-I played football for years so this

-was very different.

-I feel great, but I'm pleased

-We get up very early in the morning.

-Every challenge is difficult

-and a big change for us.

-We all enjoyed ourselves.

-There was a lot of tension

-in the kitchen.

-In those circumstances,

-you can't be anyone but yourself.

-There were some clashing

-personalities.

-However, we didn't see any fights.

-The best team won in the end.

-I managed to burn the salmon.

-There was also a gravy that

-However, we rose to the challenge.

-Pryd o Ser have done a wedding meal

-..but it was a false scenario.

-However, this was for real.

-The final was on the Friday.

-Sian and Gethin weren't happy with

-our meals on the Thursday.

-We had a practise run

-that didn't go very well.

-You put salt in the sorbet.

-Caryl put salt in the sorbet.

-She realised her mistake

-just before it went out.

-She cried whilst we all laughed!

-It was a genuine mistake.

-However, everything went well

-on the Friday.

-We thought we saw you

-crying in one clip.

-There's one shot

-that shows me very emotional.

-I can't remember the moment but

-they've edited me chopping onions!

-Did you manage to keep the result

-a secret?

-The series was filmed back

-in the autumn.

-I kept my win a secret

-until last Wednesday.

-I let it slip on the phone

-with my wife, Nicola.

-I managed to keep it a secret for

-six months.

-I was shocked to win.

-It was a surprise to win

-as an individual...

-..as we all worked as a team.

-We were very close.

-I'm thrilled that I won.

-You must be competitive as

-a footballer.

-I'm very competitive

-but I've been taught to stay cool.

-Chefs are shouted at,

-the same as footballers.

-I enjoyed the pressure I was under.

-The series has taught me

-not to cook every again!

-No, I've learnt to respect the work

-and I have presented the awards.

-I love being asked.

-The ceremony needs a confident

-and talented person, like Gethin...

-..to leave a legend like me to

-talk gibberish and to shout things!

-from Patagonia, Fabio?

-I'm originally from Patagonia.

-I was born and raised in Dolafon

-in the Welsh colony.

-I spoke Spanish most of the time...

-..but Welsh with my mother and

-grandmother.

-How did you meet?

-We met in 2001.

-I was working there.

-I taught in Trelew.

-Fabio had been working in the

-school before me.

-That's how we met.

-Within a year,

-we returned to Wales together.

-We have two children,

-Ifan and Miriam.

-Why did you decide to return

-to Patagonia for a year?

-We decided to head to Patagonia

-for a year.

-When Ifan was born, we said that it

-would be great to go to Patagonia.

-We wanted to teach them

-about their Argentinean roots.

-We wanted them to learn

-the language too.

-Yesterday was a momentous year

-for the Colony.

-Therefore,

-we decided to travel there.

-Did you have a year of holidays,

-Ifan?

-I didn't have a holiday

-as I had to go to school.

-I prefer being schooled in Wales.

-What languages did you speak

-in Patagonia?

-Whilst at school,

-we spoke Welsh and Spanish.

-I can now speak Spanish.

-Miriam speaks Spanish too.

-You have fantastic accents.

-It was a difficult decision to make.

-We had to give up our jobs here

-in Wales.

-I had decided that I wanted

-to return to Patagonia.

-I wanted my children

-to meet my family there.

-We had to pack in our jobs

-and go for it.

-You must have had a busy year.

-Yes, it was a very busy year.

-There were so many events taking

-place in the country.

-There was a festival to celebrate

-the Welsh landing.

-We taught classes at a primary

-school and adults.

-I worked with the initiative

-in the country.

-We had to arrange lots of events and

-trips in Patagonia.

-We couldn't speak Welsh when

-shopping...

-..but we could in our work.

-We spoke Welsh every day.

-I didn't learn as much Spanish

-as I'd hoped.

-On my way to work, I could stop on

-the street and speak Welsh.

-Do you hope to return to Patagonia?

-We will return to Patagonia someday.

-What did you enjoy about being

-My highlight in Patagonia

-was going to school.

-I made lots of friends.

-I enjoyed being with friends

-She attends the choir meetings

-to help her cope with the pain.

-When she sings,

-she doesn't feel the pain of cancer.

-were the children on the catwalk.
