Of the nine people preparing for today's show,

only one will take home the prize money of up to £10,000.

The rest will leave with nothing when their team-mates

vote them the weakest link.

Any of the nine people in the studio here today

could win up to £10,000.

They don't know each other, but if they want the prize money,

they'll have to work as a team.

Eight of them will leave with nothing,

as we lose the player voted the weakest link. Let's meet the team.

enough questions correctly to reach the £1,000 target

within the time limit.

The fastest way is a chain of nine correct answers.

A wrong answer breaks the chain and loses the money.

But if you say "bank" before the question is asked,

the money is safe, however, you start a new chain from scratch.

At the end of the round, only banked money

is carried forward. In Round One

you get three minutes on the clock.
