matches and were at halfway point.

-This is Mental health awareness week

-You say that it stole

-your youth and your life.

-You were down to four Brussel

-sprouts a day...

-..and recovery was increasing

-from 8 rice krispies to ten.

-I was fascinated when I was

-asked to write the story.

-There are so many people

-who are suffering.

-If I can do anything to help others

-who are suffering...

-..I am happy to do so.

-Was it a difficult decision

-to write the book.

-It was hard to start writing.

-I kept a diary for the nine weeks

-I was in hospital.

-I read back through it and that was

-quite harrowing.

-I was very low and felt that I had

-no other choice.

-I was captive in that small room and

-had to eat to get well again.

-The anorexia started

-at the age of ten for you.

-The illness took hold of me at the

-age of ten.

-The pressure of being on stage was

-incredible.

-I loved being on stage but I

-recall looking at myself...

-..wearing a tutu and thinking

-that I looked fat.

-I started restricting my calorie

-intake and doing excess exercise.

-had to the book?

-There is nothing else like this in

-the Welsh language.

-There is still a stigma attached to

-the illness...

-..and there are huge waiting lists

-for support.

-Charities like Mind can do so much

-to help.

-They have helplines and support

-groups.

-We are doing a sponsored walk along

-Offa's Dyke.

-There are two teams setting off from

-opposite ends.

-You'll be raising money

-We will all be walking for 22 hours

-and meeting at Chirk castle.

-We want to raise money for Mind so

-practising at the national centre.

-The women's team have been

-very successful recently...

-World Championships in Indonesia.

-Rhodri Gomer met with the Welsh

-representative of the team.

-when we compete...

-..including time trials a

-straight sprint down the river.

-There's a head to head, where we

-race against another raft...

-..and the raft which doesn't come

-first is out of the contest.

-The slalom race includes gates

-as we see on the Cardiff course.

-We complete the contests

-with an endurance race.

-Over the years we've been very

-successful in the sprint...

-..time trial and head to head.

-We've won eight European medals and

-ten world medals due to the sprint.

-In Indonesia,

-we competed against Russia...

-..and managed to get ahead of them.

-It was quite a battle and we managed

-to win the gold medal.

-The feat that the girls have managed

-to achieve is incredible...

-..when considering that each

-one works full time.

-They only come together

-once a month.

-They first got together

-ten years ago...

-..and have achieved great success

-as they know each other so well...

-..including their strengths

-and weaknesses.

-The team were confident as they

-travelled to Indonesia in December.

-The expectations were very high

-in the sprint competition.

-Over the year, we put a lot of work

-missed out on a medal.

-However, we won a gold in

-trial contest.

-We were in pole position

-Unfortunately, the race didn't go

-opportunities to try the sport.
