Episode 26 Strictly - It Takes Two

Live from London, this is Strictly a text to!

As ever there were thrilling treats from the Strictly

But it wasn't all fun and games, things came to a chilling climax

last night when Anastacia and Brendan were given the chop

Luckily for us, though, it's not as gory as it sounds -

they're joining us in the Green Room tonight!

Along with a rather bewitching duo...

A handsome prince, doesn't he look cute in his outfit?

Plus, here to tell us which dances were naughty and nice

in Choreography Corner - it's Chloe and Neil!

But first - she was 'Outta Love' with the judges last night

and the time has finally come to 'set her free'...

Before we say goodbye, here's Anastacia and

Welcome. Though inside circumstances. You have had quite an

experience at Strictly Come Dancing, what an exciting one, but no more

Dancastasia. I am doing well. Overall what I got was what I got, I

wanted to raise awareness in best cancer and I wanted to find my own

piece of fame that I lost. So to me it was a total win-win. Whenever you

goes when you go any car control that and you have just got to do the

best you can do. Which you absolutely did, and can I just said,

the outfits, I make up, wings, hoverboard. Missed. We really did

try. We try to bring in a cave. Would you enjoy that? I did, you

have to do the best you can do anything we gave it that we could

give it. Absolutely. Bruno was saying you're giving him Tina

Turner. Craig said something about the kicks and flicks, I have done

that, it is impossible, you do it for two and a half minute it is

exhausting. It truly is. One of the most difficult things about the

jive, you can only practice it's a much fuller falling on the floor and

get that level of technique and to get everything fine on the night is

actually a very hard thing to do. We did quite well. Looking back, I can

see what they are saying. It is fair enough what they are saying but

overall, a nice way to end, I think. Identical I rehearsed that great. --

I don't think I. You have to be real with it, I'm not delusional. I keep

it very realistic. I like that. Bellew honest-acia. They just keep

going! James from Hampshire says science to see them leave but so

proud of what you have come through and achieved on Strictly.

Dancastasia! So good, and you went for it in the dance-off as welcome

you came out and gave it more fire and energy. Nothing like a

dance-off. Just before we do that, I said leave nothing in the dressing

women that is exactly what happened. You have got to put everything up

there or it could be your last dance. It was for us, but it is a

very exciting feeling when you are out there doing it, probably less so

for these guys. A very exciting feeling I had watching you being

King vampire in the Sunday night pro dance. That was amazing

storytelling. Very exciting, choreographed by Beth Cohen. We had

great feedback on social media. Thank you for your lovely feedback.

Jason talking about: buffy the show tomorrow. I felt he had more to

give, was there a Willy looking forward to doing? The salsa that I

got injured on was who conduct that was in my wheelhouse, so

unfortunately, Latin Anastacia has left the building. Unfortunately she

was not able to flower. But I felt like the quickstep became my salsa

and that was just a lovely way to sort of remember the dances as a

whole. I think I am a ballroom dancer now. LAUGHTER

I thought I was Latin. I love the welts. And look what happened in

quickstep. Enjoy your Strictly Story. My partner is a maze balls.

Hi honey I'm home. First dance is the cha-cha-cha. Alex. OK, go. Based

on this, I am expecting a fantastic dance next week. This week I'm doing

the salsa. I am channelling might in a Latina Anastacia. Considering you

have got an injury I felt you did a good job, well done. I can reveal

the couple with a few fewest votes and therefore out of the competition

is Melvin and Janette. I feel awful. I just wish I could have danced. I

don't know, I dead even have words, I really don't. The Viennese welts

is loving and loving. I have a desire to make this dance really

ten. You have come back with an enormous sense of confidence and

that is brilliant. CHEERING We are doing the rumba. I didn't

know there was a dance like that. Very sensual. I thought you Ross

Taylor Labit fluidity and it just became somewhat stilted. You lost a

little bit of fluidity. Sometimes life is in front of you have just

got to find a way around it. We have Koke coming in. My goal is to make

Brendan proud. Identified to upset friend and that it was your best

dance. I was so chuffed. I loved it. You are doing the jive. When I go

out there I don't want to be winging it. Totally batty! Just a little bit

flat-footed. It was laboured, it was led I'm afraid. One of you will come

back next week and one of you will leave tonight. I always wanted to be

more of a dancer and this is the perfect way to do it, I think. You

are amazing, thank you so much for everything. APPLAUSE

It is very emotional watching it. It is wild because it is kind of like

watching your memorial. On Halloween! How sweet and gentle. It

is what it is, this show is amazing because it continues to keep on just

letting people know to move on. And embrace all of what life is, and

that's what I really like about what the show represents. I love that.

Brendan, what has oppressed you most about Anastacia's experience? Sheer

determination and grit. Always willing to get stuck in and do a

great day's training and prepare for the Saturday. Not an easy thing

these guys put themselves through and it has been a really positive

attitude throughout the show and that is something not everyone

makes. We have a little treat for you as it is Halloween. Oh my God!

Where did you find it? In a posh shop. Thank you, this is what I

called Candy corn the other day and people like what, what is that?

Would you like to see added your friends to lift the lid of the

trophy? Girl, I can't even go there, there are way too many right now.

There are quite a few in the mix. I can go there! I was more than

impressed with Danny energy plasma quickstep if you mix, so I am

thinking maybe Danny in or two. I would vote for the underdog. You do

that but you are already out! Remind me more. Look, it's over! You are

afraid, very afraid, it is time for Choreography Corner.

Give it up for Chloe and Neil! It is lovely to see you back. Can I just

see we are loving your outfits on Saturday. And your bow tie is

made... Of clay. As you do. Of course it is, how was your first

Strictly Halloween? I absolutely it, it has been my favourite week so

far. It has been insane, hair, make-up, everybody. Well done to

everybody. We will start with Laura and Giovanni who came back after

their injury and did so brilliantly with the tango. Len said it was

their best dance yet. Tell me what you thought. I thought it was great

to see Laura and Giovanni back on the dance floor firstly and I

thought she came back with a passionate tango, a good one to come

back on. For me, her fame is just perfect. It comes really natural to

her, which makes it so much easier for her to achieve. So I think

that's brilliant. I really enjoyed that. I pointed that out before, I

love that. You saw that, well done to her. Blake and Natalie and

they're rumba. Craig said he couldn't even screw it because if

they did not have enough room context, and now you are both very

upset by those comments, wanted you think of them? I can understand why

and I can see that. What I noticed, that we will see in a minute, if you

look here now, a rogue spin, she runs away, they go back into a back

Basic. What has happened here is because he is bending his legs,

adding that is what Craig is meaning, he is missing that element

committee could not quite see it. I think that balance of performance

versus technique is quite difficult. For me, personally, I love their

performance. I thought there were great. There were elements of

contemporary in there which is probably why the balance wasn't

right. Such a powerful song, beautiful song. Onwards and upwards,

Greg. Louise and Kevin's charleston, I was loving the heath ledger joker

Kevin, so good. Craig was describing their side-by-side kick section and

how perfectly in time they were. They did an incredible job. I picked

up the side-by-side part in particular because they were just in

so much time together. And that is really hard to achieve. They must

have spent hours on that. They did it brilliantly. And her character

was crazy. One of my favourite numbers. I love this. And the

outfit, well done. Moving onto Judge Rinder and Oksana. I knew this was

going to be good but I could not have contemplated quite how good he

was. Again, I know they are so happy to be in the 30s, what impressed you

about this? Festival I am a big fan of Judge Rinder. Jump, Nice spin

commonly walks. Look at the power. Paso doble at its best. This

movement is so difficult, even top professional struggle at this

movement so I want to give you a demonstration. Why I love it so

much. Some professional struggle that this was the you are wearing

the perfect trousers. First ball as he is going down he has to make sure

the back foot is pointed, he then has to stretch through the five. And

I am definitely not going to attempt that.

Corea and Joanne. They looked divine together in their charleston. I

thought it was great. Craig said not enough swivel action. We've spoken

about civil action before, haven't we? It so much about it, the judges,

that's what they pick on straightaway. Bouncing on flat feet,

not much swivel action, so that's where he missed out little. But he's

such a great character. Every week he comes with the correct character

for that dance. Energy and musicality, perfect. Perfect... I

love it. That sound can only mean one thing, time up is for you two

pretties. Not in an evil way, just like a horror film... You will be

back later in the show. I think we can all agree

that Strictly was pretty spectacular this weekend,

but it takes more than Hocus Pocus Here's a behind the scenes look

at the magic as it happened. Oksana's birthday and her favourite

holiday, Halloween. I want to make it good for her. It's a really good

routine and we have a couple of little bits that are a bit testing,

but if we can get them right, hopefully it will add to it and make

it really special. I've never dressed up for Halloween before, so

this year I'm really excited just to get into the character and I'm

loving it! I need to work on my evil laugh, I

think! Know, Beard in mouth. OK... We're good. Everyone looks out of

this world. It's so sparkly as well as quite scary. Even vampires are

sparkling. LAUGHTER Its trick or treat time, would you

like peach, rotten egg? Or stinky sock? Trick or treat, have a treat.

What is it? Chocolate. What is it? What is it? Are they nasty flavours?

No, I promise. Another trick, yes! LAUGHTER

That's awful! Treat. I love apples. Yes!

We're doing a Group Dance this week with the professionals, which is

really exciting. I get to dance with Anastacia, which has been a new

experience, absolutely brilliant. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do

yet but I'll have it sorted out by the time I get that. We live in five

minutes. Let's go! Now as much as I love a theme,

I have to admit I'm glad to see the back of Halloween,

it just gives me the creeps... But I think we're over

the worst of it now... Our next couple put

a spell on our judges and leapfrogged to the top

of the leaderboard - bippity boppity boo -

it's Claudia and AJ! Tonight, my darling, you were as

lyrical and beautiful and as rounded as you should be. The lifts where

fluid and dramatic, I thought the whole thing was dynamic. It was

spellbinding, really. Your footwork was brilliant, it was a really top

notch performance. Claudia and AJ are here. Can I just say, well done!

You totally aced the American smooth on Saturday night. A lot of people

saying it was the dance of the night. You must have felt

comfortable going into this far? Yes, for once, being positive, I did

feel really confident going into it. All the rehearsals went right,

leading up to it, it was great. Just going out there and getting those

amazing comments, I was really surprised. I can't stop smiling at

you two smiling! The judges were loving it. Craig said your lifts

were fluid and dramatic. He said the whole thing was dynamic. What a

Halloween treat. The weirdest thing for Halloween with him not saying

one negative thing. We were like, oh my God, what's happening? It was

amazing, I was waiting for the negatives but it was all positive

and I thought, it's all right then. You are always waiting for the butt.

AJ, Len was so pleased you have the confidence to give Claudia really

complicated routine. I was so proud of Claudia, into the three step and

Len picked it up. It worked, I was so happy. I think everyone at home

was becoming... We all think we are experts watching it. When you see

those terms... It is so exciting. And incredibly complicated lifts.

Are they a doddle for you? You make them look so easy, Claudia. It is a

little bit easier because I am a gymnast so I can fling myself

around. She's starting to trust me! Starting to trust him a little bit.

Some of the lifts, it was hard to keep the flow going getting in and

out of it. I think that was the main thing the judges said previously.

Just work on them quite a lot and we pulled it off, which was good. You

could really see how you'd worked on. Sometimes it's like... Into the

lift... We did it again and again to make sure it was flowing and I

wasn't going to drop her, because I haven't dropped to yet. That's good.

How is the trust? It's getting there, slowly! LAUGHTER

Claudia, you're talking to our Claudia and talking about your gym

training starting again this week. Very different disciplines. How are

you going to keep her not distracted? Claudia was like, I want

to implement some of the fluid arms into the gym. She's starting to join

it all together to make it even more amazing. I love it. I'm excited to

see your gymnastics after this as well. This week it is a paso doble

for the two of you. We have seen some amazing paso doble dancers.

Have you got any tips? I look at the dancers I'm going to be doing and

watch the other performances on what the judges say to them and try

not... If they say anything negative to them I'm already picking up and

making sure I don't do that. I know it's quite fierce. We've only done

an hour of it. It was a good hour, a very good hour. I'm getting there.

We've not really seen a fierce Claudia yet. Are you excited about

this character? I am. My gymnastics, when I go onto the floor, people say

I look quite scary. Charming! She goes into the zone. It's a bit

worrying, but it will work for this dance. I am very serious with my

faces, I will put that into the routine and people will see a

different side to me. Hopefully it's good! I'm so excited, can't wait to

see it. Top of the leader board, well done. Two weeks of all the 9s,

what you have to do to get a ten? I don't know, keep it going, make the

lifts harder. Harder?! More technical and more wow. Whatever the

wow is, I'm not sure yet, but when we get it, we will see that Ken. In

week seven are you feeling more competitive than ever? I am getting

more competitive every week. I just like to go out there and do the best

performance I can. I'm one of those people that likes to beat myself up

I want to get a higher score every time. Hopefully we do get a ten. It

is heaven for me. Can I just say something queue came in. I know you

love a selfie but is some competition, four year old Elliott,

doing his best AJ. Gorgeous! That is a ten. It is. Good luck with your

But what will our terrible twosome think?

Let's get back to allow couples, even with the very impressive score

of 33 after a brilliant paso doble Daisy and Aljaz found themselves

heartbreakingly back in the bottom two. What did you think of their

paso doble? I was so upset for her, to be back there in the bottom two

again. They going to forget that, moving forward. Now, I loved her

performance. I felt she brought a different element to the paso doble.

Everyone normally does a hard-hitting... She has gone for

more sensual look, which is great. At the same time, when you're

watching, she still got more passion and fire. The way she was heating

Aljaz's chest. When they did the dance-off again... Yes. If I could

give her any advice, don't worry about it, keep doing exactly what

you're doing and I think it's going to be great. Perfect. Ed and Katya,

for the first week were not in the bottom two! Well done to the two of

them and to top that, Bruno called their cha-cha-cha a triumph. Neil is

biased, temporary muddying his wife, what did you think, Chloe? I loved

it. I think Ed is such an outstanding performer, week after

week... Look at those facial expressions! He just brings

everything. I am going to demonstrate one thing for you,

because what I was disappointed with just a little... Here we go, here we

go. He spent legs. He was going this way, all on Bent legs. What we like

to see is a snappy cha-cha-cha. Snappy! Do you see what I mean?

That's how it should be! APPLAUSE So difficult. It takes years to

learn. Exactly, it takes years to learn. Claudia and AJ, how brilliant

were they? There are American smooth was so good. Each of the judges

impressed with her footwork. Yes, said the finish, he'll turns, the

amount of dedication. If we look here, the way she brushes the feet.

You can clearly see she has been working hard. I think it's really

paying off. Footwork is really hard. A lot of people think, we don't need

to worry, let's just entertain everyone and go with the

performance. She has put the time and effort in and I think that's

great. I think she's that kind of person, isn't she? Knowing AJ for a

long time. Your dance partner. Yes. He is a drill Sergeant and he will

have been making sure every single time that she got it right. She did

it on the night which was incredible. So proud. They look a

perfect partnership because she is a driven gymnast. They are brilliant.

Danny and Oti and their foxtrot divided the judges. Len wasn't a fan

of the appendage, the string between them, I thought it was a great

concept. What was your take? It was different, a unique thing that has

never been done on the show before. I think it was a tick for a smart

idea. It kind of, for me, it was a shame he went wrong. Danny is such a

great performer and he carried on. He didn't show that he was going

wrong or panic or anything. I think a good job for him and I think he

will come back this week with another fiery performance. What did

you think? I actually loved it. I thought it was so clever. He's shown

us he can dance well, we've seen that with performances before, but

also to add that element in there and show he could actually use it...

Great. No Halloween next Saturday. It is just back to straightforward

costumes and dancing. What we need to see from our couples? Technique.

Technique... Let's add a bit more technique, and entertainment.
