Here are today's nine contestants

preparing for the show.

Only one will go home with the prize money of up to £10,000.

The others will leave with nothing

as their team-mates vote them the weakest link.

They don't know each other.

If they want the money, they must work as a team.

But eight of them will leave with nothing

as round by round we lose the player voted the weakest link.

Now the rules. In each round the aim

is to answer enough questions right to reach £1,000

within the time limit. The fastest way is

a chain of nine correct answers. Get your question wrong

and you lose the money in that chain.

If you say, "Bank," before the question

the money is safe.

However, you start a new chain from scratch.

Remember, at the end of the round

only money that has been banked can be taken forward.
