Week 10 Results Strictly Come Dancing

I was planning to wear this anyway. Good evening and welcome to this

week's results show. On Saturday, a chorus line took to the dance floor,

but only six places remain and one couple must take their final curtain

call tonight. Your votes have then combined with the judges' and two

couples will have debated the dreaded dance-off will stop the

judges will then have the ultimate decision of who stays and who goes.

Please welcome our judges! Also singing, Alfie Boe will be here. And

I will be reliving the sell-out performances last night with the

judges. But before we revealed the first couple to face the dance-off,

let's remind us how they all got on last night. It is musical night and

I cannot wait to get started. Jazz hands! Snigger beak, you can see all

the studio. -- sneak a peak. Just taking my magic carpet out for a

little plight. It almost builds a bit naughty. Freestyle week, it's

finally here. It just feels like a really special night. Everyone is so

excited. I'm looking forward to it, I love it. Showtime! I'm going to go

It was absolutely sublime. Incredible all stop --. Technically,

your best to date. You are just a bundle of joy. The hills are alive

with a vision of duty. The chemistry between you is amazing. That was

great. Amazing. I'm just gobsmacked. I really and truly loved it. It was

really good, very good. That's all I needed to hear. Susanna Reid closed

the show with a blockbuster of a quick step will stop --. It was an

epic number. We had a great time doing it all week. It was amazing.

What a show. Musical night was fantastic. Craig got the ten paddle

out for the first time. Down the bottom of the leader barred, Mark

performance value out of everything. He's been here before, what does he

much for those beautiful moves! Thank you for coming up here. This

is where we dissect what happened on Saturday night. Let's welcome Len's

Lens. Len's Lens! Look at him. Yes, as I said, this is when you can talk

over the details of Saturday night. I'd like to begin with the most

beautiful, the most stunning spins of the night. It took the audience's

breath away on Saturday. Let's have a look. There you go! Look at him!

Pif vot! -- Pivot! Another one. Such Majesty! I'm ready for my close-up!

Your hip... I was pulling up, darling. Very well done! Let us

begin with Natalie and Artem. I don't understand, you gave them an

eight because you wanted much more foxtrot and less swishing. This

looks like the foxtrot American Smooth to me. There was - there was

three bars - one, two, three, three, two, three, four. Out he comes -

wallop! That is all we got. I do understand. You want the performance

level to be high. But, you know, it is an American Smooth, which I

understand, it is much freer. I just like to see a little bit more of the

foxtrot if it is an American Smooth foxtrot. If it is an American Smooth

waltz, I want to see more in the hold. As lovely as it was, for me,

it lacked a little bit of foxtrot feel. Fair enough. Darcey, let me

ask you about Ashley's rumba. It is a very difficult dance. He did

great, didn't he? What he got was being sensual and fluid without

looking too feminine. It is very easy to look feminine. But he was

very strong and loving towards her. Everything was directed at her. He

was very masculine in the role. That is not easy. Bruno, let me ask you

about Abbey and Aljaz. The first perfect - they got four tens. You

couldn't tell who was the professional dancer? She performed

like a leading lady. We have two professional dancers there. Your

eyes are drawn to her. Talk about blossoming. This is an incredible

achievement. The girl, the confidence, she really gave the

performance of the night for me. Brilliant. Craig, we were all aghast

because you got out the ten. For you, because it is dusty, when you

pull it out, you want to go, "Look what I'm doing!" Look at your face.

Livid. Is it because of the gravitas of the situation? No, I don't know

why that is. Or do you hate being happy? I love being happy. Claudia,

I'm there to do a job, it is to hold paddles from 1 to 10. I don't have

to get excited about it. It is part of the job, darling. I have to ask

you about Patrick and Anya. You only gave them an eight. Do you think you

could have given them a bit more? No, I believe I'm right. He was

flat-footed. I loved the polka section. He is very good at that. It

was fast, furious, it was clean. But there was a lift that I thought was

a little bit unstable. When she landed, he overspun her ever so

voted off. The first one out gets one extra point. Second one out two

and so on. The one that's remaining at the end of the whole thing gets

six extra judges' points which can make so much difference. It is truly

an exhausting dance! To confirm, it is you four that decide, you judge

together as you watch? We do, indeed. There will be arms flying

around! I can only imagine that! Let's hear it for the judges.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE So far, two couples have secured their place in

next week's Strictly swing-a-thon. Who will be joining them? Over to

you said on the night that you really loved Ashley and Ola's rumba.

What do you want to see them do differently? A little bit more hip

action. If you put the slightest amount in, that will please all four

of us. I said about more expression in your free arm, you are so

busyworking some of the turns, you sometimes forget the free arm. So

try and engage one or two moments of that in this dance-off. You did do a

brilliant job. Do exactly the same. Your first time in this position.

How are you feeling? Oh... Nervous. Ready to fly the magic carpet again?

I have to go up there again! Very nervous, but you can only do your

saved couples. They are giddy, all coming up here. Sometimes you come

up here and it is really tense, but you are cuddling each other. How

much did you love dancing to that song on Saturday night? I would

happily dance it again. Before they announced my name, I changed my

mind! Natalie and Artem, you were emotional on Saturday night because

I know it was a big old performance and it was an emotional song. How

happy are you that you are through? Delighted. Saturday night was

literally the best night of my life! Was it? I was so thrilled to be

dancing again. I'm so happy for you. You are not crying, which is good?

No, no. I don't totally mean that! I don't want you to cry. I like it

when you are happy crying! I will stop speaking! How will you cope

with two dances next week? You have working, babies - will you be

alright? I hope so. I want to say thank you to everyone who voted for

us because although the dance, from my point of view, I didn't dance it

perfectly, if it made someone smile, I'm so grateful. I know. You were

down in the bottom two. You were touching heads. It was so cute.

Ashley and Ola, you are about to face the dance-off. I feel like we

have been here before, Mark. You got emotional on Saturday night. You

have formed a very special bond. What is your plan of action for

to decide. We are about to ask each of you the name of the couple you

think deserve to be saved. In the event of a tie, the head judge has

Craig? I would like to save Ashely and Ola. Darcey? Ashely and Ola. If

Bruno chooses you, you are safe. I would like to see Ashely and Ola

stayed. That means weird to say goodbye to Mark and Iveta.

Congratulations, you are through to next week. And I was in complete

agreement, Ashely and Ola. Here we are, it has been one heck of a

ride. You benefit us to couple to watch. -- you've been a fantastic

couple to watch. Have you enjoyed it? I've got to say thanks to my

dear friend and fantastic teacher. She is amazing all stop and my

amazing wife and children. The beautiful band and the judges, all

amazing. I've had a ball. And we've had one with you. Everybody is on

their feet. You've choreograph some great routines. What would you like

to say to mark? This is my first season and it couldn't be any more

special. Mark made it so special and memorable. I enjoyed every minute

with you. You made me laugh. I taught you dancing but you taught me

so many more things. Here's my family and we will stay in touch.

Isn't that lovely? What a guy. You two are magic together. You prepare

for your last dance. A very sad goodbye to Mark and Iveta but they

will be joining us on Monday at 6:30pm on BBC Two. For backstage
