Looking beautiful! | 0:09:13 | 0:09:17
Mollie is doing a Charleston, | 0:09:17 | 0:09:18
and she's taking on the role
of a beautiful bird-of-paradise - | 0:09:18 | 0:09:21
or, as they call them
in Blackpool, seagulls. | 0:09:21 | 0:09:23
APPLAUSE | 0:09:23 | 0:09:28
I loved that dance. We both gave it
everything we have. And I had | 0:09:28 | 0:09:32
thought we had done it really well
until we got to the judges. | 0:09:32 | 0:09:36
There was a lot of content, but all
the artistry went away. | 0:09:36 | 0:09:41
I definitely thought Blackpool was
just gone. | 0:09:41 | 0:09:46
Mollie and AJ! I could not believe
it. We are dancing the Charleston at | 0:09:46 | 0:09:54
Blackpool.
This week, we are dancing the | 0:09:54 | 0:09:58
Charleston which is so much fun. In
Blackpool, everything has to be | 0:09:58 | 0:10:03
bigger and better so I know what AJ
is like and he wants to throw in | 0:10:03 | 0:10:08
some lifts. Up here, down here, back
here come around here. It is going | 0:10:08 | 0:10:12
to look fantastic on TV!
Lift me up! I'm so excited for | 0:10:12 | 0:10:17
Blackpool and it means I can go up
North to see my family. | 0:10:17 | 0:10:23
As Mollie's remark can't visit
London to watch the live show, they | 0:10:23 | 0:10:26
decide to take the Hull experience
to her in Hull. | 0:10:26 | 0:10:33
I had a surprise visit today, Mollie
and AJ. | 0:10:33 | 0:10:37
And Nanette whipped out the family
photos, of course. | 0:10:37 | 0:10:42
Oh, Nana, no!
She is cute! Have you been watching | 0:10:42 | 0:10:48
the show? Are you enjoying it?
Lovely. What are you dancing this | 0:10:48 | 0:10:52
weekend? The Charleston.
Oh, that is hard! And we showed her | 0:10:52 | 0:11:02
the Charleston. I think you are
perfect together, I really do. | 0:11:02 | 0:11:07
Ten! I wish you all the luck in the
world, but I enjoy it, that is the | 0:11:07 | 0:11:11
main thing. | 0:11:11 | 0:11:12

Yes! | 0:13:31 | 0:13:39 | |
Wow, those lifts Yes! | 0:13:39 | 0:13:40
Where did they come from? | 0:13:40 | 0:13:45
Your Nana Eileen is going to be very
proud of you. | 0:13:45 | 0:13:52
While you two soak it all in,
let's say hello to our fabulous | 0:13:52 | 0:13:55
live singers, Hayley,
Jamie, Andrea, Tommy | 0:13:55 | 0:13:56
and, of course, Dave Arch
and his brilliant orchestra! | 0:13:56 | 0:13:58
APPLAUSE | 0:13:58 | 0:13:59
Good to see Dave getting
into the holiday spirit! | 0:13:59 | 0:14:03
Let's chat to the judges. | 0:14:03 | 0:14:04
Has Mollie found her
dancing wings, Shirley? | 0:14:04 | 0:14:09
What a way to open the show in
Blackpool. You certainly found your | 0:14:09 | 0:14:14
wings, let me tell you what I liked
this evening. You had slow movements | 0:14:14 | 0:14:18
and slow, sensual movements, and you
came out and you gave it some attack | 0:14:18 | 0:14:22
and you hit some lifts, very
difficult, and you executed them | 0:14:22 | 0:14:26
while so I was pleased with you
today. | 0:14:26 | 0:14:28
Thank you so much!
Smiling, that is a good sign. AJ, | 0:14:28 | 0:14:35
that is all you had to do, let the
bird out of the cage! Let her take | 0:14:35 | 0:14:40
flight!
, down, upside down, spinning | 0:14:40 | 0:14:45
around! Like a ride down on the
pleasure Beach. It is as much fun. | 0:14:45 | 0:14:53
Much more confidence and strength.
Still some of the links sometimes, | 0:14:53 | 0:14:57
you look like you are losing
direction, where are we are going? | 0:14:57 | 0:15:01
You have to keep concentration all
the way through. | 0:15:01 | 0:15:04
Great improvement, very good. Thank
you! | 0:15:04 | 0:15:09 | |
Let's ask the swivel
king what he thought | 0:15:09 | 0:15:11
of your Charleston, Craig? | 0:15:11 | 0:15:15
There was no time at which made the
footwork clumpy and erratic, I | 0:15:15 | 0:15:21
thought.
You sometimes had a floppy foot, you | 0:15:21 | 0:15:25
had to choose to point it or flex it
but not in between. | 0:15:25 | 0:15:30
But those lifts were and absolute
dream! | 0:15:30 | 0:15:38
I am so glad he ended on a positive.
I thought there was a lot of | 0:15:38 | 0:15:45
position, it was really exact.
Incredibly impressive lifts, very | 0:15:45 | 0:15:51
daring. Just the one where you got
turned around and the shoulders | 0:15:51 | 0:15:57
started to go out. Hold the frame.
You are getting better. Well done. | 0:15:57 | 0:16:01
APPLAUSE
You are getting better. Well done. | 0:16:01 | 0:16:09
Well done! | 0:16:09 | 0:16:14
Mollie and AJ! | 0:16:14 | 0:16:15
APPLAUSE | 0:16:15 | 0:16:22
That is how you do it. How does it
feel? | 0:16:22 | 0:16:27 | |
It is a huge honour to open the
show. | 0:16:27 | 0:16:30 | |
The most incredible TV show. The
crowd are on fire. Thank you so much | 0:16:30 | 0:16:35
to everyone.
The atmosphere is extraordinary. You | 0:16:35 | 0:16:43
have this extraordinary respect for
dancers. You went to the winter | 0:16:43 | 0:16:48
gardens last night.
I went to watch. It was | 0:16:48 | 0:16:52
unbelievable, so good.
I have fallen in love with dancing. | 0:16:52 | 0:16:55

How did you enjoy this weekend?
It was pretty amazing. I love you in | 0:19:29 | 0:19:35

wedding picture would be. | 0:19:35 | 0:19:40

Blackpool.
Who knew? Not me. | 0:19:46 | 0:19:52
We are doing the paso doble to the
final song in Strictly ballroom. | 0:19:52 | 0:20:02
Everything is different. The judges
will be looking for Susan, even | 0:20:02 | 0:20:06
though she is small, to be a giant,
she will have two fill the ballroom | 0:20:06 | 0:20:12
with her dominance and presence and
power. | 0:20:12 | 0:20:14
We are doing the end scene from the
film, I saw it as a kid, it has been | 0:20:14 | 0:20:21
inspiring me for my whole life.
The final scene is a dramatic 1980s | 0:20:21 | 0:20:27
.com petition. Kevin takes Susan to
the cinema for his vision of the | 0:20:27 | 0:20:31
dance.
This bit gives me chills. | 0:20:31 | 0:20:38
There are a lot of flamenco moves.
We need to capture the drama and | 0:20:38 | 0:20:45
intensity.
The costumes are amazing. | 0:20:45 | 0:20:49
Incredible costumes. You will look
just like that, that it is, the | 0:20:49 | 0:20:53
famous move.
Oh, yes. Amazing. There is so much | 0:20:53 | 0:21:02
to remember, the posture, the
intensity. I hope we can do it well | 0:21:02 | 0:21:06

favourite movies.
Good fun. | 0:23:33 | 0:23:38
Will they see off the competition
with that performance, Bruno? | 0:23:38 | 0:23:45
Susan, the drama queen. Somewhere
between Penelope Cruz and pantomime | 0:23:45 | 0:23:52
queen. My favourite was the flamenco
section, building up like a pressure | 0:23:52 | 0:23:58

intensity, but be careful to keep | 0:23:58 | 0:24:04
everything big. All the shaping. Not
just your face but the body. At | 0:24:04 | 0:24:11
times, it looked like a paso doble
that had shrunk in the wash. | 0:24:11 | 0:24:15
Everything as to be powerful not
just in the face. | 0:24:15 | 0:24:19
But great fun. | 0:24:19 | 0:24:23
Craig, you scored Susan
a five last week. | 0:24:23 | 0:24:25
How was her paso tonight? | 0:24:25 | 0:24:28
Well, it needed more of everything,
more intent, purpose, dramatic | 0:24:28 | 0:24:37
shaping in the body. Deliberate and
stronger use of the skirt, for | 0:24:37 | 0:24:42
instance. The approach was a little
bit too soft. | 0:24:42 | 0:24:47
But... I agree with Bruno.
I absolutely loved that flamenco, | 0:24:47 | 0:24:55
that was excellent.
What we don't appreciate is how fast | 0:24:55 | 0:25:04
this ballroom is it is daunting.
When you have to fill it, it is | 0:25:04 | 0:25:11
difficult. There were moments where
you were trying to catch up. It is | 0:25:11 | 0:25:15
about getting down and using those
soft knees to travel. The | 0:25:15 | 0:25:22
exaggeration of shaping. Again,
those flamenco stamps sold it for | 0:25:22 | 0:25:28
me.
Shirley? | 0:25:28 | 0:25:35
I like to think there was a nice mix
of paso doble but I do believe the | 0:25:35 | 0:25:41
Flamengo Park have to be kept inside
the body, you can't go out with | 0:25:41 | 0:25:46
those.
The paso can go outside sometimes. | 0:25:46 | 0:25:53
If you took the skirt to the very
end and released it, that would have | 0:25:53 | 0:25:58
pleased Craig.
He covered the floor very well. And | 0:25:58 | 0:26:02
I think you did well, well done.
The audience loved it. Well done. | 0:26:02 | 0:26:14
You have done yourself proud and
blackballed proud. | 0:26:14 | 0:26:16

APPLAUSE | 0:26:17 | 0:26:18

It feels extraordinary in here. It
is absolutely amazing, his dream | 0:26:35 | 0:26:41
paso doble, in Blackpool.
You wanted to do this since you were | 0:26:41 | 0:26:46
eight, you have been bedding
Strictly and finally they said, you | 0:26:46 | 0:26:50
go.
How was it? Since I was eight, it | 0:26:50 | 0:26:55
has been a dream to do that number,
and here with Susan, now one of my | 0:26:55 | 0:27:02
best mates, and unbelievable moment.
All my goals are here. Fantastic. | 0:27:02 | 0:27:10
Scores are in. | 0:27:10 | 0:27:11
The judges have their scores. | 0:27:11 | 0:27:12

You are so adorable. You get a five,
you are, that is OK! | 0:27:33 | 0:27:40
That will be perfect. | 0:27:40 | 0:27:42
If you don't want Susan
and Kevin's number to be up, | 0:27:42 | 0:27:44
then you will need to make sure
that they get your vote | 0:27:44 | 0:27:47
when it opens later. | 0:27:47 | 0:27:48
All the details you need to see them
dance again next week | 0:27:48 | 0:27:51
are on your screen right now. | 0:27:51 | 0:27:53
Still to come. | 0:27:53 | 0:27:54
Gemma goes Downtown. | 0:27:54 | 0:27:55
It's like Uptown,
but a bit further down! | 0:27:55 | 0:27:57

Saturday night was fun.
I loved that salsa. | 0:28:34 | 0:28:41
Everyone loved the salsa, it had the
fluidity. | 0:28:41 | 0:28:46
He swung me around with one hand. I
am proud of that lift because no one | 0:28:46 | 0:28:50
has done it on Strictly.
Incredibly impressive. Only eight | 0:28:50 | 0:28:55
couples are left and we are going to
Blackpool. You really feel a sense | 0:28:55 | 0:28:59
of achievement.
This week, we are going to dance a | 0:28:59 | 0:29:06
samba to the Spice Girls.
All their songs were fun and happy, | 0:29:06 | 0:29:12
I am really looking forward to it.
Are you ready? I don't think so. | 0:29:12 | 0:29:17
Look at your shoes, you need Latin
shoes. | 0:29:17 | 0:29:20
I had better get my Latin shoes.
Let us do some samba. One of the | 0:29:20 | 0:29:26
hardest things is the samba roll.
I am finding the samba roll rather | 0:29:26 | 0:29:33
like a sausage roll!
It is difficult. | 0:29:33 | 0:29:38
And again. It is a really weird
movement which stretches your hip | 0:29:38 | 0:29:43
muscles. I need to soak in a bath.
This samba is killing me. I didn't | 0:29:43 | 0:29:48
realise there was so much to learn.
I mustn't forget about. | 0:29:48 | 0:29:55
The bounce action is fundamental to
samba. | 0:29:55 | 0:29:59
Never stop bouncing. I am feeling
like a bouncy ball but I am having | 0:29:59 | 0:30:03
fun.
It has been a hard week training. | 0:30:03 | 0:30:06
Just about got the samba roll, just
have to remember to bounce and don't | 0:30:06 | 0:30:11
make any mistakes. | 0:30:11 | 0:30:12

Brilliant! Listen to that! You were
worried about the bounce, you had | 0:32:27 | 0:32:34
the whole place bouncing! Super! It
is all priceless. | 0:32:34 | 0:32:38
Let's see what the judges thought... | 0:32:38 | 0:32:39
What they really, really thought. | 0:32:39 | 0:32:42
Starting with Scary Spice, Craig? | 0:32:42 | 0:32:47
I thought it was a little bit spiky,
a little bit stiff. I would like to | 0:32:47 | 0:32:55
see the rolls a little bit smoother,
but I loved that you'd dropped into | 0:32:55 | 0:32:59
the splits after that. And the
timing, I thought was absolutely | 0:32:59 | 0:33:03
exceptional.
Yes! Thank you. Well, I loved your | 0:33:03 | 0:33:11
shadow rolls. The curve, the upper
body, it got better and better, very | 0:33:11 | 0:33:15
impressive. Beautifully travelled on
your promenade runs as well. The | 0:33:15 | 0:33:20
only think it was lacking in energy
by the very end, which I have never | 0:33:20 | 0:33:25
seen you do in the past so the only
thing is, keep that energy and that | 0:33:25 | 0:33:29
stamina, keep it strong.
Stamina. What did you think of the | 0:33:29 | 0:33:36
samba rolls? You have the most
amazing vertical line through your | 0:33:36 | 0:33:41
body so everything looks easy on the
eye. The Shadow reverse roll is one | 0:33:41 | 0:33:48
person standing behind the other and
you have to reach far forward with | 0:33:48 | 0:33:51
your hips and far back and you do/
cross, back sides together and keep | 0:33:51 | 0:33:58
one rhythm going slowly with your
arms, you are outstanding in that | 0:33:58 | 0:34:01
roll! And the reverse rolls.
Outstanding! Bruno. Thank you for | 0:34:01 | 0:34:08
printing girl Power to the Tower! By
the way, if never danced better! I | 0:34:08 | 0:34:16
love it. For me, it was a great
tribute to pop icons. Placed very | 0:34:16 | 0:34:22
well, it was cheeky and it was
funny. I agree with the other | 0:34:22 | 0:34:26
judges, the rolls, I tell you, they
were sizzling. Excellent | 0:34:26 | 0:34:30
performance, great Street. Thank
you! It is girl Power and you've got | 0:34:30 | 0:34:35
it, let's hear it for Debbie and
Giovanni. Thank you so much. | 0:34:35 | 0:34:41
APPLAUSE | 0:34:41 | 0:34:46
Well done, darling. If somebody told
you five years ago you would be in | 0:34:46 | 0:34:50
Blackpool Tower Ballroom dancing
dressed as Geri Halliwell with this | 0:34:50 | 0:34:54
one, would you have gone, no, don't
be ridiculous? I would think they | 0:34:54 | 0:34:59
were mad! The dancers do not come as
naturally to you, how did you find | 0:34:59 | 0:35:04
that? I just totally enjoyed the
night. I don't know what I did, I | 0:35:04 | 0:35:08
just had a great time! And ginger
spies herself, that is not her name! | 0:35:08 | 0:35:14

I liked the Foxtrot with you, it
felt like we were connected and | 0:36:19 | 0:36:23
everything moved well. Some of the
footwork was OK but at week eight, | 0:36:23 | 0:36:27
it needs to improve. It is not nice
when the red light hits you. | 0:36:27 | 0:36:32
Blackpool was at stake it added to
the tension of the night. | 0:36:32 | 0:36:36
Jonnie. Jonnie. Jonnie and Oti.
Being that close would be hard not | 0:36:36 | 0:36:44
to make it Blackpool, it is
incredible. This week, we have a | 0:36:44 | 0:36:48
tango. It is fast and staccato.
Jonnie is picking up a headache from | 0:36:48 | 0:36:55
the speed of his head. You've got to
do it quite sharp! Our dance is | 0:36:55 | 0:37:01
futuristic. Neon lights. It would be
amazing if we went to the iconic | 0:37:01 | 0:37:07
Blackpool Tower and turned on the
Tower lights. We have to show them | 0:37:07 | 0:37:11
Strictly is in town. There it is,
Jonnie, the iconic Blackpool Tower. | 0:37:11 | 0:37:17
It's a bit dark and it needs
sunlight. How do we get up there? We | 0:37:17 | 0:37:21
climb! Really? No, there is a lift.
Doing anything this weekend? We are | 0:37:21 | 0:37:27
dancing this weekend. This is how we
turn the lights on, are we doing it? | 0:37:27 | 0:37:31
Let's do it! All right. Wow! Can we
change the lights? Yes, I can change | 0:37:31 | 0:37:39
the lights with my phone. What
colour? Yellow. Lou. Yellow! Blue! I | 0:37:39 | 0:37:48
think we have broken it. We had a
bit of fun today. Which ended up | 0:37:48 | 0:37:52
with was breaking the Tower. Let's
get out of here. Jonnie! Slightly | 0:37:52 | 0:37:57
awkward, not sure if we are going to
get up again. | 0:37:57 | 0:38:02

It is Jonnie and Oti! They are on

good, brilliant! | 0:40:13 | 0:40:14
So good, brilliant! | 0:40:14 | 0:40:18
A futuristic Tango. | 0:40:18 | 0:40:20
But has he got a future
on the show, Darcey? | 0:40:20 | 0:40:23
I thought Flash Gordon had just
arrived! When you came out, the | 0:40:23 | 0:40:29
focus, thank you so much. The
determination, the attack was all | 0:40:29 | 0:40:32
there, just what I wanted! Very nice
clip the transitions as well. I | 0:40:32 | 0:40:39
would like if your frame had become
slightly lower and you could store | 0:40:39 | 0:40:45
even more just bending those knees.
I could see you were working really | 0:40:45 | 0:40:48
hard at holding those shoulders back
and your topline. That bottom is | 0:40:48 | 0:40:54
still sticking out, sadly. You have
moments by the end where you started | 0:40:54 | 0:40:59
leaning on Oti but a big difference
come well done. | 0:40:59 | 0:41:04
The moody face. | 0:41:04 | 0:41:04
The moody face. | 0:41:04 | 0:41:06
Will that Tango be giving
you sweet dreams, Bruno? | 0:41:06 | 0:41:11
I'm trying to dream in my mind how
to help you with your posture. I | 0:41:11 | 0:41:15
think you need to think about the
tail bone of your spine pointing | 0:41:15 | 0:41:20
downwards. And your chest.
Everything needs to be in a straight | 0:41:20 | 0:41:23
line, not too far forward. In a
straight line. When the vertical | 0:41:23 | 0:41:27
line becomes much stronger, the legs
operate much better. The frame is a | 0:41:27 | 0:41:31
little bit better, but still posture
has got to be better. Bruno. I like | 0:41:31 | 0:41:41
the techno- Tango. You look like you
were chasing around with | 0:41:41 | 0:41:48
determination, whizzing and turning.
There was a section, you were so | 0:41:48 | 0:41:52
well in sync. You kept all the same
angles. With the three professional | 0:41:52 | 0:41:58
dancers. But let's talk about your
bomb! You've got irreversible bum | 0:41:58 | 0:42:07
syndrome.
You are obsessed. I see it every | 0:42:07 | 0:42:12
week and you say, I'm going to keep
it in. You kept sticking it out. | 0:42:12 | 0:42:16
That stops you having the right
stance because you keep moving | 0:42:16 | 0:42:20
forward. Apart from the bum, I like
the techno- tango. | 0:42:20 | 0:42:25
He likes the bum secretly as well. | 0:42:25 | 0:42:27
He likes the bum secretly as well. | 0:42:27 | 0:42:29
I hope you're going to score him
more than a four this week, Craig. | 0:42:29 | 0:42:32
You were leaning over Oti like the
Tower of Pisa. And that means we | 0:42:32 | 0:42:37
missed the all-important fee shaping
that you have to really try and | 0:42:37 | 0:42:41
achieve. It is also stompy for my
liking. Also, I didn't feel like you | 0:42:41 | 0:42:49
were leading the dance, I felt like
you're reacting to Oti rather than | 0:42:49 | 0:42:53
reading her. Rubbish! Not rubbish
actually, Darcey Bussell. But I | 0:42:53 | 0:43:03
loved, loved the routine.
We all loved the Tango, didn't we, | 0:43:03 | 0:43:11
ladies and gentlemen? Thank you very
much. | 0:43:11 | 0:43:13 | |
Thank you very much. | 0:43:13 | 0:43:14

Good job, my lovely.
I tell you what, we thought it was | 0:43:17 | 0:43:25
magnificent. You enjoyed it as well.
I did enjoy it but we knew the Tango | 0:43:25 | 0:43:28
was going to be tricky and the
posture was a challenge so we tried | 0:43:28 | 0:43:33
but I guess we forgot. Maybe I
didn't focus enough. No, it was | 0:43:33 | 0:43:38
perfect. We liked it just like that.
Just like that. Your best friend | 0:43:38 | 0:43:44
Martin is here with your girlfriend,
Sally. So sweet, he was looking | 0:43:44 | 0:43:47
quite furtive with the judges
comments. He was the first person to | 0:43:47 | 0:43:54
push me in my wheelchair. He went to
school and I feel like he had just | 0:43:54 | 0:43:59
started school, sorry, and I came
back and I feel like you just needed | 0:43:59 | 0:44:03
a friend so he pushed me. Thank you,
Martin, we love you, come every | 0:44:03 | 0:44:08

There is still all this to come... | 0:44:46 | 0:44:47
Well done.
The Quickstep is so, so fast. I just | 0:44:47 | 0:44:54
have to make sure I don't step on
Gorka's feat. Choreography is tricky | 0:44:54 | 0:45:01
places, it will tricky!
Aljaz has said for my eyes, look | 0:45:01 | 0:45:08
over the rainbow, from one side to
the other. It is about making it all | 0:45:08 | 0:45:12
come together at the right time and
the right time is Blackpool on | 0:45:12 | 0:45:15
Saturday. | 0:45:15 | 0:45:19
I can't wait to see all that. | 0:45:19 | 0:45:20
We are having such a nice
time here in Blackpool. | 0:45:20 | 0:45:23
What have you got there, Claud? | 0:45:23 | 0:45:29
It is a seagull and he needs in
this, I am good to see if I can find | 0:45:29 | 0:45:33
him one. | 0:45:33 | 0:45:36
Next up is Gemma Atkinson
and her partner, Aljaz Skorjanec. | 0:45:36 | 0:45:42
Gemma's been to Blackpool many
times on family holidays, | 0:45:42 | 0:45:45
but never in her wildest dreams did
she think she'd be dancing | 0:45:45 | 0:45:49
an American Smooth in this
beautiful ballroom. | 0:45:49 | 0:45:51
Did you find a nest
for that seagull, Claud? | 0:45:51 | 0:45:54
Well, it was the strangest thing. | 0:45:54 | 0:45:56
He just flew off. | 0:45:56 | 0:46:00
I hope he found his nest. | 0:46:00 | 0:46:05
LAUGHTER | 0:46:05 | 0:46:06
APPLAUSE | 0:46:06 | 0:46:13
How did you find last Saturday?
Everything you put into which was | 0:46:13 | 0:46:18
lovely, I really enjoyed Saturday.
Out of all the steps in our Viennese | 0:46:18 | 0:46:26
waltz, the hardest was the fleckerl
which is when the shoe came off. But | 0:46:26 | 0:46:31
you recovered. And you didn't lose
your posture. | 0:46:31 | 0:46:33
Incredible. Cinderella lost her shoe
and she still got to go to the wall. | 0:46:33 | 0:46:42
We are dancing and American Smooth
foxtrot. | 0:46:42 | 0:46:45
I am struggling with pushing with
the standing leg, difficult when you | 0:46:45 | 0:46:52
are in heels, a lot to think of.
She is really starting to understand | 0:46:52 | 0:46:57
how controlled it has two B.
That is it. Our dance is set in a | 0:46:57 | 0:47:03
tram in Blackpool, so what better
way than to travel in style in a | 0:47:03 | 0:47:09
tram.
We are in Blackpool! | 0:47:09 | 0:47:19
I used to come here with my dad. He
passed away when I was 17. | 0:47:19 | 0:47:25
It is tinged with a little bit of...
Sightseeing is fabulous, we have | 0:47:25 | 0:47:30
seen the illuminations, the tower am
the ride, it has been great. | 0:47:30 | 0:47:38
I feel like I am a kid again.
And doing our dance will be | 0:47:38 | 0:47:43
beautiful for you. I can't wait for
her to enjoy it. | 0:47:43 | 0:47:47
We have had an amazing time but it
is time to get some work done and | 0:47:47 | 0:47:51
put on a cracking performance in
that ballroom. | 0:47:51 | 0:47:53

I am so proud.
I can tell. | 0:50:14 | 0:50:21
I bet you thoroughly enjoyed that.
Did they do the Tower Ballroom | 0:50:21 | 0:50:26
justice?
You must be a really great student, | 0:50:26 | 0:50:31
you listen and you listen some more.
It takes a great lady to listen to | 0:50:31 | 0:50:36
the way the man is leading. Some
beautiful arm styling, you have made | 0:50:36 | 0:50:42
me emotional. To the correct of --
correct side of the body, the head | 0:50:42 | 0:50:48
was in the correct place, your
energy was incredible. | 0:50:48 | 0:50:52
Bruno?
With this performance, it had a | 0:50:52 | 0:51:00
weightless flow which was magic.
Graceful, elegant, exquisite use of | 0:51:00 | 0:51:06
arms. You are getting better every
week. It is good to see somebody who | 0:51:06 | 0:51:12
applies everything you say, you
work, combat and it gets better, | 0:51:12 | 0:51:19
fantastic.
Getting better. | 0:51:19 | 0:51:26
You were taking your pivots on your
toe. And your fingers, although | 0:51:26 | 0:51:31
you're shaping of the hands is
improved, there was a bit too much | 0:51:31 | 0:51:35
energy in them. But beautiful
control, the lines flowed well. And | 0:51:35 | 0:51:47
you were listening to corrections
and improving. | 0:51:47 | 0:51:50
That is fantastic to see, beautiful.
APPLAUSE. | 0:51:50 | 0:51:59
The quality throughout, the tracking
of the feet, such control. You kept | 0:51:59 | 0:52:04
your body taut and strong, beautiful
finishes of those lines, I really | 0:52:04 | 0:52:09
loved it.
Making an improvement just when it | 0:52:09 | 0:52:17
mattered the most, raising the
ballroom roof. | 0:52:17 | 0:52:19
APPLAUSE. | 0:52:19 | 0:52:28

What I love is your family, your mum | 0:52:41 | 0:52:51

that. | 0:54:34 | 0:54:38 | |
I can't believe it, incredible.
Bring on Blackpool. | 0:54:38 | 0:54:47
This week, we are dancing the paso
doble and we are dancing to this | 0:54:47 | 0:54:53
James Bond theme so I get to play
James Bond, brilliant. | 0:54:53 | 0:54:56
The most important thing is the body
shape. If it is not right, it will | 0:54:56 | 0:55:02
look like walking around.
Paso doble is a strong dance, about | 0:55:02 | 0:55:08
hitting the right shapes, it is
quite dark and intense. | 0:55:08 | 0:55:13
Because it is Blackpool, we have to
go big. You are going to parachute | 0:55:13 | 0:55:19
onto the floor.
I have arranged a little treat. | 0:55:19 | 0:55:22
Nadiya has a great idea of taking me
to an indoor skydiving centre to see | 0:55:22 | 0:55:28
what it feels like.
Ready? | 0:55:28 | 0:55:30
Yes, ready. Indoor skydiving, you
have to keep your hips forward, any | 0:55:30 | 0:55:38
wrong moment and you are spinning
all over the place. I am training | 0:55:38 | 0:55:41
and having fun. I always have fun
when I am training, Nadiya! | 0:55:41 | 0:55:50
I think I have the hang of this now.
James Bond. I just hope on Saturday | 0:55:50 | 0:56:00
our paso doble blows the public and
the judges away. | 0:56:00 | 0:56:03

You never shy away from
complex routines, do you? | 0:58:28 | 0:58:30
Bruno, did that put
you in double-O heaven? | 0:58:30 | 0:58:33
Mission accomplished!
I think you have earned your licence | 0:58:33 | 0:58:40
to thrill. And the outfit to go with
it, by the way. | 0:58:40 | 0:58:45
Any time of the week.
I was slightly distracted, darling, | 0:58:45 | 0:58:52
but I did notice your hands were a
little bit splayed. But a powerful | 0:58:52 | 0:58:56
performance, incredible.
The sparks were flying between you, | 0:58:56 | 0:59:05
it was strong, the attack, the
drama. Those arms and fingers, very | 0:59:05 | 0:59:09
splayed. But very strong shaping and
everything, the drama. | 0:59:09 | 0:59:18
A very dramatic performance from a
very masculine man but I have two | 0:59:18 | 0:59:25
commend your twist and turn, you
swivelled your foot, a very | 0:59:25 | 0:59:30
difficult figure and it was
extremely impressive, well done. | 0:59:30 | 0:59:35

it, up, down! Your mum and dad are
here. Yes, mum and dad! It feels | 1:00:03 | 1:00:11
different now, I'm enjoying being

Tonight, they're doing a Quickstep
to 'We're In The Money'. | 1:01:19 | 1:01:22
And they're hoping to hit
the jackpot with the judges again. | 1:01:22 | 1:01:25
APPLAUSE | 1:01:25 | 1:01:27
How amazing was that day? It was
insane. What an honour to do the | 1:01:27 | 1:01:37
first Argentine tango of the series.
Incredible! We had to nine, nine, | 1:01:37 | 1:01:43
ten, ten. This was my favourite! At
all the dances we have done, this | 1:01:43 | 1:01:48
was the top for me.
But Blackpool, we are dancing the | 1:01:48 | 1:01:52
quick stop any giant revolving coin.
You are doing something weird. I | 1:01:52 | 1:01:59
think every single dance has been
the most challenging but this right | 1:01:59 | 1:02:02
here, it has the stamina part, I'm
like, what? It is intense. Going to | 1:02:02 | 1:02:08
Blackpool! So excited! We are
dancing on coins so we should go to | 1:02:08 | 1:02:15
an arcade, a classic British seaside
activity, we have to go. | 1:02:15 | 1:02:18
In which people know how to have
fun! Ready to experience the true | 1:02:18 | 1:02:22
Blackpool arcade? Ready! Let's do
it! I seem to be a natural at the | 1:02:22 | 1:02:30
Penny push but Gorka, not so much! I
lost all my pennies and Alexandra | 1:02:30 | 1:02:38
won all of them. Gorka had a chance
to redeem himself by playing air | 1:02:38 | 1:02:41
hockey. This is the one I used to
play all the time and I thought I | 1:02:41 | 1:02:45
was quite good. Come on! No, no! She
beat me again. Third time lucky, | 1:02:45 | 1:02:52
Gorka and I went to the type grabber
and I really wanted that teddy bear! | 1:02:52 | 1:02:56
You want that teddy bear, and brings
you a teddy bear! It says, I love | 1:02:56 | 1:03:01
you! I love you too. Today has been
amazing, I feel like a five-year-old | 1:03:01 | 1:03:06
kid. Hopefully, we have better luck
with our Quickstep than Gorka had | 1:03:06 | 1:03:10
today at the arcade. | 1:03:10 | 1:03:11

You are enjoying
every moment of that! | 1:05:27 | 1:05:29
I think you covered every
single inch of the floor, | 1:05:29 | 1:05:31
which is no mean feat. | 1:05:31 | 1:05:33
Joint top last week along with
Davood. | 1:05:33 | 1:05:39
Was she bang on the money? | 1:05:39 | 1:05:43
Gapping at the end, but is there
nothing you can't do? Incredible, | 1:05:43 | 1:05:47
amazing! Thank you. Darcey. Gorka, I
love this choreography. What you did | 1:05:47 | 1:05:56
with the Charleston bits. And you
know what? Alexandra, the strength | 1:05:56 | 1:06:01
in your topline, with the bounce of
this dance floor, not to show any of | 1:06:01 | 1:06:07
that, it was effortless. Just
gorgeous! Gorgeous! I also loved the | 1:06:07 | 1:06:16
musicality you did in this routine.
I didn't see any gapping from where | 1:06:16 | 1:06:20
I'm sitting so you looks like you
are connected together really well | 1:06:20 | 1:06:24
and the music was quite fast coming
kept up with it, we were all | 1:06:24 | 1:06:27
bouncing here! You were so
energetic, it was full of life and | 1:06:27 | 1:06:32
light and bright, well done.
Thank you! Bouncing on this lovely | 1:06:32 | 1:06:38
floor at Blackpool. Bruno. As fresh
as 20th -- as precious as 24 carat | 1:06:38 | 1:06:44
gold! I mean, the detail, the style.
The accuracy. Intricacy. All done | 1:06:44 | 1:06:53
with, I mean, it was magic. I could
not see any effort in what you did | 1:06:53 | 1:06:57
and you did something that could
come out of a classic Hollywood | 1:06:57 | 1:07:00
movie. It was that good. Beautiful!
What comments! We think you are a | 1:07:00 | 1:07:09
golden partnership. Tears again! You
are gorgeous. Claudia has a tissue. | 1:07:09 | 1:07:16

APPLAUSE | 1:07:18 | 1:07:22
Having a little cry! I told myself I
would not cry but I'm so overwhelmed | 1:07:22 | 1:07:25
to make it to this point, it is
amazing, I'm so happy to be with | 1:07:25 | 1:07:29
these amazing people! I love you all
so much, honestly. They love you as | 1:07:29 | 1:07:36
well, the camaraderie is amazing.
And you often speak to somebody and | 1:07:36 | 1:07:40
each week, you also crying, Gorka.
Each week, people go, I have had, | 1:07:40 | 1:07:46
this is a harder stance. But you
said, no, I'm loving it! I wanted | 1:07:46 | 1:07:51
the quickstep! Yes, I love jumping
around, this is perfect. Well done. | 1:07:51 | 1:07:57
Well done. | 1:07:57 | 1:07:58

It's a must! | 1:08:45 | 1:08:46
It's a must! | 1:08:46 | 1:08:48
Our final couple is Joe McFadden
and his partner, Katya Jones. | 1:08:48 | 1:08:54
APPLAUSE | 1:08:54 | 1:08:55
For their salsa, they'll be dancing
to a club classic from the '90s. | 1:08:55 | 1:08:59
So turn the lights down,
prepare to throw some shapes | 1:08:59 | 1:09:03
and get your glow sticks
at the ready, as Joe | 1:09:03 | 1:09:06
and Katya 'Ride on Time'! | 1:09:06 | 1:09:07
APPLAUSE | 1:09:07 | 1:09:11
My goodness, we got through the
rumba with a nine from Shirley. | 1:09:11 | 1:09:21
Exquisite job, well done. You did
amazing coming you did so well! I | 1:09:21 | 1:09:24
wanted to go through every week but
this week, I really wanted to go | 1:09:24 | 1:09:28
through. So happy. Salsa in
Blackpool. It is going to be epic. | 1:09:28 | 1:09:36
Yes, let's do it! There is pressure
this week to make it a big, bad, | 1:09:36 | 1:09:41
brilliant salsa because we are in
Blackpool, the home of ballroom. I | 1:09:41 | 1:09:44
need to give the audience something
special. It's a big number, a lot | 1:09:44 | 1:09:49
going on, we have to have a lot of
energy moves in this salsa and one | 1:09:49 | 1:09:53
of the greatest moves is the chess
pump. | 1:09:53 | 1:09:55 | |
The crazy! We need to make sure it
is not just the arms shaking, it is | 1:09:55 | 1:10:01
his entire body, the rib cage is
going. And you've got to let loose. | 1:10:01 | 1:10:06
As long as I get my chest down!
This series has been really building | 1:10:06 | 1:10:11
up to this moment.
I never thought I would be so | 1:10:11 | 1:10:14
excited about going to Blackpool!
This week, we are doing right on | 1:10:14 | 1:10:19
time. I thought, wouldn't it be
great if you fly in on the clock? | 1:10:19 | 1:10:24
Oh. A bit scared of heights. No? A
little bit. What better way to | 1:10:24 | 1:10:29
prepare than to go to that! You are
entering the ballroom on the clock, | 1:10:29 | 1:10:33
it is going to be a little bit like
riding on this wheel. But not this | 1:10:33 | 1:10:40
high? You never know! It is pretty
big! Great, we should do some | 1:10:40 | 1:10:44
rehearsals.
It has been really great being here | 1:10:44 | 1:10:48
in Blackpool and hopefully, it is
our time to shine on the dance | 1:10:48 | 1:10:51
floor. | 1:10:51 | 1:10:52
it is our time to shine
on the dance floor. | 1:10:52 | 1:10:54
APPLAUSE | 1:10:54 | 1:10:55
Dancing the salsa, Joe McFadden
and his partner, Katya Jones. | 1:10:55 | 1:10:57
APPLAUSE | 1:10:57 | 1:11:05
MUSIC: Ride On Time. | 1:11:05 | 1:11:15
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 1:12:51 | 1:13:01
Well done! My goodness! They are on
their feet for you in Blackpool! | 1:13:05 | 1:13:15
Strictly, raving! | 1:13:15 | 1:13:16
Strictly, raving! | 1:13:16 | 1:13:17
You just brought the house down! | 1:13:17 | 1:13:19
Those lifts, so many wow moments. | 1:13:19 | 1:13:24
You are amazing.
Darcey. The energy, that was | 1:13:24 | 1:13:28
exciting. The attitude you brought
to this, totally different. And | 1:13:28 | 1:13:33
very, incredibly difficult
choreography with your arms and | 1:13:33 | 1:13:37
legs. There was some sticky moments.
I just felt something was incredibly | 1:13:37 | 1:13:44
difficult and you are getting a
little bit sticky and it was not as | 1:13:44 | 1:13:47
smooth as it could have been. The
lifts, they were absolutely | 1:13:47 | 1:13:52
phenomenal as well!
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Really | 1:13:52 | 1:13:57
amazing. Like anything, it is the
amount of energy you throw into | 1:13:57 | 1:14:01
something and the balance, with
those lifts at the end, where you | 1:14:01 | 1:14:04
can control it and you change of
focus and think, this is a very | 1:14:04 | 1:14:08
difficult lift, I have the focus,
and that is where the balance was | 1:14:08 | 1:14:11
thrown. But your energy and your
excitement and your attitude didn't | 1:14:11 | 1:14:16
fail. Amazing!
I wanted to join in. I think Darcey | 1:14:16 | 1:14:24
said it all, I agree. You came out
and you had the most amazing energy. | 1:14:24 | 1:14:30
You can use lateral hip swing and
you can use bigger eight movement. | 1:14:30 | 1:14:34
You want more for the lateral swing
which is also acceptable. Good for | 1:14:34 | 1:14:40
pressure and your lifts were well
done, just a nudge on the end, but | 1:14:40 | 1:14:44
you saved like it even asked going
to... You saved it, so I was | 1:14:44 | 1:14:48
impressed with that.
Yes! How his hips, Bruno? I don't | 1:14:48 | 1:14:56
think you need a hip replacement, it
is all working quite well down | 1:14:56 | 1:14:59
there! Yu Wang still areas! Shake
me, shake me! You were mental. You | 1:14:59 | 1:15:07
through everything but the kitchen
sink at it. Great party mood, that | 1:15:07 | 1:15:13
is what salsa is all about and saved
by the bell at the end. I was going, | 1:15:13 | 1:15:18
my God! But you saved it! Lacking in
the necessary protection in the | 1:15:18 | 1:15:33
hips. You lost islands at the end
which was unfortunate. But I have to | 1:15:33 | 1:15:38
say what a routine that was
something. | 1:15:38 | 1:15:43
What a routine. A fantastic end to a
fantastic night in the Tower | 1:15:43 | 1:15:47
Ballroom. | 1:15:47 | 1:15:49
Joe and Katya! | 1:15:49 | 1:15:52
APPLAUSE | 1:15:52 | 1:15:56
CHEERING | 1:15:56 | 1:16:00
Well done. You have never closed the
show before and you did it at that | 1:16:00 | 1:16:09
-- at Blackpool.
It was a privilege. | 1:16:09 | 1:16:13
It really is.
An extraordinary beauty. | 1:16:13 | 1:16:19
You said you would do everything.
And you hate heights. Not so great | 1:16:19 | 1:16:27
with heights but it is Blackpool. | 1:16:27 | 1:16:28
Scores are in. | 1:16:28 | 1:16:29
The judges have their scores. | 1:16:29 | 1:16:30
