Of the nine people here today,

only one will win the prize money of up to £10,000.

The others will leave with nothing, after their team-mates vote them the weakest link.

Welcome to The Weakest Link.

Any of the nine people here today could win up to £10,000.

They don't know each other.

However, if they want the money, they need to work as a team.

But eight of them will leave with nothing,

as round by round we lose the player voted the weakest link.

I'm Dione. I'm 36, and I'm a part-time temp from Peterborough.

In each round, the aim is to answer enough questions correctly

to reach £1,000 in the time limit.

The fastest way is to create a chain of nine correct answers.

Get a question wrong, and you lose the money in the chain.

But if you say "bank" before the question,

the money is safe and you start a new chain from scratch.

At the end of the round, only money that has been banked can be taken forward.
