A huge thank you to our Strictly

stars, the Northern Soulers,

break dancers and our professionals

who took part in that

brilliant routine.

So good. And Strictly came to town

and our couples went to town with

some spectacular routines, including

Alexandra's.

Eight couples have made it

Blackpool but only seven couples

will go safely through to next week.

One couple's time in

the competition must end tonight.

Your votes have been combined

with the judges' scores,

and the two couples with the lowest

overall points will face each other

in the dance off.

The decision of who stays

and who goes is down

to these four illuminations.

Week nine can

only mean one thing... Blackpool!

So

excited to be in Blackpool. It feels

like a school trip and it's lovely.

The atmosphere is amazing, everyone

is so excited to be here, you can

feel that adrenaline.

The ballroom

is huge and it is so beautiful.

Just

being in that room gives you energy

and a balance, we do not believe

where we are.

I am from Lancashire,

we are in Lancashire, it is a nice

feeling and I need to remember where

I am from and smash their dance.

It

is still a competition but we are

all supporting each other and the

experience of being here is out of

this world.

Everyone wants to do

their best, everything is bigger and

better and it will be more fun.

It

is a wonderful place and we are

creating a wonderful memory being

here.

We love Blackpool! We are

alive in five minutes. Have a good

one. I cannot wait to get out there

and do a paso doble.

The show is

The sparks were flying.

You

have a flow which was magic.

Is

accomplished.

I have to commend you

on your twist and turn.

A powerful

performance. That was incredible. I

will genuinely never forget that.

What a routine. There were some

sticky moments.

Not as smooth as it

could have been. You through

everything but the kitchen sink into

that.

The lift he was doing were

astonishing.

Thank you for bringing

girl power to the tower.

I thought

it was a little bit spiky Anstead.

I

loved your shadow role.

I knew I was

going to have a great time.

You are

getting better, well done.

There was

no turnout in your swivel.

I never

thought I would be here, it is an

unbelievable feeling.

At times it

looked like a paso doble that had

strike in the wash.

It was too soft.

I thought you covered the floor very

well.

I loved every second of the

paso doble.

A truly memorable night.

The determination was all there but

that what is still sticking out.

But

I loved the routine. We made it to

Blackpool and we had fun.

It was

magic, you did something that could

have come out of a plastic movie.

It

was light and bright.

Fantastic.

You

have made me quite emotional, your

energy was wonderful.

You are

improving and that is fantastic.

I

really loved it. It is my birthday

weekend and I got a standing ovation

from Shirley, I could not be

happier.

It was a mind blowing

night, I will have to have a lie

down now.

your knees, lower your heels, bring

that beauty that you have got. You

are amazing dancer.

It was in my head, I did

not have them. I did it without

them. I am so happy.

If you were watching last week you

will know that Davood was not used

to packing.

I just forgot them.

Nadiya, is he getting there?

He's

getting their week by week. He is

amazing and a great friend. I will

do my best to get him there.

is the worst dancer but we try every

a normal walk on. Sometimes you

don't have time to expand. You do it

here. Thank you so much. Surely, I

will start with you. On Saturday

night, you mentioned twist turns.

What are they and why are they so

important?

You watching take a side

step, a strong twist, walks forward.

The twist turn is a step which is

danced at every level from the

juveniles under 12 up to the World

Championship level. What I love

about Davood is he brings all the

small details to all the dancers.

Shirley. Darcey, let's talk about

Alexandra and Gorka. This is delete

the floor is so springy. And you

said her top line is though still.

It was. She has such a beautiful

amount of spring but she is keeping

it cool on top. They have had the

last eight weeks in the studio at

Elstree and it is such a change to

come here and then to realise they

have to bring it down a bit because

of the amazing spring in this dance

floor.

Craig, I want to talk to you about

another Paso. This time, Susan's.

You mentioned the use of skirt.

She

is using it like she is in the can

can. Instead of going down the

length of the skirt or the way,

bringing it up and acting as the

Cape. And using the full width of

the skirt. If I had a skirt on, that

is what I would do. The man is like

the matador and the lady is the

Cape.

Bruno, thank you. I would like

to talk about Gemma and Aljaz. What

made it so magical for you?

Very

well-deserved. This girl has worked

so hard. The lifts were not strong

but look at this, it is absolutely

flawless. Weightless. Look how

wonderfully she controls the

landing. No bumps and straight into

it. That is a girl who has worked

very, very hard. It shows and she

deserved a ten.

Thank you. I need to

ask you about next week. All couples

are taking part in a first they are

taking part in a Paso doble-athon.

Can you explain?

They will be on the

floor at the same time and it will

be like a competition for all of

them. They will have to watch the

directions, not bumping and

knocking, they have to bring their

paso doble quality. It will be very

exciting. The huge challenge for

them.

Want to show to the group how

hard our Strictly crew work. On

Saturday night, Michael was doing

this between every routine. Look at

this. He was on the floor. Let's

hear it for Michael and the whole

then you will get the topline. It is
