APPLAUSE AND CHEERING I love the trotting! What a

fairytale start to our results show. There are more magic moments to

come tonight, the multi-Grammy award-winning Michael Buble will be

getting us into the festive spirit and the judges will be joining me

for Len's Lens. Two couples will have to compete their dance fusions

in the dance-off. Saturday night our six remaining couples performed

a dance fusion. They created a choreography cocktail to enjoy. The

scores have been combined with your votes and the two couples with the

lowest overall points will have a dance fusion duel. Time to say

hello to the four people who can keep our couples dreams alive.

Please welcome Craig, Darcey, Len and Bruno. Before that it's time to

get comfy, sit back and enjoy the highlights from Saturday night.

Argh! It's the quarter-final! dancing! Excuse me. Are you looking

forward the show, ladies? I want Dani to win. Lou toys win.

Kimberley -- Lou toys win. Kim pwer throeu win. It's nice to chill out

for a few minutes. All this is from the fake hair shop. We are coming

into the studio now. You must be missing Vaughan this week? A little

bit. Can you be my buddy this week? Yeah, I can do it. Tonight is all

about fusion! Five minutes everybody. Time to get fused.

Oh, my God, my stomach! It's worse every week. Transmission in three,

two, rolling. I thought the quickstep had go and the jive had

show. It was a proper fusion. loved your determination. You go

out there and you want to perfect The cha-cha suits you down to a tee.

Cheeky, naughty. It allows you to express yourself in fantastic ways.

For enthusiasm, you are the kid, Your posture in the American smooth

part was truly dreadful. I suspect we are going to be seeing that

dance again. You give always 110% and I commend you for it. It's

important to give it everything you have got and then to get those

Dani, that was extraordinary! yum, pig's bum. That was fun.

Styleistically, it was perfection. Two tens! You danced that with

effortless dexterity. One of your The dance of the season so far.

That is dancing. It's a full house, ten! Some might say that was the

perfect fusion. It's chilly outside, but it was hot in that ballroom, I

am telling you. We have Kimberley at the top with the perfect 40.

Denise is somewhere in the middle. Down the bottom we have Nicky and

Lisa. It is incredible. Next week, semifinal, two dances. That is

going to be some challenge. Another exciting night in the

ballroom. Now next week it is the semifinal and five couples will be

back. Six couples stand before me and they are all desperate to make

it through. But who will be celebrating tonight? The results

are in. In no particular order, the first

couple safely through to the semifinal is...

And now the first couple in the dance-off who are in jeopardy is...

It's Nicky and Karen. Three couples are left. We will find out who will

join Nicky and Karen a little bit later.

Bruno, I heard you shouting disgraceful when you heard that

result, you weren't happy. Five?! If you are judging for effort you

would get a ten. Unfortunately, the two dances are the opposite end of

the spectrum. So combining the two is very hard but if you wants to

carry on he really has to nail it, it's hard but he has to do it.

getting quieter up here but I have two couples who are so, so happy! I

love it. Saturday night you got 40. I cannot believe it. It still feels

like a dream, doesn't it? Craig's ten, he only has it out about twice

and he got it out for you. We still are a little bit in shock. Can you

tell? I can. Pasha, huge congratulations, the judges said

the choreography was beautiful. Are you over the moon? I am proud of

Kimberley. She worked so hard and it wasn't an easy routine and the

way she did dancing and personality and fused them together. Perfect

your first ten in the series and you got two. One for each one.

darling. Thank you so much, Bruno. I have said it before, we are not

doing it alone, we are doing it with Len's Lens! This is a fusion

detail. Look at him. A fusion. We are going to start off, if it's all

right, talking about the magnificent Kimberley and Pasha.

They were amazing. One of my favourite bits is when Craig gave

his score. Look at your face, Darcey. No one's more shocked.

It's a full house! A lovely moment, I bet. Very, very.

It was fantastic. It was fabulous. She deserved it. It was a wonderful

moment F we look at close-ups. Explain why it was perfect. You

said it was the transition, I believe. What was wonderful, she

captured the mood of each dance. Here she goes, she has wonderful

expression. It's joyful and fun. Now into the tango. And then there

she goes. You know, she's been stuck on 34, 34, suddenly wallop,

40. So deserved. Sharp, crisp tango. Fun and it was an absolute perfect

blend. OK. Absolutely. APPLAUSE Yeah. Darcey, is it all right if I

talk to you about Louis. You talked about his shaping. Let's have a

look at how he moved from one dance seamlessly to the next. He has the

ability to have that control and the rumba has to have that and he

had the most beautiful arms. This is obviously the tango. And the

shaping is fabulous. Talking of arms, thank you, Bruno. Talking of

arms, they're so difficult to do. Let's have a reminder. He has very

long arms. He reaches to parts nobody else can reach. Look at this.

Lovely! Very well placed. But very long. But very tender. Tender and

long! Craig, let's talk to you about Denise and James. She's two

different flicks and that's so clever. It is, I thought the

routine was fantastic and of course this is her jive section and she's

really great at doing all those kicks and the retraction. I just

adored it up until the point where her heel... That's the moment. Poor

girl. She recovered brilliantly. think her leg literally was too

high. That was the problem with it. I don't know it was too high, I

think it was one of those things. You could equally say the dress was

too long. Don't pick on her. Len, in dancing as you know, you have to

be aware of your costume. Dani and Vincent. Look how happy you are.

Bruno, let's have a clip. Absolute and utter joy. She just did it

beautifully. It was absolutely perfect styleistically. They were

so in tune. Look at this. As a final clip of joyful part of

Saturday night was a transition with Lisa and Robin. Look at her

face! She's so adorable. If anyone captures the feel and the love of

dance, it's Lisa. It's just wonderful. OK. Thank you so much,

Now, next week it's the semifinal. How will our final five cope with

doing the double? Yes, you heard, that's two dances in one week.

After all this work and this time it's the semifinal. Oh my goodness,

it's the semifinals next week. can't believe it's actually here.

The semifinal. It's a daunting prospect. When you are in the

semifinals winning the competition really seems like a reality.

them, we have to learn them good. It's hard enough to learn one, let

alone two. Good luck everyone. do you even start two dances in six

days? The dances have to be perfect. There's so much pressure on the

semifinal. The pressure's building and building. It's all in the feet.

It's crunch time. Can you stop going on about the semifinal?

pressure. Pressure. Pressure. pressure. I know it's the semifinal.

Argh! We all know, you said it enough, stop, stop! No!

We are expecting perfection. The pressure will really be on next

week. I can't wait. Talking of pressure, three couples are still

awaiting their fate. Two are safe, one will have to dance again to

convince the judges to keep them in the competition. Who will it be?

So, that means Denise and James, and Louis and Flavia, one of you is

through to the semifinal. One of you is in the dance-off. I can

reveal that the couple in the bottom two tonight who will compete

in the dance-off is... It's Denise and James.

Louis and Flavia, congratulations, you are through to the semifinal.

APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Darcey, Denise started off in this

competition as one of the strongest contenders, one of the favourites.

She has had a couple of wobbles in recent weeks. What can she now do

to ensure a place in the semifinal? I am so shocked haoe's even --

she's even here, it's crazy. Her consistency has been incredible. I

could only say from Saturday night one foot got stuck but that was it.

Go out and enjoy yourself. Please, Denise. Thank you, Darcey. Over to

you, Claudia. Thank you so much. I am here with our final two safe

couples. Well done to both of you. Your reaction, I don't know who was

crying more, you or Robin. Honestly, it was ridiculous. Can I say

officially you can now take your lucky elastic band off. Lisa does

this every ruplts show until -- results show until your finger goes

blue. Don't do it at home! But it has worked. How nervous are you

about next week and the semifinal and two dances? It's really nerve-

racking. I only had one on Saturday night and you know, I messed that

up, as well. I am going to knuckle down this week, I promise. We are

nearly in the final, it's amazing! Talking of the final, you clever

boy, Louis, because you have always been brilliant and it feels like

you and Flavia at the last moment went, yeah, we are going to the

neck level and you steamed -- to the next next level and you steamed

through. Performance has always been my downside and it was scary

very nearly in the dance-off. right, huge congratulations to both

couples. Remember, you don't have to wait until next Saturday to see

think that because Denise has worked so hard we have put in more

naturally to Denise like everybody thinks, she's this trained dancer,

I can assure you she's not. She went to stage school and stopped

when she was 13. There's been so much expectation on both of us and

I think that you are amazing. I know you have a little girl who you

haven't been seeing and... Don't, because I will start crying.

Nicky and Karen! Well done to both of you. There's

no more either of you can do. It's time to find out who impressed the

most and who's made the final five. One couple will dance again next

week. Judges, it's time to decide. We are about to ask each of you the

name of the couple you think deserves to be saved. The couple

with the most votes will stay in the competition and the other

couple is out of Strictly and in the event of a tie head judge Len

will have that casting vote. Denise and James and Nicky and Karen, this

strong performances, but I am going to save Denise and James.

It's been a rollercoaster ride for you but you have had some

incredible highs. You really pulled it out of the bag. What have you

enjoyed the most? It's so much fun, it's the biggest and best show in

the world. To come out here every Saturday night is hard but it's

been amazing. Karen, every week, every day has been absolutely

incredible. We had a shaky start in terms of judges and and stuff but

we seemed to improve. I have to say thank you to the judges, been

amazing with all their advice and people back stage, I am going to

miss the whole thing. It's been an amazing experience. And Karen, this

has been your - oh, tears! It's been your first series. Nicky's

been your first partner, anything you would like to say to him?

will try. No tears! I want to say thank you to everyone, all the

celebs, all the professional dancers. It's been my first year

and I couldn't have asked for a better celeb. Thank you very much.
