Gethin Jones has been drawn | 0:03:06 | 0:03:08
in by the bright lights of Elstree

since Blackpool any way, rehearsing
are Davood and Nadiya. They are | 0:03:16 | 0:03:22
doing an Argentine tango to the
Phantom of the Opera. Let's take a | 0:03:22 | 0:03:26
look behind the mask.

Time now to welcome my first
guests of the evening. | 0:03:51 | 0:03:54
Last Saturday, they scaled
a New York skyscraper | 0:03:54 | 0:03:56
to top the leader board
for the very first time. | 0:03:56 | 0:03:58
Some people will go to any lengths. | 0:03:58 | 0:04:00
It's Joe & Katya! | 0:04:00 | 0:04:09
Everything was absolutely spot on. I
love that hopping round step you | 0:04:11 | 0:04:16
did. ? When you took your hand and
butt them behind your back it was | 0:04:16 | 0:04:21
superb. It was clean, it was light.
In fact, stupendous darling. | 0:04:21 | 0:04:33
APPLAUSE | 0:04:33 | 0:04:41
Wow. Look, there is no stopping them
people. Keep that cane. It suits | 0:04:42 | 0:04:50
you. Katya, outfit so much amazing.
We like to make an effort. What a | 0:04:50 | 0:04:58
quickstep, construction work has
never looked so good, I have to say. | 0:04:58 | 0:05:03
How was your foray into manual
labour. My family are builders so it | 0:05:03 | 0:05:08
must be in the DNA, that is why it
went so well. Congratulationses in | 0:05:08 | 0:05:12
the tens club again, for the first
time this series top of the | 0:05:12 | 0:05:17
leaderboard for Joe. How was the
view from up there? It's a lovely | 0:05:17 | 0:05:23
position. Yes, it was a great
position to be in but I said to | 0:05:23 | 0:05:31
Katya, I know I can only enjoy it
for one day because on Monday | 0:05:31 | 0:05:36
morning you are back to grindstone.
It don't mean a thing. Thing. If it | 0:05:36 | 0:05:42
ain't got that swing. You are only
as good as your last dance. They | 0:05:42 | 0:05:48
expect so much. You are looking more
handsome today, is it the tan? It is | 0:05:48 | 0:05:56
tan Friday. I like it. Your harshest
critics loved it. Craig said | 0:05:56 | 0:06:07
stupendous, Shirley said
unbelievable and Bruno wants you to | 0:06:07 | 0:06:10
build his extension, I imagine these
from kind of remark yours dreaming | 0:06:10 | 0:06:14
of. I am happen you you clarified.
When I heard Craig says stupendous, | 0:06:14 | 0:06:21
I thought it was something to do
with stupid. I went really quiet. It | 0:06:21 | 0:06:26
was a good thing. Great! I can see
where that mistake would come. | 0:06:26 | 0:06:33
Shirley praised the mix of steps you
put in. She said how clever you | 0:06:33 | 0:06:37
were, how impressed are you with Joe
for picking this up now? I must say, | 0:06:37 | 0:06:43
you know, we both know how hard the
first few weeks were, and mainly, on | 0:06:43 | 0:06:48
picking up the step, you know, we
had to drill over and over and over | 0:06:48 | 0:06:52
again and you were get stressed,
but, he is a improved so much on | 0:06:52 | 0:06:57
that subject we are able now to
learn so much quirk and we can get | 0:06:57 | 0:07:02
in more detail and technique on
Tuesday, Wednesday, his brain has | 0:07:02 | 0:07:06
gone so quick. We watched some of
the old dances back the other day | 0:07:06 | 0:07:10
and I thought what are my feet
doing? They are like flippers | 0:07:10 | 0:07:15
literally. Hopefully they have got
slightly better but it doesn't get | 0:07:15 | 0:07:20
easier, the more they know the more
they expect. You did say one of your | 0:07:20 | 0:07:25
fittest parts is the brain. I am
going to keep dancing for the brain. | 0:07:25 | 0:07:29
It is really God for your head. I...
Also we all know that practise makes | 0:07:29 | 0:07:36
gross. That is correct. You had an
interesting technique for teaching | 0:07:36 | 0:07:43
Joe the steps last week. I like fish
and chip, kick it out I like fish | 0:07:43 | 0:07:48
and chips. I like fish and chips
kick. See, fish and chips much | 0:07:48 | 0:07:55
quicker. OK. You see. I preferred
chicken and chips. If you said | 0:07:55 | 0:08:01
chicken and chips the beat would be
completely off. Any more interesting | 0:08:01 | 0:08:07
surprise methods? Not really, just,
you say it now and I vaguely know | 0:08:07 | 0:08:13
what you mean, a lot of the time If
I say left we know it is left. It | 0:08:13 | 0:08:20
has only taken ten weeks. There are
bow a foe goes this week. Before you | 0:08:20 | 0:08:27
get to that I must read out a lovely
message, Fay, wrote online musicals, | 0:08:27 | 0:08:34
I would like to see Joe in, list,
Guys and Dolls cabaret, The | 0:08:34 | 0:08:45
producer, Chicago, pyjama game, I
could go on. That is a big list. She | 0:08:45 | 0:08:50
should be my agent. She should be.
Care to put Fay out of her misery. I | 0:08:50 | 0:08:59
would love do cabaret, and we are
this week. How handy, here is your | 0:08:59 | 0:09:03
music.
# Money make the worlds go round | 0:09:03 | 0:09:07
# The world go round
# Money makes the world go round. # | 0:09:07 | 0:09:12
It is such a complex brilliant
character, but he is manipulative | 0:09:12 | 0:09:17
and dark. Thank you for that.
Learning something day. Any of those | 0:09:17 | 0:09:22
would be amazing to do. You have
stepped into a bit of musical | 0:09:22 | 0:09:27
theatre. I have done bits of sing
manager the past. Have you managed | 0:09:27 | 0:09:32
to teach Katya. Little bits. The
narrative... There is so much going | 0:09:32 | 0:09:38
on in that song, it is about
surviving and back then in Berlin | 0:09:38 | 0:09:42
that the time, if you didn't have
money it wasn't a good story. I kept | 0:09:42 | 0:09:46
asking, what do you think that mean,
what face? We worked on it. I taught | 0:09:46 | 0:09:53
her how to overact. Here you are in
training. How, extra dancer, is it | 0:09:53 | 0:09:59
going to be a show stopper? I hope
it won't stop our show, think it is. | 0:09:59 | 0:10:07
It, the character is suits him
Points Westly, that is what musicals | 0:10:07 | 0:10:10
is about. We have to sell that
character, -- perfectly. People | 0:10:10 | 0:10:16
might say it is strange doing samba
to that song. It is no. Once we done | 0:10:16 | 0:10:21
it... The bow a foe goes are doing
well. The The samba is is a strange | 0:10:21 | 0:10:29
one. You have to go forward, back,
side to side. I love it. If it goes | 0:10:29 | 0:10:35
well it is great. A great number as
well. Fab. More than happy. You look | 0:10:35 | 0:10:41
gorgeous with that tan. Tomorrow,
Joe and Katya. | 0:10:41 | 0:10:45
APPLAUSE | 0:10:45 | 0:10:53
Time now for an exclusive preview
of this weekend's group number - | 0:10:53 | 0:10:56
which will see the Strictly Pros
turning into a right load of Divas. | 0:10:56 | 0:10:59
Take a look at this. | 0:10:59 | 0:11:03
I had a dream I was sing #234g a
group dance this week. That sound | 0:11:05 | 0:11:09
more like a nightmare to me. Cheeky!
We all know you have a voice like an | 0:11:09 | 0:11:16
angel. It's musicals week.
So this week we are doing a number | 0:11:16 | 0:11:26
from Dreamgirls, so we are going
back to the mid 70s to disco so it | 0:11:26 | 0:11:30
will have a bit of a Studio 54 feel
to it as well. | 0:11:30 | 0:11:34
# Do the hustle
# Do the hustle # | 0:11:34 | 0:11:37
There is everything. Fast disco,
lots of spin, lift, there is a big | 0:11:37 | 0:11:42
celebration of disco from that era. | 0:11:42 | 0:11:47
There is is a mixture of Hustle,
some lovely lovely ballroom steps, | 0:11:48 | 0:11:55
Gorka and Janette are doing a her
alpiece, there will be something for | 0:11:55 | 0:12:00
everyone. Singing, dancing, accusing
at the same time. I'm in! In! I | 0:12:00 | 0:12:07
would say the most challenging part
is it is full on, it is intense, | 0:12:07 | 0:12:12
high energy, we do not stop from
start to finish. | 0:12:12 | 0:12:19
My favourite part when we all come
together and we are doing a move | 0:12:19 | 0:12:23
like this. Everyone is there, the
energy is so high, I love it. | 0:12:23 | 0:12:31
I hope you have enjoyed this
exclusive group at our Dreamgirls | 0:12:31 | 0:12:35
dance, if you want to see more make
sure you tune in at the weekend. | 0:12:35 | 0:12:41
I like it a lot. | 0:12:41 | 0:12:42
I like it a lot. | 0:12:42 | 0:12:43
Now, it wouldn't be Friday night
here at It Takes two without a panel | 0:12:43 | 0:12:46
of Strictly super fans to talk
Sequins, Fake Tan and all that jazz. | 0:12:46 | 0:12:50
Ladies and gentlemen. | 0:12:50 | 0:12:51
Please give tonight's Friday Panel
a huge standing ovation - | 0:12:51 | 0:12:53
it's Mel Giedroyc, Dick & Dom,
& Pixie Lott! | 0:12:53 | 0:13:00
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:13:01 | 0:13:07
Look at you all. Welcome, welcome,
nerve stop dancing, never stop | 0:13:15 | 0:13:22
dancing. MLA, and my conductor ex
extraordinaire, you have a | 0:13:22 | 0:13:29
self-confessed Strictly fanatic,
what have you thought of the series | 0:13:29 | 0:13:32
and how excited are you for musicals
week? Do you remember when you were | 0:13:32 | 0:13:36
a kid and it was Christmas Eve, and
you, and you almost felt like you | 0:13:36 | 0:13:41
wanted to throw up with excitement?
It is musicals week, it is a | 0:13:41 | 0:13:48
special, I love a Strictly special.
I feel full of adrenaline. We are | 0:13:48 | 0:13:55
all feeling it now. I feel
emotional. I could cry at any | 0:13:55 | 0:13:59
moment, or laugh like a lunatic.
Dick and Dom welcome boys. Wanted to | 0:13:59 | 0:14:04

love a Strictly special. I feel full
of adrenaline. We are all feeling it | 0:14:07 | 0:14:10
now. I feel emotional. I could cry
at any moment, or laugh like a | 0:14:10 | 0:14:13
lunatic. Dick and Dom welcome boys.
I want wanted to throw up with | 0:14:13 | 0:14:15

Dick and Dom welcome boys. I want
wanted to throw up with excitement? | 0:14:23 | 0:14:25
It is musicals week, it is a
special, I love a Strictly special. | 0:14:25 | 0:14:28
I feel full of adrenaline. We are
all feeling it now. I feel | 0:14:28 | 0:14:31
emotional. I could cry at any
moment, or laugh like a lunatic. | 0:14:31 | 0:14:33
Dick and Dom welcome boys. I want to
show "Bogies" when I see you. Have | 0:14:33 | 0:14:36
you been tempted to don the dancing
shoes. There is a strange story, | 0:14:36 | 0:14:39
back in 2004 when Strictly started,
series one, we were asked to go on | 0:14:39 | 0:14:41
series one, but the way it was sold
this is come dancing with celebrity, | 0:14:41 | 0:14:44
we thought that will never work. So
we said no. Does that mean you are | 0:14:44 | 0:14:47
off the Christmas card list. . Think
we are blacklisted. This is as close | 0:14:47 | 0:14:50
as we are going to get to being on
the main show. While you are here, | 0:14:50 | 0:14:53
you your alter egos Diddy Dick and
Diddy Dom met a man called Craig for | 0:14:53 | 0:14:56
your new series Diddy TVH this is
crick as you have never seen him | 0:14:56 | 0:14:59
before. We are joined from Strictly
Come Dancing, he is one of the | 0:14:59 | 0:15:01
judges, Craig Revel Horwood.
Hello darlings. He called us | 0:15:01 | 0:15:04
darlings. Some people think you are
horrible but we like you. Look at me | 0:15:04 | 0:15:11
darlings, I am fabulous. He He said
the catch phrase. It is the best | 0:15:11 | 0:15:16
thing I have seen. Pixie Lott is
here. Pixie, you got to this point | 0:15:16 | 0:15:24
in the competition, three yearses a,
how through the celebrities be | 0:15:24 | 0:15:28
feeling now? | 0:15:28 | 0:15:33
This is the last point I got too so
I am not an expert on how to get any | 0:15:33 | 0:15:37
further... She was robbed! I think
it's just every week is | 0:15:37 | 0:15:42
nerve-racking and tough, you just
want it to be the best you have ever | 0:15:42 | 0:15:47
performed and you have worked so
hard but each week is as hard as the | 0:15:47 | 0:15:50
next. But the closer you get the
more you think you are nearly there. | 0:15:50 | 0:15:55
Lets work in the training room and
see how they are doing, Gemma and | 0:15:55 | 0:15:59
Aljaz are doing a quick step two
hello Dolly, is it looking swell? It | 0:15:59 | 0:16:07
certainly is, she really is, she is
very nippy on her feet now isn't | 0:16:07 | 0:16:11
she? She likes, I am only a viewer,
what do I know but she is very good | 0:16:11 | 0:16:19
on the faster ones isn't she?
Wouldn't you say? Do we agree? Yes. | 0:16:19 | 0:16:27
I think she will nail this. I think
she will win. I think she is the | 0:16:27 | 0:16:34
epitome of the programme, doing
better each week as the judges keep | 0:16:34 | 0:16:39
telling her, listening to everything
they say, I think she will do it. | 0:16:39 | 0:16:44
Led stock about Joe and Katya who
will do a samba, look at this, he | 0:16:44 | 0:16:49
has been called a dark horse and a
unicorn, what would you call him? | 0:16:49 | 0:16:55
Dancing to cabaret? He is so good,
each week getting better and better. | 0:16:55 | 0:17:02
I would say that because he is stood
over there! He might be holding a | 0:17:02 | 0:17:10
stick. Onto Alexandra and Gorka,
look at this, dancing and Mary | 0:17:10 | 0:17:15
Poppins leaned charleston, how is
the energy? It is all about the | 0:17:15 | 0:17:25
energy, Craig always talks about the
swivel. That is all it is, the | 0:17:25 | 0:17:31
swivel and the energy and getting
the character and it was one of my | 0:17:31 | 0:17:36
favourite dances, one of the most
fun so enjoying it and getting into | 0:17:36 | 0:17:39
it. Is Gorka doing it as Dick Van
Dijk? He has got the accent and | 0:17:39 | 0:17:48
everything! It is uncanny. If we are
lucky this lot will be back later in | 0:17:48 | 0:17:57
the programme but for now the Friday
panel! CHEERING | 0:17:57 | 0:17:59
APPLAUSE | 0:17:59 | 0:18:01
It's time now for another trip down
the yellow brick road to Elstree - | 0:18:01 | 0:18:04
where earlier today,
my understudy Gethin | 0:18:04 | 0:18:06
was playing to sold-out crowds
and critical acclaim. | 0:18:06 | 0:18:07
I am here with two of your favourite
diva dancers, Debbie McGee and | 0:18:12 | 0:18:16
Gemma, looking nice in the pyjamas
and dressing down. Matching the | 0:18:16 | 0:18:22
whole ensemble. Tomorrow night
American Smooth, how are you feeling | 0:18:22 | 0:18:27
about it? Meow. Very good answer. It
feels good. I have not watched it | 0:18:27 | 0:18:37
myself. But it feels good. It is a
beautiful bands, it is not flashy. I | 0:18:37 | 0:18:45
have to be slow and controlled so I
must not get the giggles but so far | 0:18:45 | 0:18:49
I am loving doing it. Both of you,
how are your partners feeling, they | 0:18:49 | 0:18:54
are not here, how have they been, it
feels like you have been looking | 0:18:54 | 0:19:00
after them? Aljaz is choreographing
so hard, he's so passionate about it | 0:19:00 | 0:19:04
he will do it all day Sunday and
Monday in rehearsal if something is | 0:19:04 | 0:19:08
not breaking changes it again and I
love that but sometimes I say to | 0:19:08 | 0:19:12
him, relax but it is just because he
cares so much. This week as always | 0:19:12 | 0:19:18
we have laughed so much, a lovely
dance with extra dancers. I always | 0:19:18 | 0:19:24
wonder how that feels, the quick
step of course? It is good, a bit | 0:19:24 | 0:19:29
less pressure because you feel like
it is a group dance, you are a bit | 0:19:29 | 0:19:34
less exposed. Semifinal around the
corner, is that pregnant | 0:19:34 | 0:19:38
awe-inspiring? Do not think about
it, just another week. Just week 11. | 0:19:38 | 0:19:44
Genuinely. You don't want to put
pressure on yourself. The pressure | 0:19:44 | 0:19:50
is building, but best of luck to
both of you. Thank you for talking | 0:19:50 | 0:19:53
to us. | 0:19:53 | 0:19:53 | |
Right now, it's time for a short
interval from Musical shenanigans. | 0:19:55 | 0:19:58
Yes, there's one part of this show
that we like to keep pure | 0:19:58 | 0:20:01
and that is the Strictly Pro
Challenge. | 0:20:01 | 0:20:03
Just in case you've been
living under a rock, | 0:20:03 | 0:20:05
here's a reminder of the toughest
dancing contest on TV. | 0:20:05 | 0:20:09
Not the time, Reddo. | 0:20:09 | 0:20:12
Honestly. | 0:20:12 | 0:20:15
This year is Strictly broad
challenges heading back in time to | 0:20:19 | 0:20:22
the roaring 20s where are pros will
attempt to set a Guinness world | 0:20:22 | 0:20:26
record title for the most charleston
swivel steps in 30 seconds. In order | 0:20:26 | 0:20:31
for the step to qualify the pros
have two complete one forward and | 0:20:31 | 0:20:36
one backward step. If there is no
swivel in the feet and ankles are | 0:20:36 | 0:20:40
the step will be disqualified. This
year 's challenge will be pros have | 0:20:40 | 0:20:45
ever faced. But only one person can
claim the title. It's the Strictly | 0:20:45 | 0:20:50
pro challenge 2017. | 0:20:50 | 0:20:53
Time to welcome our
next contender.... | 0:20:53 | 0:20:54
Born into a family of apple-picking
champions, she grew up on an apple | 0:20:54 | 0:20:57
farm and spent the best days
of her childhood picking - | 0:20:57 | 0:21:00
you guessed it - apples... | 0:21:00 | 0:21:01
Let's hope she doesn't
'crumble' under the pressure | 0:21:01 | 0:21:03
of her first Pro Challenge -
it's Dianne Buswell! | 0:21:03 | 0:21:08
CHEERING
APPLAUSE | 0:21:08 | 0:21:17
Hello Lady! Hello! We have missed
you. I miss him dearly. Good evening | 0:21:19 | 0:21:32
Richard if you are watching, I think
he will be. It is your first series | 0:21:32 | 0:21:36
of Strictly but most importantly
your first pro challenge, everyone | 0:21:36 | 0:21:40
will be talking about this back in
Australia? My mum and dad have lost | 0:21:40 | 0:21:46
sleep over it, I am calling them
every day. Tonight I will be able to | 0:21:46 | 0:21:50
tell them. Some pros dream their
whole lives of taking part in this | 0:21:50 | 0:21:56
challenge, did you train hard? I
did, I will not lie. I was doing my | 0:21:56 | 0:22:04
shopping, swivelling, showering and
swivelling, so I did kind of take it | 0:22:04 | 0:22:08
a bit seriously. You all do. Let's
look at the leaderboard and remind | 0:22:08 | 0:22:14
ourselves of the State of play,
Katya has been on top all week, you | 0:22:14 | 0:22:21
might be able to hear her in the
background, do you have what it | 0:22:21 | 0:22:25
takes to topple Mrs Jones? I really
hope so. I am watching you! Let's | 0:22:25 | 0:22:32
see how you got on, good luck. Thank
you. The other professionals are | 0:22:32 | 0:22:39
told me so much about the challenge
and it sounds competitive so it's | 0:22:39 | 0:22:42
not like I have been practising
every day for a few hours at all! | 0:22:42 | 0:22:49
Hello. Hello Dianne. Welcome to your
first Strictly pro challenge. How | 0:22:49 | 0:22:57
are you feeling? Slightly nervous
but super excited, not competitive | 0:22:57 | 0:23:00
at all I just really want to win.
There is a lot at stake. No | 0:23:00 | 0:23:06
pressure! None at all! Please take
your position on the dance floor. | 0:23:06 | 0:23:13
Thank you very much. Your official
attempt starting in three, two, one, | 0:23:13 | 0:23:17
go. | 0:23:17 | 0:23:19 | |
15 seconds. Keep it up, command.
That is good. Five, four, three, | 0:23:33 | 0:23:45
two, one, stop. Well done. Well
done. Well done. I'm all right, | 0:23:45 | 0:23:55
feeling OK. It looked good from
where I was sitting. Great, one | 0:23:55 | 0:24:03
fluff at the end but it was really
good. You really did keep the action | 0:24:03 | 0:24:07
going. Very good. Very good. Thank
you, thank you, fingers crossed. | 0:24:07 | 0:24:15
Really well done. It was so much fun
and I got some really good feedback | 0:24:15 | 0:24:22
from the judges saw the other pros
watch your back because I am coming. | 0:24:22 | 0:24:29
APPLAUSE
They seemed to be very encouraging, | 0:24:29 | 0:24:36
they do not normally give a lot
away, do you like the look of your | 0:24:36 | 0:24:41
swivels? Wasn't too bad, at the end
I got a bit tired but we will see. | 0:24:41 | 0:24:47
Tell me. This is the legal bit,
after each of the professionals made | 0:24:47 | 0:24:53
the attempt the footage was watched
back by adjudicators in slow motion | 0:24:53 | 0:24:57
to verify every single swivel to
make sure they were all accurate. 19 | 0:24:57 | 0:25:03
is the score to beat. Everybody
brief, Dianne, in 30 seconds you | 0:25:03 | 0:25:09
completed... | 0:25:09 | 0:25:15
21! CHEERING | 0:25:24 | 0:25:34
However are... Did not say however!
Not all of them were legal, Dianne, | 0:25:35 | 0:25:41
your score is going down under, you
had three disqualified giving you a | 0:25:41 | 0:25:48
score of 18! This is brilliant! She
will never speak to you again. | 0:25:48 | 0:25:59
Second on the leaderboard, how do
you feel? I am actually gutted. | 0:25:59 | 0:26:05
Gutted. I cannot go home now! | 0:26:05 | 0:26:10
CHEERING
APPLAUSE | 0:26:10 | 0:26:16
Katya may need starting tonight. | 0:26:16 | 0:26:19
Next up, it's time to celebrate
the career of one of our | 0:26:19 | 0:26:21
cast's brightest stars. | 0:26:21 | 0:26:22
She has been lighting up
the Ballroom since 2012 | 0:26:22 | 0:26:25
and is now our longest
serving female pro. | 0:26:25 | 0:26:26
This is Karen Clifton's Strictly CV. | 0:26:26 | 0:26:31
Welcome to our new dancer, Karen. I
joined in 2012. I was coming from | 0:26:35 | 0:26:43
New York and I was pretty much
thrown into a world full of glitter | 0:26:43 | 0:26:47
and magic and Spray Tan. It was very
scary. Nicky from West life will | 0:26:47 | 0:26:57
always hold a special place in my
heart. Your Uptown girl will be... | 0:26:57 | 0:27:02
He was my first partner. We hit it
off from the beginning, he was a | 0:27:02 | 0:27:09
good performer so I just had to
teach in the steps. My first week | 0:27:09 | 0:27:13
dancing with him we did the waltz.
Being the first time on that dance | 0:27:13 | 0:27:20
floor I really wanted to impress the
judges. Craig picked up on a small | 0:27:20 | 0:27:27
left. I am not happy Karen, there
are no lifts in the waltz. I wish | 0:27:27 | 0:27:32
you would stick to the rules. Maybe
I was trying too hard and Craig made | 0:27:32 | 0:27:38
sure I realised that. I was
devastated so I knew I had to learn | 0:27:38 | 0:27:47
and I learned very, very quickly.
Week three we did the quickstepped | 0:27:47 | 0:27:51
and I think that is when we really
came out of our shells. I felt like | 0:27:51 | 0:27:57
I had choreographed something I was
proud of. You are starting to win me | 0:27:57 | 0:28:02
over. It helped me and my
confidence. On series 11 eyes with | 0:28:02 | 0:28:09
David Healy biker. I am chuffed as
nuts. He was not a natural dancer | 0:28:09 | 0:28:18
but he was the most fun and
entertaining partner I have ever | 0:28:18 | 0:28:21
had. One of my most memorable dances
with him was doing the salsa to | 0:28:21 | 0:28:27
Cuban Pete. It was insane on the
dance floor. We were always going to | 0:28:27 | 0:28:35
get low scores but they did not
matter, what mattered was the joy | 0:28:35 | 0:28:39
because at the end of the day all he
wanted to do was learn to dance. On | 0:28:39 | 0:28:46
series 12 I danced with Mark Bright.
What I love about him was he was a | 0:28:46 | 0:28:52
perfectionist. In the semifinal we
were in the dance off. Being in the | 0:28:52 | 0:28:59
dance off is one of the scariest
things. We took a risk on the Rum | 0:28:59 | 0:29:03
bar. It was completely different,
something had not seen on Strictly. | 0:29:03 | 0:29:12
Who are you going to save? I am
going to save mark and Karen. It was | 0:29:12 | 0:29:21
going from low too high in Milly
second, I think we cried. I was | 0:29:21 | 0:29:27
really proud I was able to get my
celebrity all the way to the final. | 0:29:27 | 0:29:32
On series 13 I danced with Jeremy
Vine. The professor of the dance | 0:29:32 | 0:29:37
world. He would bring in his
notebook and interview me, he had | 0:29:37 | 0:29:43
notes on his hands, it was a dancing
dictionary. He really had the heart | 0:29:43 | 0:29:50
of the dancer. It was great to see
the enthusiasm and the joy in him. | 0:29:50 | 0:30:01
Last year I was paired with Will
Young and unfortunately our time on | 0:30:01 | 0:30:05
the programme was cut short. It was
such a shame because he had so much | 0:30:05 | 0:30:10
potential but sometimes things don't
work out the way you want them to. I | 0:30:10 | 0:30:16
have been very lucky to dance with
so many different celebrities but | 0:30:16 | 0:30:20
for me to be dancing with my husband
is always a pleasure. Kevin and I | 0:30:20 | 0:30:25
have had some great performances on
Strictly, it's time for us to really | 0:30:25 | 0:30:29
show our chemistry and our
connection. I love being part of | 0:30:29 | 0:30:34
Strictly, it's a show that brings
families together and it really | 0:30:34 | 0:30:38
brings a smile to everybody's face.
I feel really lucky to be part of | 0:30:38 | 0:30:43
something so amazing. | 0:30:43 | 0:30:44
I ahazing to see that. | 0:30:53 | 0:30:55
I ahazing to see that. | 0:30:55 | 0:30:56
My next guests braved a storm
to Quickstep their way to their best | 0:30:56 | 0:30:59
scores of the series. | 0:30:59 | 0:30:59
Very impressive. Nice and clean and
crisp. Keep that energy level right | 0:31:09 | 0:31:14
to the end. You did rolling pivots
that went round, that is one of the | 0:31:14 | 0:31:18
most difficult steps to do. You have
improved so much. Keep going, that | 0:31:18 | 0:31:22
is the way to get to the final of
this competition. | 0:31:22 | 0:31:28
APPLAUSE
Gorgeous. Gorgeous. | 0:31:28 | 0:31:42
Bring it all with you. Goodness me.
What lovely colour you both are? | 0:31:42 | 0:31:50
Should address this now. That is why
we brought the prop. In case you | 0:31:50 | 0:31:54
need to. It is like Violet
Baueregard. You are getting browner | 0:31:54 | 0:32:01
every minute. Your teeth are very
white. I love it. It is hilarious. | 0:32:01 | 0:32:09
It is like Ross in Friends. It is
like ain't half hot mum. You are | 0:32:09 | 0:32:16
watching -- washing it off. It is
the dedication. I don't normally | 0:32:16 | 0:32:26
condone the opening of umbrella
indoors but I have to say it was so | 0:32:26 | 0:32:29
impressive last weekend. What a
beautiful quickstep, how much did | 0:32:29 | 0:32:32
you enjoy it? I loved that radio
teerntion I loved it. It felt like | 0:32:32 | 0:32:37
we were just flying across the dance
floor. It was amazing and the dress, | 0:32:37 | 0:32:42
and, it was amazing, such a good
night. I won't forget that night. It | 0:32:42 | 0:32:46
was magical. You were incredible the
two of you. I know this dance is | 0:32:46 | 0:32:50
your favourite AJ, when did you get
a feeling this could be Mollie's | 0:32:50 | 0:32:54
best dance? Not Not until on day.
Didn't make it easy, it was so hard | 0:32:54 | 0:32:59
and fast, we slowed the music down
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, | 0:32:59 | 0:33:03
when it got the Friday, we got it
back up to full speed. He never | 0:33:03 | 0:33:10
tells me.
You are only going to worry | 0:33:10 | 0:33:16
yourself. Shirley said... Said you
have made humongous strides with | 0:33:16 | 0:33:25
your frame, hurrah for you. Oh yes!
APPLAUSE | 0:33:25 | 0:33:29
How does it feel? It was amazing,
hearing it from Shirley, I just, I | 0:33:29 | 0:33:34
love the judge, they are just like
my hero, when they say something | 0:33:34 | 0:33:40
nice it feels amairkz it was great
they have actually noticed I have | 0:33:40 | 0:33:44
improved on things at the start of
the series, they said I need to work | 0:33:44 | 0:33:47
on. You take it onboard. Monday
morning Mollie goes they have said | 0:33:47 | 0:33:54
this, and that, we want to take it
onboard. In the best scenario they | 0:33:54 | 0:34:01
say it is is a positive. Craig was
saying so much progress, he said | 0:34:01 | 0:34:09
somebody has gone a bit whoopsy. I
don't know what he is talking about. | 0:34:09 | 0:34:14
I definitely do. Oh no, Mollie. I I
tell you what it was, my body just | 0:34:14 | 0:34:20
gave in. I was so tired. I was meant
to slide along the floor, I was | 0:34:20 | 0:34:28
meant to go on my heels. Shall we do
it now? Don't injure yourself. It | 0:34:28 | 0:34:39
was suppose to be a little jump and
a slide. Mollie got tired and went | 0:34:39 | 0:34:47
walk, walk walk. You walked as a
dancer, I like knowing these things, | 0:34:47 | 0:34:54
quarterfinal you are in the final
six, does that feel terrific? I | 0:34:54 | 0:34:59
can't believe it. I can't believe we
are here. It is amazing, we want to | 0:34:59 | 0:35:03
say thank you for voting us through,
often we are near the bottom of the | 0:35:03 | 0:35:07
leader board, the fact people are
voting for us it means so much. It | 0:35:07 | 0:35:12
is overwhelming. Everyone gets
hysterical about musics week, AJ, | 0:35:12 | 0:35:18
you too. Look at AJ in the studio
this week. Yoo ho. He can sing now. | 0:35:18 | 0:35:34
That was good. Yoo-hoo. Take your
own part in life. Yoo-hoo. No more. | 0:35:34 | 0:35:53
They need some work.
AJ this week, rumba, Grease, tell me | 0:35:53 | 0:36:01
about it... Stud. I couldn't help
myself. You did throw me a bit. It | 0:36:01 | 0:36:11
is going fantastic. We have all the
technique, all the basic steps, the | 0:36:11 | 0:36:17
judges, Shirley will appreciate the
first steps. Mollie is on her own, | 0:36:17 | 0:36:23
doing a perfect rumba walk and it is
pretty perfect. Just saying. | 0:36:23 | 0:36:29
Let us hear the music to get her in
the mood. | 0:36:29 | 0:36:33
# I'm out of my head
# Hopelessly devoted to you. # | 0:36:33 | 0:36:40
You had to get up close and personal
in training. We have. It is... Stop | 0:36:40 | 0:36:48
it you lot. It is, it is embarring
to think our family and friends, | 0:36:48 | 0:36:53
because you have to try and be
intimate haven't you, and your | 0:36:53 | 0:36:58
parents are watching, so it is a bit
like... Just pretend they are not | 0:36:58 | 0:37:02
there. There. All the millions who
are watching. Have you practised | 0:37:02 | 0:37:07
your Danny in the mirror. It is a
standard thing, isn't it. It. Enjoy | 0:37:07 | 0:37:14
it so much. Thank you. Wait to see
the colour of AJ's face. It is what | 0:37:14 | 0:37:22
you do with your dancing shoe, it
doesn't matter what you do. Break a | 0:37:22 | 0:37:27
leg.
APPLAUSE | 0:37:27 | 0:37:28
APPLAUSE | 0:37:28 | 0:37:30
A little girl called Annie once
told me, "Tomorrow, tomorrow, | 0:37:30 | 0:37:33
I love you tomorrow,
it's only a day away." | 0:37:33 | 0:37:35
And that's also when our celebs
make their Strictly Musical debuts. | 0:37:35 | 0:37:38
Let's see how Gemma &
Alexandra are getting on. | 0:37:38 | 0:37:48
I find it difficult to be light on
my feet. I'm 11 stone, I'm not | 0:37:48 | 0:37:53
light. When I am doing it I feel
like a gazelle, but not one that is | 0:37:53 | 0:37:58
gracefully running through a field,
one that has been chased by a lion | 0:37:58 | 0:38:02
and it is is a bit wobbly and trying
to get away from hit. We are going | 0:38:02 | 0:38:07
to work hard, I am not going to tell
her how hard because she will get | 0:38:07 | 0:38:13
scared. I will lie to her the whole
week. | 0:38:13 | 0:38:20 | |
It is musicals week. I am super
excited and I am doing a Charleston. | 0:38:20 | 0:38:24
I have been waiting so long to do a
Charleston. | 0:38:24 | 0:38:29
It is energetic and people know what
I am like, it is going to be a hard | 0:38:29 | 0:38:33
dance.
The Charleston involves lift, a lot | 0:38:33 | 0:38:38
of the swivels with your ankles. We
need to keep working the way we have | 0:38:38 | 0:38:43
been doing for the past ten weeks.
This is the one dance where I am | 0:38:43 | 0:38:48
gone Riley want to do this. Here we
are doing the Charleston. Seven, | 0:38:48 | 0:38:52
eight. Yes! Boom.
Everyone is looking so good. | 0:38:52 | 0:39:01
Tomorrow the studio will be alive
with the sound of music once more, | 0:39:01 | 0:39:04
earlier Gethin met the man
responsible for making it all | 0:39:04 | 0:39:07
happen.
I have wandered into sound with | 0:39:07 | 0:39:16
Tony. Do I have to turn you on?
Testing, testing. Sounding great. | 0:39:16 | 0:39:24
Sound supervisor what does that
enTain tail? It's the head of the | 0:39:24 | 0:39:28
sound department. I have to plan and
book the equipment for the shows and | 0:39:28 | 0:39:32
people, and then on the night I am
sat at the desk waggling fader. | 0:39:32 | 0:39:40
There are many to waggle on a
Saturday night. So many elms to | 0:39:40 | 0:39:43
think about. Yes, every element you
hear is captured on his own | 0:39:43 | 0:39:49
microphone and mixed in with
everything else. It is mad in here | 0:39:49 | 0:39:52
on Saturday night? We try to keep it
calm. How many do you have? About | 0:39:52 | 0:39:57
160 in the studio. All mixed in
here. Yes. About 50 are radio | 0:39:57 | 0:40:03
microphone, the rest are on the
band, hanging round the audience and | 0:40:03 | 0:40:08
collect the atmosphere. What is
incredible, with everybody we have | 0:40:08 | 0:40:14
talked to is the planning that goes
in it to. What is like for you. | 0:40:14 | 0:40:19
Fairly hectic, you don't stop
planning, knowing you thinking of | 0:40:19 | 0:40:24
ways and things to improve it. It is
ongoing all the way through to | 0:40:24 | 0:40:31
Christmas. I know you are good for a
fact because you have won a lifetime | 0:40:31 | 0:40:37
achievement award with the Royal
Television Society, what a moment? | 0:40:37 | 0:40:40
Amazing, fantastic. I was
overwhelmed. It was a great evening | 0:40:40 | 0:40:45
and a great accolade. So much so you
have had enough. Are you hanging up | 0:40:45 | 0:40:52
your microphone? Yes, they call it
retirement. How many have you done I | 0:40:52 | 0:40:58
did the first one, then I started
again in 2010. ? Congratulationses, | 0:40:58 | 0:41:02
good luck tomorrow night and the
rest of the series. Thank you very | 0:41:02 | 0:41:06
much indeed.
Tony, a legend. | 0:41:06 | 0:41:09
Tony, a legend. | 0:41:09 | 0:41:10
Right now, I am thrilled to say
we have one of Strictly's leading | 0:41:10 | 0:41:13
ladies in the house. | 0:41:13 | 0:41:14
Please go wild for the one
and only Darcey Bussell! | 0:41:14 | 0:41:23
, good luck tomorrow night and | 0:41:23 | 0:41:24
Jump suit. Look at her. Hello
gorgeous lady. How are you darling. | 0:41:30 | 0:41:36
Shoes! Look at the legs, incredible.
We have missed you. How excited are | 0:41:36 | 0:41:43
you to have your front row ticket
for musicals week? I have to say I | 0:41:43 | 0:41:48
don't know what the musicals are
yet, so I am excited. I should have | 0:41:48 | 0:41:52
been watching. You have not been
watching the show. I apologise. It | 0:41:52 | 0:41:58
is really good. If they are iconic,
that is great because it a test for | 0:41:58 | 0:42:04
them, because the audience know the
stories so well, so it is for them | 0:42:04 | 0:42:08
to bring them to life, through the
dancing and it has to be true to the | 0:42:08 | 0:42:12
narrative, which is exciting. I
can't wait. We are down to the final | 0:42:12 | 0:42:17
six Guys and Dolls. How impressed
are you with all of them? Every week | 0:42:17 | 0:42:23
it has been impressive. Each week
they have put the notch up. It could | 0:42:23 | 0:42:29
be down to technique, content, they
have just really tested themselves | 0:42:29 | 0:42:35
but being daring and taking risks
which we appreciate because it makes | 0:42:35 | 0:42:41
it more exciting. That shows their
level, they are improving every | 0:42:41 | 0:42:47
week, for us as judges it is the
best thing to watch. We never get | 0:42:47 | 0:42:52
bored. They there were gasps last
week. Why has it been unpredictable | 0:42:52 | 0:43:01
this year? I don't know, I sup pose
because they are taking risk and so | 0:43:01 | 0:43:06
suddenly you expect so much and you
are like, hang on, what's happened? | 0:43:06 | 0:43:10
But the level still has grown, even
though they might have had shows | 0:43:10 | 0:43:15
where it hasn't been to their best
dance, and you have seen so many | 0:43:15 | 0:43:20
better ones, early on in the show.
It is fairly difficult for the | 0:43:20 | 0:43:24
public when somebody is in the
middle of a score board to vote them | 0:43:24 | 0:43:28
as well. They forget. We vote for
the top or the bottom and that is | 0:43:28 | 0:43:35
when you suddenly get surprises.
There has been a lot of surprises We | 0:43:35 | 0:43:40
have had Debbie as well. It is time,
very exciting, for viewer questions | 0:43:40 | 0:43:45
in a ground-breaking new segment we
are calling... Darcey's top lines. | 0:43:45 | 0:43:58
Are you ready to answer the great
British public? Here we go, this | 0:43:58 | 0:44:02
first question comes from Emma. If
you were competing on the show, | 0:44:02 | 0:44:06
which pro-would you want to be
partnered with. She says hashtag | 0:44:06 | 0:44:12
difficult decisions. Not that
difficult I did have Ian Waite. You | 0:44:12 | 0:44:16
did, I know. I have to say it very
kind of do you share him. And I got | 0:44:16 | 0:44:22
do a jive with him, and a rumba, and
it was a joy, because we couldn't be | 0:44:22 | 0:44:27
perfectly, like you, I am tall,
needed somebody to complement the | 0:44:27 | 0:44:32
long limbs and things like that. To
have, you know Ian was divine and I | 0:44:32 | 0:44:39
have got, I had such awe great time.
If it was somebody on the show at | 0:44:39 | 0:44:43
the present moment it would be
Aljaz, because... | 0:44:43 | 0:44:55
Seen him in ballroom is just a
dream. George says hello, I and | 0:44:55 | 0:45:03
seven years old and I love Strictly,
he asks if you have a look at | 0:45:03 | 0:45:10
Craig's number panels before they
hold it up? I try so hard that he | 0:45:10 | 0:45:16
always has been tucked away.
Sometimes I get a sneaky peek and | 0:45:16 | 0:45:20
it's difficult to compose myself
because I am in such a shock! But | 0:45:20 | 0:45:23
often I don't. It's horrible. I like
how you almost go to hit him. I | 0:45:23 | 0:45:32
cannot help but react before I
remember I am on live TV. Another | 0:45:32 | 0:45:38
asking, if you were to add one more
style of dance to the programme | 0:45:38 | 0:45:42
which would you choose? Can I answer
this? It is difficult, there are so | 0:45:42 | 0:45:51
many brilliant genres out there and
we are spoilt to have a great | 0:45:51 | 0:45:55
collection. I think something which
is quite similar, probably the Lindy | 0:45:55 | 0:46:00
Hop. Nice! I like the idea of all
the girls in plimsolls, trainers, | 0:46:00 | 0:46:06
what you call them, flats because
it's difficult to dancing heels and | 0:46:06 | 0:46:11
we all know that when you go
nightclubbing, how difficult it is | 0:46:11 | 0:46:15
to dance in heels for a long time.
You think about the amount of | 0:46:15 | 0:46:18
training but it's also nice and
springy, some nice flips, it is | 0:46:18 | 0:46:23
physical and athletic so it would
really test them. I am just thinking | 0:46:23 | 0:46:31
of Darcey going nightclubbing now!
Not in the East! This one from Mark, | 0:46:31 | 0:46:39
my son loves watching the programme
with his mum, asking if you ever | 0:46:39 | 0:46:46
wish you were dancing instead of
judging? Always, I cannot sit still | 0:46:46 | 0:46:52
for two seconds. Have to get up and
try the moves myself. I am really | 0:46:52 | 0:46:57
envious. I hate sitting down and
watching, I want to join in. I am | 0:46:57 | 0:47:04
really a sad, retired dancer. There
is nothing sad about it! That is all | 0:47:04 | 0:47:09
the time we have, thank you everyone
for sending in your questions, we | 0:47:09 | 0:47:13
could have done that all-night!
Darcey Bussell! CHEERING | 0:47:13 | 0:47:17
APPLAUSE | 0:47:17 | 0:47:21
Right now, it's the time of the week
when we all get a bit emotional | 0:47:21 | 0:47:25
about our professional partners. | 0:47:25 | 0:47:26
I don't know about you
but I've got chills - | 0:47:26 | 0:47:28
and they're multiplying. | 0:47:28 | 0:47:29
Take a look. | 0:47:29 | 0:47:31
This experience has definitely
changed me. Dancing is like therapy. | 0:47:35 | 0:47:39
Expressing yourself and having fun.
Strictly for me has been one big | 0:47:39 | 0:47:44
joy, we have not stopped having fun
from the first day of rehearsals. I | 0:47:44 | 0:47:51
would say Strictly has changed me in
the way I have wanted to work harder | 0:47:51 | 0:47:54
for what I want in life. It's been
the first time where I have gone | 0:47:54 | 0:47:58
that it makes me happy I do not want
it to end. When she goes into the | 0:47:58 | 0:48:03
dance floor she becomes something
else. I am the proudest man I could | 0:48:03 | 0:48:07
be for a dancing with her. What I
will take away from this experience | 0:48:07 | 0:48:13
is the hard work and dedication
Mollie Pitts in, she's always | 0:48:13 | 0:48:17
willing to do more. I never knew I
would fall in love with dancing like | 0:48:17 | 0:48:21
I have it's amazing. The idea of
dancing for me does not fill me with | 0:48:21 | 0:48:27
dread any more, it fills me with
joy, it is making me smile and feel | 0:48:27 | 0:48:31
happy. It is such a journey for him
and it's so nice to see how Danskin | 0:48:31 | 0:48:36
change a person. It has taught me to
be braver, it's OK to be frightened, | 0:48:36 | 0:48:44
terrified, feel the fear and do it
anyway is the big lesson I have | 0:48:44 | 0:48:47
learned. They are relying on you,
you have to be there for them no | 0:48:47 | 0:48:53
matter what and have the belief that
we can go all the way. I will take | 0:48:53 | 0:48:59
away from this experience a friend.
She really is an inspiration for | 0:48:59 | 0:49:02
everybody. The biggest thing I will
take away from this series is the | 0:49:02 | 0:49:07
love and warmth. Having had two very
sad years where I really felt I had | 0:49:07 | 0:49:14
lost my sparkle, Strictly has
brought my sparkle back. That got me | 0:49:14 | 0:49:23
right there. | 0:49:23 | 0:49:25
Right now, back for a revival
of their hit four-person review | 0:49:25 | 0:49:28
show, it's the Friday Panel. | 0:49:28 | 0:49:35
They have not stopped gossiping
about everybody. Mel Giedroyc... | 0:49:35 | 0:49:46
They have not stopped gossiping
about everybody. Mel I am doing a | 0:49:46 | 0:49:46
surely, look at the top frame. Did
you see her dancing with Will | 0:49:46 | 0:49:54
Ferrell? It was hilarious. Davood
and Nadiya, Argentine tango, Phantom | 0:49:54 | 0:50:01
Of The Opera, will this be
frighteningly good? I hope for the | 0:50:01 | 0:50:06
chandelier, look at that, she is
being the cloak in some way, he has | 0:50:06 | 0:50:11
got the mask on! And there should be
flames. Hopefully he will descend on | 0:50:11 | 0:50:18
the chandelier. I hope a lot. I hope
they can live up to your | 0:50:18 | 0:50:25
expectations! Maintaining the frame!
The judges praised this peer's | 0:50:25 | 0:50:33
sizzling chemistry, are you excited?
Maintain the frame. Very excited, I | 0:50:33 | 0:50:39
think Davood is fantastic. His
height does help. What are you | 0:50:39 | 0:50:46
trying to say about little people?
They are a fantastic couple, they | 0:50:46 | 0:50:53
get on well, the sparks fly. Davood
is stealth. Absolutely stealth. Is | 0:50:53 | 0:51:02
his chest real? Yes, definitely I
have checked it. Mollie and AJ, | 0:51:02 | 0:51:15
Rumba, here they are, what do you
think? What a crowd pleaser this | 0:51:15 | 0:51:22
will be, everybody loves Greece and
everybody loves them. And we have | 0:51:22 | 0:51:30
just seen them and they actually
hate each other! No, they love each | 0:51:30 | 0:51:34
other and it's all about couplings.
You know when couples really get on | 0:51:34 | 0:51:39
the star to look like each other,
they look very similar! Like people | 0:51:39 | 0:51:45
can look like their dogs! LAUGHTER
It's notoriously difficult, the | 0:51:45 | 0:51:52
Rumba, we hear it all the time, any
tips? Let me go back three years... | 0:51:52 | 0:52:00
With gorgeous Trent. I loved doing
it, Trent was amazing, he taught me | 0:52:00 | 0:52:05
so much and was really specific on
the technique and our Rumba told a | 0:52:05 | 0:52:10
story. It's about getting into
character and telling a story and | 0:52:10 | 0:52:15
what I love about watching it, I
don't know if I did it but it's when | 0:52:15 | 0:52:20
they use every single count right to
the last and keep going, it keeps | 0:52:20 | 0:52:27
going! You missed it when you don't
get to do it again. Debbie McGee and | 0:52:27 | 0:52:38
Giovanni, Memory from Cats, American
Smooth, what are you doing? I have | 0:52:38 | 0:52:45
been a monumental fan of this couple
since the very beginning. Look, they | 0:52:45 | 0:52:53
just melt together, it's
extraordinary. She is everything she | 0:52:53 | 0:52:56
does she is good at. And she is
clearly a very gracious and | 0:52:56 | 0:53:07
lovely,... | 0:53:07 | 0:53:08
clearly a very gracious and
I think she is separate from her | 0:53:08 | 0:53:11
legs. Maybe that is doing all the
days of getting cut in half? Do you | 0:53:11 | 0:53:22
know each other from the magic
circle? Yes, I have been round her | 0:53:22 | 0:53:27
and Paul's ice for a cup of tea. She
came along with a balanced on the | 0:53:27 | 0:53:34
tree, to go with a cloth and it was
still there. Quickly, who will we be | 0:53:34 | 0:53:40
saying farewell to? I feel in my
waters that, maintain the frame, | 0:53:40 | 0:53:51
that it's going to be a shocker. We
think the person to go will be Craig | 0:53:51 | 0:54:00
Revel Horwood! It is always a tough
one, you never know, nobody is safe, | 0:54:00 | 0:54:10
you have to vote for your
favourite... I don't know, I am | 0:54:10 | 0:54:14
voting for Mollie and I love
Debbie... Real delay diplomatic! | 0:54:14 | 0:54:23
For the final time tonight,
let's check in with a man | 0:54:23 | 0:54:26
who would do anything,
and I mean anything, | 0:54:26 | 0:54:28
for backstage gossip. | 0:54:28 | 0:54:29
It's Gethin 'The Artful
Dodger' Jones. | 0:54:29 | 0:54:30
I am here with the principal cast
members who have iconic roles, how | 0:54:30 | 0:54:39
is it looking? I love Mary Poppins
and I am really interested in the | 0:54:39 | 0:54:42
Hat, I don't know how big it will
be, it's not getting here until | 0:54:42 | 0:54:46
tomorrow and my shoes are being made
as we speak. I don't know what I am | 0:54:46 | 0:54:50
wearing, but the dress looks
fabulous. Gawker was asking me how | 0:54:50 | 0:54:55
to do a Cockney accent. Can he pull
off | 0:54:55 | 0:55:05 | |
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious?
No, but he is trying and you have to | 0:55:05 | 0:55:08
give him props for that. You were
praised last week, Phantom Of The | 0:55:08 | 0:55:16
Opera opera, how are you feeling?
It's hard to dance with a mass gone | 0:55:16 | 0:55:22
so if you see me doing this it's
because I cannot see what I am doing | 0:55:22 | 0:55:26
on. I will guide you where you need
to be and you can guide me. Do you | 0:55:26 | 0:55:31
talk to each other about this and
that? We definitely do. Sometimes we | 0:55:31 | 0:55:38
rehearse in the same studio so we
talk it through, the Argentine | 0:55:38 | 0:55:42
tango, swivels of the charleston.
Charleston is the one you have been | 0:55:42 | 0:55:46
looking forward to. I have seen
everyone else doing it and I am so | 0:55:46 | 0:55:51
excited, I am bouncing around the
stage, so excited. Neither of you | 0:55:51 | 0:55:56
have had ten from Craig yet, what do
you have to do? Fingers crossed and | 0:55:56 | 0:56:01
hope for the best! Maybe this will
get you it? I still cannot do it! | 0:56:01 | 0:56:07
Thanks Gethin! | 0:56:07 | 0:56:09
I'm afraid that's all
we have time for tonight! | 0:56:09 | 0:56:11
A huge thanks to my guests and make
sure you join Tess and Claud | 0:56:11 | 0:56:14
for the Strictly Musical special
tomorrow night at 7:05pm on BBC1. | 0:56:14 | 0:56:17
I'll be back on Monday
with the next couple | 0:56:17 | 0:56:19
to leave the competition,
but right now, singing us | 0:56:19 | 0:56:21
out with her new single
'Won't Forget You' - | 0:56:21 | 0:56:23
it's Pixie Lott featuring Stylo G! | 0:56:23 | 0:56:29
# You've been on my mind | 0:56:29 | 0:56:30
# We used to be so crazy | 0:56:30 | 0:56:32
# A few years turned to five | 0:56:32 | 0:56:34
# I haven't called you lately | 0:56:34 | 0:56:38
# We left it behind us | 0:56:38 | 0:56:42
# But one touch, reminds us | 0:56:42 | 0:56:44
# And I know | 0:56:44 | 0:56:45
# One touch, reminds us | 0:56:45 | 0:56:46
# Remember the sleepless nights? | 0:56:46 | 0:56:49
# They could have last forever | 0:56:49 | 0:56:51
# Remember the midnight drives? | 0:56:51 | 0:56:53
# The feeling of now or never | 0:56:53 | 0:56:55
# The good times, the bad times | 0:56:55 | 0:56:57
# Tell me do you remember? | 0:56:57 | 0:56:59
# All day, all night | 0:56:59 | 0:57:02
# I won't forget you | 0:57:02 | 0:57:10
# I won't forget you | 0:57:15 | 0:57:22
# Did too much, too young | 0:57:22 | 0:57:24
# We used up all nine lives | 0:57:24 | 0:57:25
# We never thought of home | 0:57:25 | 0:57:28
# And I'm still holding on | 0:57:28 | 0:57:30
# Whatcha want boy? | 0:57:30 | 0:57:31
