Week 5 Results Strictly Come Dancing

Claudia Winkleman. A huge thank you to our fabulous professional

dancers. Amazing. They never disappoint. On Saturday night, our

12 dancers danced like their lives depended on it. Only 11 couples can

continue to shine, because one must sadly leave tonight. That's right.

After combining the judges' scores with all of your votes, we'll reveal

the bottom two couples for whom the dreaded dance-off beckons. Their

fate lies in the hands of our judges. Please welcome them. Also,

on the show tonight, turning the ballroom into a Boogie Wonderland,

disco legends, Earth Wind Fire are here. The judges and I will look at

the details of last night's performances in Len's Lens. I'll

reveal the first couple in danger. Before that, here's a recap of what

went on in front of and behind the cameras on Saturday night.

Week five! Another day in bar dice! Oh, the problems we had getting

through the Dartford Tunnel with this. Fly on, my man! It's 10.00am

and I'm about to show you what's back stage. Rachel and Pasha are do

youing their band run. Injury. Let's not going on about it. Don't try to

escape now. I've hurt my hair. It's quite painful today. This is where

I've spent the last hour getting this face painted on. They take the

very beautiful Natalie. Have you seen me side-ways. They are out

here. They turn that into the even more beautiful Natalie. Fantastic.

I've got to go now, because I've got that dance -- gotta dance. I'm last

one to perform. It's gone 4.00 and now it's time to have something to

eat. What are you eating? Creamy chicken. My fish pie is actually

better that Marco peer white's -- Pierre White's. It's show-time! This

is going to kick-off tonight. Count to air, ten. I'll give it my best

shot. Where is Ashley? Five, four, three, two, one. That was terrific.

Felt really good out there. Yeah. Hypnotic, exotic, with a touch of

the erotic. I've never been accused of being erotic before. Beautiful.

Wave after wave of effortless movement around the floor. I hope

that was OK for you, because it's your favourite dance. To me it was a

ten. You have the ability of never letting your left leg know what your

right leg is doing. Bottom of the leaderboard. Top of the world. It's

an improvement on last week, so well done. Much more confident, much more

fluid. An inproximity. After last week I'm really pleased with the 27.

You did a really good job under terrible circumstances. Well done.

You still could have got the flow with one arm. Thank you, brilliant

start. You flew around the floor and you were most definitely back in the

room. I feel so relieved. At last! You are Smiley Reilly and it didn't

quite work. You had all the content there, but it was the vegetarian

option. I liked it. You danced it simply, effectively and with feeling

and emotion and I was just -- it was just beautiful to see. Terrific

effort. Well done. I enjoyed dancing that. That was good. That wasn't

safe or placed. It was brilliant. That's good. Really important. It is

always sunny in Susanna land. Gorgeous. Yeah! What you did you did

well. I'm just happy I didn't make a mistake. We know you can do it. Now

we want The Full Monty, my darling. Good job! I don't think you got into

that dance at all. It was all too sort of staged and put up. You

almost fell over and lost your dance. I didn't mind it actually. I

thought it was rather good. Good job, babe. Oh, what a start to the

show. Natalie - fantastic. And then Abbey and down the bottom, oh, no,

Dave. Oh, Cuban Pete, it was fabulous! Here, look at my face, was

I laughing? Yes, I was. The bottom line - it was a good night, wasn't

it? What a sensational night of ballroom. 12 couples have danced to

keep their place in the competition, but who is safe and sound? Who could

be home-ward bound? I have the results. In no particular order, the

can they improve? InseeRle I'm in shock, because I thought you would

be safe and sound. For me, your Viennese Waltz was as good as any

dance you've done this series, so my advice would be just to come out and

trust in your partner, Robin and come out and give it your all.

Deborah, I know how much you love being in the ballroom. How are you

feeling right now? I don't know. I just don't want it to end. I want to

put a good enough dance in to repay this guy who has taught me to dance.

congratulations. Mark, you won over Craig on Saturday night. How happy

were you? Amazed. It was lovely. So nice for me to hear those comments.

I was shocked. So happy. As is Anton. Look at his face. I've never

seen him happier. Rachel, you were like, what did she get it right? I

went through my routine 17,000 times in my head. I'm just so pleased.

Thank you British public. You did absolutely brilliantly. Susanna, you

are through. Such a relief, but always such a shame, Deborah in the

dance-off. I know, she is so sweet. It's so true. We'll change the mood.

Absolutely brilliant. Please welcome the keepers of the paddles, our

judges. Unfortunately, Craig is stranded downstairs due to his

recent hip operation. He wouldn't let me give him a piggy bag. --

piggy back. Thank goodness you're still there. Luckily, we are not

alone. We couldn't do this alone. It would be ridiculous and just a chat.

This has to be magical. Let's welcome Len's Lens. This is when we

look at the close-ups and maybe the things we didn't talk about on

Saturday night. My first topic is the following - just how adorable

and this is a genuine question is Anton Du Beke? Just look at this

point. Look at his little face and his brilliant partner dabbing him

down. Len, did you love it? Listen, I love Anton. I think he's such a

character and he's marvellous and this dance, I loved the character

that he got into it. Both of them did. It was absolutely great. Look

at him. Wide shoulders, flat back. Proud as a peacock. Darcy, can I

talk to you about Ashley's split? Here he goes. He only trained for

about four minutes this week. Look at him. You know what's great, he

doesn't look like he put any strain on Ola, which is brilliant. He

didn't point his feet. He came forward. He came forward. It's the

art of pitching it forward. Not having the weight too far back. He

did do well? Look at that. Terrific. I've got to show you this. Artem

unfortunately really badly fractured his nose. I have a clip. We have

zoomed in. Look at this. They did a beautiful dance and went for this.

That was bad. Fortunately, he doesn't need a sense of smell to

dance. Quite. Talking about being a master and carrying on. Patrick did

so brilliantly. He can't form and Anya totally dechoreographed --

rechoreographed the dance. Straight on. Go on girl, up you go. I tell

you what. The look of the lines, that was a great moment. Absolutely

beautiful. Last one is, can we just have a conversation with Dave's

hair. Oh, my God. Did you love it? There was more movement in the hair

than there was in the feet. Come on, he did brilliantly. I did love it,

but it was a unique experience. We have to admit. That Thank you for

that closer inspection. Let's hear it for the judges.

APPLAUSE Now, it hasn't been the same without

Craig, but I'm sure he's feeling positively miserable to be missing

out. Oh, darling, oh, thank you. This is better than Len's Lens,

To be able to change everything in just one day and be able to perform

what you did on Saturday night, people don't realise, it would phase

so many people out. You weren't phased. That shows what a natural

dancer you are. Patrick, it has been a really tough week for you. You

soldiered on. What are you going to do differently? Just do it again. He

did that after 24 hours, so just do it again. Very best of luck. Best of

and trained for half an hour? I'm so happy to be through. It's been a

tough week, so thank you to everyone out there. So sweet. Ben, you two

Kristina, you do the face which is, "I am going." That is not even your

voice, but you were down to the last two. Did you think this is it? It's

the most nerve racking thing. It was so ba Thanks to people who voted at

you. The elimination is a scary time for all our celebrities. But with

Hello. Sadly, only one of these couples can make it through to

Hallowe'en week. Deborah and Robin and Patrick and Anya, you are about

to face the dance-off. I'm so sad that both of you are here, if that's

at all helpful, which it isn't. Are you going to do it differently? You

know it could be - it could well be my last dance, so I'm going to give

it everything and enjoy it. OK. Robin, you love it don't you?

Absolutely. I've been dancing with Deborah and it's been amazing. I

don't want it to end. You'll do it well. Enormous luck. Please go and

You've had the most difficult week. How dispointing is it for you to be

in this position? Well, it's a shame, but that's what happens. This

is a competition. In the end we just dance again. Fantastic. Enormous

Man's World Deborah and Robin have done

everything they can and now fighting for their place, please put your

hands together for Patrick and Anya. So well done to both of you. We now

find out which of you will be back to dance again next week. Judges,

it's time to decide. We are about to ask each of you the name of the

couple that you think deserves to be safe. The couple with the most votes

will stay in the competition, meaning the other couple is out of

Strictly Come Dancing. In the event of a tie, head judge, Len, will have

the casting vote. Deborah and Robin and Patrick and Anya, this is it.

Craig? I would like to save the couple who did the best dancing in

the dance-off tonight and that couple is Patrick and Anya. Well

done. One vote for you. Darcy, who would you like to keep in the

competition? I just wish both of the couples weren't even here, it's so

hard. But I would like to save Patrick and Anya. That's two votes.

If Bruno now chooses to save you, that means you are indeed through to

Let me say, you both did a great job, but one of you had the edge for

me and the couple that had the edge, I would like to save is Patrick and

yes. They definitely did much better in the dance-off and my heart goes

out to you. You two have been a fantastic couple to watch. We are

genuinely sorry to see you go. I know you've had a ball. Is there

anything you would like to say to Robin? I can't tell you. This gave

me a give, but the big gift was this guy, to teach me to dance, to find

something I never even knew I could do and to make it the best. Oh, God.

He's done wonders. There's going to be tears. No, I'm a Dragon, there

will be no tears. We turned you into a pussy cat. Robin, is there

anything you would like to say? I'm so upset for ra. She -- Deborah. She

loved it so much. They got on so great. A fantastic partnership. On a

brighter note, you danced to some of your favourite songs and had a

wonderful reaction from the British public. What's been the highlight?

Oh, actually tonight. I loved my dance tonight. I loved my quickstep

and I'm sad to be going, because everybody knows I've just had a ball

and the best time. We've thoroughly enjoyed watching you both. Ing thank

you so much for taking part. We'll miss them. We bid a very fond

farewell to Deborah and Robin. They'll join Zoe on Strictly Come
