Week 6 Strictly Come Dancing

Last week on Strictly: Our dancing dozen did their best to impress.

Some dazzled the judges with their tricks. Others failed to provide any

tricks. Others failed to provideany any treats. Here and fight! In the

end our dragon was slain in the dance-off.

This week, it's Hallowe'en and the nightmares have begun. I'm sorry.

It's a bit like flying on a budget airline. It's like a disaster movie.

Lots of sugar and in the a lot of spice.

It was a zafrter, darling. -- Disaster darling. Who's hoping their

dreams will come true? Wonderful. Terrific. Just perfect. Gorgeous.

Wake up, are you having a nightmare? On the contrary, that's the best 40

winks I've had for weeks. For the first time ever, I'm scared

darlings. Why? It's Hallowe'en! HOWLING It's a spooky Hallowe'en

special, it's Strictly Come Dancing! Please welcome your hosts, Sir Bruce

Forsyth and Tess Daly. APPLAUSE

What a lovely dress. Why, thank you. Not bad yourself. Beautiful. Good

evening, sit down, sit down, please. Smile at the same time. Right, good

evening ladies and gentleman and children, welcome to spooky come

dancing. It's rotten to see you, to see you... Rotten! Yes. And it's

rotten to see you. That's a horrible thing to say. It's Hallowe'en. I

know, I said it to them, but no need to say it to me. It's Hallowe'en. Go

on then. What a Goolish start to -- ghoulish start to our Hallowe'en

special. Have you had a good day? Yes, this afternoon I had 40 winks

in a coffin. LAUGHTER

Then, I had a charge of electricity. A small glass of bat's blood..

You're really getting into the Hallowe'en spirit. It's nothing to

do with Hallowe'en, I do it every week.

It's not easy coming here. APPLAUSE

It's not easy coming here every Saturday making a fool of yourself

up and down the stairs. Spooky. That's the word. Last week, two

couples went head to head in the deadly dance-off, Patrick and Anya

survived. But our dragon Deborah danced out of the competition and

continues to haunt the ballroom. Oh, Lady GaGa is our guest star! But

on this scariest night of Strictly we still have 11 couples desperate

to dance in our haunted ballroom. Yes, we do. They're dancing to save

their souls from the judges whose scores combine with your votes and

the two couples with face a fate worse than death. We both have it

tonight. If it was recorded we could cut all that out. But this is live!

Don't start that again. You'll get over it, don't worry, because it's

time to meet the stars of our spooky show.

can't recognise anybody. I tell you that. This year, it's been so close.

Based on past performances, Natalie, you could be in the top, you could

be the top of the tree, really good. And Sophie, you could be the top of

the leaderboard. Abbey, you could be the top of the leaderboard, hello

Dave, how are you? Give it some welly.

They might look terrifying, but they're the ones who are scared

because this week our 11 will become 10. Thereby -- there will be wailing

and screaming. It's Patrick Robinson and his partner Anya.

APPLAUSE I see them in the back row.

Patrick and Anya, before you dance, I just want to warn you, in fact I

want to warn everyone actually - during the show, if you hear a bump

in the night, don't worry, it will be Bruno falling off his chair

again. LAUGHTER

He'll do anything for a laugh. Any way, here they are in training.

Last Saturday, I was trying to do the best job I could do with salsa

and one hand. I just had to say, that's the way it goes. Hit it. The

general consensus was that it was stop-start. It was like a switch

going on and off tonight. I was slightly disappointed, even though I

thought, it's the best I could do. To be in the bottom two for the

first time, absolutely indescribable feeling. To be voted by all the

judges, that's fantastic. As hard work as it is, you get out what you

put in. I'm going to go for it. This week, we are dancing the quickstep.

It's a very difficult dance. With an injured hand. Can't grab. Dodgy

knees, he's a bit of a broken man. I decided to fix all of that and

turning him no a dancing monster. Good afternoon, Patrick, please step

into my office. You've been beaten, you've been bruised, you've been

hurt. Don't you worry, by the time I've finished, you'll be a dancing

machine. Dancing the quivering Quickstep,

APPLAUSE Now, Craig's a bit grumpy tonight.

He's been having trouble sleeping because of his hip. Evidently his

leg isn't strong enough for him to hang upside down on the ceiling...

LAUGHTER Shame. OK, Len, what due think of

that? I was bewitched, bothered and bewildered. Bewitched by the routine

and the performance. A little bit bothered with the lack of body

contact. But absolutely bewildered by the energy, the speed, the joy of

the dance. N if that's not the dance of the

night, I'm going to pickle my walnuts.

What about you Bruno? You don't need his walnuts, because I tell you, the

magic spell you concocted had all the right ingredients. That was a

spooky riot of a quickstep. You put more content in your dance tonight

than you've ever had, overall it was actually very good. Len is right,

because of the body contact, your frame sometimes was a bit loose. You

have to maintain the frame and the content at the same time. The

difference from last week was outstanding. How about Craig? I can

only but agree. The energy was phenomenal. I loved the whole

theatricality of the whole performance. Tighter frame

absolutely. I loved the charleston elements. It was full of character,

your timing, as always, exceptional. Great work.

Darcey? Anya, you've worked with Patrick's strengths all the way

through. The choreography was brilliant. Patrick, that was fast.

Great work. Well done. Well done indeed.

the wrist? It's healing and it's coming along nicely. You forgot all

about it during that. You have to try. Amazing comments from the

judges, spell binding they said. You were in the dance-off last week,

dance every week. That's how it is. Spectacular. What do your kids think

when they see their dad dancing on telly every week? I have to say

APPLAUSE They're going to be scarecrows that

come to life. Children you'll love this. When I heard about it, I

rushed around to the costume department before they could turn

Anton into a scarecrow. You see, for the past ten years, I've been dying

to say Anton, go and get stuffed. APPLAUSE

Ten years I've waited. Here they are in training.

Last week was absolutely fantastic. I loved every minute of it. It is

just a really joyous experience. Finally fabulous Fiona. It was such

a relief to get lovely comments. Because I really felt as if I was

getting my final warning. More confidence plus more focus equals

more points. I don't think I've completely conquered my nerves, but

I'm so grateful that I've had this opportunity to be part of the

Hallowe'en week. It's Hallowe'en week. Yes! What's your fear? To let

the judges down. I know what will help you. Look what I've got. Why so

many pumpkins? It's the judges! How are these going to be the judges?

Let's get carving. Anton actually turned out to be really good at

carving the pumpkins. They turned out brilliantly. Your challenge

today is to turn these grumpy judges into happy judges.

Look! Wow. Look. They're all smiling. I just really hope that I

can do the same thing on Saturday night and see four judges smiling

back at me. Dancing the chilling Charleston,

Fiona Fullerton and Anton "Deathly" Du Beke.

Lovely. That was a very jolly, it really was. I didn't mean it about

what I said. Five years I've waited! Whilst you get your breath back,

it's a good time to welcome our spooky singers, Dave Arch and his

wonderful rotten orchestra. APPLAUSE

I think you start us off Bruno. There was nothing creepy about that.

It was so nice and prim and proper, it was Hallowe'en at Doris Day's

house. Everything was nicely placed and neatly done. But it lacked that

kind of fire in the crazy energy that the charleston has. There's a

lot of time you have to really be aware of timing, Fiona. This is one

of the things that in the fast dances always lets you down. It's

the truth, darling. You really have to count...

BOO I'm not blind! You have to keep on

time. When you go out of sync with Anton, it really shows. Sorry.

Oh, I see. Let's see what the others say. He's absolutely right. I

thought the whole dance was just too polite and well behaved. Back in the

20s, they had signs up, "PCQ" Which meant please charleston quietly. It

should be going completely against that sign. The timing was out. When

you do the monkey step, just a small detail, you need to have your hands

near your knees. That was out of place. But on the good side, you do

have a fantastic amount of swifl and I'm looking for that -- swivel and

I'm always looking for that. Dave? Darcey.

But Dave will do... It says Dave. I know. It's Hallowe'en. She looks

particularly butch today, I know. Be careful Fred. For me, what you do

brilliantly is when you tell a story, everything comes together. I

loved actually how clean and placed you were.

APPLAUSE What you did, you did particularly

well. You played a lovely character, nice and cheeky. I enjoyed it. The

boys are right, are you out of time and out of sync with Anton

occasionally. But you are still on your way up. So keep working.

Now then, just a minute, George. LAUGHTER

For me, I don't agree with these people. I thought it was a proper

charleston. OK, maybe it could have had a bit

more wow in it, I don't know. Very few charston you see them in the

correct swivel action through their feet. You had that beautifully. As

much as maybe they're right, I think I'm right. That was a proper

charleston. Well done. I'm so glad. It was a lovely

charleston. Off you go. I don't care what those judges said,

we thought that was the cutest charleston we've ever seen. I loved

it. Len said it was a proper charleston. He's in your corner. I

know you wanted to impress the judges this week, how do you feel?

I'm really disappointed, because I thought we did everything as we were

told. Len's your favourite judge and you've got his vote of confidence.

They were shouting at the judges saying, "She did great. She was

fantastic." You twisted your ankle this week, is that a big deal? No,

not a big deal. A small dislocation, it was fine (! ) Once I stuck it

back in, it was all right. The scores are in:

Who's next to haunt our ballroom? The next people to haunt us get

ready ladies, get ready, it's Big Ben time.

APPLAUSE With his lovely partner Kristina.

They're dancing a romantic paso doble. He's going to be the ice king

and she's going to be the ice queen. In a freezing ice kingdom, Ben asked

me if I liked the cold. I said, "Yes, I do. I love it when it's so

cold, I can see my own breath." It proves I'm still alive.

Shut up! Get off for goodness sake. Don't worry, you'll all be dead one

day. If you live that long. Right here they are in training.

I put in really long hours in learning the quickstep. I wasn't

expecting you to be so light on your feet. You made it look like a walk

in the park. A quarter of the waif through and my calves were on fire.

You've been teasing us for weeks with your ability. We know you can

do it. Now we want the full Monty. It's about challenging and pushing

yourself. Hopefully we can take it a step further this weekend doing the

paso doble. It's Hallowe'en week and my biggest

fear is not looking fierce and serious enough for the paso doble.

What do you want me to do - angry eyes, scary eyes in All of it. Stop

laughing. As it's Hallowe'en, my kids are trick or treating, it's a

great opportunity to tag along and test out my paso doble face.

out. That's my mum. Do you ever use

I used to, but I kept falling through them.

Right. APPLAUSE

Craig, it would be you, but Craig, what about that? I've got to admit,

I was slightly distracted... LAUGHTER

I didn't look too much at the footwork. Full of power and

machismo, that's for sure. It was a little bit blocky and without shape.

But I think Kristina, you choreographed it brilliantly. I

really enjoyed it. Now then, Darcey? Well, Ben, the

attack, the concentration and, as was said, the dance content, so much

more. Such an improvement. I didn't find I was too distracted with your

chest. But if you're going to show it off and we can see that waste,

you've got to use it, especially at the beginning, use it, yes? Use the

waste right to the sides. But you gave me a great lasting image, thank

you very much. Would you like Darcey to do that

again? Yes, please. Len, what did you think? Looking at

you, we've got so much in common, Ben, honestly. I was hoping for

fireworks, but unfortunately, there were no fireworks. It was an

explosion! Exuberant attack, focus, OK, it

could have had a little more attack, but for sheer guts, get out there

son, fabulous! Well done, Ben. Big Ben lives. Bruno? Now I'm starting

to get it. I'm telling you, with all that muscle power, you can out bull

of mine tore. -- Minotaur. The power was incredible. The thing is, she's

right, you have to shape it a bit more. But it's this, how am I going

to show that. I have to. You have to keep... Go on then. You have to keep

the hips forward. CHEERING

Can I change my score? ! Don't fall again.

For goodness sake, Bruno! Control yourself. You want it change your

score? Yeah, can I? It was wonderful. We loved it. Off you go.

APPLAUSE Wow! Standing ovation, I'm not sure

if it was for the chest or the dancing, but for both. Clearly

impressed buno. Len said -- Bruno. Len said it was an explosion.

Clearly you're embrarsing Strictly -- embracing Strictly now. A little

bit. A lot. Are you starting to feel like a dancer? I won't get carried

away, but yeah, slowly getting there.

You started as a novice. You've come a long way. Your top score to date

has been 31. Do you think you might beat that tonight? Hopefully. I

Our next couple is Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her partner

Brendan. Another popular couple. In rehearsals today, Sophie screamed,

when all the lights suddenly went out. She was gripped by an ice cold

boney hand. I do apologise. I get scared at Hallowe'en. I had to grab

hold of someone. Any way, here they are in training. ?

Last week I had the cha cha cha. It maybe wasn't the dance I felt the

most at home in. Len wasn't the biggest fan. I didn't feel it had

that tick and it wasn't cheeky. I was really pleased and happy with

the scores I got. I feel like the judges overall were pretty kind and

generous, actually. This week, I've got a bit of a

challenge because I'm not just learning the jive, I have to be a

predatory vampire on the dance floorment If -- Floor. If you want

me to get into character, maybe a Hallowe'en party with my

girlfriends. Nice. I trust my friends' advice more than anyone

else. If they can't help me get into character, no-one else can.

Trick or treat? You're going to look powerful, cool and you're going to

look dead. Ta-da. Can you help me get into character. First focus on

your prey. Eyes on the prize. Stick your clause in. When you have him

pinned, sink your teeth in. I don't think it's quite there. There's

something missing. I know! Where am I?

Dancing the nerve-jangling Jive, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Brendan

"Creepy" Cole. what a bit of fun that was. Out you

come. That was lovely. He looked exhausted. You look fresh as a

cucumber. Darcey? Sophie, the jive is a fast, high-energy, with massive

bounce and sharp kicks. The only problem with your knees, all the way

through are bent which is a real shame. Because they're beautiful

when they work. But they didn't get into strong, sharp kicks. That's

what I was missing. That was the only thing letting me down. You

still have the most fabulous entertainment value and style and

energy is there. Len, what did you think? You are a

very, very competent dancer, know that first of all. The things that

you need, you need to come out with more confidence, more impact, come

out and really perform. It's better than last week, but there's so much

more in you that could come out on this dance floor. Get out there and

attack it! Embrace the dance. Don't hit me. Bruno? Vampira the man

eater, definitely have satisfied your blood lust. He needs a

transfusion after that. I think you had too much blood. You become a bit

heady and leggy. They're all right, I think what you do, you have a

wonderful sense of style, a great performance value, at this stage,

now, certain dances require much more precision. You're kicks and

flicks have to be on the beat. They have to be sharp. You have to really

point your feet and your timing tonight wasn't as good as it always

is. Very unfortunate because there were a couple of moments wrong feet,

it happens on a live show. You don't get a second chance. It's a shame.

The thing is, we're here, we're not just being nasty. We're here to

point out these things. It went off. I'm sorry. It wasn't as good as we

could have been. It didn't help the way she scratched you there. She's

like that, Bruce. The poor boy. We all loved it. Off you go.

APPLAUSE Len said that you need more

confidence. Are you nervous when you go out there? You seem so cool and

calm. I actually let nerves get the better of me, which is annoying, the

music starts and it kicks in. I don't know, tonight, it could be any

number of factors. I don't want to make excuses. We're all trying our

best. It's fine. I need that advice. It's OK. A few weeks ago we were

blown away by the legendary charleston, can you get back to that

standard? I hope I get the opportunity. Yeah, I think I can. Of

course you can! Scores are in: What did you say then? I said,

"Don't you worry." Can I take this opportunity, everybody back stage,

the costume, the make up, the props, the set, the lighting, we get the

glory because we're on this little show, but look at this. You guys are

the competition. We have Mark and Iveta. They're planning an alien

invasion and Susanna is on the run from Kevin's wolfman. I might have

Their dance is set on a spooky lake shrouded in a ghostly mist and

bathed in eerie moonlight. I'm getting goose bumps thinking about

it. Here they are in training. Really, really enjoyed last woke's

show. It doesn't get any easier. It doesn't get any less terrifying, but

it was great it went so well on Saturday night. I was pal p Tating,

% operating and flatulating, I'm telling you. Is there nothing you

can't do darling? I was thrilled with what they said. It felt really

good. The comments were amazing. 35, that kept us on top of the

leaderboard. Couldn't wish for better. Very happy. That was so

good. I'm so proud of you. This week, we're dancing a Viennese

waltz. It's very haunting, sorry I didn't mean to do that. When it

comes to Strictly, everybody has different fears. There's one thing

I've been worrying about that I'm going to forget my steps. Every time

you're going to think you're forgetting the step, I'm going to be

there to remind you. Like I'm not spending enough time with him

already, he's now haunting my every waking hour. Cappuccino please.

I'm seeing Artem everywhere. Aahhhh... One, two, three. Two, two,

three. ? I can't get away from him. I'll

always have a fear of forgetting the steps, but with Artem everywhere I

go, hopefully I'll be haunting for the right reasons.

Dancing the vicious Viennese Waltz, Natalie Gumede and Artem "Chiller"

Chigvintsev. absolutely wonderful. Look! Look at

this crowd of people here. Lovely. Beautiful. I couldn't see the lake

for all the mist. But here's a bit of bread for the ducks. It's not

stale is it? No, dear, but you can have that for a bit of toast later.

Let me say that it was lovely. I think you're a wonderful dancer. But

each dance throws up its own challenges. Now the challenge in the

Viennese waltz is to stay in that hold, maintain your posture, and

keep that going bar after bar. The flickerly I loved, the reverse

turns, natural turns, it started to have the feeling almost of an

American smooth type of Viennese waltz. As much as I loved it, you

have to push this girl. Pick her up on those challenges, get her doing

the right dance to that right music. But it was lovely. Well done.

Put it on you Artem, a bit there. Don't know if you agree. Yeah.

That's good. Bruno? The lady of the lake emerges

from the depths and leaves us all spellbound. I don't think there is a

person in the country that's not screaming now, "This was magic! "

OK, Craig? You make me sick, darling. You are fab-u-lous! Well,

that couldn't be more emphatic. Darcey? I do expect so much from

you. But you never disappoint. It was beautiful. Everything is

lyrical, it flows. It's a dream. In the main they seem to love you

both. ?. Go on, off you go. ?. APPLAUSE

What about that? ! A fabulous from Craig. Bruno said it was magic. You

look so confident out there. It's hard to believe you're as nervous as

everybody else. Absolutely. It was really sick making tonight. You

really wouldn't know. A beautiful dance. Artem, nose better this week?

Yes, a little bit. Just there. Still beautiful. He's still milking. Len

wants you to push Natalie. How much further can you push her? We'll see.

Have to find out. That's really scary.

So many lovely couples. For this dance, Mark will be a spaceman.

Iveta will be the beautiful being he falls in love with. You, the

audience, will be all the extras, a group of grotesque aliens.

LAUGHTER Yes, you'll do very nicely. Here

they are in training. I was really thrilled with our

performance of the waltz. I really felt like I'd met the challenge. It

feels lovely to do something that you're not making people laugh and

you're not doing tricks or anything. You're just dancing. I thought you

danced it simply and with feeling and emotion. That was just beautiful

to see. It makes all the hard work worth it. I liked his comments. It

was lovely. I hope this week being Hallowe'en doesn't revert to being a

ghoul again. This week it's the paso doble. It's our other worldly take

on Hallowe'en. Forget all about aliens versus predator. This is

alien versus matador. We're going back to having something quite

outlandish and fun. We are trying to impress the judges. Blahblahblah.

What? In order to impress the judges, prepare for liftoff. What am

I going to do? Are you about to fly. This is a bit scary. I'm about to go

in the air. I hope this is going to hold me. Going up, Mark.

Would-hoo. -- woo-hoo. That was brilliant, but

you have to improve your performance while you're flying. I know where to

take you. We went to the theatre to get advice on the flying. Snment --

flying. Keep your shoulders back, and muscles tight. It's great seeing

what they do at Wicked. I hope I can take it to the ballroom on Saturday

night. Help! Dancing the poisonous Paso, Mark Benton and Iveta

Mark, my boy! How about that. Are you pleased? Yeah. Great fun.

Were you a bit scared? I loved it. Can I do it again? So was I. They

told me I might have to catch you. Bruno? It's after row Dave doing the

disco, it's more space cadet than matador. Fun, but not quite the

right content, I think for - I'm sorry! I loved it, but it's not

really a paso. Well, Craig, what did you think? The paso element was a

little bit heavy, stompy, shapeless, your isolation is very, very good.

Your rung up -- rhythm, as always is fantastic. You have a dancer inside

you. Where the disco reference is in the paso, I have no clue, but I

didn't mind that. You've made him such a mover. The way this all

moves, it's all got a rhythm about it. It's wonderful. Darcey? The

entertainment and the conviction and the attack is all there. To help

with the shaping, especially in the arms, because they get a bit flat,

just curve them, especially from the elbow. That's all I was wanting.

Then it would be more convincing space matador.

Len? Well, Houston we've got a problem here. It was long on

performance but short on technique. Sorry. Oh, dear. Is that it? We've

been told to be quick. Oh, sorry. Sorry, Len. Get off! Off you go.

Comen. That was out of this world, was it terrifying up there? I loved

it. He loved. It Craig says you've got a dancer inside you. Is he

right? I hope so. I'm still trying to find him, though. He's emerging.

OK, our sevenening couple is Rachel Riley and her partner -- seventh

couple is Rachel Riley and her partner Pasha. Another pair, a

lovely pair. For their dance Rachel is going to be a portrait that comes

to life in a haunted house. I spent a night in a haunted house once. I

cheered myself up by singing. I sang all night, sing, sing, sing. All the

songs from my album. In the morning, not only was I still alive, but all

the ghosts had gone.. LAUGHTER

That's not funny. Here they are in training.

Every week, I'm putting so much into it and it's so frustrating when you

don't do it on the night. Unfortunately, this wasn't a dance

that suits your personality. The only thing that I thought I actually

had done was keep in character. It was the vegetarian option. Ways -- I

was so disappointed. I was convinced we were going to be in the bottom

two again. The pressure is really building. We really have to fight to

keep our place in this competition. This week is Hallowe'en week and

we're dancing the American smooth. It's going very well. Of course,

there are things that need to be fixed. I just want to make sure I

can bring the good parts of training to the dance floor on Saturday

night. You had a lot of good comments from the judges, we just

have to get them all on our side.. Maybe we could make a potion.

Strictly potion? That's not what I had in mind. This

is where we mix up all the positive judges' comments to get a perfect

Hallowe'en American smooth. The potions won't be good without

glitter. I have a Glitterball first. We need perfect timing. Fancy foot

work. We need this one, Len's comments. Come out and give it

plenty of welly. That's good. That's adding to it. You're gorgeous love.

Which one is that? Very beautiful. This is precious stuff. It had a

beautiful flow. It's full of elegance. Everything we need for the

perfect Hallowe'en American smooth. Cheers.

kept your form all the way through. I loved it. The transformation in

your competition, because they've given you a battering in the past

few weeks. I love the ballroom, even though I have the blisters. You're

dofrd in blisters. The -- You're covered in blisters. The scores are

Ashley used to be in a band called Allstars. They did the theme song

from that scary movie, Scooby Doo. My favourite Scooby Doo song is

APPLAUSE I know the chorus. Here they are in

training. Last week before the jive, I was excited. The week before, Len

told me to give it loads of all that. It had speed, energy, it had

plenty of gotcha. I gave it loads. It was brilliant. It was great to

get positive praise off the judges. I found myself smiling naturally

throughout the dance. I enjoyed dancing for the first time in my

life. I did make it through and I'm over the moon and it's Hallowe'en.

I'm excited about this week. It's going to be fun. Kiss. This week I'm

dancing a tango. Easy isn't it? I have a problem keeping serious

during rehearsals. He's still like a five-year-old. You've got to be

serious to get into the mood. I'm going to try to instruct you, but if

you smile or laugh, I will make you suffer.

Don't laugh. Did she look scary? No. Stop laughing. Stop laughing. It's

amazing how much fun someone can have with a sheet.

The last costume was my favourite. Don't laugh! This is a bit like your

posture in tango. The tactics didn't work. It was fun though and a bit of

light relief from the training sessions. Are you going to take the

tango seriously now? I've never been more serious in my life.

Jordan. Ola's pleased. Very pleased, I

should think so too. He threw you around like a rag doll. . Well done.

Darcey, what did you think? Everybody loved it. I'm really

attracted to the evil Ashley. That's good. It really suits you. Only in

turns and pave ots you have to -- pivots, you have to watch you don't

take the stress in the neck. Try to watch that. Clipped moved,

beautifully clipped, and the sta catto beat, very nice all the way

through. ? Vment Through. If you want to shine, you have to polish.

It's the detail that is missing. You've got the character going out

there. You have the feel of the dance. It's just the small things.

Get that top a little bit better. Crisper feet. Just those small

details that you have to work on. I know you're a busy boy, but try to

find time. Polish it up. The night stalker takes his prey. You played

it so well. It had that menacing power to it. Len is right, you're at

that level, your performance and what you put into it is very good.

Now you have to go to the next stage, which is polish the

technique. It's all there, but there are slightly little faults that you

somehow don't get you to the next level. I know you can and you will.

With your help Ola. Craig? Aggressive, dark, mysterious, I

really loved it. Sort your head up. I don't recognise you at all. Get

off. I don't even know you. Off you go!

APPLAUSE A standing O for that tango. You

more than anyone here tonight could not wait to get dressed up. I was a

bit giddy. You were. Is it fun being part of the Hallowe'en special? It's

been amazing today. Everyone has been having a laugh back stage. It

relaxes a bit. But you realise you still have to do this. It's scary.

These two are divine together. Right, for their dance, Abbey will

be taking on the role of Miss Haversham from that wonderful

Charles Dickens' novel. I haven't seen this dance, but I've got Great

Expectations... All right, it's not very funny. But it's clever, you

see? This is live. Here they are in training. I loved Saturday's show. I

love the ballroom dances. I feel so much more comfortable doing those.

You need to extend your top line a bit more. But fantastic. I think

Craig is right. We hopefully will improve each week and I'm just

trying my best. Thank you for that. It's Hallowe'en week this week. I'm

doing the rumba. I always get so nervous before a live show, to the

point where I'm trembling. I'm scared that you're not going to

catch me. I'm going to try to confront her with those fears.

Aljaz, where have you taken me? You just wait and see. I brought you to

the haunted house. If you can stay calm in this situation, the show

will be dead easy. No lights. Follow me. Hold my hand. It's pitch black.

There were loads of noises and knocks. I am genuinely scared. He

kept saying "keep calm". Keep calm. I'm trying. They say confront your

fears is the way to cure them, but I'm not too sure.

the table. Aljaz! I thought I knew how petrified one could be, but you

know, if I can survive the haunted house, I should be able to survive
