This is Strictly Come Dancing - The Results. | :01:00. | :03:14.
Hello and welcome to our Halloween Results show. | :03:15. | :03:32.
A huge thank you to our professional dancers for that wonderful chess | :03:33. | :03:36.
Saturday night provided us with thrills and chills on the | :03:37. | :03:42.
And another new couple at the top of the Leader Board. It was an amazing | :03:43. | :03:51.
Halloween party and some routines were scarily good and couple that | :03:52. | :03:52.
were just plain scary. But sadly, tonight, we must say | :03:53. | :03:54.
goodbye to another couple. Your votes have been combined with | :03:55. | :03:57.
the judges' scores, and the two couples with the lowest overall | :03:58. | :04:00.
points will face the dance off. couples with the lowest overall | :04:01. | :04:02.
points will face the dance-off. And the decision of who stays and | :04:03. | :04:08.
who goes lies with this petrifying Also on the show | :04:09. | :04:11.
tonight, performing his new single Demons, | :04:12. | :04:33.
James Morrison will be here. And the judges will be scrutinising | :04:34. | :04:37.
Saturday's performances with the Before we find out the first couple | :04:38. | :04:43.
to face the horror of the dance-off, let's take a look back at last | :04:44. | :04:51.
night's spine-tingling show. It's the scariest weekend of the | :04:52. | :05:03.
year, it's Halloween! Oh! This is the week everyone gets most excited | :05:04. | :05:08.
about. I've seen a werewolf in this building. It's going to be scary. | :05:09. | :05:14.
It's going to be spooked tack It feels like you are at the biggest | :05:15. | :05:30.
fancy dress party ever. How are you feeling? To be honest, dead, I'm a | :05:31. | :05:37.
ghost. Stop horsing around everyone, I know it's Halloween, five minutes | :05:38. | :05:46.
and in the studio. I'm a little bit scared. You're about to get | :05:47. | :05:58.
spooked. I thought the whole routine was absolutely spectacular. It was | :05:59. | :06:04.
monstrous fun from the master of dance horror. That was one of the | :06:05. | :06:09.
most dramatic waltzer I've ever seen. -- waltzes. There is an | :06:10. | :06:20.
awkward charm about the way you dance and I like it. The hips were | :06:21. | :06:24.
not really working but luckily I was distracted by the body. The Celcer | :06:25. | :06:30.
is dead and buried, but actually I really, really enjoyed it. -- the | :06:31. | :06:38.
salsa is dead. It was a bit rocky but it wasn't a horror this was a | :06:39. | :06:45.
little bit under rehearsed. Fantastic energy and great | :06:46. | :06:48.
storytelling. You perform everything the same way. In certain dances you | :06:49. | :06:55.
have to become another character. You are such a natural performer and | :06:56. | :06:59.
it's lovely to see the dance floor, life when you both dance together. | :07:00. | :07:05.
It wasn't great, Kate, I wish it was. I thought it was very stiff as | :07:06. | :07:11.
a matter of fact and very awkward. You made mincemeat out of that! And | :07:12. | :07:17.
what MS, I'm sorry. Just a bit of bad luck really, the kicks were | :07:18. | :07:20.
horribly out of time, it was flat-footed. I'm really sorry, this | :07:21. | :07:27.
just isn't your dance. It was not sexy and it certainly wasn't | :07:28. | :07:31.
seductive, darling. It was more like watching a barn dance. That was the | :07:32. | :07:37.
nail in the Coughlin, the footwork. Every time you make an appearance we | :07:38. | :07:41.
know about it, it is fabulous. For me it was the flamenco arms, I | :07:42. | :07:46.
needed more Spanish style on the shaping. Don't be discouraged, it | :07:47. | :07:54.
was a fantastic performance. You never fail to give you all and I | :07:55. | :08:00.
love that from you. Thank you. You are so passionate. The waltz was | :08:01. | :08:07.
fabulous. Your footwork, fabulous. It was beautiful. Well done. I love | :08:08. | :08:16.
your lines, the elegance of these lines is just beautiful are really | :08:17. | :08:22.
nice. It was smooth, it was stylish, I loved those turning lifts you did, | :08:23. | :08:25.
you are exceptional and I like you very much. There was no stressing, | :08:26. | :08:30.
there was no messing, it was a lovely routine and very well done. | :08:31. | :08:40.
That is how you bring a dance back to life, so joyous and inventive, | :08:41. | :08:45.
beautiful. I really loved the opening scenario, fantastic | :08:46. | :08:53.
choreography. You have sold it. Yeah! All the footwork was great, | :08:54. | :08:59.
you did it with such gusto, it was good to see. Sharp, staccato, | :09:00. | :09:09.
feisty, incandescent. That was one powerful performance. It was | :09:10. | :09:15.
beautiful work. I'm going to dub you the Queen of Halloween, oh yes! | :09:16. | :09:21.
CHEERING Nine! Nine! Three of them! | :09:22. | :09:44.
Here's a reminder of the leaderboard after Saturday's performances. | :09:45. | :09:50.
At the top we have Georgia and Giovanni with a score of 35 and down | :09:51. | :09:56.
at the other end Carol and Pasha with a score of 13. That's only half | :09:57. | :10:01.
the story, your votes at home may have changed all of that. | :10:02. | :10:03.
11 couples danced for survival on Saturday. | :10:04. | :10:05.
But who is about to face the scariest thing | :10:06. | :10:07.
The first couple safely through to next week is, Jeremy and Karen. | :10:08. | :10:34.
CHEERING Thank you! Thank you, thank you! | :10:35. | :10:45.
Well done, brilliant! Also back are, Georgia and Giovanni. | :10:46. | :11:04.
APPLAUSE Thank you! Yes! | :11:05. | :11:23.
Surviving here again next week are, Anita and Gleb. | :11:24. | :11:30.
Back to dance again are, Helen and Aljaz. Thank you! Thank you, thank | :11:31. | :11:56.
you. APPLAUSE | :11:57. | :12:03.
And now the first couple who must fight for survival in the dance-off | :12:04. | :12:18.
is, Jamelia and Tristan. The rest of you will have to hold on a little | :12:19. | :12:23.
longer to find out your fate. Please come and join me, Jamelia and | :12:24. | :12:25.
Tristan. Thank you. Oh! This is your third time in the | :12:26. | :12:41.
dance-off, what's going through your mind now? You know what, I think | :12:42. | :12:45.
I've kind of come to the conclusion that may be the public don't like | :12:46. | :12:54.
me. No! We love you! What I have to do is show the judges I care about | :12:55. | :12:57.
the competition, I want to do well and hopefully they continue to like | :12:58. | :13:02.
me. It was entertaining enough to do it again. They liked you so much | :13:03. | :13:09.
they want you to do it again. That is good advice. Let's not forget you | :13:10. | :13:12.
in the tricky middle position on the Leader Board, sometimes people think | :13:13. | :13:16.
their votes are not necessarily needed there, and you can never | :13:17. | :13:20.
predict, can you? Let's talk to the judges for some advice. Darcey, you | :13:21. | :13:25.
said Jamelia tired a little bit on Saturday, what advice can you give | :13:26. | :13:29.
her to keep her energy up in the dance-off? You must not forget to | :13:30. | :13:32.
breathe, it is very hard when something is that fast and full of | :13:33. | :13:35.
energy you get overexcited straightaway and the dance has to | :13:36. | :13:39.
build, so you have to just push it by the end. But you were rocking, | :13:40. | :13:43.
you really were, it was such an enjoyable performance. | :13:44. | :13:47.
APPLAUSE Loads of energy. | :13:48. | :13:52.
You really enjoyed Jamelia's performance on Saturday. Of course I | :13:53. | :13:57.
did, I don't understand. You should not be here. Your performance was | :13:58. | :14:01.
very good. Your timing was very, very good and you are likeable. The | :14:02. | :14:06.
only thing you have to do to make it better is just sharp and those | :14:07. | :14:10.
flicks. But as a performance and as a dance and as a concept it was | :14:11. | :14:15.
great. Soap do the same. The same! More of the same. We all | :14:16. | :14:20.
wish you the best of luck, my darling. We will see you in the | :14:21. | :14:26.
dance-off. Claudia! Thank you, tests, I have four happy couples | :14:27. | :14:30.
with me. First of all, Jeremy, your reaction? You looked shocked, you've | :14:31. | :14:35.
made it halfway through, young man. You are through to next week, did | :14:36. | :14:40.
you think that would happen? No, I'm so grateful for the votes we have | :14:41. | :14:45.
had and we are improving. Craig's four was a sensation for us. It | :14:46. | :14:50.
really was, it's a big moment for us in the competition. Now, Georgia, | :14:51. | :14:59.
you are crying. I'm literally holding them in, it's the best night | :15:00. | :15:04.
of my life! Because you are so happy you are through? I'm so happy we are | :15:05. | :15:09.
through, it's been a hard week, I've been properly, in pain and we got | :15:10. | :15:13.
there, we have done it and it is unbelievable! -- I've been poorly. | :15:14. | :15:19.
Anita, you have the jive next week, totally different pace. Completely | :15:20. | :15:23.
different. We'd like to request that you keep the horns. I don't think | :15:24. | :15:27.
they can leave, they are attached for life! Do you think you can get | :15:28. | :15:32.
in there on Monday and learn the new dance? I'm excited but I don't know | :15:33. | :15:36.
the song, he wants it to be as a prize. New week, new challenge, | :15:37. | :15:39.
start from scratch and see what happens at the end of the week. | :15:40. | :15:44.
Can't wait. Helen, I have to ask you, because you are so sweet and | :15:45. | :15:47.
have a serious face under the lights. I know it is serious but you | :15:48. | :15:52.
don't want your friends to leave. Exactly. Do you sometimes look down | :15:53. | :15:58.
and wonder why you are dressed as a money? It is a strange completion. | :15:59. | :16:03.
It is and before we go on for the dancers on Saturday we get nervous | :16:04. | :16:06.
and give each other pep talks but then you look around and wonder what | :16:07. | :16:09.
you are dressed as, the weirdest fancy dress party we've ever been | :16:10. | :16:12.
to. The hottest money I've ever seen. Ever! Says the Horn Lady! | :16:13. | :16:25.
Scary. Back with his new single Demons, please go nuts for the | :16:26. | :16:26.
brilliant James Morrison. # This time I won't be afraid, | :16:27. | :16:38.
ooohhh # Underneath my skin the cuts run | :16:39. | :17:08.
deep # I just need a little time to work | :17:09. | :17:24.
'em out # I can hear them now and then when | :17:25. | :17:28.
I try to make a stand # They try their best to pull me | :17:29. | :17:48.
under # We are rulers of our minds, yes we | :17:49. | :17:51.
are # I know that there's an angel | :17:52. | :18:08.
watching over me # This time I won't be afraid, | :18:09. | :18:11.
ooohhh # We're only saved when we come | :18:12. | :18:29.
undone # It's just the way that we're made, | :18:30. | :18:34.
ooohhh # Underneath my skin the cuts run | :18:35. | :18:38.
deep # I just need a little time to work | :18:39. | :18:57.
them out Thank you to the brilliant | :18:58. | :19:12.
James Morrison and our professional | :19:13. | :19:38.
dancers, Kristina and Gleb. Now for some dance royalty - | :19:39. | :19:41.
it's time to welcome the judges! Boys and girls, thank you for | :19:42. | :20:02.
joining me. This is when we talk in specifics about things you might | :20:03. | :20:05.
have said on Saturday night. Can we do this alone, Bruno? | :20:06. | :20:08.
No. I agree. It is time to welcome Len's Lens. Len's Lens! Len, let me | :20:09. | :20:23.
talk to you about Peter and Jeanette. You liked it, but you said | :20:24. | :20:28.
his shoulders were up, something to do with the placement of his hand. | :20:29. | :20:33.
Talk us through it. Yeah. I feel that on occasions, and here is a | :20:34. | :20:39.
good example, his hand is a bit high, almost on Jeanette's shoulder. | :20:40. | :20:47.
I don't know if you noticed, but there is a gap between his elbow and | :20:48. | :20:54.
hers. If he were to turn his right hand slightly, that would allow her | :20:55. | :21:03.
to rest upon his right arm and maybe relieve some of that engine. I love | :21:04. | :21:09.
that you are all in agreement. Darcey, let's talk about Georgia and | :21:10. | :21:15.
Giovanni, top of the leaderboard. He said they were glued together. I | :21:16. | :21:19.
presume that is a good thing? Very good. You have to work as one. Look | :21:20. | :21:25.
how she is totally next to him. If the hip was as well, it would be | :21:26. | :21:28.
even more impressive. You have to work as one body, especially for | :21:29. | :21:36.
this dance. Craig, let me ask you about Kirsty's cross and swivel. You | :21:37. | :21:39.
said at the beginning that you had high hopes and work quietly punching | :21:40. | :21:43.
the air, which for you is probably smiling. Let's have a clip of when | :21:44. | :21:51.
she was down on the floor. There is not a lot of cross, and she is just | :21:52. | :21:59.
tapping the foot. Could you do a demo? Yes, darling. You need to keep | :22:00. | :22:06.
your knees together. Cross, and swivel. And if you can keep the | :22:07. | :22:13.
knees together, this whole floor is moving, by the way. They should have | :22:14. | :22:22.
taped that down. Bruno, I would like to talk to you about Jeremy. You did | :22:23. | :22:28.
not score him massively high, but he did better than usual. Much better. | :22:29. | :22:36.
What did you love about it? I mean, the Michael Jackson. Look, they are | :22:37. | :22:41.
together! He has done one thing right! He is doing it in sync. The | :22:42. | :22:52.
salsa was far from perfect, but he got something right. It was so much | :22:53. | :22:57.
fun. Just a word to the wise. Len's Lens, this was the end of the show | :22:58. | :23:05.
on Saturday night. Is it anything embarrassing? Oh, yes! Come on. Look | :23:06. | :23:14.
at that face! It's adorable. You don't stop. We have got 15 minutes | :23:15. | :23:18.
of that. Guys, thank you so much. Let's hear it for the judges! | :23:19. | :23:22.
Four couples have escaped the dance off. | :23:23. | :23:24.
Six couples all stand in fear of the red spotlight. | :23:25. | :23:30.
For one couple, the Halloween nightmare continues. | :23:31. | :23:37.
Who will join Jamelia and Tristan? Time to find out. | :23:38. | :23:46.
In no particular order, safely through to next week are... Jay and | :23:47. | :24:12.
Aliona! Back to dance again next Saturday | :24:13. | :24:14.
are... Katie and Anton! Returning next week will be... | :24:15. | :24:45.
Kellie and Kevin! Thank you! So that means Kirsty and Brendan and | :24:46. | :25:39.
Carol and Pasha, one of you is safe, one of you is in the dance-off. I | :25:40. | :25:45.
can reveal that the couple in the bottom two tonight who will compete | :25:46. | :25:58.
in the dance-off is... Kirsty and Brendan. So Carol and Pasha, | :25:59. | :26:06.
congratulations. You're through to next Saturday. Kirsty and Brendan, | :26:07. | :26:16.
please come and join me. So sorry. You did go wrong on Saturday night. | :26:17. | :26:20.
No one ever wants to end up in the dance-off, but could this be the | :26:21. | :26:23.
chance to write those wrong is? Of course. I know what I did wrong and | :26:24. | :26:28.
I have to rectify that. I want to stay. Let's took to the judges. We | :26:29. | :26:36.
want you to stay. Craig, you said Kirsty had a bit of bad luck on | :26:37. | :26:39.
Saturday night. What can she do to turn her fortunes around? This is a | :26:40. | :26:44.
perfect second chance. Get out there and show the world exactly what | :26:45. | :26:51.
you're made of. We want to see exactly what you rehearsed, and it | :26:52. | :26:55.
will be great. Just be strong and proud of yourself and do it to the | :26:56. | :27:01.
best of your ability. Len, you said Kirsty is like snakes and ladders, | :27:02. | :27:05.
up and down. What advice do you have for her to deliver in the dance-off? | :27:06. | :27:11.
Well, let's have a think about this. You had a mistake with one of the | :27:12. | :27:15.
lifts and we have to rectify that. There were comments about the | :27:16. | :27:20.
swivels. Get a bit more crisp with that. Plus, come out and give it | :27:21. | :27:32.
all. Go on, girl! I have taken that on. I will try my best. No mistakes. | :27:33. | :27:38.
Fingers crossed. We are all behind you. Claudia, over to you. I am here | :27:39. | :27:47.
with the rest of our safe couples. Incredibly relieved. Kellie, the | :27:48. | :27:50.
judges were harsh with you on Saturday night. Next week, you have | :27:51. | :27:55.
the waltz. I can't wait to do the waltz. I can't wait to slow down! I | :27:56. | :28:04.
loved the foxtrot. I look forward to being in hold. Carol, you must have | :28:05. | :28:12.
been worried. Your face was worried. Did you think, this is it? I really | :28:13. | :28:16.
did. I would like to thank everybody who voted for us, otherwise it | :28:17. | :28:20.
probably would have been it. You have the American Smooth next week. | :28:21. | :28:24.
I'm excited? I don't know what it is, but yes! I have to be honest, | :28:25. | :28:30.
I'm not sure myself. Peter, the judges said they want to see a | :28:31. | :28:35.
different side to you. Would it be impertinent to say that I think the | :28:36. | :28:39.
Charleston will be your dance? You know, I am really looking forward to | :28:40. | :28:46.
it because it's happy. Isn't it? I am excited about doing it, because | :28:47. | :28:53.
it's a new area for me. Katie, after those judges' comments, how relieved | :28:54. | :28:58.
are you, and what would you like to say to the people who voted for you? | :28:59. | :29:02.
I cannot tell you how relieved we are and how much we want to thank | :29:03. | :29:08.
everybody for appreciating our homage to front of the opera and | :29:09. | :29:13.
Sarah Brightman. -- Phantom Of The Opera. We had a great time learning | :29:14. | :29:17.
the paso doble, and I am delighted that everybody at home loved it. | :29:18. | :29:22.
Congratulations. Thank you so much. If you would like to hear more from | :29:23. | :29:27.
all our lovely couples, you can join the magnificent Zoe throughout the | :29:28. | :29:30.
week on It Takes Two. We have been busier than ever. I remember the | :29:31. | :29:40.
feeling so well. Next week is no exception. We have all of this. | :29:41. | :29:47.
There is for the judges' entrances. And boy, do they know how to make an | :29:48. | :29:52.
entrance. We are the junior judges. And more of this. Not on my watch. | :29:53. | :30:01.
Like I said, busy. Join us for It Takes Two on BBC Two, Monday to | :30:02. | :30:09.
Friday. We are here with two nervous couples per pairing to face the | :30:10. | :30:13.
dance-off. You love dancing so much, so how much do you want to | :30:14. | :30:19.
stay? I so want to stay. I am really annoyed I made that error. I just | :30:20. | :30:25.
have to rectify that, listen to what the judges said. I am having such a | :30:26. | :30:30.
brilliant time. I love the Charleston as well, so I am going to | :30:31. | :30:35.
have fun. What is the best piece of advice you can give Kirsty? I have | :30:36. | :30:39.
said it in the past. You have to deliver a performance you are proud | :30:40. | :30:43.
of. Leave nothing on the floor, but I am extremely proud of you from | :30:44. | :30:47.
start to finish. You have been phenomenal, so let's do another | :30:48. | :30:48.
phenomenal one. Get into position, let's hear it for | :30:49. | :31:02.
Kirsty and Brendan. Come on, you. Jamelia, you've been in this | :31:03. | :31:06.
position before, does that help with the nervous? | :31:07. | :31:10.
Not really. It has helped me to have a different perspective on the | :31:11. | :31:14.
dance-off and I'm seeing it now as another opportunity to get it right | :31:15. | :31:17.
and another opportunity to do a performance. | :31:18. | :31:21.
Good girl. Tristan, any advice for Jamelia this | :31:22. | :31:24.
time round? No, just enjoy yourself, that is | :31:25. | :31:30.
what we are here for. The dance did not go too badly. That is what the | :31:31. | :31:34.
judges said, more of the same. We would love both couples to be | :31:35. | :31:38.
here next week but we must lose one tonight. First dancing for their | :31:39. | :31:44.
place on Strictly it is Kirsty and Brendan. | :31:45. | :32:30.
Kirsty and Brendan can do more and now fighting for their survival it's | :32:31. | :33:35.
Jamelia and Tristan. Good work! Thank you. Huge well done | :33:36. | :35:27.
to both couples, you gave it your all. Now we will find out which | :35:28. | :35:32.
couple will dance again next week. Judges, it is time to decide. I'm | :35:33. | :35:40.
about to ask each of you the name of the couple you think deserves to be | :35:41. | :35:43.
saved, the couple with the most votes will remain in the competition | :35:44. | :35:47.
meaning the other couple is out of Strictly Come Dancing. In the event | :35:48. | :35:51.
of a tie, Len, you will have the casting vote. Kirsty and Brendan, | :35:52. | :35:57.
Jamelia and Tristan, this is it. Craig, who are you going to save? | :35:58. | :36:01.
Both couples actually raised their game in a and and it was just so | :36:02. | :36:06.
wonderful to see everyone dancing for that like that, but I'd like to | :36:07. | :36:11.
save Jamelia and Tristan. Congratulations, that is one vote | :36:12. | :36:15.
for you Jamelia and Tristan. Darcey, who do you think deserves to stay in | :36:16. | :36:20.
the competition? Again, they did perform so much better, they upped | :36:21. | :36:24.
their game and it's a very hard but the couple I'd like to save is | :36:25. | :36:29.
Jamelia and Tristan. That is two votes to Jamelia and | :36:30. | :36:33.
Tristan, so if Bruno now votes for you also that means you are indeed | :36:34. | :36:38.
safe. Bruno, who do you want to stay in Strictly Come Dancing? They | :36:39. | :36:43.
really both improved from last night. But I have to say Jamelia and | :36:44. | :36:46.
Tristan. That means we are going to have to | :36:47. | :36:52.
say goodbye to Kirsty and Brendan. Please come and join us. Jamelia and | :36:53. | :36:57.
Tristan, congratulations. We will see you next week. Len, I know it | :36:58. | :37:03.
makes no difference to the overall result but did you agree with your | :37:04. | :37:09.
fellow judges? I did agree. Thank you very much. We are so | :37:10. | :37:13.
gutted to see you leave. I'll never forget you dressed up in the | :37:14. | :37:17.
American smooth. It's been a wonderful, wonderful | :37:18. | :37:22.
experience. But Jamelia deserves it far more than me. | :37:23. | :37:25.
APPLAUSE I did my best but it's my time to go | :37:26. | :37:29.
so that it. I just want to say thank you to Brendan who has been | :37:30. | :37:33.
incredible and I really mean that. He's an incredible friend and an | :37:34. | :37:38.
incredible dancer so thank you. I'd like to say the same. When we were | :37:39. | :37:45.
part that I was excited to be her partner and I've seen somebody who | :37:46. | :37:49.
had no dance experience and not really any performing experience | :37:50. | :37:52.
turn it around and become quite a performer, I'm proud of the last | :37:53. | :37:55.
performance and proud of you throughout. I've enjoyed this show | :37:56. | :38:00.
and the series. You made it up to week six in the competition so you | :38:01. | :38:04.
did well. I've exceeded my own expectations, which surely is fine. | :38:05. | :38:08.
I didn't expect to win, I was really happy just to be in week six, I'm | :38:09. | :38:11.
really thrilled, Halloween show, brilliant. I'm going out! Off you | :38:12. | :38:19.
go, we will miss you both. Thank you, Brendan. We are going to miss | :38:20. | :38:29.
Kirsty and Brendan. Join Zoe on Monday's It Takes Two at six 30p. | :38:30. | :38:33.
For the latest news and analysis go to the website bbc.co.uk/ strictly. | :38:34. | :38:40.
We will be back at 6:30pm when the couples take to the floor with ten | :38:41. | :38:45.
brand-new routines next Saturday. But now, dancing as out it is Kirsty | :38:46. | :38:47.
and Brendan. We are happy to stay in and go | :38:48. | 3:11:17
through to next week but so sad for Kirsty. Kirsty has been like my big | 3:11:18 | 3:11:17
sister, I'm devastated. She's such a strong and brilliant woman and it is | 3:11:18 | 3:11:17
sad we will not see her next week. I will still be at rehearsal with a | 3:11:18 | 3:11:17
positive attitude on Monday morning. It's been a brilliant week, I will | 3:11:18 | 3:11:17
never get used to it. This whole getup, what is not to like. I'm sad | 3:11:18 | 3:11:17
that I will not be maleficent again. I'm not saying the dance floor has | 3:11:18 | 3:11:17
become my friend but we are getting more used to it. Next week we are | 3:11:18 | 3:11:17
doing the Charleston. I have heard somebody is happy about that. I | 3:11:18 | 3:11:17
can't wait | 3:11:18 | 3:11:18 |
