-This year, we were celebrating

-140 years of Cardigan RFC.

-We wanted to have activities that

-to start youth projects.

-I went to Guildhall for eight years

-and have been living in London.

-I'm trying not to think about

-David's Hall.

-I'm familiar with performing there.

-I'm busy rehearsing at the moment.

-been kept out of the public eye.

-All One In Christ aims is to address

-the change in attitude.

-screened at St Asaph Cathedral...

-..which is testament to this change.

-It's also a historic moment.

-For many years, I lived in fear

-of the church members...

-..knowing my own sexuality.

-I spent year after year

-covering up who my partner is.

-It's certainly an unconventional

-and bold evening for the Church.

-Yes, it's a unique opportunity.

-Some are surprised that

-we're holding this event...

-..and others are delighted about it.

-But as the mother church

-of the diocese...

-..we have a duty to give everyone

-a chance to be here.

-We welcome the screening of the

-film and incite the discussion.

-I'd say this is one of many evenings

-to come.

-It's a great location to screen

-the film and start the discussion.

-I couldn't be myself.

-And the Church did me, up until

-that point, a lot of damage.

-I didn't believe that God loved me.

-I thought I wasn't worthy or good

-enough to be living or breathing...

-..never mind a priest in the church.

-I'm friends with Mike and Sarah

-who feature in the film.

-I'm good friends with some of them.

-They were very brave

-to talk about their stories.

-Both their stories

-are quite enthralling.

-I've just seen the film

-for the first time.

-I'm proud that we can come together

-at the cathedral and watch the film.

-Christ's love for us

-is central in our faith.

-The film reflects how the Church

-accepts individuals...

-..who were considered different,

-disowned and mocked in the past...

-..because of

-their personal journey in life.

-I'm part of Changing Attitude Wales

-who have organized tonight's event.

-Hopefully, these films will assist

-in changing attitudes...

-..within the Church in Wales and

-beyond, towards the LGBT community.

-It's been a momentous evening

-for the Iris Prize.

-We've worked with Changing Attitude

-in the hope to make a change.

-The term, 'historic'

-is often used loosely...

-..but that word

-is befitting for tonight.

-Once they heard our stories

-from our own mouths...

-..they have been so different

-and so loving and so accepting.

-And we do belong to a very

-conservative congregation.

-If they can learn to love us then

-there's hope for us in the Church.
