Episode 11 Strictly - It Takes Two

Live from London, this is Strictly It Takes Two. Please welcome your

host, Zoe Ball. CHEERING APPLAUSE

Hello and welcome to it takes two, we are still recovering from the

drama, we had tears from Ore, two nines from Craig and the biggest

plot twist came when... Tameka and Gorka words eliminated but like

every good soap storyline there is a comeback, they are here tonight,

show them love. Joining them are whole accused of duties including

Anastacia and Brendan, Daisy and Aljaz are here and the Queen of

choreography Karen Hardy. They were in hot pursuit of the Garter Ball

trophy but after a high-speed chase their tangle sadly stopped their

Strictly journey in its tracks. Before we say goodbye here is Tameka

and Gorka's last dance. Going out as she came in, Tameka and

Gorka! Thank you. I tell you what, not a dry eye in the house or indeed

in my house last night during your last dance. So emotional. Very

emotional, I didn't know it would be this emotional. I knew it would be

but not this emotional. And I don't think anyone expected you to go so

soon. It feels so soon, I have got a lot more to give. I keep it inside.

He is even talking you through the come down, it is great. On Saturday

night, Len said you give it plenty of intent and focus, Bruno said you

gave a brilliant performance, look at you in those outfits as well! I

hope you got to keep them! How surprised where you to find

ourselves in the bottom two. I was surprised to be honest, not being

big headed but I really thought I'd put in the right moves, did not put

a wrong. Just really being in that character, I had some pain in my

back but at the end of the day I used it to really... Drive-through.

Drive-through! I was driving through it. How impressed were you with her

performance Gorka? Every week she was impressing me more and more and

getting better and better. The first time we did the routine it was

amazing, I was more impressed about all the energy she takes from her,

she gives everything she has like it was the last dance and sadly it was.

She gives everything, I was very impressed with her attitude. I did

not think you could give any more and then you did give it more, so

much love for you online, in the street and the studios, Lawrence for

example says what, Tameka? She was a firecracker. Another scene that

Saturday night have now lost their sparkle now that Tameka has gone and

another saying the world was infinitely brighter with Tameka on

it. I love the process and love to learn different dances, now I can

fling Dhoni paso doble -- fling down a paso doble. I am going to try and

put something in. What sort of dances were you looking forward to?

I was looking forward to the cha-cha or the cha-cha-cha? I was looking

forward to that one. And also the Rumba, that was going to be another

challenge for me. The ballroom was always going to be most difficult

for me. What did you find most difficult about it? The framing,

getting the frame rate and the back and a posture. It's quite a lot.

It's a lot to take on board, it's hard for people at home to sometimes

comprehend, it is quite uncomfortable. Yes, all the Latin

moving, shaking about, but that is something else. But I enjoyed the

process. Has it been everything, apart from the ending, that you

hoped it would be? It was, I have always watched the programme and

it's a great group of people. And this year is very strong. It's a

good year for me to do it and it's nice to work with Gorka. Gorgeous

boy. As you said, don't change, he is so adorable. We have loved having

you on the show and I don't want to say goodbye but here is your story,

Tameka. It's Gorka. I have always wanted to be on Strictly Come

Dancing, it's blowing my mind. Welcome to your first day of

rehearsals. Give me a few minutes to get it, do me a favour. Do me a

favour. Isil love Gorka. Gorka, the corker. -- Isil love

you have owned this stage, it goes without saying. Full of impact and

fun. My face my face. I have always admired the charleston. But to do it

like this? Ready? It's a different level. I love the fact it was

completely character driven, I thought that was brilliant. The

Queen of slapstick! Gorka and I are dancing the tango. It's so early in

the competition and I'm not ready to go home. I thought the performance

was brilliant, loved it. The thing which distracted for me was your

posture, a bit over the top, but well done. Len, who are you going to

save? Laura and Giovanni. I have enjoyed my time immensely, it's

lovely to be part of it and I am grateful, thank you. CHEERING

I am not surprised you're getting emotional. My mum said I looked bad

when I cry so I shouldn't cry, sorry mum! What are you going to mess

about training with this gorgeous Gorka the corker? I will miss you

because you are a lovely guy, I have got to know you and I love how you

work and as a person. But it's everything, learning the steps, the

dance. I know I am not what you would call a dancer, a dancer type.

But I put the work in, I thought I gave it my best shot and did not

want it to be so short for you to be honest. It's alive! And you will

miss Tameka as well? Yes, not just the dancing, I will continue

dancing, it's what I'm going to miss about horror as a person and of the

things she showed me in this month we have been together. More than by

the dancing, the dancing was the way we get to know each other but I

learned from her a lot of things. You are beautiful. It's like speed

dating but with more dancing! We are never going to part! We are really

going to miss you, do me a favour! Do me a favour! Tameka and Gorka!

APPLAUSE I think we can all agree that movie

week was an action packed blockbuster, here is a

behind-the-scenes look at how all the movie magic became a reality, I

love you both! I love you too! Good morning! Its movie week! Lights,

camera, action! Movie week is fantastic because all your dreams

come true. Hard to not get into character with this hair, I have

always wanted hair like this, I want to keep it for a few days. I have

just been giggling constantly. I think it such joyful music, I have

been laughing in your face all the time. So tiny yet mighty. Right at

the end of the routine we have a shower of glitter coming down, I

managed to eat a lot of glitter. I'll be fine.

Everything you're seeing is bigger this week. Hair is bigger, make up

is bigger, the routine is bigger. A little bit of this going on because

this is Strictly so it has to have some bowling. I am turning myself

into Robin Hood, I look the part now I had to dance the part. There will

be a few arrests. I secretly fight crime at night but don't tell

anybody. Stop! Somebody stop me! He is under arrest. Sorry, what is

your? Keep walking. Five minutes! We are going to cut to the magic of

Prize for anyone who spotted the floor manager seven times, it's like

our own version of where's Wally. If I could I would spend a thousand

years watching our next couple dance but that's a long time so let's put

that down to 30 seconds of highlights instead. It's Anastacia

and Brendan. It had a beautiful quality from beginning to end. It

was understated and it had class. Very, very nice my darling. Very,

very sweet. Very correct. You have come back with an enormous sense of

confidence and I think that is great.

Tangling, I love that Craig was saying you had come back with an

enormous sense of confidence after a tough week, how did it feel to be

back out on the dance floor? It felt amazing, nice to have a new moment

and a new fresh memory, not the memories that were last week. That

is what life is about, moving on. Let's not look back at it remind you

terrible moments. 27 points, Brendan, look at you. I have to make

sure he stays dapper. Thank you. 27 points, are you happy? It was great,

it was nice to go out and deliver a performance she could be proud of

and we did that, it felt lovely, I love the emotional ones where you

can get into the story. He is a softy. He is such a softy. He hates

people knowing it. He is a gentle giant. Where are you worried the

week before, in the Results Show that you might have been bottom two.

Might? I totally thought we were going to be, I said what do I have

to do, we work the bottom feeders, let's just do it. It just felt like

it was who we were. There was a moment when we were waiting for the

results and we were thinking it is ask, get on with it. What a great

feeling to be saved. And it gives you confidence and you could feel

that. It was great people voted for us, I thought oh my god there are

people out there that like us. Your Viennese waltz went worldwide,

Daniela from Germany said on Twitter that it was made for you, it touched

me and you looked beautiful like a real princess. We touched Germany.

Did you feel regal as you danced around? I did. I felt like the head

of the princesses. The Glam squad and it really was one of those

moments where the Glam squad, the costume, everything, I did not wake

up looking like a princess, I can tell you that. Yes you did. You

don't know what I woke up looking like! This is not live, we can cut

that, right? No one will ever know! You were rocking the vampire look.

Twilight is about vampires, it's not the normal look for the dance but I

like characters and really getting involved. And earlier on, look at

this. George and Bryony from glamour squad

did this for you. This is the transformation, how long did it

take? About an hour and a half, I loved it, I had so much attention.

Normally the boys in the make-up chair are like, get out. I had a

great day. A lot of women were touching him, was happy. How quickly

did you get it off? I pretended I was in a movie and I was like... .

We could have done with that, a Scooby Doo reveal. Moving on, this

week it is the rubber. -- it is the rumba. The dance of love. Have you

had any training, what do you know about this dance, Anastacia? I know

it is a very passionate dance. I feel like because our first dance

was the cha-cha I feel like it's a slow but passionate cha-cha. Will go

with that! I'm not a dancer, apparently. Looks like you have a

very natural action for it. We've only done an hour today but it was

fluid and lovely and I'm expecting nice things. He's so good. Never

tell him that! I don't, in fact, I didn't say that. Good luck with the

rumba, the dance of love. APPLAUSE While the weather is getting colder,

the competition is hotting up. Which of our couples are red-hot and who

are a little tepid only one way to find out, col grew -- choreography

Karen. CHEERING

This sizzling Karen Hardy. Twist the light bulb move. Look at you! We did

see you in the audience on Saturday night. Everyone in my house was

like, Karen! Did you enjoy it? I loved being back there, waves from

the camera crew. And the smell, don't laugh, of lights, camera,

action. What is that film, Norma Desmond? When she goes back? Not

that I'm saying you're Norma! Being there, watching the energy and the

passion, the celebrities on the dancers, the judges, magical, very

lucky to be there during Movie Week. Laura and Giovanni, shocking bottom

two, week three, you don't see it coming and there it was. They came

out and oh boy, did she looked amazing. She gave it everything she

had. Craig thought perhaps she had thrown a bit too much in that, what

did you think? You know what? We're going to go technical from the

beginning. This is a competition. We don't want this dance to be

disciplined and clean, it's meant to be earthy and edgy. She mastered

those hips, look at the energy between a two of them. This to me is

what salsa should be about. I always teach perfect balance gives you zero

energy. These two were edgy. Just a bit spicy, and that to me is what

this competition is all about, and especially assaults. But one magical

thing in the dance-off, there was a moment when Giovanni could see Laura

was struggling with what the decision had been an Iran across,

gave her that big hug and said, let's go for it, come on. -- he ran

across. That was magical for me and beautiful, shouldn't have been in

the bottom two, for the record. Danny Mac and Oti, universal praise

from the judges. Bruno loved the flamenco elements, did he pretty

much? It was brilliant. Again, the competition hot from the beginning.

The choreography I loved, the changes of direction, the actions,

and what they were talking about, the flamenco. I've chosen a piece

here. Beautiful use of the arms, the elbow has pimpled behind the ears.

The attention to detail with these two, so early on, I just loved it.

So much so, let's have a go at that action. CHEERING

Everybody at home, we are going to have a bit of the old swatting

mosquitoes. We elevate the elbows. Elevate. Elbows behind the ears,

shoulders nice and relaxed. The camera crew are all having a go

here! You use the back of the arm and create a lovely curve and

recover. And again. APPLAUSE Producer Chris looked very good

doing that. Sorry, just very quickly, looking at technique here.

We have to watch this young man's Postiga. Really? I'm getting a bit

of this and it's annoying me. Will and Karen's Bollywood themed salsa.

Brilliant from Will Len concerned there wasn't enough south, Will try

to put his point across, what did you make of it? I looked back over

it, of course. The salsa steps were there, but where there was such a

gamble with the Bollywood theme, the concentration he would have to have

had would have an did distract away from what we talk about, we want hip

action, and the energy. That's what Len was more going towards. The

actual content was there, but the techniques were missing. Fabulous

number, however, great gamble by the two of them. You win or lose with a

gamble. Naga and Pasha's tango. Her highest score yet. Craig felt she

might need a stronger and cleaner line. Yes, when she does it well,

and I've chosen this piece, she's driving across the dance floor,

lovely top line, look at that extension. Then we always get this

little shuffles and wiggles. She's got to nail the choreography. We are

about to see from here on in all the bells and whistles have gone, Movie

Week is out of the way, we're going to look at the nitty-gritty now.

That body contact, topline, she has to now the choreography. That is my

only concern. But what an entrance. Did you see that? I know, brilliant.

Great choreography. I have about 25 seconds, Greg and Natalie with their

American Smooth, which was wonderful. Darcey was a bit

concerned about the lift, that it was too powerful? I loved it, the

American Smooth is all about being dramatic and over the top and we

exaggerate everything. For me, without music, fabulous left, loved

it. We will talk more about everyone tomorrow. Karen Hardy! You look

stunning tonight, by the way. Our final couple gave us just a spoonful

of sugar on Saturday night, but we will take a whole bowlful if that

dance is anything to go for, Daisy and Aljaz.

Lovely hold, great Postiga and gorgeous movement down the floor. --

gorgeous posture. So light on your feet, like you were floating on air.

Anita 's footwork I've seen. You've danced so well together. Daisy and

Aljaz are here. You look amazing, that dress. Aljaz, you look lovely

too, darling. No problems, what an amazing performance, opening the

show, the outfits, the set and it was brilliant and greatest cause.

How much did you enjoy, Daisy? I loved being Mary Poppins, one of my

all-time favourite films growing up. To embody her was quite a lot of

pressure, but we just had such a laugh, didn't we? I was thinking

that, when you are given such an iconic character, does that make it

harder or does it make it easier? I think it was hard. It was big shoes

to fill, but I tried to dress like her all week. We noticed! And

telling him. Very successful, actually! I was like your nanny,

making sure you drank plenty of water. And cleaned your teeth.

Aljaz, no rules broken, well done. APPLAUSE

I was so proud of myself. I know it's not easy. Ouch after were you

with the comments from the judges? I loved it, every comment. It was such

hard choreography to get through and the quick step is always difficult.

Daisy got through every single step. Darcey said the footwork was

immaculate. Yes, and neat. I loved it. You are not the only one, Alex

from Essex said Daisy Lowe, looks like Julie Andrews in her outfit.

Legit. A slight gear change this week, because... First of all, let's

go back, I have some stats for you, Aljaz. We have combined your first

week's scores for each of your previous dance partners and we are

going to do some comparison. Daisy took at deep breath! 90 points in

the first three weeks with Clancy. With Alison, 76 in the first three

weeks. Last week with Helen George, 90 weeks in the first three weeks.

And finally, are we going to go higher or lower ladies and

gentlemen? With Daisy you have scored 93 point! Yes! So pleased.

Daisy, that's great, she looks pleasantly surprised. I was quite

scared. Well... This week a gear change completely, the rumba, the

dance of love, have you learned anything yet? I only had an hour

today, we did the basics today. We started learning the steps a little

bit. We didn't get far. No! Physically we had about an hour, but

mentally we are still going through steps. You never actually stop! You

have had mixed scores with your rumbas over your time, Aljaz. Sorry,

I feel like I'm giving you a hard time. With Abbey you got 24 but you

are in the dance. How do you avoid that this weekend? I always blamed

that on Halloween. I don't add much to do with the rumba, it was

Halloween. Today is the Halloween fault. I don't like being scared...

When there are so many scary things around me... Genuine jumpy. Your

little sister Betty came into the show on Friday. She loved it. What

is she thinking about your journey? She's so excited, she's loved the

show, ever since you won Abbey Clancy. She used to make me sit down

and watch those dancers, so she was so happy to meet on Friday. She's

over the moon. She loves it all. She's just got a cheese too young to

come and watch it. I know. I think around children in need... You are

getting around swimmingly. Is it fun, fun, fun in the changing room

Mark Tullo it's fun and then I get frustrated and then it's fun again

we do get on really well. What does swimmingly mean? We're going

swimmingly. Another ridiculous bit of language. We love you both, good
