Mary Berry. I love her. On Saturday night eight exceptional couples

danced to keep their place in the competition. But there are only

seven places in next week's Strictly's musical special which

means one couple must leave the show tonight.

You are right. Your votes have been counted, combined with the judges'

scores and the two couples with the lowest overall points will go

head-to-head. The judges will then have to decide who stays and who

I enjoyed it, good fun. It lacked a bit of flare here and there. --

The lifts were brilliant. Not the most electrifying Charleston I have

ever seen. Fantastic, after the hard work I

have put in. I loved the dance, I thought it was

great. You should be proud of yourself.

Really you have achieved a lot in this competition.

Not your best, but certainly not your worst. So, somewhere in the

musicals week. That was incredibly tense. Normally people come up here

and they are very nervous. You were practically in tears. A little bit

to make it through to the musicals week? To be into next week is just

so exciting. The judges were so strict on Saturday night. You were

so happy. You never know what is going to happen, so thank you. I am

gripping onto Kevin. That was the most tense moment in the whole of

the programme for me this season. You are doing the quickstep. We are

Absolutely brilliant. Now it is time to welcome our masters of a

movement, the judges. Welcome. We can do this alone. It would be

ridiculous to think that we could. We need the help of Len's lens. This

is when we look at the details from Saturday night. First, a little clip

from this evening. I do not know what was happening to Bruno. Torque

whilst you watch this. There is Mary. It is Bruno with a confetti

gun. It was too stiff to be true. What was sweet, anybody else would

have gone, never mind. But you are like, no. Len, let me ask you about

Mark and Yvette. You said you did not think there was enough swing. It

is very square. May I stand for a fraction? When you dance F there has

to be this. There has to be a swing. This is a swing and this is a sway.

I love that guy, he is fun. But he has to have a bit of a swing and a

sway. That demonstration was mesmerising. Let me ask you about

Ben and Christina because you were impressed by the lifting and the

storytelling. Here they are on Saturday night. He is throwing

everything at it. He has added so much more to it. He always has dance

content, but now he has become a personality. In the Charleston you

have to have that. All the celebrities have to give that story

they are telling through the dance. It is essential. I want to talk to

you about Ashley and the head inclined. This clip shows that. It

is like somebody has a drawstring and somebody pulls it in his back

and the tendon in his neck shortens and becomes inclined. You get a bit

tense when you are trying to hide and turning is very hard. He just

tips as he goes around. Bruno! Sorry, he did incredibly well. Give

credit to people who worked so hard and deliver wonderful performances.

Bruno you have only used a ten once. You gave it to Natalie. Why did they

deserve a ten? That was a proper tango. The determination and the

effort. It was a classic, proper, beautiful tango. It was the dance of

the night. The audience agrees with you, but you do not agree. I agree

it is a beautiful dance, but we have to be picky. We are coming up to the

quarterfinals and the final and we want the done thing to be

spectacular and perfect and I will not give a ten unless it is

absolutely perfect. Thank you very much, the judges. They are very

the dance off. How do you feel? I have had a classy time and I have

enjoyed every moment of it and I have been on borrowed time for a

wicked because strictly is going to the musicals. I am so excited. Me

This is your first time here. Did you think you might be in the

dance-off? Well, with the scores. Yes. Awful scores, obviously. I

thought it was your best dance yet. You have total faith I in him, don't

you? Absolutely. She is the best. OK. Enormous luck when you do your

dance later. Both couples want it stay in the competition but the

judges can be only safe one. Dancing to safe their place, please go nuts

for Mark and Iveta. It's a beautiful day. You may not

I cannot stop myself from smiling. They have done all they can and now

it is the turn for their competitors. This dance could make

Yes, they gave it their absolute all. Well done to both of you. We

won a found out who will be back to dance next week. Judges, it is time

to decide. I am about to ask you the name of the couple you think

deserves to be saved. The couple with the most votes will stay in the

competition, the other couple is out. In the event of a tie, the head

judge, Len, will have the casting result. Craig, who would you like to

save? Both couples made mistakes, but I would like to save then and

Christina. Congratulations, that is one vote for you. Dicey, who do you

think deserves to stay? The couple I would like to save based on

tonight's performance is Mark and Yvette. You are back in the running.

Bruno, who do you want to stay? Both enduring and very entertaining, but

the mistakes were obvious. I have to say Mark and Yvette. It is 2-1. Head

judge, Len, you have the casting vote. Whichever couple you choose,

will stay in the competition. They both went wrong, but one made a

small mistake, the other one made to quite blatant mistakes. On that

basis and on this performance I have to say Mark and Yvette. We are about

to say goodbye to Ben and Christina. Congratulations, you are through to

next Saturday. Then and Christina, come on over. We are so sorry to see

you go. They are on their feet in the studio. Our audience is on their

feet. It has been a real pleasure for all of us watching you dance.

You came here never having dance before. How have you enjoyed the

whole experience? It has been a great experience and Christina has

great. I have enjoyed it and you do not get to dress like this every

day. And all the nice comment I have been getting, the support has been

amazing and I have had a great time. I will dance at my kids' parties.

Christina has been great and I have thrown her around a little bit and I

have dropped a few times. She has been great. Thank you ever so much

for putting up with me. Christina, is there anything you would like to

say? If I gave a trophy for the best person, it would go to you. You

started at zero and you made me so proud every week and I had the best

time and the most rewarding time. And somebody with no experience and
