Episode 6 The Voice: Louder on Two

show. Sophie May, Lee, Bizzi and Chris are here to say their

goodbyes. Hello welcome to The Voice Louder on

2. What a show on Saturday! It was a gripper. I was gripped down to the

wire. After 12 weeks of incredible competition, we have our four

finalists. For Team Ricky, it's Christina-Marie. Team Tom, it's

Sally. Team Kylie, Jamie. And for Team Will, last but not least,

Jermain. So exciting. So those are our "Big

Four". I will chat to them and their coaches throughout the week. As it's

been a little while since you and I have seen each other, let's have a

catch up. Here's the daily gossip. First, even before the final, The

Voice has produced its first superstar act of the series, going

by the name seven, eight, nine. Me, Lee and Ricky started a boy band and

it's called seven, eight, nine. The reason why is because I have size

seven feet. I've got size, well Ricky has size eight. I have size

nine. That's our band. We released our hit in the next couple of of

years. Called Show me Your Shoes. It's going to be amazing. Watch out

for it. It's going to be a hit. I can't

absolutely commit at this point to Seven Eight Nine. All right, Show Me

Your Shoes. # What size are your shoes

I'm not nine. I have to say, I have bought worse

records than that. Any way, now we see the return of the voice mean. We

saw you this lovely picture of cryy and -- Kylie and Jason Rule The

World. -- Jason Derulo. We asked for your captions. Kirsty said, "What do

you mean, I'm your second favourite? Another favourite was, Dean from

Hampshire, "Can't get you out of my chair."

Really wanted to sing it. They wouldn't let me. If you want to get

This is will.i.am having a moment, to have a go, althe details can be

favourites later in the week. That was our daily gossip. Thank

you. Our acts may have looked very calm

and collected on Saturday, but we went behind-the-scenes to capture

what really is mayhem. Semifinal! Got my own chauffer.

Things I have to do. It's a bitterliy this morning. It's

a bitearly this morning. This is the real Voice of America, at 5. 30am,

with no make up and we need to warm up. Let's go. O Now I've got a

headache. Semifinal rehearsals today but

everyone is trying to enjoy it and have fun. Kylie is over there, Tom

and Kylie together. My performance has flame throwers, I have to be

careful my beard doesn't catch light. What it comes to the dancing,

I've taught them every step they're doing tonight. I just hope they

execute correctly, otherwise I will be very anningy. You're not --

angry. You're not doing it right. When it's the word "dancing" I want

you to go... Yeah, Sally is a slave driver. She doesn't let us get away

with much. No breaks either. Just solid. Look at this guy, the three

piece, the pin, even a badge on the tie, putting me to shame. I'm going

to wardrobe. We're singing with our coaches.

That's a once in a lifetime thing. I'm about to sing with Kylie. Oh, my

God. Still pinching myself, I'm singing

with Tom Jones. This is The Voice. Down this

corridor you have all the celebrities, Emma, Marvin, Tom

Jones, Kylie Minogue, Zoe Ball, all of them...

I love getting my make up done. It shows a more feminine side, you

know? Oh, in my eye. You look like you're from Westlife.

# I'm flying without wings # Just been outside and sawn the crowd

queue -- seen the crowd queueing up to come in. So many things to think

about. Three minutes folks, three minutes and then on the studio

floor, thank you. Attention Great Britain, are you

ready for this? I was born ready. Making us all nervous, just even

watching that. Time for our first goodbyes of the evening. Welcome Lee

from Team Kylie and Chris from Team Ricky.

APPLAUSE hello boys. A little birdie tells me

there were a few sore heads yesterday morning and perhaps even

this morning, Chris, two nights in a row. Two nights. A bit of

celebration, leaving the show? It was nice to wind down, after all,

we've been doing it for so long. It's nice to chill out and enjoy it.

I want to hear the stories later on. Where was my call, by the way? I

caught up with your coaches yesterday to have a chat about you.

They had lovely things to say. Phenomenal show last night. The

atmosphere was amazing. Let's talk about Lee. You took him all the way

to the semifinals. He did you proud. Absolutely. He was a nervous wreck

all of last week. But he did fantasticically and straight after

his performance, even Tom turned to me and said, yeah, he did really

great. He has to be proud, super proud. I am proud of him. Again, we

got to see Jamie and Lee, how close they've become. They were holding

hands. Like brothers. I know that bit where they were holding hands,

so sweet The camaraderie is so fantastic. Lee was gracious towards

Jamie as well. Yeah, they genuinely are good mates. I just had a

rehearsal with Jamie today and he was saying he's going to miss having

Lee around. Ricky, you said you've learned more

from Chris than anyone in this competition, tell me more. Just a

great kid. I've enjoyed spending time with him and he can sing as

well, which is a bonus. I've enjoyed having him in the competition

because I've enjoyed spending time with him. And such a transformation.

Think of Chris in the blinds, look at the confidence that's grown. It's

almost like he stands with more confidence now. Yeah, he's always

been Chris. He's always had that voice. It's just that during the

show he's, I think he feels like he deserves to be there more than at

the beginning. And he does deserve to be there. I can't wait to spend

more time with him. Was gorgeous to Christina-Marie. Yeah, of course.

They've been quite close. They've learned a lot off each other.

They're at different ends of the spectrum and somewhere in the middle

is the perfect superstar. If you could give one piece of Chris, Kylie

for Lee to take off with him, after this experience, what would that be?

Just carry on. I mean, he's got this gift of such a awe neeck voice. The

nation fell in love with him. They really D he got to, you know, right

to the finish line. Get in the studio. Get writing. Your advice? I

don't need to. We're going for a long lunch next week to talk about

the future. My one piece of advice would be - don't have red wine with

fish. Yeah, we're meeting up next week to

discuss what's going to happen with him. He's got a huge career ahead of

him, I think. That's nice to know. Looking after them. I just want a

long, boozy lunch. Know what you're like!

Lunch next week. I hope Ricky's paying by the way. Of course! You

could be there for days. You said actually that he's not just been a

voice coach, he's been like a life coach to you. How's he influenced

you, how has Ricky helped you? He's always told me to be myself. I don't

know, you just get a vibe from him. I know his status you know, but he's

just that friendly guy that you can go to the pub with and just have

that normal, he's just a normal, genuine guy. And his status helps

him. He's just lovely. Lovely. He is your mate, Ricky is now your mate.

Kylie wants to see you writing songs and getting in the studio. Have you

got any songs written? Yeah, I've been writing for years. I've got

loads of stuff. I feel really inspired from the whole process, you

get a lot of inspiration to write. I'm excited to take time now to

write and get in the studio. Tattoo by the way. Cheers. Chris, Ally was

on the show and he called you the urban Buble. That was never more

apparent than on Saturday. Is that the kind of song that you'd release?

Yeah, when I came into the competition, I wanted to be John

Legend meets Michael Buble. I will continue to do that music. It's what

I do best. You do it so well. Stunning performance on Saturday,

perilously perchened on a car wreck on Saturday night. -- perched. You

said it was the best you had sung that song. You did it beautifully.

Thank you. I found it really difficult to connect with that song.

In the rehearsals, leading up to that, I just couldn't get my head

around it how I was going to - you know, for me, people wait for me to

throw emotion into songs and I didn't feel like it was happening.

But with the intensity, and the audience being there and knowing

that people at home were watching, I just thought I've got to throw

myself into the song. I did. But I'm happy with the performance. It was

beautiful. We're going to see him singing later as well. Here we go, I

have the tissues ready. If you should need them, hold my hand.

Here's the story of your life on The Voice. ( Singing in front of these

four coaches could be the break that I need. This opportunity is

priceless. # So wake me up when it's all over

with Ricky. You walk in the room and feel like Chris is here,

everything's fine. This is just him and his personality.

I do struggle with confidence. That's why I like music. I can put

every last bit of emotion into the song.

Somewhere over the rainbow # He makes you feel instantly

emotional. # Holy cow, I love your eyes #

I think we need a pop star like Chris in the world, someone that

comes from nowhere and blows your mind.

# If you just smile # Give it up for Chris! Gorgeous. I

will always think of you when I hear that Elbow song as well. Lee, here

we go. Let's see the best bits so far of Lee G. ( I've decided I'm

going to have a go at one of the coach's songs. They might think I've

sabotaged it. # I just can't get you out of my

Your voice is arresting. It's other worldly. I'm going to go with Kylie.

Lee, probably the most you've neeck voice. He -- most unique voice. He

takes a song and makes it his own version. He's really an emotive

performer and he stops people in their tracks.

# The wasted chance that I've been given #

I'm used to working in an office and now I'm suddenly spending days and

days in the studio with Kylie. It's brilliant. I don't want it to end.

Being on the live shows is just incredible. It's an experience I've

got to embrace. I'm going to make the most of every moment of it.

The two of you, you're both awesome. Who do you want to see go on and win

now? Chris, in your heart, who do you think will be the winner of the

Voice of America? I want -- The winner of the Voice to win. I want

Jamie to win. Lee? I think the four guys are great, and I've got so much

time for Sally especially, but Jamie is my boy. He's got to do it. You're

starting to campaign now. It's been wonderful getting to know you. We

record a swan song for us. We'll show you these throughout the week.

Proper shivers up the spine. Well done Lee. It's beautiful. If you

performing arts charity. It isn't just the acts who blow us away week

after week, behind every great vocalist is a great band. Take a

look. I'm David Tench, the musical

director on the Voice. We have a cracking band on the Voice. We have

Ben on bass. He's all about the groove and the time of things. If

ever there's a song that has to be funky, Ben is there right on it.

Actually the singers respond to it. They might not know it's coming from

the world of bass, but they're responding to that feeling. On

guitar Adam. His heart is in rock music. But he's disciplined enough

to be able to know if that's not required, he has to do the soft jazz

sound or he has to do sweet, acoustic playing. He's all over it

in terms of styles. On drums we have Ash, who is just a phenomenal

player. He plays on a lot of Adele songs, James Morrison. He is playing

on so many records you hear in the charts. That's a fantastic thing for

me. It means that the Voice band sounds current because he has a

current sound. On the keys we have Steve.

He works with Kylie for eight years, toured the world with her. He's,

very cool. Even though I'm musical director for the band, I need as

much support as I can get. The music team is fantastic. Johnny liaises

with the artists and me and decides on songs. You're the man! And we

have programming over there as well. The claps could come up for that

section, please. Just to make a real thing of it.

We have Richard who does arrangements and sorts out the

music. Strings will be real and then I come in with this. Then we have

our singers too. My job is to bring it all together. And to get us to

the end result, the performance for the show. Yes. I work very closely

with the coaches and the acts. We routine the songs around the pinot

and come up with what we're doing, how long, how short it will will be.

Are you thinking? When it grows, we're growing with strings and

recorded brass. I do a day with the band and shape it into something.

When the coaches come in with the acts, they hear what I've done for

the first time. Then it becomes a collaborative process. There's so

much power in your voice, I reckon the band could bring it up a bit.

Absolutely and Ash if you could straighten out a bit. Bit harder

edge for Jamie. It might be the extra that makes you fully believe

in this song. We put a lot of work into choosing

the songs. Sometimes, it's not the right choice. When you sang it with

the pinot, it sounded that it was going to work. Now it sounds real

Vegas. Inherent in the music are so many device that's are like

fireworks. I just want to see Jermain. It's disheartening for

everybody and hard for me. I've spent a long time investing in the

song we were doing, then we have to start from scratch. Do you want to

walk it through with me again? Yes! I'm telling you man, slicing and

dicing. You know what, it's worth it in the end. I love the end result to

what I do. It's so rewarding. Just to see that performance go out on TV

and know how we shaped it, I get a kick out of. It

-- of it. Give it up for Mr David Tench and

the band. They are amazing. Such brilliant work. Time for round two

performances, all the performances you did on Saturday night, so good.

You definitely went out on a highment Yeah. Before we even talk,

you have to see what Tom and will.i.am have to say about you.

It's really lovely. I caught up with them yesterday.

let's talk about Bizzi. He must have done you so proud. Yeah, I mean, I

love that song. And so does he. He brought Bizzi to it. He got busy as

well. He really D he pulled stuff out of there which was fantastic. He

sort of saved a little bit because in rehearsal, it wasn't quite as he

did it on the show. I thought, good God, that's tremendous. Proud of

your boy. Sophie May, so incredible. Everybody loved it. Were you glad

you shared the stage with you before she went home? It broke my heart

that she left. She's so young, just turned 17. She was excited she was

away from home for so long. The bond between her and her mum grew

stronger because you're 17, your first time away from home, you're

talking to your mum every day telling her, I learned how to cook

this, I'm cooking pasta on my own. This experience was more than just

singing in a competition. It was Sophie finding herself. Life

changing. This is her independent Sophie moment. She will never forget

this moment. So to see her go home with a smile on her face was heart

breaking and beautiful all at the same time. As well. Tom, what advice

would you give to Bizzi as he goes back into the big, wide world? I

think he's already got it. He's a God fearing man. That's important.

You can tell. Everybody time he comes on there, before he sings and

after he sings, he always goes like this. So just keep the faith. You

got it. What about Sophie May, you were hinting about something in the

future with her, fingers crossed we see something like that happen. What

would you say to her? Sophie May, I'm so happy that you have joined

this competition. I know you didn't go through to the finals and I know

you didn't win the show, but you and me are going to work together

regardless, just keep that wide-eyed spirit, the willingness to take on

new ideas and Sophie-fy them and create wonderful music. Let's do

that together. I think you're awesome. Thank you very much.

That's amazing. I'm so excited. Like, I know every time I come on, I

keep saying, oh, my gosh, I'm so excited. Genuinely, I am so excited.

profile. You've come on the show. You must be happy that you have

dazzled the nation with your vocal skills. Thank you very much. That's

what I wanted to do pt I come from -- to do. I believe if people see

it, they can achieve it. Hopefully people from Leicester can think they

can do it too. May, Saturday Royals was your first attempt at something

contemporary, how important was that? Really important. People

haven't really seen that side to me yesterday. Of course, I'm still into

my retro, jazz and stuff. But I wanted to show people I could

inoperate a modern song. -- interp receipt a modern song. -- inter

My little Nelly, you're her favourite by the way. She's gutted

you've gone out. Shall we look at the highlights. I think we should.

Very rarely do you come across a Sophie May. She is like a unicorn.

never got her shot and has decided to come back to 2014 to have her

for you? I think Jermain and Kristina have very old voices for
