Who do you think it is? Faith owed later in the shore. We will reveal

:07:39.:07:45.

later in the shore. We will reveal everything later on.

:07:45.:07:53.

Here to deflect on the teens is Karen Hardy. -- to reflect on the

:07:53.:08:03.
:08:03.:08:19.

Please welcome the Queen of choreography. Did you feel like the

:08:19.:08:22.

professional dancers are trying to show off their technical ability?

:08:22.:08:31.

Absolutely. It is all in the Like my Irish stew. It is all in

:08:31.:08:41.
:08:41.:08:44.

the preparation. The professionals have been doing all this homework,

:08:44.:08:49.

for all these weeks. Now all that homework is starting to pay offer.

:08:49.:08:54.

We had some incredible numbers this week. Let us take a look. Anita and

:08:54.:09:01.

Robin and the Charleston. Such fun. Was a bold of Robin to put in so

:09:01.:09:07.

much solo work? All this will work much solo work? All this will work

:09:07.:09:10.

was interesting. Last week, she was on her own throughout. This will

:09:10.:09:17.

make her stronger and stronger. Look at the timings. The Unison is

:09:17.:09:21.

slightly off. This is so fast. It slightly off. This is so fast. It

:09:21.:09:25.

is getting faster, than music. She managed it. She is an inspiration

:09:25.:09:34.

up the floor. What is important about solo work, as a professional,

:09:34.:09:38.

we are always taught that you have to learn the steps yourself. You

:09:38.:09:45.

have to be strong on your own feet so that your mark the United team.

:09:45.:09:49.

-- You are the United team. This is a great week for her to be learning

:09:49.:09:54.

how to stand her ground. Anything else to come, they will be strong.

:09:54.:09:59.

She will walk it. Oodles of energy, as always. Jason and Christine, a

:09:59.:10:04.

shock on Saturday. They were quite low. Alesha even said she got bored

:10:04.:10:14.
:10:14.:10:14.

We don't see our celebrities do a great rumba. Our male celebrities.

:10:14.:10:20.

Taking these steps, two, three, four, hold, two, three, four, hold.

:10:20.:10:26.

That's the reason why rumba is so difficult. What they are having to

:10:26.:10:30.

do, we've got four beats, but they're only allowed to step on

:10:30.:10:38.

three of them. What happens on the fourth for the celebrities.

:10:38.:10:41.

Kristina's been clever and is putting in the basic work for the

:10:41.:10:48.

judges because she knows she's got to get the points, but then like a

:10:48.:10:52.

red herring, she's lifting, backbending, elevating, all sorts

:10:52.:10:56.

of things, distracting the eye which is perfect. To be honest, you

:10:56.:11:02.

need to get through this rumba. So I don't ever remember a great male

:11:02.:11:05.

celebrity rumba. We've seen some great lady celebritys in the past

:11:05.:11:10.

but never men. It's that heavy empty look that we always get from

:11:10.:11:15.

it. So yes, it felt down the mark. Not his strongest? No. But he's

:11:15.:11:23.

never bad, Jason, is he, even when he's not as good. Russell and

:11:23.:11:28.

Flavia, the delightful bullfighter, hilarious, did Flavia put in a lot

:11:28.:11:32.

of paso content here? This was comedy and content all together.

:11:32.:11:37.

What a mix! We were ready for the comedy and we thought it would be,

:11:37.:11:41.

come on, Russell, let's have a laugh. I was shocked by this. Look

:11:41.:11:47.

at the arms and the pair there, he maintains the arm stretch and uses

:11:47.:11:53.

them up, all the basic lines that the judges will bang on. People at

:11:53.:11:57.

home will understand this, you know. I think sometimes we get distracted

:11:57.:12:02.

by what dance this is. This was pretty clear, Paso Doble. Strong

:12:02.:12:09.

marching steps, OK, rumbas and cha- chas, we walk. Samba and jive, we

:12:09.:12:15.

step. In Paso Doble, we march and he was marching across the floor

:12:15.:12:19.

with great shapes and a bit of comedy to add to the value. Holly

:12:19.:12:24.

and Artem and the jive. What was it about the choreography that made

:12:24.:12:28.

this so unique and terrific? It was very, very special, I've got to say.

:12:28.:12:32.

I'll try and explain why. Look at this choreography I've chosen here,

:12:32.:12:35.

look. She's flicking her feet, rotating the whole step and turning

:12:35.:12:39.

under the arm at the same time. We've got so much content in there,

:12:39.:12:44.

so many steps, but then on the top they were like oh, this is so

:12:44.:12:49.

easy... So cool. This is so cool. It wasn't that normal jive we are

:12:49.:12:52.

used to where it's normally that beat bop beat bop junking around,

:12:52.:12:55.

so I want to say to everybody at home, it's definitely not wrong

:12:56.:13:00.

what they were doing, it was an alternative swing-style jive.

:13:00.:13:03.

People will be used to the big heavy kicks, they were in there,

:13:03.:13:07.

but what he did is, he trained her to pick the feet up to the body,

:13:07.:13:11.

rather than bounce around with the head. On to Harry and Aliona and

:13:11.:13:17.

their Samba. Great comments but not good I should say. Where do you

:13:17.:13:21.

think he's lacking? choreography was brilliant. What

:13:21.:13:25.

was missing was the party element. He just needed to relax. But look

:13:25.:13:29.

at this slow-mo. Did you see that body action? I'm trying not to look,

:13:29.:13:34.

please! I know everybody at home is in love with the Harry and the look

:13:34.:13:37.

and everything, but I want to explain to you, that is called body

:13:37.:13:42.

action. Yes. Now, they only have such a short time to train in a

:13:42.:13:46.

week. Layer one, choreography, layer two, timing, layer three,

:13:47.:13:51.

technique. We had all of that in this routine. Layer four, she had

:13:51.:13:56.

time for layer four, which is using the body action. But, to be honest,

:13:56.:14:01.

I would have traded that body action at this moment for just a

:14:01.:14:06.

big smile and a big, yes, I'm in carnival and loving what I'm doing.

:14:06.:14:10.

It was all a bit too serious for me, but in general, the choreography

:14:10.:14:15.

was all there and brilliant. show dancing? No, good, I loved it.

:14:15.:14:21.

A point for that. Robbie and Ola and their waltz. Robbie had mixed

:14:21.:14:24.

feedback. It seemed very traditional. Was that Ola's aim, do

:14:24.:14:27.

you think? What I saw here was, everything was stripped away from

:14:27.:14:31.

Robbie and it was the pure dancing. Look at this, one, two, three, of

:14:31.:14:35.

the waltz. She's basically, you know, it's one of the messages I

:14:35.:14:39.

like. Little messages from the professionals saying, everybody

:14:39.:14:44.

look at my celebrity. The rising of the falling and everything. This is

:14:44.:14:48.

what I want you to look at. The beautiful waltz across the floor

:14:48.:14:51.

and he for me has the best top line in this competition yet. He's going

:14:52.:14:57.

to be so chuffed to hear that. Great top line, it shows off the

:14:57.:14:59.

choreography, he's a ballroom dancer through and through,

:14:59.:15:01.

beautiful. There was a great weekend of dancing.

:15:01.:15:06.

Good. Well done Robbie. Chelsee and Pasha to finish with. Their

:15:06.:15:11.

charleston. It was so exciting. Top scores of the night. Very clever

:15:11.:15:15.

choreography from Pasha and tricky. Tricky! We had everything in here

:15:15.:15:21.

from the side by side, from arms kicking, look at this bit of

:15:21.:15:25.

choreography I've chosen on one leg. Arms going, legs going the other

:15:25.:15:30.

way, it's one of these, have you tried this? I'm not attempting it!

:15:30.:15:34.

And doing your head at the same time. That's what charleston is.

:15:34.:15:37.

Then he had her using the stairs, they're back on the floor doing

:15:38.:15:43.

lifts. It was the most incredible number, it really was a finale. I

:15:43.:15:48.

would like to see some tens coming soon because she's beginning to

:15:48.:15:51.

improve her her technique is getting stronger. The beat bop look

:15:51.:15:56.

is gone now. It's getting strength inside it and I think every week

:15:56.:16:00.

now these couples - I'm so excited - it's brilliant! Karen, see you

:16:00.:16:05.

next week, we love you, Karen Hardy!

:16:05.:16:09.

Alex and James impressed all the judges this weekend with their

:16:09.:16:13.

classy and sophisticated quickstep. I'll chat to them in a second but

:16:13.:16:22.

first up, a reminder of how they did it. Excitement. Elegant,

:16:22.:16:26.

dynamic. Alex, the quickstep was like a fine champagne. It made me

:16:26.:16:30.

feel giddy. You are going from strength-to-strength, the girl from

:16:30.:16:40.
:16:40.:16:42.

Wales did good! You really did that dance which was full of personality.

:16:42.:16:47.

Eight. Oh, ork, oh, put me down now, put me down. Despite the dress and

:16:47.:16:51.

lying on the floor at the end, I think we are moving in the right

:16:51.:16:56.

direction. Been compared to a fine champagne, who'd have thought, even

:16:56.:16:59.

if we were in the club we would have been on our backs drinking the

:17:00.:17:04.

champagne. Give it up for Alex and James.

:17:04.:17:08.

Hello. You gorgeous twosome. You had a gruelling week last week, but

:17:08.:17:13.

it paid off, Alex. Great quickstep? Well, the quickstep, as you know,

:17:13.:17:18.

very quick, James turned into Sergeant-Major and put me through

:17:18.:17:22.

my paces and he was very - it was very tiring, although you were more

:17:22.:17:28.

tired than me to be fair. My bum looks real I nice in those trousers.

:17:28.:17:32.

I'm not surprised after all the bouncing up and down. We are

:17:32.:17:35.

looking at Alex's face, not your bottom. I imagine some are. Craig

:17:36.:17:41.

thanked you, he loved it so much Can you believe it?! Can you

:17:41.:17:44.

believe it! It was like an outer body experience when Craig said

:17:44.:17:48.

that. It's probably the highest praise you can get. Coming from

:17:48.:17:53.

Craig, well, that was amazing. Craig was the only one that

:17:53.:17:57.

commented on the dress situation and I think he even spoke to me

:17:57.:18:00.

afterwards and said, I saw after 25 seconds, her foot got caught and

:18:00.:18:04.

didn't come out at all for the rest of the routine. I was watching at

:18:04.:18:09.

home with my buddies and nobody even noticed that. Well done for

:18:09.:18:12.

coping with that. That could have thrown somebody. When did you

:18:12.:18:16.

realise it got stuck. I went to do a hop and I thought I can't move my

:18:16.:18:20.

foot and I tried to dislodge it but it wasn't happening and a few of

:18:20.:18:25.

the steps got lost because of it. But I just thought we are here now,

:18:25.:18:29.

carry on. But I'm very grateful to Craig just for saying that he did

:18:29.:18:32.

notice because, as you said, it wouldn't have been obvious to the

:18:32.:18:37.

people at home. I know. Well done, you really did cope brilliantly.

:18:37.:18:41.

Well done. Also, the ending. That was hilarious. We are all assuming

:18:41.:18:46.

it wasn't planned. The falling over? I don't... You thought it was

:18:46.:18:53.

funny, I didn't think it was that funny. Really. Can we see it again.

:18:53.:18:59.

Down they go! Look! Yeah, really funny, yes.

:18:59.:19:06.

Alesha and Bruno laughing, Craig didn't look amused. I wasn't.

:19:06.:19:10.

you were the one that fell backwards. You sat on me and pulled

:19:10.:19:16.

me over. Come on now, I was just so relieved to get to the end of the

:19:16.:19:20.

routine by that part. You thought you would rugby tackle me. You are

:19:20.:19:27.

supposed to be the fit and strong one, sit up! Well said! You tell

:19:27.:19:31.

him, Alex! You thought that was fast, you are doing the jive this

:19:31.:19:35.

week. Even faster. How are you finding it, Alex? We haven't done

:19:35.:19:41.

that much so far. It's all about kicks and flicks. Yeah, I'm finding

:19:41.:19:44.

the basics a bit difficult, but it's always like this at the

:19:44.:19:47.

beginning of the week. This is something I need to ask you, as the

:19:47.:19:53.

competition goes on, does any of it get any easier? Any of Strictly?

:19:53.:19:59.

Well, I suppose it gets easier - you probably disagree - to learn

:19:59.:20:03.

the routine and remember the steps. Look at his eyes. No yes. We are

:20:03.:20:09.

feeling that this week with the jive aren't we? Yes. I don't know,

:20:09.:20:12.

even though I'm still nervous, I think it's because we are getting

:20:12.:20:16.

to the point when there are less contestants there, it's really

:20:16.:20:19.

important to enjoy yourselves on a Saturday because it could be the

:20:19.:20:23.

last week. I've just kind of tried to push the nerves aside a bit.

:20:23.:20:27.

noticed that as well with her. be gutted if I come out and think,

:20:27.:20:33.

why did you look so scared. Yes. You have given it a bit more welly

:20:33.:20:37.

now, as Len would say. It was joyful watching you on Saturday

:20:37.:20:41.

because you really did, even though you had your heel stuck, you were

:20:41.:20:44.

loving it. What do you think the main hurdles will be for Alex with

:20:44.:20:54.
:20:54.:20:55.

the jive, James? Probably the jive. Worrying. At the moment, you're OK

:20:55.:21:05.
:21:05.:21:06.

with lindy kicks... What is a lindy kick? Do I have to do it? This is a

:21:06.:21:14.

lindy kick, but as soon as she does anything in sync, that is it.

:21:14.:21:18.

can't believe you wear a tap shoe just generally. They are not tap

:21:18.:21:23.

shoes, it's this floor. James, you ooze masculinity. I think so.

:21:23.:21:29.

been told to say that. When you are dancing,, but in training, you are

:21:29.:21:32.

quite capable - you know what's coming - of embraiting your

:21:32.:21:40.

feminine side. Have a little look at this. Oh, no. Embracing your

:21:40.:21:44.

feminine side. I'm probably the man's man out of everybody. # All

:21:44.:21:49.

the single ladies # All the single ladies... #

:21:49.:21:55.

tight fit that skirt on you. I know. Two, three, cha-cha-cha, I'm happy

:21:56.:22:05.
:22:06.:22:07.

to show her true femininity. from the top...

:22:08.:22:17.

And dance the turn. Like at me like that. He makes a great girl. Stop

:22:17.:22:25.

It's the funniest thing I've seen. Come on, Janet, it was time. That

:22:25.:22:30.

you came out to play properly. dad would be so proud, he really

:22:30.:22:35.

will. Thoroughly thrilled. Ten days to two until Wembley. How much

:22:35.:22:41.

daupt to be there? I really want to be there, but I just want to stay -

:22:41.:22:45.

- do you want to be there. I love spending time with Janet. Joking

:22:45.:22:49.

aside, we have such a good time. do. It's not about winning or

:22:49.:22:53.

getting to a certain stage, it's just about being able to dance the

:22:53.:22:57.

next day and the day after that. And spend time with me. And spend

:22:57.:23:03.

time with you. With him. Good luck this weekend with the kicks, flicks

:23:03.:23:07.

and tricks, Alex and Janet! Thanks for that!

:23:07.:23:11.

Janet Jordan, it's got a certain ring to it! Have you managed to

:23:11.:23:17.

guess who the pro-dancers were? Here is the answer. Who was

:23:17.:23:23.

everyone talking about? Did you guess? You guessed it, it's me.

:23:23.:23:26.

James thought it was Kristina, he got it wrong. It was our very own

:23:26.:23:30.

Aliona. This weekend, we saw Holly in pinstripe, Russell in polka dots

:23:30.:23:34.

and Harry in a slashed shirt so sheer you could see straight

:23:34.:23:41.

through it. Here to talk fashion in just a second our designers Sadie

:23:41.:23:49.

Frost and Jemima French but nirs a reminder of who wore what at the

:23:49.:23:59.
:23:59.:24:05.

Please welcome founders and designers of fashion label Frost

:24:05.:24:10.

French, Sadie Frost and Jemima French. Welcome to the show, ladies.

:24:10.:24:14.

Let ice kick off with Chelsee's charleston dress from Saturday's

:24:15.:24:17.

show. The first time we saw a charleston dress. What did you

:24:18.:24:23.

think of her frock? It's very cute isn't it and very cheeky and

:24:23.:24:28.

reminds me of a bit Betty boop and I liked the fringing revealing her

:24:28.:24:31.

leg and stuff when she was dancing, she has a beautiful figure so when

:24:31.:24:36.

she does that twist it's sexy. really cheeky dance. She had to

:24:37.:24:41.

entice someone to help her with her car and stuff, it made her look

:24:41.:24:47.

really sexy and it worked with the dance. The cheverons on the front

:24:47.:24:54.

of the dress accentuated her big boobs and small waist. It's racey

:24:54.:24:59.

really because the fringing goes up quite high, then you have the flesh

:24:59.:25:04.

colour there but it's all very... Untypical for a charleston like the

:25:04.:25:08.

flapper dress, very untypical compared to Anita's dress which was

:25:08.:25:14.

much more classic, longer, more square cut, dropped waist,

:25:14.:25:18.

waistband. Drop waists are becoming a bit of a theme with Anita. She's

:25:18.:25:21.

had that a couple of times and she's worn very bright colours in

:25:21.:25:24.

her costumes and here she gets to wear classic black. What did you

:25:24.:25:30.

love about this? I do like the drop waist. It's very Art Deco. The

:25:30.:25:33.

fringing on the bottom is really nice and the low scoop back.

:25:33.:25:38.

Everything fits together and it's an amazing design dress I think and

:25:38.:25:41.

beautifully made. The head dress, you know, she's really enjoying it,

:25:42.:25:45.

pulls the whole thing off. I think she looks so comfortable in it.

:25:45.:25:51.

When you are making an outfit, that's how it should be because you

:25:51.:25:53.

have to feel great and exude confidence.

:25:53.:25:57.

That's what you want isn't it, to send your ladies out looking

:25:57.:26:02.

glorious and feeling it as well? She looks like she could be going

:26:02.:26:06.

to a cocktail party, the flapper dress was a real liberation for

:26:06.:26:10.

women, they could move, breathe, kick their legs, show their flesh a

:26:10.:26:13.

bit more, so the departure from the traditional boned structured

:26:13.:26:18.

outfits that people had to wear. It really fits with that beautiful

:26:18.:26:26.

amazing fun, cheeky dance she was doing. Very Gatsby. 8,000 stones on

:26:27.:26:34.

the dress all done by hand. Which is lob orious. Do you use stoning?

:26:34.:26:40.

Have done in the past but not that many. Alex was wearing her

:26:40.:26:43.

turquoise dress for the quickstep on Saturday. Quite a bold colour

:26:43.:26:47.

which obviously really suits her. What did you think of this, Sadie?

:26:47.:26:52.

When you look at the detail and how beautiful it is, quite mermaidy

:26:52.:26:58.

isn't it? Yes, very. Figure hugging. It's a great colour and the gold

:26:59.:27:02.

underneath when you could see that... That is a lovely extra

:27:02.:27:07.

little flash. Great detail but very hard to dance in. So heavy and so

:27:07.:27:11.

much fabric. Actually, fashion fact, apparently they used a lighter

:27:11.:27:17.

material to make it lighter for her because she had to move so fast.

:27:17.:27:24.

You can see the inserted fabric. Yes, you get the points for that!

:27:24.:27:28.

35 metres of fabric and 10,000 stones in Tote afplt that took

:27:28.:27:34.

someone an awful long time. -- total. They nipped it in to give

:27:34.:27:39.

her a lovely little waist to make the skirt look fuller. Let's have a

:27:39.:27:48.

look at Holly's jive outfit. Jemima, tell me about that? Wide lapels, a

:27:48.:27:51.

nod to Ralph Lauren I think because he's done a lot of that this season

:27:51.:27:56.

and last. Lovely wide collar. Gangster but with a twist because I

:27:56.:28:01.

think it's a silver pinstripe isn't it? It's just not traditionally

:28:01.:28:07.

Strictly is it? I mean what other woman's worn a suit that I've seen.
