Hello and welcome to It Takes Two. What a weekend! Saturday saw him

:00:00.:00:12.

crowned Lion King, but sadly his reign on Strictly has come to an

:00:13.:00:15.

end. Mark and Iveta say their goodbyes.

:00:16.:00:20.

We don't want them to go! Love them. Their super salsa created a Disco

:00:21.:00:27.

Inferno. Here to talk 10s are Abbey and Aljaz. And it's just as well he

:00:28.:00:31.

finally found his 10 paddle, as this is the last time he'll join us this

:00:32.:00:36.

series - Craig will be here. This is Strictly It Takes Two.

:00:37.:01:22.

Live from London, this is Strictly It Takes Two. Please welcome Zoe

:01:23.:01:28.

Ball. Hello and welcome to It Takes Two.

:01:29.:01:35.

This weekend saw tears, tantrums and 10s as the competition hotted up

:01:36.:01:42.

even further. In case you were foolish enough to miss any of it,

:01:43.:01:46.

here are the Strictly headlines. It was brilliant!

:01:47.:01:52.

Good evening and here is the news. Strictly's musical extravaganza

:01:53.:01:56.

reached Saturday Night Fever pitch as Abbey's salsa blew away all of

:01:57.:02:00.

the judges. Yes, Craig's mothballed 10 paddle finally made an

:02:01.:02:01.

appearance. Well, Craig might have given Abbey a

:02:02.:02:28.

10, but he didn't score quite so highly with his own spin across the

:02:29.:02:30.

floor. There is one judge missing. Where's

:02:31.:02:35.

Craig? I'm going to mark you for your

:02:36.:02:58.

entrance. I'll give you two. That's more than I deserve! And there was

:02:59.:03:02.

drama on the dance floor after Natalie's American smooth wasn't

:03:03.:03:04.

quite smooth enough for Len. Too much swooshing, apparently.

:03:05.:03:15.

For me, the dance got lost in the performance. Not enough foxtrot. And

:03:16.:03:24.

finally, the make-up room was alive with the Sound of Music on Saturday.

:03:25.:03:33.

Or something like it. # Brown paper packages tied up with

:03:34.:03:39.

string. These are a few of my favourite things.

:03:40.:03:44.

# When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad. I

:03:45.:03:52.

simply remember my favourite things...

:03:53.:03:56.

# And those were the Strictly Headlines.

:03:57.:03:59.

And now even more backstage gossip. Here's all the action from behind

:04:00.:04:04.

the scenes. I believe something is going on

:04:05.:04:17.

today. # Oh, what a beautiful morning. It

:04:18.:04:29.

is musical week! I am a secret jazz hander. I love musicals. There is a

:04:30.:04:36.

danger of feeling like there is a lot of pressure on you when you get

:04:37.:04:40.

to this stage of the competition. But this week, everyone just feels

:04:41.:04:49.

very happy. Patrick is flying! I want that car for Christmas. It is

:04:50.:04:55.

really energetic, very busy and quick, and heaps of fun. It is

:04:56.:05:01.

lovely having the dancers, because it fills the stage out and takes the

:05:02.:05:03.

attention off me. It is going to be a very big night.

:05:04.:05:10.

Hair and make up! My little boy at home is very

:05:11.:05:23.

excited about daddy flying on a magic carpet. I've lost my make-up

:05:24.:05:35.

artist. How about this. This is what my mum used to do. I think that is

:05:36.:05:42.

the right colour! UR in the wrong, Brendan Cole.

:05:43.:05:49.

I am currently having a tale sewn onto my costume.

:05:50.:05:59.

I have a feeling that tonight might be the night when we see for 10s.

:06:00.:06:14.

Welcome to the Jungle. These are our little sexy animals. We are doing

:06:15.:06:22.

the lion king. It is going to be the best party, with the biggest amount

:06:23.:06:28.

of cheese. # I'm singing in the rain. What a

:06:29.:06:31.

glorious feeling. I'm hoping we see 10s tonight.

:06:32.:06:38.

Fingers crossed, darling. Showtime! I think before you go on stage,

:06:39.:07:01.

you're trying to hold every interview so that you can let it out

:07:02.:07:08.

on stage. It is musicals week on Strictly Come Dancing.

:07:09.:07:14.

What a night! He'll always be the Lion in our pride. It's time to say

:07:15.:07:22.

Hakuna Matata to Mark and Iveta. APPLAUSE

:07:23.:07:31.

Commiserations on last night's exit. It has been such a joy watching the

:07:32.:07:35.

two of you dance on the show. How are you feeling today? I feel good.

:07:36.:07:46.

I was having such a fantastic time. I wanted to go out on a high, and we

:07:47.:07:52.

did that. We had a great week, and I feel good about the whole thing. You

:07:53.:07:56.

have been such an incredible fighter. You had to go through the

:07:57.:08:03.

dance-off so many times and still survived. Did you have a feeling

:08:04.:08:08.

that this might be the week? You feel that every week, and it was

:08:09.:08:14.

getting tough, so to get to the last seven was amazing. We went for it,

:08:15.:08:19.

but you have to have that in your mind that it might happen. And did

:08:20.:08:26.

we see a little appearance of the dinosaur? It was such a beautiful

:08:27.:08:35.

moment. And very emotional. That will become legend across the

:08:36.:08:39.

country. And quite an emotional departure, Iveta. Yes. Whether you

:08:40.:08:48.

make the final or go out earlier, you never want this to end. It is

:08:49.:08:57.

emotional. Let's not start yet! Don't look him in the eye. Craig's

:08:58.:09:03.

perhaps been your fiercest critic, but even he gave you positive

:09:04.:09:06.

comments on Saturday. We saw you tear up - how much did it mean to

:09:07.:09:11.

you? It was such a shock, because I was expecting him to be really harsh

:09:12.:09:16.

again, and he was so lovely. I was fine going up the stairs, and when I

:09:17.:09:23.

got to the top, I couldn't talk. I think it means something that

:09:24.:09:26.

because Craig is quite harsh, when he does say something nice, you know

:09:27.:09:32.

he genuinely means it. He really does mean it, which is why it gives

:09:33.:09:42.

you such pleasure. Now, you have done ten weeks of dancing on very

:09:43.:09:47.

bad knees. What happens now you're out of the competition? We are going

:09:48.:09:52.

to do the tour, and then I will go and have keyhole surgery. If I can

:09:53.:09:57.

survive this, I can survive the tour.

:09:58.:10:05.

Let's have a look at your strictly story.

:10:06.:10:11.

You are going to be sharing the dance with Iveta.

:10:12.:10:17.

I want to show that may be big people can move a bit. You danced it

:10:18.:10:27.

actually rather well. This week we are dancing a salsa, and I am

:10:28.:10:32.

nervous, because I have to find my inner sex God. Show me your sexy

:10:33.:10:40.

face. I am 47, overweight with a dodgy knee.

:10:41.:10:46.

It is being able to do the dance with those judges staring at you,

:10:47.:10:49.

under the lights, the audience there. I have never experienced

:10:50.:10:55.

nerves like it. Iveta is a brilliant teacher. If he makes a mistake, I

:10:56.:11:03.

will break him. Sometimes my stomach hurts from laughing. We really have

:11:04.:11:05.

a good time. You capture the essence of every

:11:06.:11:20.

dance. You get it. And that's great. He is brilliant. No, you are.

:11:21.:11:26.

I can throw some shapes. I can bust some moves. I was made for

:11:27.:11:35.

cha-cha-cha. It was unique, different, memorable and very, very

:11:36.:11:41.

funny. I just want to enjoy what I do. My goal is to show Mark's

:11:42.:11:48.

ability to dance. Not his ability to act, because we know he can do that.

:11:49.:11:53.

You danced it simply, effectively and with feeling and emotion, and

:11:54.:11:59.

that was beautiful. If I am brutally honest, I didn't think I would make

:12:00.:12:04.

it this far. I do think I have improved, and I'm enjoying it. Did

:12:05.:12:11.

you see my astronaut? Did you see him fly? He was amazing.

:12:12.:12:23.

# It's too late to apologise. Iveta is an amazing friend. She has

:12:24.:12:28.

got such a wicked sense of humour. I can't imagine doing strictly with

:12:29.:12:31.

anyone else. It is just so enjoyable. I don't

:12:32.:12:40.

want the series to ever end. You tried Goldfinger, and ended up a

:12:41.:12:46.

fish finger. I knew that I would end up in the dance-off, and I felt like

:12:47.:12:53.

I let Iveta down. She deserves the best from me, and that is what she

:12:54.:12:56.

is going to get. We will have some fun this week. I know it is

:12:57.:13:03.

entertaining, I do know that. I am really looking for a lot more

:13:04.:13:08.

technique. The couple I would like to save is Mark and Iveta. Mark and

:13:09.:13:12.

Iveta. I thought that was our last chance,

:13:13.:13:17.

so I was thrilled. You start this journey with someone, and you do get

:13:18.:13:24.

really close. Just let me get the steps. You have been trained, but

:13:25.:13:32.

never tamed. There are always little cheeky moments that make it. It

:13:33.:13:39.

makes me feel like a warrior. In my head, I thought that was it for me.

:13:40.:13:45.

Thankfully, the judges saved me. From where I started to get to hear,

:13:46.:13:50.

it is just such a lovely feeling. I am going to have fun this week, I

:13:51.:13:54.

think. That is what it's all about for me. I think that really is

:13:55.:14:01.

technically your best to date. You are a great big bundle of joy to

:14:02.:14:10.

watch. Well done. I would like to save Ashley and bowler.

:14:11.:14:17.

It is an honour to work with you. It is an honour to teach you. We will

:14:18.:14:27.

have a sitcom together and continue laughing! Honestly, thank you. It

:14:28.:14:31.

was the best first season. It was perfect. I could not wish for

:14:32.:14:34.

anything else. I love you. Oh, my goodness. We can't wait for

:14:35.:14:48.

the sitcom! What do you think made the two of you hit it off so well? I

:14:49.:14:55.

think a lot of it is to do with the fact that I couldn't dance. I

:14:56.:15:02.

couldn't dance constantly. We would dance for ten minutes and then have

:15:03.:15:06.

to sit for ten minutes on my knees recovered. And so we would mess

:15:07.:15:12.

about. And the thing about Iveta, she just has such a great sense of

:15:13.:15:17.

humour. We have loved having you on the show. Who would you like to see

:15:18.:15:25.

go on and win? I have to say, they are all lovely people. I wouldn't

:15:26.:15:30.

like to say. They are all so good, I couldn't call it. I don't want to

:15:31.:15:39.

say. Iveta, will you do us a favour. One more time, say jellyfish.

:15:40.:15:46.

Jellyfish. And can I say, quickly, thank you for you and It Takes Two,

:15:47.:15:52.

because it has been brilliant. Don't start. Everybody please give it up

:15:53.:15:58.

for Mark and Iveta! We will miss them.

:15:59.:16:07.

I don't think any couple has ever had that reaction on the show

:16:08.:16:14.

before! Mark will always have a place in our hearts on It Takes Two.

:16:15.:16:18.

In a couple of years, you might be lucky enough to star in one of these

:16:19.:16:21.

little gems, it's time for Guess who.

:16:22.:16:50.

Who was that? Saturday saw disco diva at leaderboard with a 70s

:16:51.:17:00.

themed salsa that scored the perfect 40. Here is a reminder.

:17:01.:17:06.

That was great! You were dancing between two professional girls. I

:17:07.:17:18.

could not tell the difference. Absolutely amazing.

:17:19.:17:26.

Mesmerising performance. You are losing confidence in the Latin. A

:17:27.:17:33.

5-star routine. -- losing confidence.

:17:34.:17:37.

I cannot believe we got four tends! I am gobsmacked! Well done, you!

:17:38.:17:49.

Lucky the Predictive Pup was right again! Please welcome Abbey and

:17:50.:18:00.

Aljaz. Can I just say, that was awesome on Saturday night will stop

:18:01.:18:03.

I think there is only one couple ever before that have got 44 salsa.

:18:04.:18:14.

-- 40 four a salsa. How much did you enjoy it? I loved it, everyone was

:18:15.:18:21.

amazing. I thought we have to go out and pretend we are in that disco.

:18:22.:18:27.

And look at what happened, what did Peter think, your mum and dad? Pete

:18:28.:18:33.

finished his football and legged it down to the studio and watched us,

:18:34.:18:38.

my mum and everyone was going crazy. I put the loudspeaker in the

:18:39.:18:44.

room. I am not surprised at all. It looked joyous to perform. Is that

:18:45.:18:48.

part of the success, because it was so much fun to do? We actually

:18:49.:18:54.

struggled in rehearsals, doing it. The Latin isn't my favourite. But I

:18:55.:18:59.

think you have two forget about that and not at a mental block on

:19:00.:19:03.

yourself, how can you not have funded Saturday night Fever? Those

:19:04.:19:09.

outfits! And him dancing in a white suit, my lord! You must have known

:19:10.:19:13.

you had done well, when did you think a clean sweep was coming? It

:19:14.:19:20.

was such a full on salsa, the whole way through I kept thinking, what's

:19:21.:19:25.

next? Every time I saw her was like... I was like, that's good!

:19:26.:19:33.

It's so fast, and you were there with the other pro dancers, you

:19:34.:19:38.

looked incredible. You were saying the always preferred the ballroom.

:19:39.:19:41.

How did you tackle the salsa, knowing that Abbey has always

:19:42.:19:46.

preferred the ballroom? I told her it was the ballroom! She is a

:19:47.:19:53.

natural in ballroom. But I think the salsa, as it was a disco salsa,

:19:54.:19:58.

every single disco move, she did it better than me! You do all the moves

:19:59.:20:06.

we all love! Said this week you go to the view news walks, back to

:20:07.:20:10.

ballroom again. How do you follow 40? I am not even thinking, I want

:20:11.:20:17.

to go out and do my best again, I'm desperate to go back to the ballroom

:20:18.:20:21.

dancers, and I love watching people do the Viennese walks. I just don't

:20:22.:20:27.

think you can focus on the scores, it will just put you off, it's only

:20:28.:20:33.

down from here! You got 40! I am more excited than she is. If you go

:20:34.:20:37.

back ten weeks, a lifetime ago, the first week, you did a walks that was

:20:38.:20:45.

a standout. Will she take from the foundations of that? Yes! Of course,

:20:46.:20:55.

it is very similar, if not the same, the steps are similar as well.

:20:56.:21:01.

Just a bit faster. I think she will tackle the view news waltz very

:21:02.:21:14.

well. -- Viennese. You've also got the swing-a-thon on Saturday. How

:21:15.:21:21.

will you train for this? Elbows! I can't wait to do it. A great change,

:21:22.:21:32.

actually. And Aljaz, how are you going to keep her attention this

:21:33.:21:38.

week? Keeper focused? I need to think about something new every week

:21:39.:21:41.

must I don't know. We haven't started this week yet. Sophie was

:21:42.:21:48.

sick today, so I couldn't go back into rehearsals. She had it on week

:21:49.:21:55.

one, I was up all might with her, cleaning sick up from everywhere! --

:21:56.:22:03.

up all night. They spring back, don't they, babies? We are going to

:22:04.:22:11.

train extra hard tomorrow. You were awesome on Saturday night, good luck

:22:12.:22:19.

with your Viennese waltz. Time to reveal who's features have been

:22:20.:22:24.

obscured by the dodgy camera, did you get it?

:22:25.:22:34.

It's me! I danced with the lovely Ola Jordan in 2009. It was quite

:22:35.:22:46.

tricky, wasn't it? I have grown a couple of genes since then. As he is

:22:47.:22:52.

about to tread the boards in pantomime, this is his last

:22:53.:22:56.

appearance in the studio! Give it up for Craig Revel Horwood!

:22:57.:23:02.

Look at you, so rightly! Like a swan, gliding in. Highest scores on

:23:03.:23:16.

Saturday night, it was awesome. So exciting. It was ready to see the

:23:17.:23:21.

standard of the dancing, I was really excited myself. I don't say

:23:22.:23:30.

that often. Let's start with Abbey and Aljaz, you did say it was

:23:31.:23:34.

amazing. Is there anything more... Look at that! What I loved about

:23:35.:23:41.

Abbey is the fact that she took complete ownership of the dance

:23:42.:23:46.

floor. She played the leading lady and just when you see her dancing

:23:47.:23:49.

with the professionals, she was really standing out as something

:23:50.:23:56.

special. It wasn't until the very, very end, the last move, that I

:23:57.:24:01.

could actually think, could I give it a ten? And I thought, absolutely.

:24:02.:24:08.

My finger was harbouring. Still! To the last minute! I just absolutely

:24:09.:24:17.

loved it. And so glad to see your paddle. Ashley found himself in the

:24:18.:24:23.

dance off for the first time, were you surprised? I was, but someone

:24:24.:24:30.

has to be in the dance off, and it was out of him or Susanna. I was

:24:31.:24:35.

thinking it would be one of those two. I was still shocked, but he did

:24:36.:24:43.

very well, I gave him a technical note about expression through the

:24:44.:24:48.

arms, when he was out of any hold or lift and he went ahead and did

:24:49.:24:52.

that. I thought he was great. He has learnt and developed so much over

:24:53.:24:59.

the series, it's a delight to watch. Patrick and Anya and their

:25:00.:25:04.

Charleston. He did say he lost a bit of stability in the lobster claw

:25:05.:25:11.

left! I totally love that. He was very fast. It was hard to keep up

:25:12.:25:17.

the him. But he managed it, he was a bit flat-footed, but that lift is

:25:18.:25:23.

where you take the girl up and you twist, on the preparation, he just

:25:24.:25:30.

lost a little bit of his centre and his core, and that happened to

:25:31.:25:38.

shuffle his beat a bit. I felt it didn't matter direct play in front

:25:39.:25:43.

of him. I think the centrifugal force swept her too far across. But

:25:44.:25:55.

small, tiny details. Fantastic. I haven't stopped grinning since

:25:56.:26:00.

Saturday. Susanna and Kevin and the quick step, such a strong weekend,

:26:01.:26:04.

deceive and second, incredible, will she bounce back? I think she can

:26:05.:26:11.

bounce back, she has the mental capacity to get on with it, forget

:26:12.:26:15.

that ever happened and then come in and give us something extraordinary

:26:16.:26:19.

and stunning. That's what I love about her, she brings her

:26:20.:26:24.

personality, her smile, curvaceous must, to the floor. That's what all

:26:25.:26:32.

the people at home are loving. The Viennese waltz, the highest score,

:26:33.:26:40.

what made this so magical? Number one, the music, number two, the

:26:41.:26:45.

look. Just the fact that they are beautifully in sync with one

:26:46.:26:49.

another. The only thing I could say about it is the chin was almost

:26:50.:26:54.

gravitating towards the shoulder too much. You have to keep your head and

:26:55.:26:57.

left but I think it was going back a little bit and she was losing her

:26:58.:27:01.

neck ever so slightly. These are minor, ridiculous details. But is

:27:02.:27:07.

that time in the competition. We have to nit-pick otherwise you can't

:27:08.:27:13.

differentiate between one couple or another and the people at home

:27:14.:27:16.

really want to know why I'm giving an eight or nine. Natalie and RTM

:27:17.:27:24.

and their American Smooth, you said you would like to have seen more in

:27:25.:27:30.

hold? How much of an American Smooth should be in hold? 70% in, 30 visit

:27:31.:27:38.

out and read lifts. I just think we missed that in hold moment. Lennon

:27:39.:27:44.

was right when he pointed that out, there wasn't very much in hold at

:27:45.:27:49.

all. I thought it was in immaculately danced dance, I loved

:27:50.:27:57.

her in it, but sadly, I couldn't award the ten for it because of

:27:58.:28:05.

that. You did say that her bras... For the brass were second to none.

:28:06.:28:17.

Port de bras goes up, a cross, it's how you use your arms. She does do

:28:18.:28:23.

that beautifully. She does drop her head each time she goes into a lift.

:28:24.:28:35.

All extremely strong dancers left. I would say yes, it's going to be

:28:36.:28:40.

really difficult for the judges now, because it's becoming even

:28:41.:28:46.
