that one. Last night, six of our sequinned celebrities shimmied

their way across the dancefloor. Didn't they do well? Well, I

couldn't have done it better myself. Thanks. They can relax tonight as

we turn the spotlight on the remaining eight couples. That's

It is all about the dancing this weekend and there is no voting

tonight. Our judges will still be scoring their routines. Those

scores carry on to next week's show. For you superfans, Karen Hardy will

the red button. Our first couple - a bit of a hold up - our first

couple is Kimberley Walsh and her partner, Pasha Kovalev. APPLAUSE

Lovely. Now, to raise money for Comic Relief, Kimberley once

climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. This is true. Quite a few celebrities went

up there. And they did a programme on it. She asked me if I would

consider going up Mount Kilimanjaro. I said, "Have they got a

stairlift?" That's not funny! LAUGHTER It's cruel to mock the

aged. Right, here they are in training - I hate that. Here you

are in training. From the age of five, Kimberley

Walsh dreamt of pop stardom, but it wasn't until 2002 that her dream

came true. It is crazy to think that ten years ago I auditioned for

Pop stars The Rivals. Kimberley! Here we are, still going strong.

It's so much fun being in Girls Aloud. There is nothing better than

feeling like you have got the other four girls with you. It's that

feeling of strength. Last year with Chelsea we came second. This year,

I'm hoping to go one place better. I'm very happy with Pasha as a

partner. I have been lucky. Knowing I'm going to be dancing with

Kimberley, I cannot wait to start. Can I go now?! Too much going on.

I'm dancing and then I see something and... That's too big.

LAUGHTER Now lives here unfortunately. LAUGHTER Darcey was

born here, but moved to Australia. Len of course is from London. We

all know where Bruno's from - another planet! LAUGHTER You are

happy there. I'm happy there. That's good. Len, what did you

think of that first dance? Kimberley. That's her name! Oh...

Nimble Kimble... Is that a good thing? It was clean and precise.

That is lovely. It will bit more pressure through the floor,

especially on the Cuban break. Your legs have to be stronger. You know,

you can't win Strictly Come Dancing week one. You can make a fantastic

impression. That's what you just did. Exactly. APPLAUSE What did I

tell you? Yeah. OK, Bruno? Kimberley, you definitely know how

to sell it! You could sell ice to Eskimos. With just the right amount

of titillating sexy sheen. You did it beautifully. Len, you are right.

You have to push more through the leg. That will stretch it. It will

give you better hip action. Top half, you were going for it and I

loved it! The smile was there. was radiant. APPLAUSE Now, then,

Craig? We all hope you are in a better mood than last night. Well,

I am, as a matter-of-fact. Good! Finally, there is some dance

talent! Self-assured, confident, great rhythm, I thought the whole

thing was incandescent, darling. Absolutely. High praise indeed.

Darcey? For a first performance, you gave us the wow factor! Thank

you. I would just say a little bit to strengthen up the move,

especially the hip action. Think about your core. Then you will get

a cleaner hip - pow, pow, pow! Please can you bring back that wow

factor next week? I'll try. have got it. You have to use it.

How does being on the dancefloor compare to being on stage with

Girls Aloud? Very kind of exposed, but I did really enjoy it and I

tried to kind of be in the moment and it was fun. Pasha, is she

everything you dreamt for in a partner? Absolutely. In a nutshell.

Kimberley has kicked us off in style. She has given the other

couples a lot to think about. Are you ready for more, ladies and

Next up is Sid Owen and his partner, Ola Jordan. APPLAUSE Now after

working so long on EastEnders, Sid is thrilled to be doing Strictly.

He said at least on this show there won't be a big punch-up when some

bloke thinks I'm after his wife. I said, "Have you met Ola's husband?"

Look at the guns on him! LAUGHTER They don't call him Jesse James

Jordan for nothing! Here they are in training. Sid Owen has been a

familiar face in EastEnders for over 20 years. What was his

character's name again? Ricky! Ricky! Shut up! EastEnders in the

'80s was a huge programme, 25 million watched it. When I got that,

I couldn't believe my luck. I remember my first scene was in the

pub playing on the fruit machine with Mike Reid. This is good!

name is Ola Jordan. I'm a past Strictly Come Dancing Champion.

knew I was doing Strictly and all I wanted was Ola. Wow! Can't believe

it. Dreams do come true. I dreamt about this! Did you really? I am

looking forward to start training with Sid. I wanted to see how

difficult he is going to be to get to that final. Ola is a taskmaster.

She is straight to the point. Elbows. No beating around the bush.

Elbow up! She is kicking me into gear. Strictly Ola! I have to keep

Ricky on his... What's his name? Sid, OK. There's a few issues.

Where am I? The timing needs work. You need to move to the side. Your

body has turned too much. There are a lot of things that need work.

Another thing... Oh! If it is not good, I will tell you it's not good.

Dancing with my Dad at a wedding! That's nice. I was over the moon.

Now, I'm not doing this any more! Is there any chance we can change?

Dancing the waltz, Sid Owen and Ola CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Look at them

again! Sid, look at that. Look at this. Wonderful. Sid, absolutely

marvellous. Look, what I loved about it is you acted the dance as

well. You put that into it. He was brilliant. It is not hard! She is a

darling. As always, let's show your appreciation to our fabulous

singers, Dave Arch and his wonderful orchestra.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Lovely. Now, then, Bruno? Look

out... Sid, I cannot believe it! LAUGHTER I was expecting a thug

throwing her all over the place. I'm having intensity, correct

posture, erection... LAUGHTER it was, you were - shut up! You

created the mood so well, your frame, you held it all the way

through. Your footwork wasn't bad. I was pleasantly surprised. This

was very, very good. APPLAUSE Yes. The posture, that's what you mean!

Of course. Craig, did you agree? Yes, on certain points. Your arms

when placed, they were a bit plonky - you need to think about that.

Speaking of your hands, your thumb needs to be tucked under, not flat.

Small thing, but I thought great movement around the floor and

fantastic storytelling. Well done. Thank you. APPLAUSE Darcey, have

you anything to add to that? Sid, you presented yourself so well.

There was this great intensity between you and Ola and you carried

that all through the way through. I would only say one thing. Your

shoulders, when you change direction, you must not use this.

You change direction, so it must come from your core. But I'm going

to love watching you every week. You have something very special.

Lovely. APPLAUSE Now, then, Len, round that off? You scrub up well!

You have gone from Albert Square to Barclays Square! It was a bit

dainty, that walk-in. I was shaking! Once you got cracking, it

had good movement, your posture was pretty good, your footwork was

pretty good. Odd little things, you fell back on the whisk. Your right

shoulder keeps leaning. But, Sid, good job! APPLAUSE Be proud, both

of you. You have got a wonderful partner. Off go. Sid and Ola!

three weeks' ago, Johnny Ball was partnered with Aliona Vilani. After

two weeks of training, unfortunately this happened.

There is more to pye than meets the eye. Perhaps he is best-known for

Think Of A Number. That was some time ago. I have that hair still,

it's in a shoebox under the bed! I'm the oldest contestant to do the

series. I will get fitter and fitter, hopefully, and better at

dancing. Aliona Vilani. When I got Aliona, I thought poor kid, she's

got me. You are in safe hands. Johnny has an amazing personality.

We will showcase that. He really might surprise people. The progress

is from zero to a few bits I can do. In a freak training room accident,

it's disaster for Aliona. You OK? Hold on. I twisted my ankle really

badly. I just had the x-ray done and my ligaments are pulled. I am

really upset and very sad. injury meant a temporary dance

partner had to step in. My name is Iveta Lukosiute. We have two days

to rehearse. Johnny seems like he knows what he is doing. He will

show all those young guys what he can do. I have had two partners now.

have been unlucky with your partners. One tip I have - when you,

your weight is always on your heels. In Latin you must be on the ball of

Safe to say it's been an eventful week. Lots of drama. It has. Has it

been worthwhile? I didn't turn up for the first step. So, no, a lot

of drama, but it is lovely to be here. Len and Darcey were loving

your energy. You are a global superstar, how are you finding our

Strictly ballroom? Strictly ballroom is such a warm and

pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for having me here. You are amazing.

could catch on. I really do. Anyway, here they are in training.

years as one of the BBC's biggest child stars has left Dani Harmer

with nothing left to hide. started Tracy Beaker when I was 12.

So I pretty much grew up on television. And all the worst years

of your life that you don't want documented, spots, braces, frizzy

hair. It's all in the archive of the BBC. I might work on kids' TV,

so people think I'm sweet and innocent - which I am. I can shake

my booty like the rest of them. Dani's boy will be... My heart was

going out of my chest. Vincent Simone! I was so excited. Women

think I'm a fantasy, but I am real. Dani is definitely a dream partner.

She is young, she is fit and she's got the moves. Obviously, we are

tiny. We are like a pair of Polly Pockets, but we are not to be

messed with. That is really fast. The waltz you would think is quite

relaxed and slow, but it's a lot faster than you think. OK. That

fast. We are so little, we have to be faster than anyone else. Speed,

speed, speed. That's it. We create a resistance, so I can make you go

faster. All these dancers with the massive long legs, we don't have

that luxury. So we have to be speedy. There are lots of spins. I

don't know whether I'm coming or going. Hopefully, I can get up to

Beautiful. Absolutely - look, Dani, look what you've done. Look what

you've done. Don't look so worried. You two look so cute together, you

should be on a wedding cake! LAUGHTER Don't be like that. The

choreography was beautiful. You have a good one there. Darcey?

I was impressed with your travelling, so forget about being a

Polly Pocket. Dance is about creating an illusion and you did

that. To help with your top line, imagine you have the most beautiful

necklace on and that will help with your posture. But I know you will

have a lot more fun in the Latin next week. You are doing a good job.

OK. APPLAUSE Now, then, Len? It's all in the detail. That is what you

have to work on. It was close, just needs better posture, slightly

better footwork. I love that leg thing when you was on one leg and

Vincent was there holding you up and the spins on your own were a

bit wobbly. But I thought it was very nice. Lovely movement and well

done to you. Exactly. APPLAUSE Have you stopped shaking? OK, Bruno?

Dani, smile! Enjoy the occasion. You are a pretty girl. You move

very well. But all the tension you create stops the movement to flow.

The waltz is a flowing dance. Then you get a bit anxious and you start

skipping like a kangaroo! It's not the style of the dance. The talent

is there. It is using it correctly as Len said. You need to relax,

because you have it all. You have to use it correctly. Yes. Let's all

remember it is the first week and well done for the first week. We

couldn't go without Craig having his say. When you -- you need to

lengthen the line. When you spin, my darling, don't spot the floor.

That is where you are going wrong. You have the whole capacity to do

them beautifully. Also, I thought you had a beautiful back as well.

You have a lovely back. APPLAUSE I think she's got a nice front as

well! You have plenty of front. Off you go. Well done the pair of you.

APPLAUSE Here they are. Our tiny dancers. What a first dance. You

must be happy? I am over the moon. As long as Papa Smurf is happy, I'm

is always good. You are not the two tiniest dancers on this show, THEY

are! A tiny Vincent and a tiny Dani. They can be your mascots. A gift

half-way through tonight's performances, with four couples

still to come. Who is up next? is our 11th couple, it is Lisa

has said publicly - it's been in all the newspapers - if Craig is

rude to her, she will go up to him after the show and punch him. I

said no, no, don't wait till after the show! We don't want to miss a

moment like that, do we? AUDIENCE: No! Do we?

AUDIENCE: No! We will see what happens. I can't wait. Here they

are in training. Lisa Riley spent years dressing down for the camera

as Mandy Dingle on Emmerdale. So, how is she going to react to being

Strictlified? A bit of mud on me hands because I'm always playing a

minger! Can we change the record? Now I get full make-up and

everything. I'm glam now. I keep having a look of myself and taking

pictures on me phone of myself! Who am I trying to kid?! I think

everybody was able to see how excited I was that I had Lisa as my

partner. I felt like a Princess. Because of the way he looks, I melt.

And I go - I'll do anything you say! You are so gorgeous! In that

gorgeous body, I want to kiss him all day long. If he will let me!

Two and three and... I am loving the cha-cha. Robin will say turn!

That's a swisho or a twizle for me! Then we go into the big waltzes.

How much fun was that?! We absolutely loved it. The judges

next couple Richard Arnold and his partner, Erin Boag. APPLAUSE Yes.

Now, Richard is a TV critic which means he watches other people try

their hardest then he criticises them. What a disgusting way to earn

a living! LAUGHTER You should be ashamed of yourselves. Anyway, here

they are in training. Daybreak's Richard Arnold is no stranger to

the sequins of showbiz. But he is normally the one asking the

questions. Everyone is more interested in what Strictly is

like... Is it true you are doing Strictly? Yes. People are so

passionate about Strictly. don't know what you have let

yourself in for! The dancer you will be sharing all your gossip

with is Erin Boag. I love Richard. He is so much fun and he is so

bubbly. He is like a big bundle of energy. I think she is such a class

act. I'm in awe of her. He thinks he is in heaven. He is like, "I'm a

dancer!" He is not much of a dancer, but hopefully we will do something

with that. The waltz has been a revelation. Arms, arms. You have an

image of couples gliding around the dancefloor, full of grace. I'm like

a collapsed pav low va. With plenty of fruit! -- Pavlova. With plenty

of fruit! Turn your hips! Erin has put me in a position I haven't been

in for many years. He did say he notices he walks differently. That

is through the dancing. He will thank me later. For what? I love

Erin. Against all odds, she may well have turned me into a ballroom

dancer. I'm a dancer! You're a dancer. I hope I don't let her down

trying to be butch? LAUGHTER There you go! I'm back. Are you trying to

be butch? It was a bit boring. It was niceish, wasn't brilliant. I

want to see your personality. I want to see something happening.

had a lovely half-smile. He had a look like he was on Valium! Heavily

medicated. All right, have you finished? Yes. Craig? I can't agree

with Bruno. I thought the smile was very, very lovely. APPLAUSE

thought it was very romantic. Thank you, darling. LAUGHTER I thought it

was a very romantic routine. What a lovely moment. Your transitions are

a bit lumpy and your hands are a bit like that. They need sorting

out. A good effort. Darcey? missed the real Richard in that

waltz. You are usually full of life. I missed it. If you feel the nerves,

take that music home with you, yes? Listen to it when you are cooking,

in the bath, so you feel really relaxed on that dancefloor again.

That is what will happen. Len? cha-cha-cha, you can do what you

like, you can wink on one, shake your bum, this is a waltz. It's got

very, very strict techniques. Your footwork was the best of any waltz

I have seen. APPLAUSE Your posture was OK. OK, there's moments where

it could have been better, but that's the same for everyone we

have watched. You can't make a waltz into a cha-cha and how anyone

can say a waltz is boring. It is one of the most beautiful of all

the dances and you came out and gave it a great job. Richard, I'm

going to call you Tricky Dickie. I'll take it! I have had so much

worse! And sophisticated. Well done with him. Thank you very much.

asked me if there was a Mrs Du Beke at home. I said, "Oh yes, Anton

still lives with his mother!" LAUGHTER Anyway, here they are in

training. Supermodel Jerry Hall is used to living the dream. But will

she be Strictly's Dancing Queen? do sometimes pinch myself still

because I have led such a wonderful life. It was lovely to see your

face on all the magazines. The travelling, the Rolling Stones in

their private plane. It was a bit of a handful. Jerry Hall is

beautiful and glamorous and sophisticated and funny. She is the

whole package! The moment I found out that Anton was my partner, I

was really pleased. I feel like that penguin in Happy Feet. In the

beginning, I thought I just don't want to be voted off the first week.

But now that I have got Anton, I think we are going to win this

thing! I am the luckiest man in the whole world. I get to dance with

Jerry Hall. She has such a natural flair so I always don't want to get

in her way. She keeps coming up with bits of gold. This bit here,

fantastic. I think, "I've never thought of using that." Yeah!

specialises in the pommel horse. It's a wooden horse with handles on

it. He did have mixed results at the Olympics. He got a silver for

the gymnastics but came last in the dressage! LAUGHTER That is the best

joke of the night if you think about it! It's a clever joke. I

thought it was the best one. Here they are - the dressage... Here we

there is hope for even the most boy trousers of children. -- boisterous

of children. I was always a hyperactive child. When I was four,

my Mum decided to make me to gymnastics to get rid of some

energy. 19 years down the line... My Olympic pommel horse final was

the scariest moment I have ever had in my life. I go into the dismount,

I land and 19 years of hard work, the sacrifice my Mum, my coach, my

friends have made. You can feel the emotion here! 2012 has been an

amazing year for Louis. To be asked to come on Strictly, what an honour.

I would be happy to finish it off for him with a nice sparkling

Glitterball. I feel like a woman that can't dance at a party.

cha-cha is a sexy sort of dance. The thing that worries me - I have

never had to be the sexy and flamboyant in my life. You have to

sell it. Dancing is a lot about the way you feel. I am still

concentrating too much. I have got this face on at the minute.
